I wonder what news we'll wake up to tomorrow? Will it be Jeff declaring his undying support for VP or will a modicum of common sense prevail? As things stand it's hard to know if it's the players or VP's increasingly bizarre team selections that are doing the damage. Is 'still trying things out' a cover for I'm just guessing?

Either way it's gone too far now as Rated has pointed out no wins in 10 a new Premier League record and not a good one, add that to the lack of wins at the end of last season and the promotion of VP to Manager with a new contract just says one thing to me. They said they left the GON decision too late but are they about to repeat the exact same one, Jeff does seem to have a penchant for doing that.

So where do we go from here because if Fosun won't sell the club to someone with ambition then we are royally screwed. This can't go on.

In the hands of supporters now. Fosun will not sack Shi. Maybe a boycott of games will force Fosun to sell. A big call, but desperate times.

02 Nov 2025 06:32:15
One observation.
Chinese culture is all about not losing face. It is far more significant than in our culture.
It is about avoiding public criticism; making mistakes in front of peers
and failing to meet expectations.
Well, surely that fits with the negative Wolves situation!
Time for a radical change, ie a new senior management team with real authority put in place.

02 Nov 2025 07:31:22
If this carries on Fosun will need a face transplant Rugeley because they've already turned themselves and the Club into a complete laughing stock. Wouldn't it be nice right now if they, Shi or anyone from senior management made a statement of intent to the fans or is that contrary to Chinese culture as well?

VP going is a minimum first step to redemption but then who's going to pick his replacement, Shi, oh great?

01 Nov 2025 20:27:20
Matt Murray says that is the worst performance he has ever seen from a Wolves team. He also says he can't see how VP can stay, pity Fosun don't see it the same way. Our club has become an embarrassment, can't see VP walking, surely Fosun have to at least instruct Jeff to remove VP, that is, if they insist on retaining Jeff.

Bilstonwolf on x posted VP went to shake 3 players hands after the game and they refused and put their hands on the back.the dressing room and the fans want him gone

01 Nov 2025 19:12:16
Yea just read VP blaming players fitness technicality etc, says he wants to discuss with them as to what went wrong and that he's trying his best.
Simple answers, he selected the wrong players, chose the wrong tactics and his best ain't good enough.
It's bye bye VP, if Jeff can take the interest in doing it for you, Take your money and go.

01 Nov 2025 19:14:07
He's also questioning the players fitness in the post match. In fairness I question it as well but VP seems to be missing that fact that if the players aren't where they need to be then that also falls squarely at HIS door! One thing he is right about though is that was one of the worst displays under him, which again though I'm afaird Vitor only goes to reinforce the fact that you've clearly lost the dressing room! Benching our best players probably isn't helping, it's like VP is seeking out power struggles to assert his dominance.

He did the same with Cunha last year and only got a way with it cause Cunha was desperately playing for a move! What a complete mess, thanks Jeff! 😭

01 Nov 2025 19:39:05
To come out and say it was the worst performance since he took. Over
Cant fosun see he's asking for the sack
His team selection was asking for the sack
Ffs.

Sack him now
It may to late for anyone to save us
But for gods sake don't let us go down with a wimper, and the lowest ever points tally in prem history, because if they don't act instantly
Thats the way its going

01 Nov 2025 20:39:04
It all kinda adds up now, why VP has so many clubs on his cv. Am I right he averages around a year, or just under, on every position he’s had in management. It’s blatantly obvious now why he can’t tie a job down for long.
To paraphrase the old saying - ‘he’s had more clubs than Rory McIlroy’

01 Nov 2025 21:33:08
The trouble is every other performance seems to be a new low.

01 Nov 2025 18:39:49
Who is selecting the team, surely not Shi, he would have started Hwang. No consistency, I can't think of one Wolves player who has started in every league game .No defence, no creative players, no goals. Recipe for disaster. It's obvious to everyone a lot of the Wolves players are not good enough. To be fair to VP he can only play with the players he has at his disposal.

I have supported Wolves for sixty years. I fear the worst. The six successive league wins last season seem a long time ago.

01 Nov 2025 19:06:46
Feels like a lifetime ago, it's also hard not to start asking/wondering how much Cunhas sheer ability was doing the heavy lifting for VP last season. Cause the VP of last season is unrecognisable to the dross we are currently enduring!

01 Nov 2025 20:01:08
In fairness Bully, our best run of form come without Cuhna in the side, he did on a few occasion for sure, I’d say it’s more of his coming deep for the ball and getting on the front foot that we miss most, we have zero drive on the ball anymore, we are too laboured all the time, this for is smothering our midfield a lot of time.

We seen against Chelsea Wednesday that when we do press with intensity we can create, but we have to start the players, not leave them
On bench.

