It is a no because he's managed 14 games in the last two years! He will want a massive wage and wasn't up to the pace for the Prem when he was in it last and that was four years ago! We haven't had manager that's sustained an average of 1.5 points per game since Nuno got us to Europe so instead of a apologising I'd be shouting witch craft! It's not posters on here that should apologise WO? My criticisms are aimed at Fosun/Wolves because of their transfer policies, lack of ground development and poor income streams which will remain irrespective of who the Coach/Manager is or how the team is performing.
To spell it out, if a team offers a decent price for any of our best performers, for example, Ait Nouri, Joao Gomez next summer they will be sold. Every season (if we survive this) will see us struggling again as too young or not Prem ready players are bought in to replace them.
That's Fosun's model for the club which is a continuous race to the bottom which funnily enough is where we are right now.

The players you mentioned longmyndWolf will leave because they're also ambitious and want to play for the top teams, not purely because Fosun want the greenback. In my opinion this is how you should grow the club without putting yourself in huge debt by paying out 10's of millions time after time on new signings.
We didn't pay huge money relatively speaking for Jota, Neves, Neto etc and sold for huge profit. That money should be reinvested in the team to strengthen and grow into a strong squad. Unfortunately for us a succession of poor managers has resulted in some very bad decisions regarding player purchases Fabio, Sasa, Guedes, Jordan, etc so that we couldn't move on at a profit. We've also had some pretty awful luck with injuries especially Jimenez who was absolutely fantastic for us and we really haven't replaced him.

Most players eventually leave clubs for one reason or another, that's one thing, but to actively seek to sell your best performers then hope you might find better, cheaper, is something else.

Go on then WO enlighten us, which one person is solely at fault for the club being run this badly? And while your mentioning Lope, why do you think he left just to sit at home for 9 months waiting for a job, wouldn't most managers just stay in the role until the next one came up?
