Couple of updates from Fabrizio Romano:

(1) Gonçalo Guedes joins Wolves on a permanent deal, agreement finally completed. Guedes, expected to fly on Monday to undergo medical and sign as new Wolves player. ?? #WWFC

Long term contract agreed, €32m plus add-ons to Valencia. Here we go.

(2) Everton are set to sign Conor Coady, agreement in principle with Wolves - going to be a loan with buy clause also included as reported. ? #EFC

Personal terms almost agreed, Coady wants the move. Details discussed while Onana will be announced as new Everton player soon.

Very sad news regarding Coady the heart of our club in my opinion, I would like to thank him for his contribution to our clubs history and wish him and his family all the very best for the future, another sad day in my life as a Wolves supporter.

2.) 07 Aug 2022 20:13:30
Motinhio kicked the ball.shooting with his left foot awkwardly apparently.and bruno told him not to shoot.i think he sez that to every player tho?

3.) 07 Aug 2022 20:37:58
Thanks @Buxwolf - wrong thread.

4.) 07 Aug 2022 23:26:30
Looking at all these comments. I see the frustrations and even the anger at Coady going but has he begged to stay? Has he come out and said he will fight for his place? No he is jumping ship to a club that ironically plays 3 at the back as deep down he knows he can't play in a back 4, a true leader that loves the club as much as he does would do everything he could to stay, so many wolves fans on here are so fickle! I also see Fabio scored again this afternoon. but he is another player we need to write off as he didn't score 20 goals in his first season.time to wise up ladies and gentlemen.

5.) 07 Aug 2022 23:59:57
I regularly read these pages, some of you regular posters on here are a joke. This is a rumour page, yet when rumours are posted you slate the poster like you are in the know, then two posts later you repeat the rumour but from X source like its gospel.
I notice if its a "regular poster" it receives kudos from other "regular posters" makeing this site very clicky, a bit of an exclusive club.

Abby I always love your enthusiasm been missing that recently, I agree with your post and several other non "regular posters" that have stated early days to make snap judgments.
Yes we would all love deals to be done and dusted on the first day of the window, but life isn't like that.
Its unbelievably foolhardy to hear shouts of fosun out, are you mad, or just very young!
We are one game in, 37 to go, the window has not closed yet, on the back of the most successful Wolves team in decades, I for one am prepared to give Fosun the benifit of at least the first 10 games.

6.) 08 Aug 2022 10:02:16
Totally agree with everything you have said Lord Thor.
Clicky is putting it mildly. It's like an exclusive club for certain members only.

04 Aug 2022 11:28:56
From Fabrizio Romano's socials
"Wolves proposal for Hwang Ui-Jo has been submitted. Negotiations on now with Bordeaux for the striker who's one of new targets for Bruno Lage. ??? #Wolves

Talks will continue between the two clubs."

Some posters in here said the bid was rejected. Looks like talk are ongoing.

According to sky sports Wolves are trying to get Batsyasi on loan from Chelsea I know wrong spelling.

2.) 04 Aug 2022 13:03:45
Wolves are trying to get Batshuayi from Chelsea on loan.

3.) 04 Aug 2022 13:10:58
Batshuayi would be a good shout!

4.) 04 Aug 2022 13:43:10
Direct quote from the E&S regarding Batshuayi

"Batshuayi has one year left on his Wolves deal and any move would likely be a loan. While on loan at Besiktas last season the 28-year-old scored 14 goals"

Does anybody else notice the glaring error?

5.) 04 Aug 2022 13:48:41
Coady to Everton maybe

6.) 04 Aug 2022 14:25:37
Theyr both garbage and not up2prem standard.we don't need another bogstandardlazy3rd rater.and maybe its time for coady2move on.shiwed how poor he really is in the leeds dedeat.same as bruno.clueless

7.) 04 Aug 2022 15:02:42
Very harsh to say that mate are you realy a Wolves Fan?

