For me Bellegarde is frustrating, no doubt has ability, for short spells in some games he looks good, unfortunately doesn’t maintain this and goes missing. Obviously doesn’t help when we keep losing and confidence is very low, I do prefer him to Munetsi. We only really have the 3 midfielders if Krejci plays in defence, could do with 2 Krejci’s.
Still think we should look to play:-
Johnstone, Hugo or Wolfie, Santi, Krejci, Jackson, Andre, Joao, then Mane, Arias or Bellegarde, Lopez and Tolu for next home game. Would like us to create plenty of chances, get Enzo on bench as well so we can at least see him.

TBH I'm not exactly sure what goes on at our club anymore. As you rightly point out we buy these players and then don't use them. Lopez, Tolu, Wolfie,
Jackson, Enzo, Lima etc?
It's gets pretty frustrating putting the same players out every week when they're so clearly out of form or low on confidence. Hwang, JSL, Bellegarde to name a few.
Collins had a free hit the weekend against Chelsea and really it was a pretty predictable poor line up.
He would have come away with more credibility if he'd been a bit more adventurous with his team selection and we got turned over, instead of the 'same old' with a fairly predictable result. It seriously makes you wonder though if that is what Collin's is coaching our youngsters then no wonder they leave and nobody comes through the academy.

Personally, I've always shown support for any Wolves Manager like I did with GON until it was obvious, okay never completely enamoured with Lops personality. Rob Edwards is another in a long line of Shi inspired selections which I must admit has left me feeling a little underwhelmed if I'm honest. Probably because of Jeff's record of decision making and meaning no disrespect to Edwards.
If, however, he get's the team playing on the front foot with a more attacking style and 'going for it' I will feel more enthused. Only then will we see if this team/squad can do it and have just been poorly organised to date.
I know we have issues in defence and allowing too many balls into the box, etc, but maybe that can be addressed in January but this sideways, backwards passing without the ability to at least counter attack at speed is just says one thing to me.
So come on Rob show us why you wanted this job, but if it's another fest of the latter, I suspect I won't be the only one moaning.

Never known so much media coverage on Wolves.oh yes of course, we are in trouble and failing-should have realised. Unlike under Nuno when we were getting naff all
10 Nov 2025 09:49:48
I see both Hwang and Toti saying they are looking forward to working with Rob. I hope Rob has seen enough of them both to avoid starting them in any games for the foreseeable future, likewise Bellegarde, Agbadou and more often than not Munetsi.
Also hope, as we have already mentioned he gives the younger lads a chance, Mane, obviously and what happened to the winger from South America, can’t even recall his name now?

