Has anyone spotted that Fosun have prepared a prospectus in order to sell 20% of WWFC?

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 14 Sep 2019 10:31:06
Where did you see this?

2.) 14 Sep 2019 11:19:47
Daily Mail today.

3.) 14 Sep 2019 12:26:18
I wouldn't believe anything the daily mail says mate.

4.) 14 Sep 2019 21:15:52
Be good if true, fresh investment.

5.) 15 Sep 2019 00:31:32
I think Big Jeff said they would be looking for additional investors at one of Fans Parliament meetings. So looks like they are making a move.

6.) 16 Sep 2019 12:43:46
Fosun will need serious funds to restructure Thomas Cook which will be more of a priority given what they’ve paid for it.
Although WWFC is stand alone all roads lead to Rome.
With a little more foresight perhaps investors should have been brought on board whilst the transfer window was open rather than when it was closed!
No blame can be attributed to Nuno and his tired players the problem lies at the top and their reluctance to ensure the squad is fit for purpose.
The higher you fly the more fuel is required, there is no destination in The Premier just a never ending journey that forever changes.

7.) 16 Sep 2019 12:55:56
P. s let's not forget we would wouldn’t be where we are without Fosun so thanks for getting us this far . forever grateful for the best team in WWFC history.

8.) 18 Sep 2019 21:25:24
Oxley mate it was Nuno and Thelwell who said they didn't require additional players.

9.) 22 Sep 2019 14:54:24
Beat team in WWFC history? My posterior!

01 Feb 2018 21:26:44
Really strange that Nuno has not made any comment at all on Benik Afobe loan.
Would have thought it here would have been some reaction on a so called marquee signing.

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 01 Feb 2018 23:57:17
he only talks on a friday before a game.

2.) 02 Feb 2018 09:34:24
He talks after a game as well .

3.) 02 Feb 2018 12:41:22
Been known to have a few words during a game as well Billy!

4.) 02 Feb 2018 14:01:09
He probably talks when he is at home . Wombourneron.

5.) 02 Feb 2018 15:20:10
Today I am a party pooper. Mr Afobe has not scored this season and has scored as many goals in 2 years as Grabban has scored in 4 months at struggling Sunderland. When Afobe signed last time he knew where the back of the net was, having scored a hatful on loan in Division 1. He brought confidence and swagger.

I rate him but at this time, 'to get us over the line', Grabban may have been the option. It will be tough for Afobe coming to our successful club, he will need to hit the ground running and may struggle for game time. Good luck to him but I am worried that he is not the short-term fix for us right now. In Nuno I trust.

6.) 02 Feb 2018 15:45:56
To be honest I don't think that will be the case mate. I think afobe suits òur style of play more than bournemouth. He's similar to bonatini but with a bit more pace and a better finisher. Bournemouth like there strikers to get in behind the defender. Afobe isn't that player. He likes to come deep and link up play he done it all the time when he played for us and you could tell he come from arsenal.

Josh king and Wilson are similar sorts of players and completely opposite to afobe. Put Andy Carroll in a man city side and watch him struggle, put him in a pulis side and watch him shine. You see it all the time with strikers they need the right service for them to succeed and score goals. If man city suddenly started to play long balls into the box, aguero would hit a goal drought.

I'm confident afobe will hit the ground running and I'd be shocked if he didn't get between 8-10 goals before the end of the season.

7.) 02 Feb 2018 17:42:28
Bang on mate.

8.) 02 Feb 2018 17:50:50
I hope you're right DTM. The Bournemouth press reckon he's needed a 2nd touch this season which to me is a confidence thing. A big sigh of relief from all of us when he comes off the bench tomorrow and put's one away.

9.) 02 Feb 2018 19:59:01
steve bull first touch was allfull but his second the back if the net.

{Ed033's Note - all full of what?

10.) 02 Feb 2018 20:48:15
Some of you are never grateful.

11.) 02 Feb 2018 21:14:58
Didn't Afobe score against Stoke in the league and Middlesbrough in the cup?

12.) 02 Feb 2018 22:42:28
Just listened to Nuno and he is so laid back sure he said nothing exciting about Afobe but he stressed the work ethic needed to get a place in the team and the reason for signing him he says Sheffield isn't about revenge it's about winning as against any team yeah so he is not singling out anyone he never does and won't do that with Afobe.

13.) 03 Feb 2018 08:10:53
Patience. I truly believe this will help all the players in an attacking sense. It takes the pressure from them (Jota, bonatini and Costa) with the addition of Afobe with swagger then it could be interesting. There are many games where I have thought Afobe could do something in games this season. Either hold the ball up, run at a defender or play a team mate in. Let’s hope he can and everyone can benefit from it!