22 Jul 2022 12:14:56
According to the might of media giants Ibrox News:

"Rangers want to sign Wolves ace Patrick Cutrone, currently lead the race"

Does anyone else see the irony of this move, should it go ahead?

Debbie McGee

1.) 22 Jul 2022 12:18:23
Does he need a lift?

2.) 22 Jul 2022 12:33:41
Sorry Debbie, I'm not sure what your irony comment refers to but if it means getting him off our books if Bruno doesn't want him, can't see a problem, unless I've missed something.

3.) 22 Jul 2022 12:54:50
Let him go and the sooner the better.

4.) 22 Jul 2022 12:55:35
I presume Debbie means his homesickness ??

5.) 22 Jul 2022 13:40:35
No, the irony is he is a Catholic playing for a Protestant team (Glasgow is known for its sectarian divide). Mind you, Celtic has done the same previously. Just funny how they (both clubs) can throw their daft sectarian divide out the window when it comes to a player.

6.) 22 Jul 2022 15:38:02
Well spotted Debbie, never thought of that and definitely never understood it.

7.) 22 Jul 2022 15:58:18
Dito well spotted Deb.

Was Mo Johnson the first Catholic to play for Rangers?

8.) 22 Jul 2022 17:18:05
I thought 'Wolves ace' was the irony; doubt too many would argue with that.

9.) 22 Jul 2022 18:02:54
@Phil789 - Yeah, he was. I think Celtic were also the first team to have a Protestant manager too.
Either way, it’s a load on non-sense.

10.) 22 Jul 2022 18:48:01
Cheers Debbie ?

11.) 22 Jul 2022 22:12:24
Move for Cutrone dependent on Morelos leaving. Morelos is a devout Catholic. It's 16 years now Rangers made Paul Le Guen their first Catholic manager. Ot saying it's not an issue now, but it's nothing like the issue it was.

12.) 23 Jul 2022 12:09:11
Debbie, I simply thought that using the words "Cutrone" and "ace" in the same sentence was the irony! Ah well, can't win them all.

13.) 24 Jul 2022 13:57:19
I thought it was 'lead the race'.

22 Jul 2022 08:08:20
From Fabrizio Romano

"Everton want to sign an extra quality midfielder. Frank Lampard has also Leander Dendoncker in the list, he's appreciated by board and manager. Everton, ready to explore this move in the next weeks. ? #EFC

Contract with Wolves expires in 2023, with option for further season"

Debbie McGee

1.) 22 Jul 2022 08:45:52
They might be interested but not sure Wolves will want to let him go Debbie. We've lost one good defender/midfielder in Saiss and managers do like to have flexible players in the squad. Having said that we seem to have plenty of central defenders, all of a sudden, so it might open the door for a more creative midfielder to help Moutinho through the season.

2.) 22 Jul 2022 08:56:29
If Dendoncker moving ended up with us signing Nunes then I wouldn't be against this but that would still leave us light in terms of numbers in midfield. Dendoncker is a good steady player but we need better if we are to progress. He runs about and puts the odd tackle in but other than that I struggle to see what else he offers.

3.) 22 Jul 2022 10:05:27
I think Dendonker is a decent player, he does the "dirty jobs" which frees up the likes of neves and Moutinho to be the more creative players. He's always been a player who divides opinion. But as I recall Wolves paid 12m (GBP) for him which is very cheap in today's market and at the time.

4.) 22 Jul 2022 10:41:29
Read the stats on points per game then read how we get more points when Donk plays than when he doesn't. Don't see any advantage in selling him unless it's a very, very good offer and we can get better than we already have.

5.) 22 Jul 2022 10:49:38
I agree Deb,
Dendonker not appreciated by a lot of fans for his excellent attributes more unappreciated for his lesser attributes compared with our other players.
But neves and mouthino are top top quality.

6.) 22 Jul 2022 11:17:11
Dendonker really goes under the radar, his workrate is phenomenal and he always puts a shift in, covering for others and often doing the hard miles to keep the opposition under pressure plus he can operate in various positions. A definite keep at the moment.

