A we informed friend has told me that they are working towards a main defender (Dias) and an CAM/ CF who goes by the name Bruno Fernandes uncle Jorge is working his magic behind the scenes to get the best possible deals for us. That’s our first two targets. We are meant to be getting Cisse as Nuno sees us as short in that position and we are also looking for competition in the forward position. Can say 100% this is true but this is the whispers around that are being heard down Compton as medical have apparently been booked but as everyone who’s a wolves fan knows getting any info is like blood out a stone.

1.) 24 Jul 2019 09:59:14
Fernandes? . I know we are ambitious but that falls into the realms of fantasy.

2.) 24 Jul 2019 22:17:49
Now being linked by Sky Italy to Sami Khedira and Moses Kean.

3.) 24 Jul 2019 22:45:31
If Everton are in for Moise Kean don't see why we shouldn't be. Easily as much potential as Cutrone.

Considering he appears to be turning us down.

10 Jul 2019 10:24:08
A friend of a friend is good pals with Laurie and the waves that are coming out is that we have 2 potential deals that will be over the line and announced while we are in China to again be used as publicly to raise the clubs profile in China. No names where mentioned but both will be 1st team squad players.

1.) 10 Jul 2019 11:44:07
Garbage-there will be no signings.

2.) 10 Jul 2019 12:39:16
Yannick Carrasco and Anderson Talisca are joining Wolves

Hugely popular in China and want to challenge themselves in the Premier League

Diego Costa is being looked at for a season long loan.

What a time to be a Wolves fan!

3.) 10 Jul 2019 12:51:30
Oh SQ, you've let yourself down. Go back to the rumours page of the team you actually support and I wish you all the best.

4.) 10 Jul 2019 13:34:27
Diego Costa, Yannick Carrasco and Anderson Talisca - How I’d love all of this to be true but just can’t see it happening. Even one of these players joining us would be fantastic.

Interesting that T. Spiers has t used his “reports are wide of the mark” catch phrase regarding Costa to Wolves though.

5.) 10 Jul 2019 14:11:57
SQ. Which team do you support?

6.) 10 Jul 2019 14:12:47
SQ you are going to worry yourself into an early grave. There will not be loads of new players joining us not should there be. You seem to have learned little about the Nuno and Fosun culture. U23 players will get their chance in the Europa and any other new signings will have to wait their chance on the bench like Donk did. Still plenty of time for the one or two quality additions.

7.) 10 Jul 2019 17:32:37
He’s been sacked now so.

Watched today game thought looking at the set up it looked solid but still no strength in depth which I think is our problem and will always be our problem when results are going against us.
For me there’s a few players who need moving on and we desperately need a cb maybe even two that are of the standard of Willy Boly. Bennett and Saiss are just not good enough at this level I have said it before and I will say it again when both play well and have good games they are ok but if they have any off days they just simply aren’t good enough and as for Saiss’s second yellow what a total and utter idiot. We also need cover for midfield as we only have 3/ 3 and a half midfielders (half being Gibbs white as he’s not fully ready for this level he’s good on his day but has a lot to learn)
I just feel sorry for our lads upfront they are all living on scraps.

1.) 22 Sep 2019 16:21:18
Agree with everything you've said here, i've said it time and time again Saiss is a red card waiting to happen.
Hopefully this will now be the turning point in our season and we start to get results, there is no ifs or buts about it Saturday is a huge match for us and imo a must win.
Traore is looking a much better player this season, and remember when Jota got his goal last season after a drought? We were unstoppable let's hope history repeats itself.
Wednesday i'd like to see neto and cutrone start upfront together see how they gel and I think we'll see a few of the kids and jordao too.

2.) 23 Sep 2019 15:23:00
I think he will rest many of the players Coady never has a rest and with Saiss out Neves and MGW will surely start maybe Jordao too probably Kilman and Vallejo next to Coady.

