Regardless of what we all think of Rob and his management and playing style, I am happy with the signings of Raul and Trippier. We need experience as well as younger players.
New GK is also much needed. Good to see signings in early as well.
Many more players to move over the summer but positive signs compared to recent transfer windows.

I understand that RE did inherit a poisoned chalice of a squad, Banksy, which may have impacted on our playing style somewhat. So, if he does want to play an attacking game (music to my ears), let's all hope the new squad is put together in such a way to deliver that.
It does seem different, having activity so early in the window, unlike under Jeff, so was he the real villain of the piece and not Fosun? Personally, I'm beginning to believe he was, as they had no choice but to let him run the show, albeit for too long.

Nathan, on the other hand, seems to be listening to those who are more football savvy, with surprisingly pleasing results so far.
Let's all hope we can start looking forward not only to the weekend again, but also an improvement in the club's off the pitch management as well.
As you say, positive signs so far, so let's hope it is the start of a new era.

If Wolves are getting rid of the players that need to be binned, and selling the players that want to leave, they'll need a lorry load of players. Not one of the keepers is worth keeping. Most of the defence is crap. Most of the midfielders are no good, and the strikers Wolves do have couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.

I think Bentley is fine as a back up option in the Champ, provided the first choice is good enough to start most weeks. Nice to see Raul back, but surely this means Tolu is now on his way?

100%. It'll be Raul with Armstrong playing off him. I think that's why Wolves want Che Adams, as he can play off a bigger front man. Wolves will definitely need a younger target man.

Hi, Anyone know if the new Wolves shirt is available in adult sizes without the sponsor? Think the shirt looks class, love the city crest - takes me back as I remember my Dad having the Goodyear one with the city crest on it! Refuse to wear shirts with betting sponsors though (even though the 'Midnite' admittedly looks quite cool as far as sponsors go).

And don't think I'll squeeze into a kids' size...

So far the 'rebuild' has been encouraging but will the re-signing of Jimenez be an inspired move or another Costa?
I know Danny Welbeck did a job for Brighton at a similar age but the Championship is in some ways tougher on players than the Prem.
For me, they'll need to find a Jimenez mark II to supplement the striker position as we can't ever again become a low scoring side.

It's not being negative, just a tad concerned.
Having said all that, a striker can only be successful if he gets the service so let's see how things progress, early days yet.

We probably need around a dozen new players. Longmynd and, hopefully, Trippier are just the start of a long line of newcomers and also outgoers. Only time will tell if the club gets things anywhere near right, but at least the Trippier acquisition is a positive start and might persuade others to sign up too.

Agree with what you say, really. Can't see Raul starting much, though, as we need someone a bit younger (as you say a Jimenez mk 11) to complement Armstrong. However, in saying that, what a player to bring on.

Someone who gets in the right places to score. Tolu or Raul? I know who I'd prefer.
May the positive signs of the squad rebuild continue.

35 these days, with up-to-date training methods, diets and fitness regimes, is nothing like 35 of 20-plus years ago. Players were once considered over the hill as soon as they turned 30.

It's all down to the individual's body, and, if Raul does come, I can't see there being that much bench-warming. If that was on the cards, then I'm sure he'd want to go to the MLS.

Raul will be starting. As mentioned, he's not coming to get splinters on his backside. His hold-up play will be a dream to Armstrong and Mane, but only if we get the right players around them. But all this is only possible if Edwards gets it right & that's my big concern.
