Sky saying spurs still interested in adama but we've put £50m tag on him. It'll be interesting right up to 11 tonight.

1.) 31 Aug 2021 11:02:57
Jeff is rightly playing hardball with Daniel Levy. £50mil paid up-front, for Traore, take it or leave it. No try-before-you-buy stuff.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 11:05:45
I’ve also seen a report suggesting a late bid by Spurs for Neves. I hope this doesn’t come to fruition.

{Ed002's Note - Ruben Neves (DM/CM) Wolves would look to get as close to €50M as they can should circumstances dictate Neves is sold, but they certainly don't want to sell and have made clear that he has a long-term contract and there have been no approaches at this time. Mr Mourinho is a huge fan and has tried to take him to three different clubs in the past - and he would, I am sure be interested in taking him to Roma but their focus right now iselsewhere. He has always been seen as an option to replace Matic at Manchester United, but they have other priorities to deal with first and preferred options - although they are not working out well so Wolves might see an offer. His agent has been actively offering him around and has spoken with Juventus who are looking to offload players but none that I would expect Wolves to be interested in. The Spurs coach would like him as an upgrade to Sissoko and Ndombele but it is likely both would need to leave as they are looking at another addition in midfield as well. Arsenal have preferred options but his agent is keen to have him move on so they cannot be discounted - although failing to sell Xhaka will likely take them out of the picture.}

3.) 31 Aug 2021 12:49:53
Wolves won't sell Neves with 3 years left on his contract.

{Ed077's Note - we will know for sure in a few hours I guess

04 Jul 2021 10:29:06
So trincao joins us on loan from barca. A 21 Yr old with 6 Portuguese caps and a winger. Do assume that adama definitely going be it at a undervalued fee?

1.) 04 Jul 2021 11:47:20
Trincao at 21, played 28 La Liga matches, scored 3 goals, with 2 assists and played 7 UEFA Champions League games for Barcelona.
As well as the 6 full internationals.
Another Neto-type player, which is good for us.
Traore still has 2 years to go on his contract, so I believe he will leave only if Lage decides he is not a good fit for his way of playing.

2.) 04 Jul 2021 15:19:56
Trincao was being talked about as a wonder kid a year or so ago and we've just signed him with a future fee agreed! It's odd because the theme on here from many has been that Fosun are asset stripping and next stop on the track is relegation?! People talking about the players we MAY lose, yet here we are three players signed and still none sold?! It would seem that Fosun can't even do a fire sale correctly eh?! 😝 Could it be that they are in fact trying to improve the club, as I said yesterday these conspiracies are laughable really! 🤣.

3.) 04 Jul 2021 17:30:18
Well BULLYS, comings and going’s there will be. Some people are born doom and gloomers because that is how they like to view life or have closed minds like a cabbage. Others accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative. Fosun are shrewd investors who were hampered by the C.V. and as a Wolves fan I and many remain squarely behind Fosun until proven wrong. Bruno must be given a fair chance while he assembles his chosen squad, hopefully with more players capable of slotting seamlessly from bench, as and when.

4.) 04 Jul 2021 23:36:47
Just watched some show reels of Trincao. If he produces that level every week, we are in for a very special player.

5.) 05 Jul 2021 10:11:14
Jas he certainty looks a super player! When you think he went from a small club like Braga (no disrespect to them by the way just capacity wise) to 100,000 plus at Barca. Its a massive jump for a young player. I think for the money we with luck are getting a player as good as Pedro. Here's hoping he settles well and does it for us!

6.) 05 Jul 2021 19:39:38
I have looked at footage of him too Jas looks good excellent first touch and has quick feet.

Everyone is different and has different feelings towards fosun and wolves but for like minded fans it's great being a wolves fan.

7.) 05 Jul 2021 22:39:34
Trincao is a fantastic talent - who Barcelona didn't really want to get rid of but they are in so much financial trouble and struggling to offload Coutinho, Griezmann, Ousman Dembele etc. for anything like the money they paid for them and want/ need so are having to accept reasonable offers for their very talented youngsters.
I know Alena wants to stay and fight for his place but a deal for him may not be dead if Barcelona can't offload other players they may force him to go and as much as he currently wants to stay that may not mean he wouldn't want to come to us if he was forced to leave so I wouldn't view it as a negative if we do sign him (he's another great talent) .