14.) 03 Feb 2018 09:36:40
He will probably come on for the last 20 minutes, if Nuno thinks he's fit enough (I watched that interview too) . Although I wonder if Nuno will play him and Leo at the same time. We need Jota and Costa or Cav to work from the sides of the box, and the 343 structure is pretty set in stone. Exciting!

15.) 03 Feb 2018 14:29:43
I think afobe will thrive with the quality players he has around him, he has the extra pace and power we need, he could have been the difference in those 0-0 draws ageist Barnsley and Sunderland etc 👍.

Immediate Vacancies for two strikers, one midfielder and full back please apply before 7.00 pm to WWFC Europe.
Must be able to speak Portuguese or Spanish.

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 31 Aug 2017 11:44:34
Saying man utd youngster on his way loan deal tominay is his name.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 11:49:03
Oxleymoorwolf,
Striker did you say? I recommend Arthur Scargill. He doesn't speak English but he does speak rubbish and gibberish. Wages could be a problem and he might withdraw his labour during a match.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 11:52:11
That name was knocking round on here lastnight.

4.) 31 Aug 2017 12:08:33
Gayle. Gayle. Gayle.

5.) 31 Aug 2017 13:49:27
At least Ulf isn't here saying Afobe.

6.) 31 Aug 2017 14:04:04
Deep throat. Not a good idea because the police will just ride onto the pitch and beat him up.

30 Aug 2017 18:15:24
Wolves have suddenly become favourites to sign big Vincent Aboukakar.

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 30 Aug 2017 18:38:45
Would be the purchase of the season, hope this happens.

{Ed047's Note - Don't hold your breath the original source it came from is not the most reliable of sources buddy}.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 19:47:48
Dont think so the player him self has said he wants to join Marseille.

3.) 30 Aug 2017 20:51:35
He is 6/ 4 to join wolves. 8/ 1 to join mairselle. Make you're own mind up.

{Ed047's Note - Odds are irreverent buddy if bookies receive a sustained amount of bets on an event they simply just lower the odds and in turn people assume that something will happen, the bookies never loose buddy}.

4.) 30 Aug 2017 21:35:05
Get you're money on mairselle then.!

{Ed047's Note - lmfao}.

24 May 2017 12:08:09
Nuno Santos sorry.

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 24 May 2017 13:12:37
Reading a report from Clarence Seedorf who said he is open to taking his first management job in England and wouldn't rule out a "project" in the championship. maybe another name in the very big hat?!

2.) 24 May 2017 16:06:18
Big hat but poor pedigree as a manager Milan lasted 4 months and then a Chinese club which lasted a season before being moved out. Great football players do not automatically make good Managers unfortunately.

3.) 24 May 2017 16:21:06
I would be quite happy wit Santo till Christmas and then see how things are going.

4.) 24 May 2017 18:37:33
The way things are going I would be quite happy With Santa till Christmas Hednesford!

5.) 24 May 2017 18:39:18
Hednesford we can only have santo until Xmas anyway as he will then need to go and drop off all the presents!

27 Dec 2018 16:59:00
Benik Afobe back from loan in January, any thoughts?

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 27 Dec 2018 17:13:07
No thanks, he isn't consistently included in a struggling Stoke starting 11.

2.) 27 Dec 2018 17:14:17
Hasnt been great at stoke although still scored a few but he'd be perfect partner for Jimenez in the two up top we've been playing.

3.) 27 Dec 2018 17:16:03
No he isn't. The deal is for Afobe to be loaned until January and for Stoke to purchase him for £12m. It had to be a loan 1st as players are not allowed to sign for 2 clubs in one transfer window.

4.) 27 Dec 2018 18:30:06
No get over Afobe he isn't good enough.

5.) 27 Dec 2018 20:44:28
He can't come back people unless WE sign him from Stoke. Stoke have to buy him as agreed.

6.) 27 Dec 2018 21:14:52
Even then, we would have to take him on loan from Stoke. The deal becomes permanent on 1st January 2019.

7.) 28 Dec 2018 15:10:33
Afobe over Bonatini yes, but neither are fit to lace Jimenez's boots, unfortunately. We must seek out a decent striker as cover for Raul.

8.) 28 Dec 2018 15:37:17
Why are people talking about Afobe. He can't play for us again unless we sign him from Stoke.

9.) 28 Dec 2018 20:51:29
Here’s a thought NO!

10.) 28 Dec 2018 22:55:19
If we had a striker problem then shove him on the bench but apart from Jota we are fully fit. He won't likely play for Wolves again although we said that about Clarke!

