Aaron Ramsey to Wolves rumour. Could be one of the more experienced players Wolves now need. Rather see him and an experienced CB soon apart from replacing any departures as and when.

1.) 28 Jul 2021 07:44:33
I don't believe there is anything in this story his wages are too high for a start.

2.) 28 Jul 2021 08:04:58
OK, the suspense of the next arrival is getting too exciting for me. Waiting and hoping!

3.) 28 Jul 2021 20:35:40
Just saw a flying pig.

21 May 2021 14:02:10
Nuno is sadly off after a tumultuous season according to Sky Sports.

Sevlow46

1.) 21 May 2021 15:16:11
I am really trusting that Fosun will announce replacement very soon for Wolves to be propelled onwards and Upwards. Need to give new manager maximum settling time!

2.) 22 May 2021 00:52:55
I think it was BBC who said nothing for 3 weeks. I would like to see a Graham Potter, has come through a very difficult season with injuries and survived with a smaller set up than Wolves. Plays good football when able too, knows how to ground out results. Most importantly is entrenched in the UK game at all levels. Not one on many peoples radar I would think.

09 Mar 2021 16:47:52
See news of Nunos request that the team should play from the first whistle as they mostly do in the second half.
I really thought it was an energy conservation plan! COYW.

1.) 10 Mar 2021 17:17:25
Could it be that we are fitter than most, wear our oppenents out and slowly improve through the game.

2.) 11 Mar 2021 13:25:04
Problem being we’re always at least one goal down by then, scoring first and holding on when they tire would be a better plan.

3.) 15 Mar 2021 22:54:23
That Jota chap looks a mighty good player doesn't he boys 😂😂😂

What, you sold him and spent a record fee buying Fábio Silva 😂😂😂

I bet none of this was in Nuno's infamous dream 😂😂😂

Told you boys long ago, Nuno got rid of your best players and bought in rubbish, that is why you are nowhere near the team you were last season.

Mind The Gap. 😂😂😂😂.

4.) 16 Mar 2021 09:57:56
AVillaFan, a question for you. Why exactly do you post on the Wolves forums, exclusively when we lose, but never seem to post on the Villa site?

Also why are you having ago at Fabio Silva when, as you say he is so poor but has a better record than Villa young messiah Keinan Davis. That's right, Keinan Davis, the striker with 0 (zero) goals in 58 league games.

5.) 16 Mar 2021 09:40:41
And villa breaking the record book's are they. Shows how good they are without the snotty nosed fall guy that keeps buying cheap free kicks and that's why no big clubs have come in for him. he was hated at his junior club as well cus its all me me me me . we'll see about the gap when you can't spend next season.

6.) 16 Mar 2021 10:43:33
He's obviously got too much time on his hands.

7.) 16 Mar 2021 20:58:51
Avillafan why do you come here for? Are you after attention or something?
Mind the gap, you lot are only in the prem due to an hawkeye error you are there on false presences go back under your bridge.

8.) 27 Mar 2021 16:36:39
He will be off the page when more posts are posted.

Would seem Nuno did have league priority for his depleted pack. Wolves found their way in the second half. THANK GOODNESS for those 3 points.

Which 3 players would you refuse to sell unless over £50million was offered?
Mine would be Coady for the team,
Neto for the future and Traore for being unique.

Sevlow46

1.) 11 Jul 2021 17:04:26
Jota, too late too cheap sevlow. But now Neves, Neto, traore he's worth it for bums on seats, and I honestly think he's an asset.

2.) 11 Jul 2021 17:15:18
Coady, Neto, Neves.

3.) 11 Jul 2021 17:25:48
Neves, Neto, Adama would be rightly priced at 50 or above.
If Neves goes for any less that the club are making a mistake, Neto won't be going anywhere this season, but I'd expect Adama to move on.

4.) 11 Jul 2021 19:38:44
Neto is injured and Jimenez is not yet back from a serious injury so they have to be discounted - but at their best both are worth over £50m.
Other than that though getting £50m for Neves would be a v good fee and for Coady a fantastic fee.
In reality our only player obvioulsy worth more than £50m is Traore.
Even today £50m should buy you all bar the very best - Otto and Semedo are both solid Prem players but even ignoring Otto's injury £50m would be not far off the price for both.