{Ed002's Note - That is nonsense.}

Went to bed about 10 last night in the hope I'd wake up this morning with surprise news. What do I find? That the club have not strengthened or indeed reinforced our squad but simply weakened it.
The suggested recognition of needing 3/ 4 players to give Bruno what he needed now empty words, yes adama and ruben are still with us but to what end? How will Bruno be feeling? Betrayed? because that's how I feel. I know they'll say we tried this we tried that, but they obviously didn't try hard enough. £12m on Moore would have given us something different at the end of the day. Thank you whoever for stripping my trust and optimism in our wonderful club.

1.) 01 Sep 2021 06:23:14
Agree with all you say Abbey. we can learn from Leicester I hope.

2.) 01 Sep 2021 06:39:41
Very sad reading all the disgruntled posts from last night and rightly so imo to be disappointed.

Results now will be key in the next 4 months to get the fans back onside.
There will be sell out crowds for all games so the support is there.

If we had played rubbish in the first 3 games I could understand the posts who suggest relegation but I think opposite.
There surely will be a statement from the club as to why our targets wasn't signed which hopefully will give fans some comfort.
With everything fosun have done for our great club If there is mistakes made I'm sure they will put it right.
Nice to see you post last night Jas with your informative info brill.
Abbey chin up mate.
The owners the managers the players come and go but the fans always remain.
So we just get on with it.
We have what we have now more than enough to carry on competing till January.

3.) 01 Sep 2021 06:48:35
To let MGW go out on loan without a replacement is criminal. Saw we slapped a last minute recall option for January, stinks of poor planning.

We were 1 first team quality cm from having a reasonable window, cb would have been nice but I think we can make do there. They've had all window to identify targets, there should have been 10 players on that list and even if it took getting the 10th we should have got someone.

We definitely dodged a bullet with Moore! Sorry Abby I disagree £12m is really poor money for someone that really doesn't improve the squad.

To go into a Premier league season with 3 fit CMs and Jordao who will probably go out on loan in Jan is an embarrassment.

I wonder how Bruno feels!

4.) 01 Sep 2021 06:50:43
Phil mate your right. but the passion was back, the excitement was back and the anticipation was back. Everything was looking roset then were let down in the building process and it seems abit same old again. A few points on the table with a few goals and I'll be happy. I keep forgetting we've got this hwang hu to see yet.

5.) 01 Sep 2021 07:00:01
I’ve backed Fosun and had complete trust in them but how do we not have the money to cover the 3/ 4 players we need that is the worst transfer window we’ve had since they took over I can’t defend that they have surely made a profit this window not net spent anything I just don’t understand how we haven’t got money to spend.

6.) 01 Sep 2021 07:00:24
I understand Abbey knew years ago from your posts you have the old gold running through your veins.
The Watford game can't come soon enough.

7.) 01 Sep 2021 07:07:16
My mate text me last night saying we had signed 2 far Eastern players a winger and a striker,
Yowbangumover &

8.) 01 Sep 2021 07:11:59
Matt wolf I said earlier yesterday 12mn was ridiculous, it was abit tongue in cheek saying spending it would give us something different, more sort of anybody would have given us more (no pun) than nobody.

9.) 01 Sep 2021 07:13:11
Woke up this morning hoping for some good news, but same feeling as last 3 or 4 windows, very disappointing once again.

10.) 01 Sep 2021 07:50:40
Could have been a lot worse if Traore or Neves had been an eleventh hour snatch away, because money alone may not have been enough to get one or two replacement targets.
It is onward and upward with support and some LUCK, which we hope will change very soon . COYW.

11.) 01 Sep 2021 08:21:49
All is not lost, we have played well and I expect it to stay that way, Bruno has a dream!
lets move on from a disappointed transfer window, we have a good squad with International players who supposedly to leave, they are still here, so our worst fears have not come true which is a big bonus.
I have put money on Wolves finishing in the European spots for next season.