7.) 22 Jul 2022 11:33:34
Dendonker is I suspect a massivley underrated player who, as some have said, does a lot of the unseen dirty work - closing people down, covering space, winning the ball back and offensively providing passing options by finding space and supporting people with his Duracell Bunny running power. He is also v versatile and in my view is probably the 4th option at the back (in a 3) as well as the 3rd option in the middle (in a 2).
However the 4th and 3rd options in 3s and 2s are the issue. He is limited by his lack of pace and quality on the ball - and despite always looking like he will score from those late and often well timed runs into the box - our only player seemingly capable of doing that ( MGW?)- he rarely does.
Thus I agree we should keep him as a squad player - unless the offer allowed us (contributed significantly to the required fee and note Dendonker is v well paid so wages as well) to acquire a first 11 player -Nunes or Barbosa (?)
Clearly if he left we might need a senior CM to cover his 3rd role and if you aren't buying one for the first 11 (Nunes? - pushing Moutinho into that role) but are buying a player for the first 11 in another posistion - (Barbosa?) then you would need to buy a reserve CM/CD as well - someone perhaps like Saiss unless you think Coady becomes the Mr Versatile covering CD and DCM?

8.) 22 Jul 2022 12:03:29
Dendonker is under appreciated. My only issue with his game is his finishing. It seems to have gotten worse over the last couple of seasons. He gets into some good positions and gets quite a few good chances. If he was able to improve his finishing his transfer value would sky rocket.

9.) 22 Jul 2022 17:39:49
Donk is a quality player. Fitted in seamlessly at the back when Boly was injured during Europa league campaign finishing 7th and a Europa qf shows the quality he possesses.
Never seen him in a back 4 would this be an option as he isn't slow and comfortable with ball at his feet.
Nuno and Bruno have struggled to find the best position for him.
Personally think he is similar to Saiss better in defence than midfield. Should be used as a target at set pieces.

10.) 22 Jul 2022 20:41:25
Latest news saying Morgan wants to stay and fight for his place realy hope so

18 Jul 2022 21:17:33
Fabio Silva's loan move to Anderlecht has been agreed after the Wolves striker had a medical in Belgium today.

The deal is set to be announced tomorrow (Tuesday) on the day the forward turns 20-years-old - and the £35million attacker has also signed a contract extension with Wolves.

I agree, do you?

Debbie McGee

1.) 15 Aug 2022 06:17:24
Not sure Debbie, but I'll trust your judgment on this, so yes I agree.

2.) 15 Aug 2022 06:40:10
100% as far as I'm aware.

3.) 15 Aug 2022 07:31:25
Thanks, I was hoping I’d get positive affirmation about my thoughts on said matter. Have a great day ?

4.) 15 Aug 2022 08:48:58
I'm not so sure that your information is correct but happy to be proved wrong.

5.) 15 Aug 2022 10:20:24
I agree aswell

6.) 15 Aug 2022 10:55:05
I'll agree too, if the wife says it's ok.

Think we'll agree to disagree.

13 Aug 2022 07:52:50
Nunes has turned down the chance to join West Ham (£25m), he doesn't want to play for them. - I really don't see what we can offer him?

Debbie McGee

1.) 13 Aug 2022 08:12:35
He may of turned west ham down because he is wanting to sign for us.
Imo it's all a guessing game.
Can't rule out he wants to join our project or not.

2.) 13 Aug 2022 08:36:48
Debbie - Guedes got persuaded by the Team Portugal ?? if he wants to come to the Premiership and his first option Liverpool ain’t ‘biting’ by the Bank Holiday weekend he will join.

I would like Boubacar Troare as well. Ramos has gone quiet on The Toon front - am I being greedy!

COYW back Bruno

3.) 13 Aug 2022 08:55:34
I get there is a huge Portuguese contingency at Wolves, and that is a draw, but I’m referring to what Wolves can offer in terms of football. Don’t forget a lot of players preferences are to sign for London based clubs.

I try to be positive, but this window has ground me down to a nub ???

