So those moaning about us bring in Neto, I told you he was quality now will you believe in Fosum and Nuno?
Anyway what a result our highest ever agg score in Europe.
Contre continues to impress me, Neto wow what a player, MGW finally getting his first team goal and the icing on the cake Jotas amazing overhead goal.
Best of all I was there to see it all happene, onto Italy next a tough test but I think we will go through.

Yeah agree vinagre though man of match, he is that good, will play for Madrid or Barcelona for me one day, Neto looks good give him a couple of months he will be pushing Jota and Jimenez, Torino will be a different story though,

Agree rates, I got sick of people moaning we needed an attacking midfielder and I kept saying we just spent nearly 20m on 2 of them. Very impressed with work rate of both neto and cutrone and as you say give them a bit of time and watch them go. Definitely think we improved the squad depth so looking forward to another cracking season. COYW.

Agree with the above posts. Too many fans were moaning about our transfer window. They have such short memories or they don't really support Wolves. Would they prefer the days of signing Grant Holt in League One? One fan said we would pay for being in Europe and our "lack" of signings when we faced Leicester. Leicester were lucky to avoid defeat.

The fans were moaning, rightfully, because Nuno said he didn't want to bring that many player in. He signed a lot of U23s, which changes the whole idea of using them as support. He also signed a lot of the players later on in the window.

Yes he has brought in a lot of players into the under 23s but they have a big step up going in to div one now also and we did release 8 so just replacing players who left with better one to either make profit on or hopefully get in our first team in the future costing a fraction now of what they may cost in a few years for us to bring in a good example of this is the PSG youth captain brought in he looks like he could really be some player in the next few years.

Can we all be clear that Nuno doesn't sign players to go into the U23s. The academy guys take care of that. And I doubt Nuno, like most modern managers, has much input into first team transfer dealings. He'll rely on scouting reports and be presented with a list. He'll then probably give his input before it's handed over to Jeff and Thelwell to work through a who they can afford and who they can convince the owners to release. I expect 95%+ of Nuno's time is coaching and tactics.