5.) 11 Jul 2021 23:01:16
Penalty's again.
So so gutted.
It's unbelievable.
I'm unconsolable.

6.) 11 Jul 2021 23:16:50
Buggar it, absolutely gutted for them! They'll come again they're young. We can hope.

7.) 11 Jul 2021 23:30:43
Gutted!
However re the missed pens.
Anyone who has played the game should know that a player needs to get a "feel" of the ball. To expect them to come on at the death just to take the pens is IMO asking to much of the young `uns.
Will probably get slated but what the heck.

8.) 12 Jul 2021 06:04:15
Chin up greyleg mate the world Cup next year.
First half we were all over the Italians, second half the Italians were all over us.
Luke shaw from a few years back he looked not good enough for England when we watched him agaisnt us for man utd but last night played the game if his life.
It's a funny old game football, gives me thought for our players all of them can start playing like world beaters and follow Luke Shaws example.
4 weeks Saturday till Leicester.
FWAW.

9.) 12 Jul 2021 07:13:25
Ok Phil. Cheers.
How's Harry Kane worth £1mill
He's not looked up to speed all tournament, but Gareth never dropped him.
But we never improve our pens,
I agree with womb, how on earth did the teenager get to take a pen, let alone the last one ☹️☹️.

10.) 12 Jul 2021 09:23:09
I just think there was too much pressure on Kane to deliver. The only other striker we took was Calvert Lewin who wasn't in the best of form st the end of the season. I still think Southgate should have taken Ings instead of White as Sterling and Rashford aren't out and out strikers.

11.) 12 Jul 2021 09:35:59
£100 mill I meant
Thought rice was superb,
Kane captain 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I saw coady, trippier, doing his job, last night, he's useless,
Mind you he's good at falling over,
, even the ref got fed up with him falling over, couldn't cope with two 36 your olds
I'm over it now, 🤔
So roll on the wolves
Keep posting my friends 👍👍.

12.) 12 Jul 2021 09:51:46
We got to the final a great achievement where its only happened once before.
Our younger players will hopefully benefit from the experience of playing in a major final👍.

07 May 2021 06:26:55
The Daily Mail reporting that more English based players are to be recruited now for Wolves. I do hope so.

1.) 07 May 2021 13:28:31
Daily mail, need I say more.

2.) 07 May 2021 15:04:25
Fantastic. See you soon Kane Foden and Sterling.

07 Mar 2021 13:13:43
Team talk time. Jose or Silva. Whoever starts out of these two must produce or swap at 60 minutes?
Suggestions - as they are strikers after all.

Sevlow46

1.) 07 Mar 2021 13:47:03
Think it's time for another Fabio run in the team. With Jose doing the last 20
I also think the donk needs a rest as it's one mistake after another at the moment, and I am a fan of him when he's on form he's brilliant,

I'd give otasowie a run, 2 minutes against city was pointless.

2.) 07 Mar 2021 14:13:17
It depends what we're looking to achieve. If finishing as high up the table this season as possible is the most important thing then I'd stick with Jose, but bring Fabio on around the 65 minute mark so he has more time to affect a game.

If we're looking more long term and willing to possibly risk a few points this season, then as I'm not expecting Jose to be with us next season giving Fabio more minutes could help his development as long as he's supported and encouraged and not treated as a scapegoat. I'd also like to see Taylor Perry given a few outings late on in games. In the U23s seems to be capable of taking a set piece and bringing the ball forward from midfield. He's not PL standard at the moment but would like to see him given some more minutes.

3.) 07 Mar 2021 15:04:13
I'd like to see Vinthia just behind the front two, Traore dropped as he is lazy imo.
But i'd say stick with Jose for now but as Pedrowolf said get Silva on around 65 minutes to give him more time to have a impact on the game.