10 Nov 2025 10:54:03
Funnily enough I always wondered what role munetsi was supposed to be in, on Saturday I was wondering what we were short of first half and I twigged it was munetsi not popping up here there and everywhere Banksy, up we weren't exactly doing anything until Mane came on with his energy, then of munetsi missed the target again when he had the chance.
The problems we've got with toti agbadu and mosquira, ( santi and kraicji Doc aside), is who do you play when needs must? I'd like to see young Alfie Pond have his chance.
Midfield we're lacking, but if Edwards can reinvigorate Andre and Gomez, without suspension or injury it's OK. Who slots in tho? We're back to bellegarde and munetsi, although with a different approach I think Wolfe and Hugo could work well and see Hugo going forward in a RAN mold, maybe the we have lopez Arias tolu and Larsen to choose from, there'd be no need for Hwang, who with all respect gives us little if anything.
(Incidently did you notice the longest run by a wolves player with the ball on Sat was hwang going back towards our goal?).
The winger from S America? Did we actually acquire the lad? There's someone who's been out injured who I can't remember, Lima of course is out on loan.
But we've other youngsters the lad Sutherland U21 Scotland for one who could maybe introduced as the season goes on, but whatever happens Rob has got to change the mentality of this squad, lift the confidence and aims.
Maybe Jeff could offer extra financial incentives for survival?
10 Nov 2025 11:56:05
Don't get this Bellegarde hate tbf. Granted, he's hardly up there in the upper echelons of Premier league stars but, at the lower levels we operate at, I can easily think of well over half a dozen players who I'd have for the chop before him. At least he tries to be positive and break the opponents defensive lines. Who else can we say that about?
10 Nov 2025 12:40:50
I have think Bellegarde has been one of our best players so far this season (not much to choose from). He is positive in the way he plays and looks to take on his man rather than keep playing the ball backwards. We have x2 big forwards who could be a handful but I think our wide players are letting us down. I don't rate Bueno that much and I think Jackson needs some confidence in using his pace against teams. The guy is or one of the fastest players in the league but it is like he is chained when attacking.
I have read that we will spend in January which does not surprise me as our summer business was awful. January window is known to be a poor window and what good players will want to come anyway? we had the issue in summer where players did not want to come.
10 Nov 2025 12:44:56
Trouble is Abbey, Gomes and Andre are very similar players and even when playing with confidence don't exactly compliment each other, particularly when we play a back five. Just one of the many and various conundrums that our new manager will face.
Perhaps the biggest is how do we stop crosses going into our box? To my eyes, this has been one of our major downfalls but from what we've seen this season to date none of our full/wing backs are anywhere near capable and so always need assistance from others.
10 Nov 2025 13:35:04
The appointment of Edwards will do very little in my opinion. Tbh I think he will be lucky to win five games such is the malaise of the club. The efforts by all need to be on removing Shi and Fosun
10 Nov 2025 14:19:11
I think the South American winger you are talking about Banksy is Enso Gonzales, currently in the under 21s.
10 Nov 2025 14:31:49
Shi and Fosun won't be going anywhere unless China invade Taiwan
10 Nov 2025 15:08:06
Can't disagree old wulf regarding gomez and Andre, but who else have we got? Andre as been having abit of a sulk and gomez running around chasing, I just think they'd play better with support for their style. The crossing in is somewhere that needs resolving, and to that end with both Wolfe and Hugo ahead of him lending a defensive left midfield combo maybe that'd be netter than Hwang wandering about.
On the crosses I truly feel pond could help out ahead of toti, with a decent distribution out .
Mane gives the energy and skill to provide the forward ball quicker with larsen being given the edge over tulu in holding the ball and head on.
Right side I totally agree Alex, jackson can be a powerhouse down that wing, if, we can play accurate balls for him, and as with adama, keep up with him.
Defensively the right worries me, not sure either mosquira or santi can close quick enough or maybe their minds have been half watching the spaces between toti agbadu .
Thankfully it's not my problem to address but if Edwards dosnt do anything QS it won't matter what Fosun and Shi do this season, but their presence won't be encouraging the calvalry brigade of players we'll need in January
10 Nov 2025 15:22:01
Cheers Ray that is the fella 👍
09 Nov 2025 13:49:11
The new manager / coach needs to bench JSL and give Tolu a run.
Bellergard is at least trying however Hwang and Munetsi are not good enough.
Krijce should be captain and if it a back four the Tchautchua Santi Krijce Hugo
Mid field of Andre as the holder with Gomes and Fer lopes
Tulo up top with both Mane and Areas as false tens
No reason to change the keeper.

NandoFC22 look at my comment below must be reading each others minds.
09 Nov 2025 15:04:26
Rob Edwards is in he's agreed terms
09 Nov 2025 16:03:16
The biggest concern I have at the moment is how much money has been burnt. Every player that has arrived and many that were here must have devalued substantially. How much is JSL worth now, 50m + only a few weeks ago, Fer Lopez, Arais, the only one that may have held his value is Krajic but we haven't bought him yet.
I wish Rob Edwards all the very best as he is very courageous taking on this poisoned chalice. Here's hoping
09 Nov 2025 22:34:27
Dmac123 if we mere supporters can pick a team why couldn’t VP
10 Nov 2025 06:46:27
VP did pick the players to do the job and achieve the end he wanted., Nando.
That's why he's not our manager anymore.
10 Nov 2025 20:33:00
Rob Edwards is a braver man than me! If he can get the best out of this Wolves squad, we can stay up. Plus, he has the January window to bring some more skilled players in. After all, he got little Luton overachieving for a good while in the PL, but even this Wolves squad is better than Luton's was. Conversely, Slot has somehow got mighty Liverpool underachieving, based on squad quality. The right head coach can even get a team of journeymen players performing well above themselves. Let's hope Edwards is that head coach! Slot seems to be showing his limitations at Liverpool in spite of their ludicrously expensive squad. It's as much about the head coach is it is about the players.
11 Nov 2025 18:40:57
He'll need to add to the squad in January as Agbadou, Tchatchoua, Munetsi, Arokodare and Chirewa are all off to Afcon.
09 Nov 2025 13:24:08
My team to play CP is a back 4
Johnstone
Jackson
S Bueno
Krejci
H Bueno
Gomes
Andre
Mane
Lopez
Arias
Tolu
Iwould see if Mane can play just be hind Tolu with Arias and Lopez on the wings give Wolves more of a threat going forward RE has to try something different so why not.

