Happy new year all, what are your thoughts on ward prowse from West Ham? I think he could be an immense signing for us and he wants out from the hammers

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2026 12:05:39
De Wolf, I suspect he will want to stay down South. A loan may be possible I suppose as he could want game time for an outside world cup call.

01 Jan 2026 12:44:47
Good shout De Wolf but I don't think he'd come to us given our situation

01 Jan 2026 14:23:30
Sorry, but no chance

01 Jan 2026 16:27:33
I think we may upset the apple šŸŽ cart and beat WHU.
Nuno will get sacked as a result but the timing - yet again - is all wrong.

01 Jan 2026 17:47:38
Ward Prowse would definitely be a great signing (and Captain)
However no chance as he wouldn’t want Championship football.
Whilst Fosun are here we are SADLY also stuck with Hwang what a farce!

01 Jan 2026 20:37:41
Ward-Prowse is a great shout and if we can’t get him to come what about Scott Twine at Bristol City takes a brilliant free kick scored against us on the cup. Aris Mehmeti is getting a few goals for Bristol as well.

The problem is getting clubs to sell their best players in January but let’s hope the club decide to throw some serious money at the situation and make a few decent signings

01 Jan 2026 09:46:21
I recorded the match against the mancs as I just couldn't bring myself to watch it live. Watched it yesterday and was really impressed. Something I couldn't understand though unless I got wrong, was after Krejci scored he ran to the left hand corner which appeared to be to hold the wolves supporters (I definitely saw one with wolves gear on) but there was no response at all, just slapped arse looks.

I know for a fact that the wolves supporters would have gone mad. If they weren't wolves supporters what was that one bloke doing there?

It was a Utd fan with a half and half scarf

01 Jan 2026 11:06:20
Doog, they were Manchester fans with half and half scarfs on, Wolves fans were opposite end of stadium.

01 Jan 2026 11:12:37
They were wearing those stupid half and half scarves! and the Wolves side was visible to the camera.

01 Jan 2026 16:38:35
Why would anyone want to wear a half and half scarf? Never heard of such a thing. As an aside, it seems that one of my wife’s and my favourite players Hughie McIlmoyle has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He used to rise like a Dolphin.

02 Jan 2026 08:03:30
There are vendors at every match trying to sell the things so, weirdly, there must be a market and not just from so called 'tourists '.

01 Jan 2026 09:56:19
Happy New Year everyone!
My tip for the Wolves . Toni Fruk, HNK Rijeka, a Croatian International.
24yo attacking midfielder. Career to date - Games 136, Goals 34, Assists 31.
Last season - 33, 11, 11.
Check him out on YouTube.
Could he be what is wanted to score those elusive goals?

01 Jan 2026 11:03:54
Arsenal are already in discussions with him.

01 Jan 2026 13:06:53
According to 'SportsMole', the reports of Arsenal interest came from Croatia but Arsenal have said there is 'no substance' to those reports!
Brighton and Everton are said to be interested but have made no moves so far.

01 Jan 2026 14:24:58
No chance of anyone with real quality coming to Wolves

Happy new year rko, let’s hope it’s better for us supporters than 2025 šŸ˜‚

31 Dec 2025 16:28:38
Now don't be calling the men in white coats for me yet but next month get in a couple of pacey players and a creative midfielder, a striker and I think we're going to go on a good run.

Sell Larsen and Andre i'm going to say keep Arias if he wants to stay as we may have finally found his position he did very well last night.

31 Dec 2025 17:37:41
I don’t necessarily disagree rko but I think good run or not the damage is already fatal, realistically we would have to win at least 13 games to be sure to stay up, and 12 to be in with a chance and I just can’t see it personally. Would love it my heart says yes but my head says no chance

31 Dec 2025 18:01:52
Good run will build confidence in the players that stay with us when we go down De wolf mate which will hopefully help us get of to a great start.

31 Dec 2025 18:30:58
11 may be just enough but yes13 should guarantee it.

31 Dec 2025 22:50:52
Good run yes but staying up is unrealistic.
If we get 20 points I’d be pleasantly surprised.

01 Jan 2026 13:22:31
If Wolves can get a run of 3 or 4 wins in a row, they will get back into the fight.
I'm not saying it is going to happen but it doesn't take a lot at the bottom of the table to gain ground.