4.) 13 Aug 2022 09:04:44
No news is good news, but I think traore more likely from what I've read. But that portugul pull might just be enough. Fingers tightly crossed.

5.) 13 Aug 2022 14:07:21
Like the line up like bench going for 2-0 Wolves win

12 Aug 2022 18:08:15
Bruno Lage's comment on the transfer window
"It will be one more time; patience and trust. Patience because we still have 20 days until the end of the transfer window and trust in us, in our work, and judge the work we are doing at the start of this season at the end of this transfer window. That's what I'll ask - patience and time."

Debbie McGee

1.) 12 Aug 2022 20:20:00
Debbie all of us are hoping and trusting that we get the 3 or 4 new signings that's been said by Bruno yes I trust him I like him got us playing attacking creative football but we need more bogies in if not Shi and Sellars are to blame.

2.) 12 Aug 2022 22:33:05
As you all know I have been knocking Shi and sellers.
Bruno says he wants 3 or 4 more in and judge us at the end of the window.
I applaud them for the last two signings.
However one or (two) signings don`t make a summer.
For me the jury is still out.

06 Aug 2022 17:15:06
The 2021/2022 season just called, they want their tactics back.

Making one change (of five available on the 85th minute).

Debbie McGee

1.) 06 Aug 2022 17:23:17
Change for who Debs?! There were no game changers on the bench due to our threadbare squad.

2.) 06 Aug 2022 17:29:18
You are right but who?

3.) 06 Aug 2022 17:32:14
Can anyone answer me why we have two strikers that were are paying good money in salaries, Cutrone and Bonatini, can't at least make the bench? I appreciate they didn't go on pre season but not to have them available just beggars belief. Could at least be an option to allow us to make more than the 1 change as Debbie mantions.

4.) 06 Aug 2022 17:36:19
Blame Shi and Sellars no one else to blame.
Put your season ticket in your free leather wallet and get ready to wave your free scarf, sorry your £800 plastic bit of
Tatt and your £3 scarf with the wrong stand emblazoned on it.
How Sellers earns a wage for doing Jack is seriously peeing me off,get big Sam in upstairs club needs a shake up right from the top

5.) 06 Aug 2022 17:38:35
Change the system is an option. Wasn’t that one of Lage’ pre-game comments, “I [Lage] am happy with the preseason and tactics”?

BL was famous for giving the kids a chance, ours get loaned out to championship clubs or “project” Grasshoppers.

I’m not saying “Fosun out” or “BL” out, but, BL really needs reinforcements! as you rightly say “the squad is threadbare”

Raul J has t been the same player since his return from a life threatening injury (can understand that), but Wolves have not been scoring enough goals for over two seasons now, that really has to be addressed.

A small squad was how Nuno wanted it (we all saw the glaring errors there) but the squad has gotten no bigger.

I just don’t t see where this is all going. And Wolves don’t either, that’s the real concern.

As TheFutureIsGold, BullysBoyII, and others have pointed out “Wolves need a director of football”.

And breathe… Debs needs a glass of white wine to chillax

6.) 06 Aug 2022 17:47:13
To follow up on my last response, if Wolves concede an early goal to Fulham next week I’d imagine the atmosphere will turn very toxic, very quickly.

7.) 06 Aug 2022 18:54:42
Not seen any highlights,so just seeing all your comments,it sounds like, same old wolves, who finished off last season, hope we get something out of the first three games this season,I believe we offered belotti,a good deal, but he's not very Interested

05 Aug 2022 17:47:30
Bruno said in today's pre-match interview "there should be more transfer activity this month"

Let's see what comes of it.

Debbie McGee

1.) 05 Aug 2022 19:21:10
I think he's said that before.

2.) 05 Aug 2022 19:24:29
He said that last year.
We continue to wait in hope rather than anticipation.

It looks like the deal is done, however, I won't be getting too excited about it until the contract is signed. Madness that he turned down Liverpool and West Ham for us (I recently asked "what can Wolves offer him that west ham can't?")

Now for the elusive striker and I think we'll all be a little happier :)