31 Aug 2021 19:16:32
Didn't I say? Sky reporting us talking with Cardiff re Moore.

1.) 31 Aug 2021 19:21:29
Oh Nooooo!

2.) 31 Aug 2021 19:27:24
Also Baboucar Kamara from Marseille - a DM who also plays CB.

{Ed002's Note - Boubacar Kamara (CB/DM) Marseille did not want to sell and interest from long-time PSG will obviously go nowhere. However, at the right price (it was €60M including all costs but will now be half of that) he would be available in the summer - Barcelona would like him but not at that cost. Chelsea and Manchester City both maintain an interest, but nothing is happening. An unusual offer was made during the summer but Chelsea resisted to see what happens with emerging players available to them. Manchester City have been in regular contact with Marseille and looked for an early conclusion but nothing could be done. Newcastle offer an unattractive stepping stone option. MIlan and Lyon will likely not have the funds to make an offer as they have other priorities to deal with first. There is still interest from Barcelona who want the player and a member of Marseille's staff to join them - but game time is an issue so that is very unlikely. Milan asked after him when discussing another player and Bayern Munich have him on their list as a Jerome Boateng replacement. Sevilla want a Kounde replacement agreed and will pay the l’OM asking price, but the player wants more than being just a CB and needs convincing. Juventus are looking to add a DM player and they need to lower the age of their squad. He is attractive to clubs as he can comfortably play as a CB or a DM. Wolves have an interest and have told Marseille they can meet their demands but would need to persuade the player who ideally wants Champions League. Ideally Marseille want to sell Duje Caleta-Car instead but that is proving to be a problem. Kamera's attitude and not signing a new contract are putting clubs off. The lady from Marseille would ideally like a deal with Chelsea, but their efforts are elsewhere right now.}

25 Aug 2021 22:30:06
Had to be. Home v spurs next round of carabao Cup.

1.) 25 Aug 2021 23:29:57
Easy game as Nuno won’t want to be in the Carabao cup as he concentrates on keeping Spurs up.
Will be full house at Molineux.

2.) 26 Aug 2021 05:37:42
Confident we will beat spurs,

Man City always always have the easiest draw.

3.) 26 Aug 2021 09:55:07
Well done wolves women beating baggies 2-0 last night.

26 Jul 2021 20:26:33
A new hero is about to emerge in mosquiro. If he can perform like he did tonight in the prem we've hit the jackpot. RAN also is showing great promise. Seiss did a great job marshaling the back line. Marcel quiet and reliable. Fabio as grown immensely and has a confidence about him now as part of the pack. MGW I thought was also up to pace and looking good. In Sa we've got a dominance in the box and he looks quick with a good kick. Neves and moutininho are more forward minded. 3--2 defeat but an excellent run out and Bruno seems to have them running. Looking forward to the weekend and see how mosquiro handles the english game.

1.) 26 Jul 2021 22:44:45
Mosquero looks like he is going to be some player.
Has he any mates at Athletico Nationale who can come and join The pack?

2.) 27 Jul 2021 16:34:19
Mosquiro certainly needs some patience at times and he has a poor disciplinary record. The interesting aspect of Brunos style is the centre backs. Big Will is becoming injury prone, seiss is showing spirit in that position but maybe not enough command, kilmann is hot and cold. Where does coady fit in, will we sign a centre? Mosquiro has the presence speed and distribution but not experience. Certainly Sa is going to expect protection. Upfront can we rely solely on jiminez? While fabio as improved greatly he's still a youngster, cutrone will be off I think and that leaves us light. We havnt actually created many chances from our front two in these friendlies. So a CB and CF and an aggressive forward pushing CMF would be desirable. The styles faster the field more spacial and all looks good but we need these tweaks I feel. Thoughts?

3.) 27 Jul 2021 17:02:37
Cutrone seemed a lot more happier last night I thought, maybe Bruno has had a chat with him and told him he believes in him?
Mosquiro looks the real deal sorts out his discipline we've bagged potential a signing of the year there.
Silva is getting better, as for Coady I think he'll do well in cm his natural role offering that protection to the back 4 and if Neves stays it'll enable Neves to get more forward too.

