Sky saying spurs still interested in adama but we've put £50m tag on him. It'll be interesting right up to 11 tonight.

1.) 31 Aug 2021 11:02:57
Jeff is rightly playing hardball with Daniel Levy. £50mil paid up-front, for Traore, take it or leave it. No try-before-you-buy stuff.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 11:05:45
I’ve also seen a report suggesting a late bid by Spurs for Neves. I hope this doesn’t come to fruition.

{Ed002's Note - Ruben Neves (DM/CM) Wolves would look to get as close to €50M as they can should circumstances dictate Neves is sold, but they certainly don't want to sell and have made clear that he has a long-term contract and there have been no approaches at this time. Mr Mourinho is a huge fan and has tried to take him to three different clubs in the past - and he would, I am sure be interested in taking him to Roma but their focus right now iselsewhere. He has always been seen as an option to replace Matic at Manchester United, but they have other priorities to deal with first and preferred options - although they are not working out well so Wolves might see an offer. His agent has been actively offering him around and has spoken with Juventus who are looking to offload players but none that I would expect Wolves to be interested in. The Spurs coach would like him as an upgrade to Sissoko and Ndombele but it is likely both would need to leave as they are looking at another addition in midfield as well. Arsenal have preferred options but his agent is keen to have him move on so they cannot be discounted - although failing to sell Xhaka will likely take them out of the picture.}

3.) 31 Aug 2021 12:49:53
Wolves won't sell Neves with 3 years left on his contract.

{Ed077's Note - we will know for sure in a few hours I guess

04 Jul 2021 10:29:06
So trincao joins us on loan from barca. A 21 Yr old with 6 Portuguese caps and a winger. Do assume that adama definitely going be it at a undervalued fee?

1.) 04 Jul 2021 11:47:20
Trincao at 21, played 28 La Liga matches, scored 3 goals, with 2 assists and played 7 UEFA Champions League games for Barcelona.
As well as the 6 full internationals.
Another Neto-type player, which is good for us.
Traore still has 2 years to go on his contract, so I believe he will leave only if Lage decides he is not a good fit for his way of playing.

2.) 04 Jul 2021 15:19:56
Trincao was being talked about as a wonder kid a year or so ago and we've just signed him with a future fee agreed! It's odd because the theme on here from many has been that Fosun are asset stripping and next stop on the track is relegation?! People talking about the players we MAY lose, yet here we are three players signed and still none sold?! It would seem that Fosun can't even do a fire sale correctly eh?! 😝 Could it be that they are in fact trying to improve the club, as I said yesterday these conspiracies are laughable really! 🤣.

3.) 04 Jul 2021 17:30:18
Well BULLYS, comings and going’s there will be. Some people are born doom and gloomers because that is how they like to view life or have closed minds like a cabbage. Others accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative. Fosun are shrewd investors who were hampered by the C.V. and as a Wolves fan I and many remain squarely behind Fosun until proven wrong. Bruno must be given a fair chance while he assembles his chosen squad, hopefully with more players capable of slotting seamlessly from bench, as and when.

4.) 04 Jul 2021 23:36:47
Just watched some show reels of Trincao. If he produces that level every week, we are in for a very special player.

5.) 05 Jul 2021 10:11:14
Jas he certainty looks a super player! When you think he went from a small club like Braga (no disrespect to them by the way just capacity wise) to 100,000 plus at Barca. Its a massive jump for a young player. I think for the money we with luck are getting a player as good as Pedro. Here's hoping he settles well and does it for us!

6.) 05 Jul 2021 19:39:38
I have looked at footage of him too Jas looks good excellent first touch and has quick feet.

Everyone is different and has different feelings towards fosun and wolves but for like minded fans it's great being a wolves fan.

7.) 05 Jul 2021 22:39:34
Trincao is a fantastic talent - who Barcelona didn't really want to get rid of but they are in so much financial trouble and struggling to offload Coutinho, Griezmann, Ousman Dembele etc. for anything like the money they paid for them and want/ need so are having to accept reasonable offers for their very talented youngsters.
I know Alena wants to stay and fight for his place but a deal for him may not be dead if Barcelona can't offload other players they may force him to go and as much as he currently wants to stay that may not mean he wouldn't want to come to us if he was forced to leave so I wouldn't view it as a negative if we do sign him (he's another great talent) .

{Ed002's Note - That is nonsense.}

Bringing hwang on cost us goals . That could have won us that. Bad choice. Unlucky again to lose Sa and Neto. Not surprised at result sad we've sunk to 10th as it stands. Never mind onwards and upwards . Shall be behind the u23s tomorrow night.

1.) 22 May 2022 18:20:23
Agee with you . But I a. Going to be the fan that’s says If you would of offered me 10th at the start of the season I would of taken it . Onwards and upwards

2.) 22 May 2022 18:38:17
I feel the same Abbey we should not have lost 3-1. As you say with some more clinical finishing we could have won that. Funny how both Wolves penalty appeals (both shoves in the back) got little consideration.
Not happy with 10th by any means, we are/should be, better than that but why this team can't score is the real mystery. Something that HAS to addressed this summer.
Still roll on the transfer window and let's see what they have in mind.

3.) 22 May 2022 19:11:38
With a goalscorer we would have challenged for champion's league, to many games where our threat in front of goal was anonymous.

