Kieran Trippier has re-iterated his commitment to Wolves, despite Rob Edwards' sacking.

The right back has exchanged messages already with new WWFC boss Cesar Peixoto with the head coach making it clear that Trippier is crucial for his plans.

Which seems to imply that the naughty keyboard warriors and Daily Fails of the media cesspit were wrong from the start. Can't help it, but I really do despise sloppy reporting and Internet bs. I have long thought that the social media ban they are talking about should be extended to these idiots who tell fibs for clickbait.

Exactly what I was thinking, Malcwulf. Spot on!

Football Insider print nothing but lies, but the worst has to be Hakimisports. Today they printed that Cesar Peixoto had ruthlessly axed 5 players from his squad and told them that they do not form part of his plans.

The 5 are: Jose Sa, Boubacar Traore, Sasa, Jonny Castro Otto and Pablo Sarabia. Even worse is the fact that some have commented and called Otto and Sarabia a disgrace. It seems anyone can write any old s*** and print it.

Sasa Kalajdzic coming back to Wolves? Yes, please. Superb hold up skills, ideal player to battle Jimenez for the 9 position. He’s contracted to Wolves until 2027, with the option of another year. However, if a decent bid comes in, he’ll likely go.

When Wolves played in the Championship under Nuno, there was a whole heap of rubbish in the squad. Thankfully this time it’s not as bad. Not that much work to do to slim the squad down for fresh players coming in.

Just seen a report that Coventry are interested in Angel Gomes. I would have thought they had higher ambitions than that he was absolute rubbish for us.

Quite a few who were rubbish for us have done alright for themselves, loads of 'em are at the World Cup, perhaps Fosun's ninth managerial appointment might do better with what he's given to work with. You'd really think they'd have worked out where the problem lies by now.

Harry Kane would probably have been rubbish for us last season as well. Strikers need service. Thankfully, last season's nightmare of Jeff's misfits is firmly in the rear-view mirror, and we have a forward-looking new head coach in place now.

It's something that I just can't get my head around; surely, if they were that crap, they wouldn't be playing at the World Cup. For whatever reason, it just didn't click, and it always looked disjointed.

Poor organiation and motivation, thats all I can put it down to, Mrv.

Glad Rob Edwards has gone. Chuffin' useless. Dreadful football. When he knew that he was going to switch to a back four, why didn't he implement that system when Wolves were down? Wolves were relegated the day he came in.

Why not play a back four and give Moller Wolfe game time? Because he wanted to keep picking his boy, Hugo Bueno. Sorry, but Wolfe is a better defender and equally as effective going forward. That was obvious from the minute Wolfe kicked a ball for Wolves.

Bye bye, Rob. Another Jeff Shi nightmare gone.

CEO's aren't the nightmare makers, it's the ones who put them in a position they have no experience in.

Sorry, clapped out, I beg to differ.
My opinion is Hugo is better than Wolfe.
But time will tell.

Gustava Sa is an attacking midfielder. He is 21.

There has been some posts regarding Traore. He certainly wasn't the most consistent Wolves player. Who remembers his two goal brace against Man City a few seasons ago. On his good day, very hard to stop. If he returned he would be a handful for some Championship defenders.

He's past it. It's time our fans stopped pining for ex players to return (except Neves, of course) and move on.

Have to agree, Rates buddy, it feels like the scouting team have opened up a saved document from 2018 and are working their way through the list from back then!
As a club, we need to start a whole new chapter and start creating some new heroes, nice to have Raul back but that's enough reunions for one window. 👍

Rated and Bb, totally understand what you are saying, but if Ran, Neto and Cunha came on season-long loans, I wouldn't mind?

Kieran Trippier will 100% be a Wolves man next season. There is absolutely no chance he leaves.

Just listened to Peixoto's first interview since becoming Manager.
What I'm hearing was music to my ears, a demanding coach wanting strong attacking football played by a well organised team that will play the way he needs them to.
Pace, energy and pride, seems to sum up his style so we could be in for a busy window, an intense pre-season and a team that can hit the ground running from the get go.

Let's just hope he gets the players he needs to pull this off as it should be an exciting ride if he does.

Why does he look like Hans Gruber from Die Hard? Especially the smile.

He reminds me more of the Predator. The 1987 one.

Just reading loads of different articles about Peixoto.

He likes to play high-pressing, attacking football. He likes his teams to close down the opposition quickly, and he is willing to change tactics mid-game. He is also a bit of a disciplinarian and will command respect and effort from the players.

Isn't that what every manager says? What did Rob want? Boring sideways, negative football? I hope I'm wrong, but right now it's just words.

I think the difference this time, Old, is that the Club approached him because that fits with the identity they now want to build. Under Jeff, it was just survival in the Prem, which we all knew would bring us to this point.
Nathan Shi seems to be looking to facilitate this change, which will include a clear out of players and the signing of those that are a better fit with the alleged new strategy.

We certainly seem to have started on that tack, so fingers crossed it is more than just words.

Totally agree, Old. Action speaks louder than words.