Im not one to moan as I do think Nuno is a brilliantly talented manager and this is really one of only two or three blips in his tenure as our head coach/ manager but he seriously needs to address these defensive issues we have. I believe that targets he wanted went by the by for ffp reasons or players not wanting to come etc it doesn’t matter the reason all that matters is the squad is the squad till January.
For me we need a serious plan B and players to snap out of this half arsed/ not in form for what ever reason play they are currently giving.
Jonny. Boly. Coady. Doc
Neves. Dendoncker. Moutinho
Catrone. Raul.

1.) 20 Sep 2019 01:40:28
Yes these are the players we've got till january. if we don't get out of this run of form . we will be rock bottom come xmas . and nuno will be gone. maybe sooner if we lose next two games. the players don't seem in a good frame of mind. just wonder if they know something we dont?

2.) 20 Sep 2019 10:35:59
Something we all don’t know, what was the reason for the ‘breakdown in relationship’’ which saw Dalrymple sacked? Things haven’t been right since, wrong players leaving the Club, players signed for the wrong positions, manager seems to have lost the ability to manage and his team are just going through ‘the motions’. No unity between the board, the management and the players, soon to be the fans as well, We’ve seen it all before, we sort of know what happens next.

Any news on when our squad numbers are announced me and the missus want to order shirts and don’t want to order them until we know the score with regards to squad numbers etc any ideas? Thanks.

1.) 28 Jul 2019 15:54:13
Think squad numbers will be announced later this coming week. Possibly waiting to get a couple of deals over the line first. fingers crossed.

06 Jul 2019 13:53:26
Hi just a quick one regarding squad numbers. I know some people don’t mind this but me and a friend had a few in the pub and he was asking me about the whole 11 for Rui. After a few pints and explaining the kemes situation he understood.
But as for vacancies in shirts what are people’s thoughts should we try to fill
1,3,4,6,maybe 7,10,12,13,14,20,21 before giving out higher squad numbers?
Personally it’s is clear signing will be made and we need to see who comes in but I would like to see Rui 1 Jonny or Ruben 3 new cb 4 Dendoncker 6 Jota 7, 10 or 11 which ever be prefers. And new signing around aswell
What are people’s thoughts?

1.) 06 Jul 2019 14:44:04
Players will be assigned their preferred numbers. Last season we had the likes of Batth and Miranda who took numbers and this season we've got Helder Costas number free.

2.) 07 Jul 2019 14:31:14
That's a quick one!

19 Jul 2018 14:49:55
I am very disappointed we haven't made abit more headway with new signings. It's not all doom and gloom I think signings made etc have been good not over priced etc just when you see Carvalho going to Real Betis for 16m that would of been a great addition to the squad for the money that would of been spend. I just hope we don't leave it much longer to get a few (a striker a midfielder and a center half minimum) . If we don't I'm not sure we will have enough of a squad not to be in the relegation batte but I don't see us finishing in the top 10 if we don't make these few additions. I would also like the see them in sooner rather than later as it gives Nuno time to get the new players into the Wolves way mind set and getting to know the team before the first game of the season.

1.) 19 Jul 2018 18:44:46
Yow’d Be more disappointed if ya was a baggie or a villain. Cheer up will ya!

2.) 19 Jul 2018 22:42:13

Yes he has brought in a lot of players into the under 23s but they have a big step up going in to div one now also and we did release 8 so just replacing players who left with better one to either make profit on or hopefully get in our first team in the future costing a fraction now of what they may cost in a few years for us to bring in a good example of this is the PSG youth captain brought in he looks like he could really be some player in the next few years.

IMO your right on numbered days for both Coady has been a brilliant player for us and I still think he will play a part.

That’s exactly how the new law works in a nutshell it’s just disappointing no common sense can be used in these situations as it was clear there was no way he could get out the way.

Yes think that’s a sensible option but I can’t see it happening if he’s playing well he isn’t going to want to come and sit on our bench instead of playing and Norwich definitely won’t want to let him go unless they go down at end of the season but by then his valuation will be silly.
