Any news on appointment of new back room staff?
.the quality in that area was crucial in Nuno's success in my opinion.
1.) 17 Dec 2024 19:42:17
Vitor is rumoured to be bringing his own backroom team.
2.) 18 Dec 2024 09:43:01
Agreed Oxleymoorwolf and they concentrated on fitness with us having such a small squad. Let’s hope VP has staff just as good!
13 Dec 2024 10:46:35
The rumour is Rob Edwards is under consideration as next Manager.
Surely not!.how very underwhelming he's a Championship PE Manager at best.
Please NO!
1.) 13 Dec 2024 16:39:30
Even talking about Steve Cooper now! Think they have a death wish. Unless he can play centre half of course, what a circus .
2.) 14 Dec 2024 11:54:09
Both have got a championship promotion on their CV. Maybe that tells us all we need to know.
03 Sep 2024 12:27:10
Looks like West Ham have stolen the march on free transfer Joel Matip.
1.) 03 Sep 2024 13:15:33
Was we ever in for him for West Ham to steel a march on wolves
2.) 03 Sep 2024 13:23:06
Never mentioned Wolves Wolvo1963 just a generic comment.
28 Aug 2024 18:32:51
Please NO Dedonker say it's not true!
1.) 28 Aug 2024 21:19:11
Agree that would be a big step backwards. Surely in the Championship or even lower there must be a centre half that can defend crosses.
2.) 29 Aug 2024 02:18:56
Ray do you watch the wolves?
Donk played at the back whilst Boly was injured arguably one of of best cbs read the game well and took us to the European qf.
In midfield he looked lost and was deployed like a box to box midfielder which he wasnt.
He would be a good player to have in the squad as he has high standards when he was here before and he always gave his all which is all any fan can expect.
Also he keeps getting in the Belgium squad and he has played European football since wolves so he isn't as hopeless as you think.
3.) 29 Aug 2024 20:35:08
I'm not knocking Dendonker Madman, I just think he was the past and there is no going back. I thought the same with Doc and I don't think he is the player he was. It would help if we made our mind up whether we are back 4 or 5.
28 Aug 2024 15:46:21
Does anyone know the current status of Fabio Silva? All seems to have gone quiet.
1.) 28 Aug 2024 16:15:51
Yeah he's still rubbish and massively over paid! ?
Joking aside Oxley I suspect the wage will be the problem, teams have been tied with him then likely run a mile when they hear how much we were crazy enough to give him! ?
2.) 28 Aug 2024 18:24:30
Bully's, how could you? That's a generational talent you are so dismissive of!??

"I took to the project, and I believe in it a lot. I will do everything for the fans."

Let's give full marks to the lads for maximum effort though couldn't have give more today!
???
19 Feb 2025 06:48:54
It's worrying that there has been no news on Agbadou, does anyone have any update?
1.) 19 Feb 2025 09:53:20
Hamstring, out for a couple of weeks is all I've heard.
16 Feb 2025 15:02:31
Doherty and Sarabia .really?
1.) 16 Feb 2025 16:08:18
Let's remember we were against the league leaders away, Liverpool had 1 attempt at goal, got two fluke goals. We put in a performance, if only we were more decisive in front of goal.
I query the first pen aswell, he'd already played the ball. Liverpool should have been down to 10 and the ref gave us very little. Cunhas goal was the highlight but we need better quicker finishing.
2.) 16 Feb 2025 16:39:24
Very well put Abbeywolf, my views exactly. Very disappointed with Jota. He clearly dived and should have been booked despite Hooper deciding to award a drop ball. Ex ref Hackett agrees it should have been a yellow.
3.) 16 Feb 2025 17:23:45
A missed opportunity no doubt, Liverpool weren't great were they?
However, a bit of home team refereeing can make all the difference. We've all berated VAR with good cause but even they couldn't botch that decision, it literally was a blatant dive so should have been a yellow.
In fact it was so blatant that it's hard to see how the ref gave it in the first place. Unless he wasn't sure and gave it knowing VAR would check it. Either way it was a yellow card for Jota, who's gone from hero to zero for me.
4.) 16 Feb 2025 19:42:35
I think I'm right when I say we'd had two players and Vitor booked by Homer Hooper before he realised he was supposed to be supervising and disciplining both teams. It was a very poor performance from him. We in the end got nothing sadly apart from lots of nice words from a lot of people. With a bit more composure we could have quite easily taken three points. Vitor after the game went on about how he wanted us to play for the full game like we played the second half which to be honest was just a load of bull from him. We played on the front foot in the second half because of the subs coming on and with that set up we could play a more attacking game. Anyway on to Bournemouth next week and I hope we challenge them for all the 90 minutes! COYW
5.) 16 Feb 2025 22:52:39
No it wasn’t a load of bull. We didn’t play for the first 30 mins…
6.) 17 Feb 2025 07:08:56
You're absolutely right there Ken because we went from a team of nine, with those passengers Guedes and Sarabia absent with leave, to one of eleven fighting for the cause although Munetsi does need to revise on the offside rule.
01 Feb 2025 16:44:32
Bellegarde and Sarabia, really!?.please NO!
1.) 01 Feb 2025 17:05:04
What a chance we've got to get out the bottom three
Then I saw bellegarde starts
What the xxxx is he thinking
Can't believe it
2.) 01 Feb 2025 17:15:48
Bellegarde REALLY! Come on the ten men?
3.) 01 Feb 2025 18:16:56
How's that humble pie tasting Ray?
4.) 01 Feb 2025 19:34:54
Tastes good in the circumstances, still not my favourite though. As far as Wolves are concerned very happy today to eat my piece of pie, custard on mine!

A bit like Danso Wandering?
26 Jan 2025 17:35:50
…an insult and affront to all loyal supporters!
26 Jan 2025 17:34:23
What player with any ambition would want to sign for a Championship bound club with no leadership and negative mentality.
Back to where we were before Nuno possibly a worse position…complete disinterest from owners
09 Nov 2024 14:13:23
Please not Sarabia!
05 Nov 2024 10:17:02
What decent Manager would want to join this circus?…it’s absolutely farcical!

01 Mar 2025 19:27:39
Cunha is either very clever or very stupid!?
01 Mar 2025 18:55:34
Financially and status wise that Cunha action could potentially cost us infinitely more than his buy out clause!
29 Jan 2025 18:27:15
Agree Joe Wilson and certainly Clampy (England Inernational) were great hard players.
Never saw Clamp play though!
29 Jan 2025 13:16:53
Absolutely spot on Longmynd!
28 Jan 2025 18:27:57
Agreed Redzoton, wouldn’t it be a good idea to try and sign players that WANT to sign for us rather than those who definitively DON’T
(A la Denso)only to yet again fail to sign anybody on transfer day deadline day.
Is this now a normal machiavellian tactic by Fosun who are just going through the motions to appease supporters and VP.
