This picture of Raul at Molinuex talking to the camera in the new kit is fake, so fans are aware.
Wolves have had discussions with Raul Jimenez over a return to the club, as we reported previously, and the player is due to make a decision on his future this summer.
03 Jun 2026 14:43:52
The Debet sponsorship boards and the club badge on the strip gave it away instantly.
01 Jun 2026 19:41:12
Heard from a friend of mine that Raul is nearly done and is to be confirmed with the kit launch. Obviously don't know how true it is, but the same person was telling me line ups last season before they were announced and were spot on.
01 Jun 2026 20:52:35
That's good enough for me. All the Molineux faithful need to ready themselves for the loudest "Si Senor" in history. Loud enough to reduce the Hawthorns to rubble.
02 Jun 2026 06:41:50
Would be great, Willenhall, but I have a feeling that the new kit launch will coincide with Trippier announcement as captain.
02 Jun 2026 06:46:05
Aren't Mexico playing Serbia on Friday? Will he leave the World Cup camp to be unveiled at Molineux?
02 Jun 2026 09:27:23
Not sure at all, guys, I very rarely post on here unless it's info I have received from someone who has given me truths before. Not saying it is true, of course, it is correct that he will be with the World Cup squad, but could also have already been recorded, possibly? Like I say, I don't know for certain.
02 Jun 2026 18:57:07
Hope it's true, Willenhall.
02 Jun 2026 22:53:06
I can see three being announced: Trippier, Raul and Saiss.
Just as all three have been hinted at over the past month.
I think the next step may need some patience, with J Gomes, Tolu, Doc, Hwang, Jackson and Wolfe being sold.
This is where it would get tricky, though, as they still need a cb with pace, x2 cms, and 2 maybe 3 forwards that can stretch defences.
I’d keep Sa, but looks like he may be going. So maybe 1 or 2 keepers. Sure, Ruddy has left Newcastle... 😉
Another experienced squad player, Dendoncker would be useful, as he can play in defence and in cdm.
A back 5 of Trippier, Donk, Bueno, Saiss, Bueno.
If we go to a back 4, you need pace, so Donk and Saiss drop off our scale a little bit.
CM Devine, Doyle and Kante with Andre would be Bostin.
This is no disrespect to Mane, Edozie and Abby. I think they will develop into great players. Do they stay and do a year and play cup games at Wolves? Must be strange, not knowing how to react after getting senior games in your teens.
But the squad last season was pathetically short. Are they up for the fight?
Forwards: Wilson (on a free), Solly March (free, good squad player), Tyrique George (I know, sounds bananas, but same age as Mane, may be able to form a good combination loan with obligation to buy).
I’d love some players with flair and excitement again to play with Raul. Give me Caveleiro, Costa, Jota, Neto, Cunha, Trincao, Podence, Traore, Sarabia. 😎 We had it too good.
03 Jun 2026 09:02:06
Pretty sure that any signings that are made have to be homegrown, as we have to sell an overseas player before signing another. So, unless an overseas player leaves before Friday, I doubt either Raul or Saiss will be unveiled. But if Joao and Sa do leave, then it may become a possibility.
03 Jun 2026 11:32:13
It's 7 homegrown players in an 18 man match day squad (as there's 7 subs).
First-team homegrown players: Trippier, Doc, Doyle, Mane, Armstrong, Hugo Bueno, Abby, Edozie, Johnstone and Bentley.
Also Chimone, Alfie Pond, Nathan Fraser and Okoduwa would be homegrown as well.
I think they will be announced, as we will sign Devine, Simms and Paterson, so that's another 3 homegrown players.
03 Jun 2026 12:21:36
It's 8 in the 25-man registered squad. But, you've included Doc, who is definitely leaving, as well as Johnstone and Bentley, who are more than likely leaving. You've also put Pond and Fraser, which implies that they will be named as part of the 25-man squad.
03 Jun 2026 12:44:37
They can sign any time, as there is no need for them to be registered yet.
03 Jun 2026 13:02:04
Wolf is staying, it's been confirmed, but I'll be intrigued to see if Raul & Saiss turn up in the new kit (Tripper is still on holiday).
01 Jun 2026 16:40:51
We rumours to be after Sunderland no2 Anthony Paterson keeper.
01 Jun 2026 10:48:37
There's rumours of Kretiji to Palace 25mil.
01 Jun 2026 11:11:56
Last night it was said that Leeds had agreed a £26m deal.
The BBC article regarding the Trippier signing said Krejci, Sa, and Hwang were likely to leave, and there was another article, which said Krejci had instructed his agent to negotiate a move, as he had no intention of staying at Molineux.
01 Jun 2026 12:58:34
Anyone who genuinely wants out, probably the quicker the better at this stage. No point in losing players on deadline day, it's just a waste of pre-season.
30 May 2026 11:56:46.
Is Trippier confirmed?
Think he takes set pieces as well, realise he getting on a bit, however I think it is a good deal.
Doesn’t mean I am convinced with Rob’s management or that Nathan is going to be the saviour but a good start I think. Happy for an early signing as well, we need many more though, a striker or 3 would be good.