4.) 27 Jul 2021 17:22:41
Abbey wolf- the three positions you mention are what we’ve been missing for quite a while. A dynamic midfield player is a priority and a decent striker, if Jimenez gets injured again we don’t want to be in the same situation as last season, there doesn’t seem to be any interest in Toney of Brentford or Armstrong of Blackburn we don’t look to the championship for players. Tammy Abraham is up for sale though he’ll probably go to a London club, let’s push the boat out and make a marquee signing no more wingers please!

5.) 27 Jul 2021 19:58:56
Yea exactly taff52, we've known it but why havnt fosun/ nuno/ bruno ever done anything? Sellars must be aware of it. Are we waiting for the transfer merry go round? I don't think we'll know our 21/ 22 squad until late August.

6.) 27 Jul 2021 21:11:22
It looks that way Abbeywolf let’s hope it’s a good one with a surprise or 2 👍.

15 Jul 2021 12:32:13
What's the opinions on the new kit? What is £45 better with the pro shirt ( or are £55 shirts £45 worse? ) .

1.) 15 Jul 2021 14:36:25
I like it! Love the shorts, but doubt I’ll pay £100 for the pro top!

2.) 15 Jul 2021 14:40:03
Perhaps I read this wrong but the replica shirts are £55 and authentic £100,? Seems we're the dearest by a mile if I haven't mistaken this. Apols if I have.

3.) 15 Jul 2021 15:20:06
I'm wondering what quality the £55 is. Apparently rangers fans had the same options last year. So far as my can spot is what looks like sweat vents under armpits on the £100. I'm not personally minding the colour but it does look rather 'basic' in comparison to adidas.

4.) 15 Jul 2021 21:13:32
I've also noticed that the pro shirt (£100) has the 8 dots on either side of the sponsor but the £55 one doesn't.

5.) 16 Jul 2021 07:45:25
The pro shirts will be lighter in weight too I'd think.
Different material.
Good thing is the club get all of the money with this agreement as opposed to a portion with adidas.

6.) 16 Jul 2021 11:50:39
I'm liking the look of the leaked away shirts, and the grey with what looks like gold flecked 3rd appear different from the norm for us.

Everyone as a shelf life tho, Patricio was a dream signing but perhaps age creeps up, I think we'd all agree some aspects were slowing down. I'll never forget his performance in the Asian Cup against man c. Cut head played on and then the penalty saves. Whoever takes the gloves will have a big job on their hands.

Tfig I know how these things are, I don't know if you saw my post to you from a while ago but I and went through a period when I tried to manage it all and found myself reliant on alcohol, I'm out of it now and teetotal but it nearly killed me. Please don't over do it or be too proud to ask for help. It's not failing its being sensible. I've just had 3rd jab due to other conditions, very quick I know but the surgery had pfeiser they needed to use fast. Last year watching wolves on every media I could kept me going and I hope it brings some relief to you too. Back to MGW, I was baffled when they let him go on loan but can now see how he'll benefit us because of it. We've been looking the threat and now it's down to putting it in the net. Hwang looks the poacher in the box we've been missing and if jiminez traore trincao can find form well be flying. Looking forward to Brentford and the next adventure. Take care tfig and COYW.

Watched abit of u23 3-2 over Exeter last night, there's a lot of promise in those lads. Cundle firkin conner for example, great vision and skills. The futures bright.

Phil when I look at Perry and cundle as you point out sanderson and MGW more to the point Kilman we're creating players who can and will progress. Loaning out will help the development but you can't always throw youngsters into a prem situation. I personally don't like weakened teams for cup games. It's OK if you've got the talent on your books otherwise warming seats for big bucks but if lower div teams draw a big club their fans deserve to see the players, and pit themselves against the best. Or flip the coin and teams who've played with weakened teams have to stick with their choice all the way and not present 1st choices in semi and final. That's me and I know there are many reasons why they don't or won't. I think it demeans our domestic trophies and the achievement of winning them.

Podence is a little nugget of a player, bring him on and the opposition don't know what to expect. I just hope he can now stay injury free.