Rob Edwards to be appointed tomorrow
09 Nov 2025 13:47:26
Good shout DMac, a 4231 formation why not, might actually create some chances 🤞👍
09 Nov 2025 13:53:39
I think that's about the best side we could put out at the moment DMac, I'd go with that, as you say, why not?
09 Nov 2025 15:24:46
Don’t get why everyone was so desperate to keep jsl and now want rid of him. He’s had an injury and gets no service. He would have scored both of tolus efl cup goals. I’m all for tolu but not sure he’s better than strand Larsen, who scored 14 goals last season.
09 Nov 2025 15:58:30
IIkleywoves you will never know untill Tolu gets a chance because at the moment Larsen is useless and Wolves need a change simple as.
10 Nov 2025 11:57:39
Without access to the stats it's hard to say but I suspect JSL goals last season came as a result of Cunha assists and RAN crosses.
09 Nov 2025 11:04:28
I think we need to provide Rob with a little help, he obviously reads our posts:-
1) No more Whang or Bellegarde
2) Drop JSL for the time being
3) Play more creative players, Mane, Lopez
4) Sign at least 1 midfielder in January
5) Prepare for the inevitable lack of help from Jeff and losing our best players every year
I would say no more Toti or Agbadou, however we will have no defenders left.
Absolute mess, best of luck Rob, you must be a little mad to join us.
Best we can hope for is he manages to restore a little confidence, changes the players, and we somehow look a different side. Long shot I realise, but have to cling on to something.

09 Nov 2025 12:19:44
I would really like to know how Jeff lured him to us?
09 Nov 2025 12:30:08
I assume Rob Edwards decision is as much to do with family as football. He is local, and that is a great tug. It must have been on his wishlist to manage Wolves at some stage. If he comes in now and manages to get a tune out of the players he may well keep some for the challenge next season.
A quick return will look good on his CV, and if a new owner materialises in the meantime he may well have a great influence over the coming years for Wolves. It is a risk, but you have to take the opportunity and weigh up the risk and your own belief.
09 Nov 2025 13:27:27
Wimbornewolf - It has been said elsewhere before, make yourself available, attend the interview, say the right things and promise to bring results, do the job, get sacked and take the money!
09 Nov 2025 13:51:28
Plus being a Wolves Manager you won't have to wait too long for the sack and subsequent pay off OAP Wulfrunian. Maybe less than 12 months.
09 Nov 2025 16:28:45
Well. If he keeps us up.
It will be regarded as a modern day miracle
But I think its to get us back in long term to
Prem status if we go down
10 Nov 2025 06:55:01
If he gives me honest, entertaining, genuine effort and hope, and more importantly pride even in defeat, then he'll have gone someway to building for the future.
Maybe we won't be seeing the exotic players from abroad, but Edwards should have seen the potential in lower priced lower league names who can give us what we need to rebuild and return to the top.
What Fosun have in mind for us remains to be seen.
10 Nov 2025 12:59:12
I wonder how Fosun and Edwards sell the 'project' to any potential targets unless the project is mid table mediocrity in the Championship.
09 Nov 2025 10:09:12
Desperately need a leader on the pitch who leads by example. I personally think that player is Krejci who should be made Captain immediately.
Let’s give Rob a chance by at least showing some positivity and support on this platform if possible.

