Can't see Fosun allowing a decent spend on PL ready players to keep us up. Can't see any decent PL players coming to the circus. Can't see RE getting a tune out of what I have so far seen of the squad, certainly not the sort of form to get 12 victories. What sort of management allows this situation to occur given the evidence of what could happen with the recent decline in football quality and close shaves in the last few years.

Are Fosun incompetent or disinterested. It's one or the other. Perhaps Wolverhampton City Council could make a special award for the most incompetent company in Wolverhampton. Something Fosun could win!

So Wolves are planning to target players who are sitting on the sidelines, not playing but want to go to the World Cup.


If they will come to Molineux could depend on how they feel about joining a club heading for the Championship and if they would be happy to have that on their cv's?
Wolves desperately need PL experienced players but who and what could be the cost plus would Fosun be prepared to spend the money or sell to buy as usual?

Raheem Sterling is effectively in the bomb squad at Chelsea, on full wages, and not a chance of even a place on the bench. Could we take him on loan and make a smallish contribution to his wages? Might help us and might help Chelsea.

He is training on his own at the moment but no reason why he couldn't train with us pending a loan going through in January.

Fair point Ed, I'm sure a move to Crystal Palace or West Ham might suit him, but beggers can't be choosers, nobody is coming in for him. If he started scoring for us it would resurrect his career and transfer value.

I agree ed, he currently gets over 300 grand a week to basically do nothing, he’s not going to come and slog it out at the bottom of the league when he can effectively sit on his backside and take home over a million quid each month

Here's how I think it will go.
They will start energetically but get nowhere and will start to get frustrated passing the ball sideways and backwards. The crowd will become more vociferous when they realise that they have paid good money to watch something akin to a pantomime performance and player confidence will evaporate.

Man Utd will recognise that we have fundamentally given up and will take control and begin scoring at will.
The fans will leave early. Last one out please switch off the lights.

Just reading that a lot attending tonight won't be taking their seats for the first 15mins. What that will achieve I'm not sure, but its hardly getting the lads fired up and involved, or helping RE in his challenge to the team to up the intensity is it.?
I'm in the strange mood of wondering wether to lie in bed with the radio on, or watch it just out of curiosity and fear of missing something.

I just can't bear watching more dross and the frustration I felt v Forest.
I expect I'll assume the latter option, but I'm just not enthused, if I thought we'd lose 10-4, ok, but as it stands I can only see a 6-0, offering nothing.
So depressing to even post that on here.

At a cost of £66 for the Man Utd Category A match for non season ticket holders in the BW stand, anyone who pays and then misses one sixth of the game is just donating money to Fosun.

Fosun have more money than all the fans combined and arriving 15 minutes late for the game will not alter their plans for the club.

Our game plan is pretty simple guys.

1: Refuse to play the ball over the top for Jackson to chase (which he'll easily get to).

2: Don't pass to Arias and then blame him for not doing anything.

3: Insist on giving the ball to Toti who will look to slow the play and pass backwards.

4: Send on Hwang to pass the ball to the opposition and run around like a headless chicken.

5: Give Arokodare 2 minutes at the end of the game to try and snatch a consolation goal but don't allow any of our players into the opposition penalty area.

6: Lose 3-0 and Edwards to come out and say 'We're in a bad situation but we're working hard'

This will be repeated again on Saturday.
