With the season all but over. Who would you like to see joining Wolves ranks, and who do you think will be sold?

(Interesting that Enzo Gonzalez was on the bench yesterday)

05 May 2024 17:02:40
Get rid of Kilman, Doherty, Silva. Bring in Eric Dier, McTominay, Rodrigo Gomes and Carlton Morris.

Let GON look at the players currently out on loan to see if they are good enough.

Send Fraser, Chiwome and Chirewa out on loan to gain some experience.

If you believe social media, we are also keeping tabs on Paul Pogba in case he wins his appeal to overturn his ban.

05 May 2024 18:38:41
Pogba, really? he brings too much drama off the pitch.

05 May 2024 20:29:11
My thoughts too. But Talking Wolves and The Wolf Pack are both saying it.

05 May 2024 14:40:42
The sooner the SKY and TNTSports bubble bursts the better imo, not only was City given a penalty that should never have been given a handball by them wasn't even looked at.
I echo what others have said the sooner the protected 6 go to a super league the better for football as a whole.
It's pathetic City are good enough to beat us they shouldn't need help, goes to show the so called big 6 aren't as good as they think they are.

05 May 2024 15:56:14
The PL are clearly utilising VAR as a means to control outcomes of games to favour the big clubs and ensure their involvement in Europe. The mid table also rans like us are there to make up numbers and provide a semblance of a competition. I wish the big six would nail their colours and depart to a European league, and allow the rest to compete on a level playing field in a real competition without the interference of VAR.

05 May 2024 16:17:46
I don’t believe in this conspiracy but rather think it’s just total incompetence to be honest. Yes the first wasn’t a pen but the second prob was. Semedo was poor in his positioning and as soon as he makes a challenge and makes contact you know it will be overturned.

05 May 2024 11:50:40
It would be nice to see Solihul win today.

Sean Dyche is doing his job at Everton

05 May 2024 00:07:23
Phil, what about Birmingham City!

05 May 2024 06:44:40
Best thing for them lostcity, do well in league 1, top of league, big attendances, happy faces more income and they come back stronger than another season struggling. Of course it could go the other way, struggle and it'll be bhatti brothers wolves days. I personally think it could be a saving moment for them.

05 May 2024 12:10:58
Hopefully it will go the other way.

05 May 2024 13:39:48
Terrible for their fans.
Glad our club isn't as badly run as theirs.

04 May 2024 20:11:21
Look, we all know that the Premier League is corrupt, that is without doubt. It would be weird if any organisation or entity that produces gazillions of pounds / dollars /euros and extras floating around was not! But why does Haaland keep picking on us? Also our two best players i.e RAN and Cunha both chose to have shockers! Thought that Semedo was excellent, might be a late shout for Player of the Season! FWAW .

04 May 2024 23:08:27
I don't think they had shockers. The fact that Gvardiol ran into RAN after getting his shot away and RAN ends up being penalised might have knocked his confidence. Cunha didn't get the ball played to him because our players weren't allowed to make any sort of contact with Man City players without conceding a free kick.

I don't mind losing but for the ref to dictate the outcome is an absolute disgrace. VAR needs to go. It has taken all of the enjoyment out of the game. It is not correcting mistakes, it is confirming mistakes made by incompetent referees.

05 May 2024 00:53:25
Pawson and Atwell need investigating.

05 May 2024 06:56:43
I thought we were looking quite organised and ready for what we knew would be a tough game until the first pen decision, then there was a resignation of the 'forces' being against us again and no matter what we did we wernt going to get anywhere. The head drops and the morale is taken from you. The effort is sapped and concentration goes. Mistakes occur and you hand the opposition chances that they won't fluff. All 5 goals were as a result of A. Var/ref then poor effort awareness by us. Its pretty clear to me that VAR is dictating outcomes directly and indirectly. Scrap the system now and let's get back to game that can be be debated not dictated.

05 May 2024 08:32:39
The sooner we get a super league the better. Bin these untouchables off and start making the league competitive again like the Championship. City are a good side. Their bench cost more than our squad, but once you're playing against the Ref, VAR etc the outcome is predetermined and it's just a matter by how much. Once the first penalty was given we gave up. it was never a penalty in the first instance but I think all the injustices over this season have finally got to our players and TBH who can blame them. For me another hollow victory for the elite. I'll also add that I don't expect City or any of these 'elite' teams will get punished by the PL for FFP breaches. In short this league is quickly becoming a joke. The best league in the world! If it continues in this vein it'll just become a laughing stock.

05 May 2024 10:22:33
Agree. It already started before the game with the O'Neil banned and choice of VAR and on field ref. After the first pen we all know where it was going. And I think the players knew it to.City should be good enough to win a home game without this rubbish.

