Changing the subject, I heard Mr Lineker state again that Wolves have not scored from outside the box, I seem to remember a certain Tommy Doyle scoring a belter against Brentford from well outside the box. Admittedly it was a cup game but a goal is a goal. I'm sure that when Lineker played and totted up his goal tally for a season he included all cup and league games.

Harry Kane is a liability at the moment so give someone else a chance. Portugal carried on playing Ronaldo and left quality players on the bench, he was very poor and that was a large part of the reason they went out.

The 55 million for Bentley is obviously tongue in cheek. But make an enquiry for any Arsenal player and they demand at least 50 mill. so don't see much wrong with us playing their game.

We quibbled over the fee when we tried to sign Wharton from Blackburn. I believe we were 5 mill. short. He's now with the England squad and his value has trebled. So short sighted!
