I can't for the life of me, understand why Nuno keeps faith in Bonatini. We got away with it yesterday, but we can't be so profligate in front of goal against top teams, we won't get 30 efforts on goal and need to bury our chances every game. We need a striker, not another winger.

1.) 17 Sep 2018 12:57:35
Oh bore off. If you listen or read anything Nuno and people close to Nuno say, Bonatini and Jimenez aren’t used as “out and out” strikers, they’re there to support the wingers and wing backs in attack, link play, hold the ball up, short neat one twos to create space in behind and pull a defender out of position. Traore’s goal v West Ham was down the Bonatini coming deep for the ball and drawing the defender to come with him leaving gaps for Traore to run into. It’s the way we and many other teams play now.

2.) 17 Sep 2018 13:09:15
I can't for the life of me understand why negative fans well so called fans constantly moan no matter what.

3.) 17 Sep 2018 13:35:02
Man City 28 attempts at goal against Fulham (a promoted side) 9 on target 3 goals . yes we had 30 chances, yes we missed a few, on another day two or three or more would have gone in, Joe Hart was absolutely brilliant by the way. We’re playing the best football most of us have ever seen, The team with changes from last season have only played five matches together ( in the PREMIER LEAGUE) and are getting better and better, no player deserves to be singled out as “not good enough” the strength of the Wolf is in the pack - If Nuno picks ‘em we support ‘em!

4.) 17 Sep 2018 13:37:13
I still can't believe it's not butter.

5.) 17 Sep 2018 15:09:11
Best wolves football I've ever watched ( in 40 + years ) but we definitely need another striker in January to help Raul out. How about Tommy Orpington?

6.) 17 Sep 2018 16:35:13
We're well covered for the front three, but I do like the lad Ollie Watkins from Brentford, has promise.

7.) 17 Sep 2018 22:34:56
I'm still wishing on a star for Vincent Aboubakar! I think its unlikely cause there will be MANY watching him. As much as I rate Leo and Raul for what they bring to the team (have we already forgotten the class assist by Leo the week before?! ) . But a player like Aboubakar really would take us to the next level, that said its likely to cost £30+m so probs just a dream! COYW ;)

8.) 18 Sep 2018 19:08:39
No one would be talking about Wolves missing chances if Joe Hart hadn’t saved 2 certain goals - still a great keeper ( parents are Wolves fans) .

24 Jan 2017 15:09:23
Brin6 opines we don't need a striker. Well don't know what team he's been watching! Our strikers aren't firng at all, we need strengthening all over but according to PL he's happy with his lot.

1.) 24 Jan 2017 16:19:49
If he's happy with this lot then we're in trouble offering new contracts to Batth Edwards and now Dicko doesn't show the ambition of a football club that wants premier league football . These player's are all good player's but they are definitely championship player's we need a much better standard of player for next season if we are to really push for promotion. Hope we're not the only club in world football to have been brought by billionaire's with no ambition.

2.) 24 Jan 2017 16:50:42
I would not say they are bad players but we have to get better, realy surprised if Fosun don't invest in quality players because 1877stlukes you are right with those players you mentioned who have sighned new contracts, on there performances this season I would only see them as good substitutes, if we are to get into Premier, they will have to up there game and play better to play in 1st team next season, no excuses BATTH NEEDS TO DEFEND BETTER, DICHO AS TO START FINDING THE NET AND EDWARDS NEEDS TO ADD MORE TO IS GAME IN MIDFIELD AND TAKE CONTROL OF MIDFIELD A LOT MORE.

Wolves linked with Celtic's Amrose, disaster waiting to happen-complete liability.

1.) 25 Dec 2016 13:26:35

2.) 25 Dec 2016 14:03:25
Very old rumour.

PL has stated numerous times that we will ONLY be signing players with championship experience this window.

17 Dec 2016 11:02:45
Just read on other forum Lambert slated Gladon not being up to Champ level. why stop with him? Guess he had his pick from most of our team.

1.) 19 Dec 2016 07:40:31
I think Lambert is slating Gladon as he is rpresentative of what went wrong in August. Mind you the bloke did score a hat trick last week for the reserves. Maybe a kick up the backside is what he needs to either shape up or ship out.

What was that all about, Lambert referring to things being uncovered from August?

2.) 24 Dec 2016 09:20:24
Rhodes and Nugent been told they can leave Bodo January.

Just read McCarthy's reasoning on exclusion of Matt D., in R.O.I. team, and he comes across as an arrogant person. Left in a sticky wicket were matt to pull out of all internationals under him; clear he won't play him.

1.) 12 Jun 2019 18:04:21
How has he come across as arrogant? He was asked a question and gave his answer. As he said, both are very good but Coleman is a better full back. Doherty is now used as a wing back at Wolves so the 2 are totally different types of players however, Mick plays with a 442 formation which suits Colemans game better.

2.) 12 Jun 2019 21:00:54
I didn't see anything wrong with Micks answer, he was being honest.
Doc is a RWB Coleman RB so due to system Mick plays for Ireland Coleman gets nod.
Look on bright side less chance of Doc getting injured on international duty.

Hi Wolves Family. Hope Diego's buy-out clause is pretty hefty; think we'll need it after his performances this season alone; he's skinned every one he's come up against; going to be a legend!

1.) 28 Apr 2019 11:03:39
Part of the project, going nowhere!

2.) 28 Apr 2019 19:15:16
🎶It's Diogo not Diego 🎶
Seriously though my outstanding favourite player for years.

3.) 28 Apr 2019 20:35:21
You're crackers!

4.) 29 Apr 2019 16:21:27
I'd love Ballymena v Wolves one day Belfast. Pop up to the show ground and see the lads.

05 Dec 2018 13:00:15
Think it's time Patricio was rested and Ruddy given a run, also, likes of Ennis given a shout and some fringe players brought back from loans, Connor Ronan and the like.

1.) 05 Dec 2018 18:55:04
Are you drunk, we are a Premier League team now not an average champ side.

02 Dec 2018 11:16:49
There we have it: Doherty says " we have to stick together", and Jimenez says " it was " a good game" against Cardiff. mmm. don't think so, we were rubbish, also, never saw ball played back to our keeper so much as in Hudders game, total lack of confidence.

1.) 02 Dec 2018 13:44:39
Ruben Loftus Cheek please.

2.) 03 Dec 2018 17:43:48
Whats baffled me is paying £12 million for Belgium international player and not playing him, cannot for the life of me understand that decision, can some one explain please.

3.) 03 Dec 2018 20:51:32
I can. We haven't paid any money for him yet.

21 Nov 2018 12:41:13
Any one think Jamie Forrest could do the job for us? Wouldn't cost the earth and has plenty of potential.

1.) 23 Nov 2018 19:10:07
He is having a good season but wasn't that great over the last few years.

The guy couldn't hit a barn door from the penalty spot, reminds me of Atkinbiyi, useless.

If he's not good enough for Southampton, how is he good enough for us? Besides, he's never far away from a red card.

Think that was said because he was subbed; fact is, he was subbed due to first game back from hamstring injury, Nuno was saving him.

Cannot say I'd be that positive O. M. R. There's more than Salah for us to defend.

How many chances would you offer Traore Tibbsy? Guy's played around 34 games and scored once, done very little positive for us, & where would you play him? I've watched shots from him going closer to the corner flag. Get rid.

Agree. The sooner Nuno realises you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, the better. Traore isn't cut out for football, he hasn't a clue except to run with it and no idea how to get it in the box.

Totally agree, sdav78, I don't think Patricio has covered himself in glory this season at all.
