Seen rumours, tomorrow we are playing with JSL up front in a 541 formation. Back 5 of Wolfe, Toti, Agbadou, Mosquera, Jackson, then Andre, Joao, Krejci, Bellegarde.
What are people’s thoughts on this, if true?

Well the line ups are out. If I was Emery, my instructions would be simple. Put Toti under pressure as he is the one who will 100% make a mistake and force his fellow defenders out of position.
This will be an easy 4-0 win for Villa.

Rob Edwards now 1/5, seems likely, don’t think bookies are normally this much out. Refreshing to hear we may have 3 academy players on the bench for Chelsea, long overdue young players actually getting into the team. Everyone will get behind Edwards if it does happen.

A lot of us on here have predicted this would eventually happen, unfortunately it is now looking even worse than I had expected.
With the players that we have available I would like to see us at least try a 4231 formation.
Something like, Johnstone, Bueno, Agbadou, Krejci, Jackson or Doc, Joao (Bellegarde, next game) Andre, Mane, Arias, I guess Munetsi as no alternative really and then JSL or Tolu.
If we had Doyle or Traore it would help as many said in the summer we should not have let these players leave without suitable replacements.
We are in a complete mess, no attacking quality, lot to ask of Mane but no other choice.
What does everyone think?

I've given up on thinking of who where etc Banksy, because on that showing last night it just dosnt matter. I've lost interest.
I'll watch the games that I can, , I'll listen to the commentary, but it's merely curiosity now.
I have no hope or excitement in this squad of players. They don't look as if they care, so why should I?
It's the shirt and club that matters to me, but all hope this year is wasted.
Sad day that I couldn't ever envisage, but I don't actually care what happens now, we're down, possibly the worst top flight club since 1902 I read, and Fosun fiddlewhile we burn.

Have to agree Abbeywolf and I understand your feelings and frustrations. We have Jeff and Fosun to thank for our dire situation and lack of interest. I am away working next week, would normally find somewhere to watch the match, not going to bother this time, get cheesed off feeling more depressed having watched us play. A sorry state indeed.

I don't believe it for a second Banksy mate, he's one of the ONLY players with ANY techical ability in the squad and when we signed him most Spanish fans were shocked we got him! If he's going it'll be with a fee agreed and more likely because he feels like he's been completely misold the entire deal! He will be a quality player one day and likely is worried that the absolute joke of a club that we are is going to tarnish hsi chances in the future! Rant not quite done. Our attacking players at the moment are JSL, Arias and Hwang. Compare this to players we have had in the past, Neto, Jota, Cunha, Jimenez, Adama, Neves even RAN, think that explains the problem. We don’t have a player that can create or beat players, just amazing how badly the club is being run, well destroyed

Some of us expressed concerns on numerous occasions over the past two, three, four or five seasons, happy clappers and die hards ridiculed us, needless to say we were right, you were wrong, wrong to believe Fosun wanted the same as we do, wrong to believe players being signed were PL standard and wrong to back Fosun, this situation hasn't happened overnight it's been coming since we walked away from Wembley Stadium back in 2019, six years to realise it was hope and not expectation that keeps you paying the ever increasing season ticket prices, even this season Fosun still see fit to sell tickets at category 'A' prices, these people are so detached from fans, football and the real World it takes some believing.

What was that I watched last night, terrible game with 2 terrible teams. I really thought we had turned a corner and would have won last night. Don’t know what to say anymore, feel sorry for the fans that have to pay anything to watch it. Whole team just awful, forgot JSL was on the pitch, thought it couldn’t get any worse then enter Hwang.
Within a few seconds of him coming on he allowed player all time in world to cross, not sure what Johnstone was doing, and 1-0.
Whether Mane is old enough or not he has to start games, what is about passing sideways and backwards all the time. Arsenal away could be double figures, I give up, have to calm down now.

That first half was diabolical, what happened to confidence increasing from performance v Villa, lucky we are still 0-0. Big improvement required 2nd half, hope Rob can work som magic. Sorry if this has already been posted however I do need to say that at eighty one years of age and following the Wolves for 75 years that is the most diabolical performance. I have ever watched from the Wolves team. I walk my dog every day for a couple of hours, and I do it with more energy and enthusiasm than any of the starting 11 player produced this evening.
I believe we would not even win the national league with this team. Let’s forget about the new coaches what we need is a double-decker bus to take them to the nearest airport and even pay them for a one-way ticket -I feel better for saying that??- time for the Horlicks??

I agree Moby, really hope tonight is our first win.
As always team selection will be interesting, given the much improved performance v Villa I don’t think Rob will make many changes. We have to utilise our wing backs more in attack, more crosses into the box.
Potential changes, maybe are Bueno for Wolfe and maybe someone for Arias, however not sure Munetsi is the answer. Please let us at least score ??

Would like to say they won’t allow Joao to leave unless there is absolutely no chance of us staying up. Then again, with our club at the moment anything is possible. Think they have to at least give Rob a chance before arranging further sales, in Jeff and Fosun we don’t trust.
Remainder of the season will be even more depressing if they just give up now.