4.) 07 Mar 2021 15:04:58
Silva and Jose are just not good enough for the Premier league, we can all see that, Jose is too slow and Silva just not ready for this league. Have we got someone else to play in this position? as these two are not the answer. We are not safe yet and need someone who can get into positions to score goals.

5.) 07 Mar 2021 15:59:50
Sorry but its time for plain talking and hard decisions. The result at Anfield today by Fulham is a disaster. They are playing well. Brighton are playing better than us-even Albion.

UNLESS a change is made now my prediction of relegation is going to come to fruition. We are defensively awful, offensively relying on Neto.

The players who have come in are just not up to it. If we get into a serious dogfight with say five games to go we will not find the necessary ammunition or class to get out of it.

{Ed014's Note - Jesus mate, that’s a tad dramatic

6.) 07 Mar 2021 16:11:25
I'm inclined to agree SQ. just need to win our games against the 5 teams we are still to play ie Fulham, Brighton, Burnley, Sheffield U and Sandwell.

7.) 07 Mar 2021 16:12:13
Posted some time ago that IMO Fulham could well get out of it SQ.
However, even though we are playing rubbish if we can`t get one win and two draws out of the next ten games we deserve to go down.

8.) 07 Mar 2021 16:14:07
SQ mate cheer up it's sunny outside we will not be relegated this season it'll be between Brighton and Newcastle.

9.) 07 Mar 2021 16:20:44
Hope SQ is wrong.

10.) 07 Mar 2021 16:21:20
I think keep starting Jose and bring Fabio on for last 10 or 15 as I think was the plan if Jimenez hadn't got injured.

I'm thinking whatever the reason or reasons Jose hasn't set the world alight for us Fabio isn't the answer to be number 1 striker for us this season.

SQ we are 5 points from the magical 40 points of safety with 10 games to go.
However frustrating and predictable our play is we will get more than 5 points from the remaining 30 points available.
Sure it's possible what you predict but I don't see it.
Boly podence back we will be better than the excellent points hall of February.
just my opinion.

11.) 07 Mar 2021 16:25:11
Last 6 games form table for the teams you say are playing better than us:

Fulham 11 points, Us 9 points, Baggies 6 points and Brighton 5 points so I really think you need to reassess who is playing better than who. Over the last 6 games, Villa, Palace, Arsenal, Burnley, Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton, Liverpool and Sheff U are worse off than us. Of these, Palace, Burnley, Newcastle and Southampton are between us and Fulham in the last relegation spot.

12.) 07 Mar 2021 16:27:17
Positive as ever SQ. Were 9 points ahead with 4-5 teams below us on less. Back to the fabio/ silva debate imo jose has to start with fabio coming into it 60min time. Dendonk looks worn out so with boly hope fully returning let him have a match out. Moutininho another not upto speed and given his age needs a rest. I'm not sure about otawasie yet and a start might benefit him but still abit naive for prem at mo.
Big game against Liverpool, sods law they lost again today, they'll be sore. We might drop a few of the 9 point advantage but we're not going down SQ. Despite my comment that new shirts looked like relegation shirts at start of season. We should have enough.

13.) 07 Mar 2021 16:42:58
What's your plan SQ?

14.) 07 Mar 2021 16:45:29
So sq your thinking that albion or Fulham or Brighton or Burnley are going to win4/ 5 on the bounce and we're going to lose 4/ 5 on the bounce. I'm sorry but I really can't see that happening. People saying Chelsea arsenal Leicester Southampton villa would beat us but we got points. keep the faith folks.

15.) 07 Mar 2021 17:09:14
Read all the replies and respect all of them. So we'll wait and see. I'm ready to put my hand up if I'm wrong. Hopefully I am.

16.) 07 Mar 2021 17:20:18
SQ you said a change is needed, hence my query as to what is your plan?

17.) 07 Mar 2021 17:34:37
And I hope your wrong sq. I think your post is cus you care mate and I appreciate that.

18.) 07 Mar 2021 19:08:49
I hope Willian Jose was watching the Manchester derby this afternoon. Just to watch Martial and learn how a No.9 should play. Work in defence as well as attack not just stand and wait for ball to feet. The energy Martial expelled this afternoon is more than Jose would all season.
And on your way out Willian, take Traore with you.