30 May 2026 14:42:56
Yes, it's confirmed. Keen and Fabrizo have both confirmed it.
30 May 2026 15:00:25
No, it's not confirmed until he passes a medical. Nothing on Wolves official site.
30 May 2026 15:55:52
It's confirmed we've made an offer to him.
30 May 2026 17:30:53
The deal is done in principle, but cannot be completed until 1st July, when Trippier's Newcastle contract expires, unless Newcastle releases him early.
31 May 2026 10:59:11
I'm sure it will all happen when he returns from his holiday.
31 May 2026 19:45:50
It's odd it's been leaked before the club confirm it.
Is that the club's decision to attract other players, or by the agents to try and get a better deal?
Still early days in the summer, and it is good to hear experience is being targeted early on.
But why aren't we targeting pace up front?
Free agents that would be useful for this.
Harry Wilson and Allan Saint-Maximin.
Also I think it will be interesting what Edwards does. Do we stick with a back 3 or move to a back 4?
Arguably the two Buenos should stay, but the rest of the defence isn't good enough.
I like the idea of Andre staying. I think Doyle and Devine would be shrewd players to have in midfield. But Kante from Middlesbrough would be smart as well. Having 4 midfielders allows flexibility with formation. You need to be able to play 2 or a 3. One reason we got relegated so pathetically was the opposition just pressed Andre and Joao.
Also we have forwards, but there seems to be no plan yet on what we are doing. So we may have Raul (who isn't quick), then Armstrong who is a solid Championship striker.
We need pace. It's a defender's worst nightmare.
01 Jun 2026 15:24:25
Agree we need pace going forward. Harry Wilson is never joining us though. He will have aims of joining a top-half Prem side. I imagine Villa might go in for him.
01 Jun 2026 17:44:46
Maybe...
I think fans forget that PSR is hard on all clubs these days.
As a homegrown player, they set higher salaries, as they are worth more to clubs in the UK.
Wilson, Elliott, McAtee, Tyrique George sound mad, but maybe one would be the catalyst to get promoted.
And, for any young player, the lessons are out there. Elliott and McAtee haven't loved their moves to Villa and Forest respectively.
02 Jun 2026 19:24:26
That's true. However, Wilson is 29 and was class last season. I do think we should go for more homegrown players, though.
29 May 2026 21:21:26
Jordan James and Ellis Simms both on radar apparently.
30 May 2026 06:28:48
Villarreal have put an offer in for James. Doesn't say how much, but reports say Rennes want 10 to 12 mill.
29 May 2026 13:55:49
Verbal agreement in place for Wolves to sign free agent Kieran Trippier on a two-year contract with the option of a third year. Medical to follow.
29 May 2026 15:53:18
Hopefully he'll be the captain - and the only captain. Wolves do not need a bloody 'leadership group'. Too many cooks and all that.
29 May 2026 20:09:44
Good to see Trippier coming here. Changing subject, can anyone explain how on earth Angel Gomes played for England? The only reason I can think of is he played for Man Utd; playing for them seems a guarantee of a cap. Worth it or not. Like a little boy lost, in my opinion. Perhaps the manager sees him differently.
29 May 2026 20:48:45
Angel Gomes earned his England caps whilst playing for Lille, and he actually did well there. He's been rubbish for us, though, and I think he's already said he won't be signing for us.
31 May 2026 11:01:50
Good. He's a lightweight. I've only ever seen him have one reasonable game. You are (one of a few) the weakest link, goodbye.
29 May 2026 13:11:57
Wolves agreed deal with Trippier 2 years with option for a 3rd.
29 May 2026 13:45:34
If this is correct, it may explain Matt Doherty throwing his toys out of the pram.
29 May 2026 11:32:45
Tottenham apparently sniffing around Rodrigo Gomes. Will be a very decent player for Wolves in the Championship, but a good offer will see him leave.
29 May 2026 20:45:51
Trippier captain for sure. Part of the deal. If R Gomes leaves, it's gotta be 40mil. The guy is class and will get better.
26 May 2026 14:55:30
What’s happened with Matt Doherty? Seems he’s deleted all his Wolves posts. Think it’s certain he’s been told his contract won’t be renewed for another season but probably done in the usual hard-handed and insensitive way that upset previous players. Joao Moutinho, for example. Would have thought he could be quite useful in the Champ but what do I know?
26 May 2026 16:02:05
I was going to ask about Doc as well, 47Vintage, presume he has fallen out with Rob or other way round.
Thought he may have been useful in the Championship as well.
Seems they have not changed in their treatment of players when they decide they no longer want them.
26 May 2026 17:02:39
I remember Martin O'Neill slating him. On Talksport a few months ago.
26 May 2026 20:17:35
Rumours are he had a bust up, turns out he was one of the cowards he was referring to after all.
27 May 2026 15:34:44
Well said, Rko. If he's going to throw his toys, then sod him. He should remember that Wolves signed him when he was about two stone overweight and more interested in playing golf.
26 May 2026 09:35:34
Nuno's contract with West Ham has a relegation clause and he can be sacked without compensation.
27 May 2026 09:50:26
Nuno staying at West ham so guess we are stuck with Edwards.