01 Nov 2025 22:13:37
I hear what your saying Sydney but that whole 'we had our best run without Cunha' does (unfortunately) ignore that it also coincided with us playing the worst teams in the league, half of which were SO poor they are no longer in the league!
The commentators summed it up today, the same game last year Fulham also took an early lead then Cunha took complete control of the game.

I agree with the coming deep but it's more than that, it's having a player that genuinely scares teams! The only players we now have that scares people is our back line and its the Wolves fans it's scaring! Two goals and an assist from Cunha saw us winning the same fixture 4-1 last season, what a difference a genuine class player can make eh! 😭

01 Nov 2025 18:16:35
We have both short term and long term issues that need attention.
The short term is to sack VP and get in a coach to turn things around and keep us in the Prem . Short term contract with a hefty bonus.

Long term is to replace Jeff with a real football CEO. Put in place a development plan and publish it.
Lastly if the owners don't want to do this them please sell up.

Who's going to want to manage this lot there not even championship level? This has been happening over last 3 years keep selling your best players then replace with nobodys you will get found out eventually and this season is the one shame tbf look at the squad we had under nuno could beat anybody on our day sad times at wolves but wolves ay we

Vp looked like a man who does not give a sh@t, leave your best players on the bench, toti as captain? What about mateus mane? The young uns could give a better showing hoover is overated, bellegarde is ok in really short spells, larsen needs benching the dude must go can see fan.boycotts on the horizon pure aimless crap why pay good money to watch this, fosun.only interested in esports as it is a mega money spinner wish they would all f off

01 Nov 2025 17:54:56
If VP had any shred of decency he would resign. Now!
And save us the pay off money of which he doesn't deserve a penny.
Fosun thru Shi specifically prove themselves time and time again to be absolutely clueless as to how to run, and build a football club.
Just go!

Wolves are the first side in Premier League history to go winless in their opening 10 games of consecutive seasons:

But Rated Wolves are reluctant to sack VP as they're seeing signs of improvement. 😂😂😂

01 Nov 2025 17:39:34
Very quiet on X long mate normally a press conference has started by now, hoping he's gone.

01 Nov 2025 17:48:37
Announcement in 48 hours apparently!

01 Nov 2025 17:50:48
I think it’s all a Jeff ploy to gain more attention and so supporters to increase the revenue. If we become the miracle team who survive after such poor starts maybe more people will follow us.

That’s the best reason I can come up with as to why we are being so poorly run. Maybe Jeff thinks people love rollercoasters so why not make a football team one? Are you not entertained? Is this helping at all?

01 Nov 2025 17:51:45
Surely even numpties at Fosun have to sack VP now, Jeff should obviously go as well but seems unlikely. Anyone think they have been looking at possible replacements? Unfortunately I doubt it very much.

01 Nov 2025 17:09:45
I'd give VP the Chelsea game then sack him have a new manager to come in straight away. Work with the players and go from there to see if things can be changed. His team today just looked if he stuck a needle in to who played.

Two of your best players sitting on the bench and going to a back 5 once more. And what happened conceded after 9 minutes with Agbadou and Toti in the side. Then to make matters worse Agbadou gets sent of it coudnt get any worse sack VP now.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Nov 2025 17:20:10
I wouldn't even give him that you can see the devide now, give him Chelsea they'll get double figures against us. He needs to be gone tonight and Shi with him.
Let J.Gomes be player manager until someone comes in Andre as assistant at least those two actually care.

01 Nov 2025 17:21:11
DMac123, I think it could be argued that VP has been looking for the push for some time. Why wait for another game? The players looked shell shocked and overwhelmed now. What is the point of prolonging the agony?

01 Nov 2025 17:28:44
Shouldn't even be allowed on the team coach. Get rid of him now. Poor team selection again leaving out our best midfielders. However in front of Jackson - Really.
Anyway I expect Fosun to make the announcement shortly.

I couldn't get a stream to watch the game, so just followed the Wolves match day blog and by all accounts we were useless from start to end. Not sure who our MOTM was, but my guess Johnstone who kept the scoreline respectable.

01 Nov 2025 17:30:37
Please no DMac, I don't want another 90mins of that embarrassing dross again. He's got to go tonight if he's any self respect, or if Jeff as any guts and respect for our club.

01 Nov 2025 17:09:24
That embarrassing showing has to prove that VP is not capable is so many ways, OR, he's doing a great job for Fosun in running our club to the ground for whatever reason.
If they're not then VPs got to go tonight.
Disgraceful team selection, some strange subbing and timings.

No game plan. Only kreicji Hugo Santi and Johnstone with any effort. Can't blame Larson when he's offered so little.
Utterly utterly dejected and bewildered, bl**dy angry at such' wilful' damage to the wolves.
Clear off now both VP and Fosun