01 Jan 2026 14:25:59
Most of these comments are delusions of grandeur

01 Jan 2026 16:20:58
Not delusions of grandeur just incurable enthusiasm, after 50 years of support we've seen it before.

31 Dec 2025 16:11:06
It's no surprise to me that our best 4 performances under Edwards have all been in our 4 away matches at Villa, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manure. Only 1pt but deserved at least 5 in my view.

Why can't we perform at home in the same way? This is due to the toxic atmosphere created by a large section of our fanbase. A fanbase who boo at every opportunity, be it slow play (keeping the ball) or a loose pass. The latter always followed by booing if we are losing. This is not a new thing at Molineux unfortunately. I no longer enjoy our home matches, not because of the winless run but because of our fanbase. Away matches, such as last night are much more enjoyable.a fanbase that supports and encourages each and every time.

I doubt if our team look forward to playing at home. I wouldn't.

It's time to get behind our players and Edwards. Fosun are going nowhere. It's not the fault of the players or Edwards that we carry such little quality up front. It's not Edwards fault thar JSL downed tools back in August.

The players, with the exception of JSL, have shown fight and the right attitude at all 4 away games such that numerous comments on here that the players do not care or are not good enough even for the championship are laughable.

We are a much better unit under Edwards and if we only had a firing front 3 we would not be in this mess. That is 100% on Fosun and Vitor.not Edwards, not the squad.

Get behind your team at Molineux, if you attend, if not please stay at home.

I think after the Liverpool and Man UTD matches the players have earned our support now it's upto them to do this at home too.

31 Dec 2025 17:02:33
Front 2 has to be Tolu and Mane. If JSL does play some part, then he has to play alongside Tolu with Mane behind them.

31 Dec 2025 17:42:23
What a load of guff, they are very highly paid professionals who are happy to take the tens of thousands in wages that the fans pay for every week but the slightest criticism, and yes this season it is very warranted they can’t perform?
All the fans want to see is fight, effort and pride to wear the old gold, and there’s far too many of them that haven’t shown that at all.

Fans are entitled to Boo and criticise just like the happy clap brigade are entitled to clap along to the dross and poor running of the club

31 Dec 2025 17:52:45
Hes got to pick a starting line up without hwang, hoever, strand larsen, and tbh doc,
Consistantly, to get confidence up.
Any one player who isn't putting it in
Can rot on the bench.
Kilman part of deal from hammers for jsl.

31 Dec 2025 19:03:26
Glad someone said it sevlow, I said much the same in the past but all you get in response is that your a happy clapper and the players earn enough to ignore the boos. There are only a few players that have a big enough ego to ignore getting abuse and unfortunately we don’t have any of them.

As my partner always reminds me when I talk about Wolves, the fans love to moan about everything, she only went once and couldn’t understand why so many fans were so negative.

Its funny de wolf was god, you say you want to see fight, effort and pride, I’ve seen that many times this season yet still a lot of fans moan and berate the team week in week out. Clearly you want more than that as your still saying they aren’t good enough and that fans are entitled to boo. Also saying people are happy clapping the poor running of the club is missing the point entirely.

31 Dec 2025 19:08:59
Who are the ones not trying De Wolf was God?

31 Dec 2025 14:40:00
Happy new year to Eds and all the people on this site enjoy don't have to much and fight the Christmas tree. Hopefully 2026 will be a lot better well can't be any worse not if your Wolves.

{Ed033's Note - Happy new year

Seen the match last night good performance on the whole if one thing Wolves don't do is move the ball quickly. Even though MU were not good it took 5 or 6 passes there up in the Wolves 18 yard box or just outside.

Wolves took 6 or seven passes just to get to the halfway line to many sideways and backwards passing. Now comes WH stop Bowen stop WH simple as 3 points looking up.

Lots of us on here were calling for Mane to start back when VP was manager, shame it has taken so long, but looking a great player now.
Wonder who else is a potentially good player not getting a chance?