07 May 2018 19:48:58
Anyone see big Wily Boly or Bonatini today?

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 07 May 2018 20:41:03
I reckon both are gone for next season. Bonatini has done us proud but would fall short for Premier League. Mrs Boly obviously wears the trousers!

2.) 07 May 2018 21:13:29
Boly said he wants to stay but it is up to Nuno. I guess Nuno has not told the loaned players his decision yet and Willy is not making any assumptions.

3.) 08 May 2018 10:02:21
Saw Willy Boly but not Leo.
Can only speculate where he is - probably on a beach somewhere.

25 Feb 2018 14:28:00
Squeaky Bum Time?!
Team vs Reading in my opinion:

Noriris

Boly
Batth
Bennet

Docherty
Coady
N'Diaye
Douglas

Cavaleiro
Adobe
Jota

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 25 Feb 2018 15:02:44
P. s
Norris
Afobe.

2.) 25 Feb 2018 15:58:07
No time to panic, we had an off-day, end of! I would keep faith with yesterday's team but I would start MGW instead of Bonatini and play Cav at C/F with MGW on the right. Cometh the hour and MGW can be the main man!

3.) 25 Feb 2018 16:11:05
Sorry I meant start with Jota, not Costa. Anyway In Nuno We Trust!

01 Sep 2017 12:49:27
TOTALLY uninspiring transfer window caused by really bad planning.
Edwards a much better player than cast off
N'Diaye. I bet Nouah is killing himself laughing he has got himself the best deal.
The Jordan Graham deal will also come back to haunt us, I think mid table best.

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 01 Sep 2017 15:04:45
Don't be so negative Neves, Boly, Jota great signings it's all great. UTW.

2.) 01 Sep 2017 15:42:13
Why all the negativity from some posters, why don't you all go and support burton albion where moxey is, cause you all seem to be knocking Fosun but you all forget about the dark days on transfer deadline day under the 2 m's.
Yes we're all disappointed at not recruiting a striker but we have enough attacking forward thinking players at the club who will contribute goals.
As for dicko who you say will be laughing, the only people laughing are Wolves, £3.5million for a forward with a poor goal scoring record since his injury behave.
I for one have complete faith in Nuno and Fosun, if we can be in the top 6 come January you will see Fosun splash the cash.
Please no more negative posts, what's done is done, trust in Fosun or vote for the 2 m's to crawl back, Your Choice ladies and Gents.

GodBless Wolves, GodBless Fosun. 🙏🙏🙏.

3.) 01 Sep 2017 15:43:41
Really mate come on if Bonatini continues at a ratio of just 2 goals in 5 games he'll end up on about 18 goals. If Cav Costa Jota all get around 8 to 10 each your talking about 40 to 50 goals between them 4. Then you've got the rest of them chipping in with another say 25 to 35 goals then you've got anything between 65 to 85 goals and if the defence can continue to keep clean sheets at a ratio of 3 out 5 games then we'll be champions by March keep the faith boys. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

28 Aug 2017 10:31:36
Today I see Wolves are second favourites to sign Burnley's Ashley Barnes.
29 goals in 150 appearances! . surely not!
Quality striker please!

Oxleymoorwolf

1.) 28 Aug 2017 10:48:24
It's those fools at HITC again they are actually worse than Paul Daniels on transfer predictions.

2.) 28 Aug 2017 10:54:53
No disrespect and your'e only passing on what you've seen, but there must be a reason they bought Chris Woods in place of him.

3.) 28 Aug 2017 11:25:40
With all this speculation that WW are about to sign a British striker, Ashley Barnes, Jordan Rhodes or Hugill, I just can't see it myself. The work that Nuno has done has been to change the style and introduce "on the floor" football. Hardly the style of the traditional British striker and he's not going to change the way he believes the game should be played. I expect that in the next couple of days we will see one if not two continental strikers; mobile, skillful players rather than burly battering rams; arrive as well as a midfielder, Palhinha. Probably on initial loans, to me that would be a lot more logical, and help to circumvent FFP.

4.) 28 Aug 2017 12:01:38
Gets my vote walloby really hope you're right in our assumptions 👍.

P. s Abraham 5/ 2 (despite him stating he's staying at Villa)
Origi 5/ 1 (despite Klopp stating he's not for sale)
Ibrahimovic 20/ 1 (despite him stating he's happy in America)
Just sums up Wolves' chance of signing Costa at 25/ 1!

Agree PT it's definitely not all bad, would have settled for average of 2 pts per game at this stage.
I personally think that zonal marking works but only if you have the players with the tactical awareness to implement it which we don't have with the exception of Wily Boly
Let's also be mindful that after all it was 11 men against 10 for 70 mins so I don't understand what Wilder is crowing about.
Bring on Burton and let's get back on track UTW!