05 May 2024 10:57:18
The MotD team said it was a ridiculous penalty. Gvardiol had already got his shot away which was going high, wide and handsome and then during his follow through, made contact with AIT. How exactly did AIT stop a goal scoring opportunity considering the attacker had already fluffed his shot?

Well at least we know for next season that against the Sky 6 we'll be playing 11v13.

05 May 2024 12:12:52
Rubbish Jas. Micah Richards said it was a penalty. Remind me who he used to play for.

05 May 2024 13:00:33
Micah Richards showed his impartiality yesterday.

04 May 2024 20:00:18
Something needs to be done about VAR. It is just becoming silly now and soon, the PL will become a laughing stock.

Pawson made it clear with the early penalty that Wolves are NOT to go anywhere near the Man City players or they'll be penalised. From that moment on, you could see it affected the players.

On another note. Another performance by Kilman which shows that he's only decent when Craig Dawson plays alongside him so if a decent offer comes in for him, then we should snap the buying teams hands off.

04 May 2024 22:44:54
I agree Jas, He's certainly not captain material.

05 May 2024 00:14:03
£30 million sounds about right.

04 May 2024 17:54:21
Clear and obvious penalty!? What a shame of a refereeing decision, the ball was already over the bar before they collided . It sucks all enjoyment of a fair competition from the game. As for us can someone explain the offside rule to hwang, he's stopped us moving forward on 4 occasions so far.

04 May 2024 18:06:45
Phil Foden told the ref it was a penalty. TBH though we're not in the game.

04 May 2024 18:25:14
I bet you after the match, Pep will say Wolves we're unlucky to have the penalties given against them. Do you know why? Neither of them were penalties.

The refs have been told to ensure Arsenal and Man City remain involved in a 2 way tussle for the title at all costs.

VAR needs to be got rid off. It has totally destroyed our game.

04 May 2024 18:45:04
Think you can count on one hand the games where we haven’t been victims of dubious decisions this season. No wonder so many fans are walking away.

04 May 2024 20:11:49
I'm done with the Premier league, match was rigged.

04 May 2024 20:26:16
5 goals, 1 no pen, 2 given away after our throw on half way gets played backwards, 3 unfortunately a pan, 4 kilman let's his man free and dosnt stoo him turning to his left foot, 5 toti dosnt control ball and let's city in. Shoddy play against City, but I honestly think our spirit was taken away by the first 'pen' given without due scrutiny and too readily. Foden showed his sportsmanship, what a lovely man. At that point I almost gave up too, what chance of putting up a fight when the VAR decusions were going to make sure City would take the points. When our manager is sat away in the stand because he voiced his opinions for VAR being wrong.

I stuck with it tho, and was relived it was only 5 in the end. Football has got to change or regrettably for I shall look for results but little more. VAR and the money is killing our game. Don't get me wrong I never expected much other than a City win tonight but I think if it was a fairer game we'd have put a stronger performance in. I'm not sad to lose that game, but I'm despondent about the game in the future. As was heard, it's not football anymore.

04 May 2024 21:44:32
Well said Abbey. The ref made sure that the Wolves players knew they would be punished if they dared take in City.

04 May 2024 17:44:00
Craig PoorSon, hang your head in shame. That was never a penalty.

It's clear that VAR are useless.

04 May 2024 18:27:51
Don't understand. Why foden hasn't been booked. He goes whining to Dawson every time there's a foul etc. Even simulating a card, both that and the first one he wasn't going to give till foden opened his big gob, must be taught in to them
Cheating lot
Let's face it vars designed for top teams anyway
Might as well be in championship
Would enjoy it more

04 May 2024 18:35:19
The second pen that was clear pen gets scrutised over and over, how do VAR function? We're not at the races now and I fear for the 2nd half. A few hotheads, understandably, but we don't need red cards.

04 May 2024 18:46:15
Jas it’s not var it’s ———- Attwell again!

04 May 2024 19:07:19
Pawson has basically told the Wolves players that he's going to give Man City all the decisions and therefore Wolves players won't commit to tackling because they'll be penalised.

04 May 2024 19:19:24
No hard feelings Citeh but when their day of judgement comes I hope their punishment is MASSIVE!

04 May 2024 22:18:25
Hear hear vintage
Can't come soon enough, and do you know, I think pep knows it's coming, should be put into, national league

04 May 2024 14:50:15
My work colleagues will be gutted.
Birmingham relegated to league 1.

Leeds Southampton Norwich WBA.

Prefer Norwich to win playoffs.

Leicester, Ipswich.?
We'll be playing next season.

04 May 2024 15:29:02
I'd prefer Norwich Phil, we need to wear our change straps for good reasons. Seriously Southampton seem the the team at the moment but who knows? As long as the tesco lot stay where they are.

04 May 2024 16:13:40
Southampton for me appear to be the team most likely.
