Wolves squad is smallish more competition for places required. Too many guys taking their place for granted. Cardiff will seek to nullify Mourinho and Neves. Bring in Saiss for Moutinho at the very least for Friday. Also need Morgan Gibbs White to start in central midfield ( drop Costa) . I would drop Patricio, his distribution is simply not there. Give Big John a game!

1.) 26 Nov 2018 22:58:44
Oh god not Saiss no he is a red card waiting to happen.

2.) 27 Nov 2018 02:37:59
Patricio

Dendoncker Coady Boly

Saiss
Doc neves MGW vinagre

Traore (free role)

Jimenez.

3.) 27 Nov 2018 07:42:49
If a defender needs to be dropped it's Boly. He messes around too much.

4.) 27 Nov 2018 07:45:21
Interesting how your line up on here is different to the banter page. Make your mind up😆😆.

5.) 27 Nov 2018 12:37:05
Sorry camo I posted the wrong the one.

6.) 28 Nov 2018 14:06:06
Drop Patricio? Are you for real? I’m done with this page. Laughable.

7.) 30 Nov 2018 18:56:23
Drop Patricia Keep of drugs and booze.

13 Sep 2018 09:57:55
I think another striker, particularly if Raul isn’t in double figures by January.

North bank62

1.) 13 Sep 2018 13:22:35
Since Jonny is a loan deal, they will probably go for a left wingback.
I don't know if there is any chance to agree to a permanent move for Jonny or a loan extension but I would try to get someone at least as good as Wolves have stated that they are not interested in developing other teams' players.
That being said, if he is the best they can get and will help them up the table, I'm sure they can live with that.

2.) 13 Sep 2018 13:23:24
I think Raul J is more of an impact type player he has been used that way in Portugal, I do love Jimmy tho, he is a great player in the way we play, in january I see 3 players coming in, a fullback to cover doc, possibly a centermid depending on the dendonker situation, and a striker.

3.) 13 Sep 2018 13:28:05
There were only 22 players who reached double figures for the whole of last season let alone up to January.

Relax and have faith. It's about the team working well together and the goals coming from all around the team not just one main striker.

4.) 13 Sep 2018 14:26:38
Well said Peter, you missing me?

5.) 14 Sep 2018 01:31:18
I definitely think we need a striker, there's speculation that rashford could be listed on loan and I doubt man it's will loan to title rival so maybe there's an opportunity 👍 I prefer Jonny on the right so a lwb needed with doherty, jota and costa looking out of their depth at the moment.

6.) 14 Sep 2018 09:42:06
Would like to see Mir getting a chance when he comes back.

7.) 14 Sep 2018 10:40:22
Costa looking out of his depth what team you watching?

8.) 14 Sep 2018 12:39:39
Taking the Pizzi. Yet another Portuguese player joining Wolves in December, from Benfica.

9.) 14 Sep 2018 21:03:48
Are you sure WobblyBobblies? I only ask because the transfer window is not open until January.

10.) 15 Sep 2018 11:02:50
Well rated RKO it looks as if you must know more than Steve Bull who has rated the two best players as Patricio and Costa. But what does he know?

11.) 15 Sep 2018 11:04:19
Its alright saying have Rashford on loan, but cannot see that happening unless we have the option of buying him at the end of loan, which I don't think utd will let happen.

12.) 15 Sep 2018 11:39:26
OGW, it's Chrisyap who said Costa wasn't good enough not Rated RKO.

13.) 15 Sep 2018 15:33:27
OGW read my post again correctly.

14.) 15 Sep 2018 19:41:44
Apologies. Happy to be corrected. It was obviously the post you were commenting on that I hadn't connected to so I thought your comment was a fresh one.

No worries OGW happens to us all mate.

We are in for Sanchez.

14 Mar 2018 11:56:01
Excellent all round performance.
What a time to be a Wolves fan. This team will only get better plus further quality to be added in the summer ahead of the Premier League. Mouth watering prospect.
Fingers crossed for Jota.

Can i just say I wasn't a Matt Docherty fan couple of years ago but the past 2 seasons the lad deserves a lot of credit for how he plays and I for 1 am very proud to say he's a player at wolves fair play to him. 👍👍👍

07 Mar 2018 22:20:03
Tonight's game so very important - great performance. Beat Villa and we are as good as up.
Great to see Afobe score, great confidence boost for him. I would like to see him start on Saturday.

North bank62

1.) 08 Mar 2018 08:59:55
He probably will instead of Leo but will Neves come in for Saiss?

16 Oct 2017 07:53:50
Last night was a watershed event. In relatively short order, Nuno has brought together a team that can now dominate this league and can go forward next year and take on the Prem. Leicester have shown what can be done - suggest everyone makes sure their passports are up to date.

North bank62

1.) 16 Oct 2017 10:14:32
Feels like the momentum we had in L1 when Jackett took over.