4.) 22 May 2022 19:27:59
In Feb longmynd we were all primed for a top 6, even after the harsh defeats by arsenal were we anywhere out of it, the away against West ham was the most unambitious performance then the 'rot' had set. We got what we reaped and 10th is where we are. But I agree I don't think with our players we should have ended up here. Bruno must hold responsibility, he's persisted with hwang, as we saw today, he just dosnt fit in, anywhere. Trincao is another but at least he's hot/cold. Pods as been fantastic but injury aside rarely used fully. Chinquino was the turning point but is still ignored. I've backed Bruno, still do to an extent but some of his thinking dosnt make sense to me. One true gold today tho, toti, that lad is going to ooze class one day.

22 May 2022 15:18:34
Come on wolves we could be beating the potential champions of Europe today, what better way for our lads to bid us goodbye?

22 May 2022 06:30:57
Well here we go, it's au revoir, swansong whatever, it's the last time we'll be seeing some of the lads who have brought us into the prem and into Europe and into the top 10 of the most respected league in the world. So thank you, thank you to you all.
Klopp (always think allo allo ) says his fararries are ready, well when fararries crash they normally end up burning in embarrassing situations, maybe our fiesta will have just got going? Against every sensible bit of reasoning in my body I'm predicting 2-1 win to us, not pretty or skilled but victory non the less (tho mainly because I'm old gold through and through) let's end the season on a high. Raul hwang neves trincao boly whoever it takes, let's get this party started COYW COYW COYW . Thanks lads.

1.) 22 May 2022 08:18:29
Heavy defeat today I fear so onto to next season

2.) 22 May 2022 08:38:47
I'd like to echo your sentiments about the departing players Abbey.
As for the rest, not so sure. I just don't see that we've got those miracle results in us at the moment. The City game proved that for me. Hope I'm wrong, but I do admire your spirit.

3.) 22 May 2022 09:23:33
Always look on the bright side of life longmyndwolf!. Hope for the best whilst fearing the worse. COYW

4.) 22 May 2022 09:57:18
0-0 would be a result for us today!

5.) 22 May 2022 10:44:07
I reckon we will score today if Liverpool score of which is obviously highest likely I think it will be 1 or 2 goals max for Liverpool.

6.) 22 May 2022 11:09:30
We need to buy top top players in midfield with pace. I think nunes and palhina would be good, but could be out our budget.
Shame nrves is leaving so recruiyment must be good this time.

7.) 22 May 2022 11:24:29
I really hope that Neves stays and is installed as captain. That would be a real statement of intent in telling others that we are building our team around a player who although coveted by others, we do not need to sell. I don't mind if Coady, Swiss, Boly and some of the others go as long as we keep our prized assets namely Neves, Sa, Kilman and Neto. Whoever goes, we wish them well and thank you for your service. However comes in, we look forward to cheering you on and helping you become legends.

If Neves does go, then all I can say is thank you for all those outrageous and magical goals.

8.) 22 May 2022 12:44:53
Dear Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy. What a fantastic name! I think that you are great! Long live Brian Eno.

9.) 22 May 2022 13:00:00
Dear Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy. We climbed and we climbed, oh how we climbed,

16 May 2022 20:34:28
So after all the debate and looking to the future how do people think we'll fair on Sunday against a must win Liverpool? What team will bruno set out? Rated I can't wait for your bet.

1.) 16 May 2022 22:30:51
Reds to win 2 nil. Most of the big hitters starting on the bench to rest them as much as possible for the Champions league final. Good on the Toon for playing 4-3-3 with good ball retention. If we don't follow suit next season, they'll finish above us.

2.) 16 May 2022 23:27:21
Abbey 9-0 will be acceptable but 10 or more will be a bit embarrassing.
I was at Anfield when Steve Mardenbrough scored against the odds and when Andy Weimann knocked them out of the cup.
Don’t give a monkeys about this one as season is over and it’s up to the owners where we go from here.

3.) 16 May 2022 23:35:36
Sunday morning i'll be putting my bet in Abbey.

4.) 16 May 2022 23:46:50
Wolves to sneak a 1-0 win against Liverpool.

5.) 17 May 2022 06:17:34
I don't personally think of the game as anything but face saving from our point of view. I like the idea of a 1-0 win lostcity, anything could happen even stearman scored there inside a couple of mins if memories serve me right EoW. If I have a bet, which might be worth the odds, it'll be for a 1-1 draw. My head days something else.

6.) 17 May 2022 09:50:04
Can"t see us getting anything even if City are champions by then.

16 May 2022 10:52:50
So my new grumble today forgetting yesterday is that I will not be allowed to see the U23s PL2 play off semi on wolves TV due to prem leagues rules because Liverpool v Southampton are being broadcast live. How on earth would my and other die hard wolves/Norwich fans watching our youngsters effect the Liverpool broadcast? I doubt my absence will effect their ad returns and i've subscribed to sky they've got Mty money anyway.

Everyone as a shelf life tho, Patricio was a dream signing but perhaps age creeps up, I think we'd all agree some aspects were slowing down. I'll never forget his performance in the Asian Cup against man c. Cut head played on and then the penalty saves. Whoever takes the gloves will have a big job on their hands.

That's so truelongmymnd. The other thing is neves is the gold mine at present, moutininho legs not getting any younger, although I'd hate either to go it make business sense financially to replace with suitable replacements. That said we can't buy the journey neves and mouts have taken us on or the loyalty and affliation to the club they've shown. But money talks and we have to look forward. I'll also be sad to see traore leave, ok he wants out, ok he was literally hit or miss, but he was exciting, I always felt reassured we had something on the bench that could put the fear into the opposition, the thought of him running AT us is uncomfortable. Long days rumours headlines and surprises ahead I suspect.

Interesting that the palhina done deal with Fulham is now reported by sky news as 'Fulham are keen on palhina and weighing up a £20 mil bid'. The other day he was about to sign for 17mil. Who really knows what's going to happen? He may still yet be old gold.