Not sure what difference that will make Oxley but all Wolves Managers/Coach's are supported by the fans, initially at least.
Perhaps the owners should match that support for them, the Club and the fans for that matter.
09 Nov 2025 11:49:51
Toti is definitely not capable of being captain shouldn't even be on the side
09 Nov 2025 14:29:40
Toti is lazy and useless.should never be seen again in a Wolves shirt!
Just my opinion
09 Nov 2025 15:19:52
Agree. Last night when we were 1 nil down, we had nothing to lose and were expected to lose anyway so why not go for the jugular by throwing on Arokadare, Mane and Arias in place of Toti, Hwang and Bellegarde.
I just hope Rob Edwards has a plan and is backed in the transfer market. that's if he still wants to join the club.
09 Nov 2025 09:17:54
Forget staying up this season.
It’s all about what happens next season. We have to hope that the new manager can somehow get us into a position whereby we seriously challenge for promotion. Some of the best seasons I have experienced in my 60 years of supporting Wolves have been promotion seasons so it ay necessarily the end of the world.
BUT the worry is that due to Jeff’s monumental incompetence and Fosun’s apparent lack of interest we may instead be looking at a drop to league 1.
For now please let’s get a win under our belts and get to 12 points as soon as possible. Then go from there.
Good luck Rob, you’re going to need it with Jeff, but we are all behind you.

Club is in total shambles thanks to Shi.
09 Nov 2025 18:13:45
3G : you're spot on, if Fosun remain and don't replace Shi the slide down the football pyramid will continue unabated, supposed to work with Managers and Coaches not blame them for your own inabilities.
09 Nov 2025 08:18:09
It really doesn't matter who comes in as manager/coach!
That team selection yesterday was directed from above Collins. He said in pre match he had been around the training pitch and knows the players! Really? Why on earth did he have whang and Toti on the pitch? And as for JSL (and I know I'll get some stick for this) but that boy can't trap a bag of cement, let alone get half a yard of pace off a defender! He will probably be worth £5.50 and a mars bar wrapper in January!
I bow to BB2 and TFIOG nothing and I mean nothing will change untill that monumental half wit Shi gets his hands out of the football pot!
I don't think 38 points will be enough to save a team this year given how the promoted teams are performing, that means we have to win 13 from 27! Near as damit 50%! Which new manager/coach that wants to come to this sorry state has that in his locker?
Agree0
Disagree0
09 Nov 2025 08:38:15
Collins should be sacked also. That was disgraceful. I don't know what the game plan was except to try and get a point from a 0-0 bore draw. There was no way we were going to score. Our strike force (force😂😂) are absolutely useless.
Hwang wouldn't make it in a Championship side. JSL can't control a football. The team selection again was rubbish. It needs a complete clear out.
Good luck Rob Edwards because you've got a massive job on your hands with this lot.
09 Nov 2025 08:39:59
'Monumental half wit' 😂.
09 Nov 2025 08:50:50
Lets face it guys, we are down but I hope our new manager can at least get us fighting and set the team up to at least compete and then we can plan for next season in thr Championship. Can also get rid of the dead wood which we all tend to agree who they are.Hwang, Toti, JSL to name a few.
Last night when we went behind there was no fight, no effort and just no quality apart from maybe Gomes and Mane.
Just hope we don't finish with the lowest points tally when the inevitable happens.
09 Nov 2025 08:53:37
I no it’s all doom and gloom at the moment but I think rob Edwards loves our club and will put his heart and soul into it he knows we might get relegated but I think he will have a total revamp and might pinch a few players from Middlesbrough just hope they back him what would be nice if shi and fosun do one and we get took over and get back to the good old Nuno days we can all hope
09 Nov 2025 09:09:00
When you see the team sheet and the names Toti, Whang, Bellegarde you know we are in serious trouble. If Collins knows the players surely be wouldn't pick that lot. They must surely be regretting not taking the money for Larsen, he's not interested. Why do they have an Academy, or under 21s, they produce virtually nothing perhaps the coaching at that level isn't up to standard.
If Edwards takes the job you have to ask yourself why, Middlesbrough are a good side so why take on a disaster like Wolves. Seems strange to me perhaps he likes losing.
09 Nov 2025 11:00:41
It's not that he's not interested Ray he just isn't good enough and never was really. Yes he scored a few last season but unless you are Gerd Muller ( showing my age!) you need more to your game. Shows how desperate Newcastle were last summer.