Remember when Helder Costa was our standout player? Now we have a team of players with his ability, probably more in some cases.

2.) 16 Oct 2017 13:26:45
After back to back relegations, and dross over a number of seasons, the feel good factor is back

We finally have a squad who can play good football with plenty of depth in the squad too.

That's magic!

3.) 17 Oct 2017 14:15:01
Magic indeed, Lovely.

We've always had a few good players. Just never 11. I was looking at the u23 team earlier. It included Zyro, Burgoyne, Ronan, Hause, Oniangue and Deslandes. All with the ability to play in the Championship. Zyro must think he's unlucky not to be on the bench in the match squad.

4.) 18 Oct 2017 14:06:10
With the undoubted depth in the squad I wouldn't be surprised if 2/ 3 of the squad players are sold in January and the money re-invested in a single stand-out player. This would help with FFP and continue the quality upgrade we are enjoying. Edwards, Bodvarsson and Dicko were sold for useful money in the bank, and we certainly haven't missed them.

5.) 19 Oct 2017 22:00:53
We expected Coady Batth Price to go but they are still there and in their own ways doing well the best old Wolves player has been Doherty really pleased he has kept his place and is a match for the new signings.

Neto to score the winner ( VAR assisted).

Excellent article by TIM in the E&S. Certainly captures the moment. Edwards and Dicko certainly deserve our utmost respect and best wishes for the future. At my age having attended WWFC since 1962 I admit I am sentimental but also realistic. The revolution at Wolves does not come with any guarantees of promotion. This revolution to my mind is a high risk strategy for what is the toughest of leagues where relatively unproven players will need to cope with the Cardiff's and Millwalls on cold wet afternoons. I would have kept Edwards and Dicko for those tough afternoons. I would have preferred to see a blend of both Mendes stable and the guys who know the Championship - at least until promotion was attained.

North bank62

1.) 30 Aug 2017 09:02:09
I agree, well done Tim. My main concern is if we do not get promotion how long will Fosun stick around and what happens to my club then.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 09:18:46
I agree. A real gamble by the new management. If we don't go up, Will we be clobbered under the Fair play rules? If Edwards had been on the pitch against my guess is we would have got a draw. I can't help feel this is all too much too quickly.

3.) 30 Aug 2017 09:55:54
"against Cardiff"

4.) 30 Aug 2017 10:23:10
To many scared of change, sod the mediocracy we've put up with for years let's strive to achieve success. FOSUN 👍.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 11:11:52
Well said PT, embrace the change guys Fosun are already running our club on a world class level, what's not to be positive about 🙂.

6.) 30 Aug 2017 11:19:19
FFS "if if if "!
If you want mediocrity go watch Burton as Moxey is there and that is what you will get.
Fosun are going for it because they only know success, something most fans have been brainwashed out of by the likes of Moxey.
Just stay with it hang on tight.

7.) 30 Aug 2017 13:02:48
Goggs 1959 fosun have said they're here for the long term to achieve success and to take wolves to levels we could only dream of only a few years ago. When they took over jeff shi stated that they wanted to buy a club that they could grow into so many levels, off the pitch, on the pitch, overseas etc. Chelsea, manchester clubs being examples. Difference being the above clubs can't grow any more than they already have. Wolves can.
finally all fosun will do is continously repeat the process were already doing and done from last season till we reach the premier league. We don't go up then players no doubt move on for huge profit or return to their parent clubs if they're on loan. The transfer fees are then re invested to start the process again and again. No way will fosun walk away without achieving their goals the sole reason chinese don't do failure in business . Its not in their culture or their governments interests to be seen to be anything other than successful.
Its absolute genious how it will play out, watford do similar only not on the scale that were doing it.
Fosun are here to stay, the football worlds wolves oyster and I for one are so grateful that atleast morgan left us in magnificent hands. Finally there's not many owners who stop off in a pub with an open wallett. that's pure pr gold.

8.) 30 Aug 2017 14:12:10
Not scared of any change PT but also have clear memories of Zenga, Solbakken etc. It is clear that the current management team have a certain focus and ambition but only time will tell if it will be effective. Fingers crossed.

Daniel Podence profile in Wikipedia has just been updated:

After some very tough negotiations and close calls, Podence joined Wolves, the most Portuguese squad outside of the national team of Portugal. This signing was confirmed after the player was seen shopping for groceries in ASDA, moments after the pen was put to the paper. Podence will join local legends and fellow Portuguese players, such as João Moutinho, Ruben Neves, Rui Patrício and Diogo Jota.

Perhaps considering a brown field site for new build stadium - although not popular with the supporters it would make economic sense and avoid disruption.

Striker ( unless Cutrone stays) and Attacking midfielder required as an absolute minimum. Could such player types not have been lined up for 1st Jan.

This team can get even better. Bring in an experienced top class attacking midfielder. Morgan would learn from him. Top 6 finish this year. Let’s go for it.