Hoping for Sheff Utd, WBA and the Geordies to be relegated. Have a ticket at 25/ 1 placed in November they are the 3 to go.

19.) 07 Mar 2021 19:26:28
Just read the usual optimism from SQ. Whilst you are entitled to your point of view there is no way we are going down. You almost had me looking up the Samaritans phone number for a moment or two until I noticed it was your post. Proper prophet of doom as usual, cheer up it won't happen mate.

20.) 07 Mar 2021 19:38:31
Don't panic Mr mannering,
We won't go down,
So let's play Jose and Fabio?
Nothin lose surely, what if they click 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔.

21.) 08 Mar 2021 06:01:39
I will remember your 25/ 1 wager Wolfie I think you have Sheffield United and the baggies in the bag, not sure on Newcastle but it's common for a team to be dragged down into the relegation fight. ie Newcastle 🤞

COYW.

22.) 08 Mar 2021 13:17:07
Cheers Phil, I work in the area on Wed and Thurs and the apathy and depression is etched on their faces. They're accepting relegation and the end of Brucey. Fulham much too good to go down. Worried about Brighton's slump though.
Only had £8 to win £200. Buy me a few coffees.

23.) 08 Mar 2021 15:19:29
Newcastle play villa next then the week after it's the big one agaisnt Brighton.

Come on you Hove lol

Come on Wolfie let's see ya get the 200 pound.
🙂.

24.) 08 Mar 2021 22:20:13
😅😅😅 cheers Phil. Now I'm wanting the Vile to win at St James next game and then the boys to beat Brucey 😅😅🤣 if you're passing Stafford I'll buy you a drink 👌.

25.) 09 Mar 2021 16:46:30
Cheers matey👍👍👍.

14 Feb 2021 17:08:30
Thank goodness for half time! Someone here posted to get Traore on the left wing as likes to run to the right. This move gave him the opportunity to dribble at speed straight towards goal before finding Semedo and the resulting penalty. Gave Wolves the impetuous to continue to dominate and win. YES.
3 precious points!

1.) 14 Feb 2021 18:22:18
Well actually Sev numerous posters have been saying for weeks that switching them to inside forwards was the only way to get them scoring! I wasn't one of them if I'm being honest but it has been said, maybe Nunos a reader 👍.

11 Feb 2021 23:15:00
Obviously no cup ambition. Just a FINAL confirmation (if needed) on three players who need to be stripped of wearing old gold for a long time.
Wonderful to learn how well Jack Price is doing in America.

We surely could do better!

A hard man at the back is what we surely lack in many games where Wolves are a defensive pushover. Could be a good option for Bruno when he feels we are, or could be, physically disadvantaged, which happened frequently last season. COYW.

Wolf1960. Thanks for reality check and the fosun 10 year plan. They really almost made a false start in the first 3 years with few injuries. Maybe a larger squad full of youth will continue some progress. Cannot afford expensive prima donna players who are no longer hungry for success.
Bruno will have knowledge of their plan. COYW.

Logical Still a NES. Traore would be on display at the front of the shop window v. Liverpool. Therefore Bruno has to pick him for that one regardless of Burnley game performance.

Traores strength dictates he should play against Burnley It could be his last start for Wolves.
Bruno has had time to make his judgement on any progress and must be scratching his head.
I thought some use of his speedy ability to dribble, dribble and dribble would have arrived by now. However a final (head up) ball “aka” Podence is very rare.
We do only need Neto to return and he will be a permanent and expensive bench warmer.
Play with your head up please Adama! He goes by so many players, why won’t he go around the keeper if no teammates arrive? COYW.

Hwang is a work horse and has that vital calm touch (cool head) in front of goal. Where would we be without him? Podence has magical footballing moves and has been brilliant as a sub. Would worry he would be hammered by some defenders over 90 minutes as happened last season.
Definitely a quality midfielder and 2 centre backs short in squad. So it is fingers crossed for fitness. COYW.
