Amadou Diawara from Naples.

TimmyTTTTT

1.) 04 Jan 2019 18:14:54
Would love this to happen 👍.

2.) 04 Jan 2019 23:03:18
I see Bournemouth have got a striker. maybe we will soon I hope!

3.) 05 Jan 2019 10:21:41
I don't rate the new Bournemouth striker at £19mil. Maybe it works if they're trying to shaft Chelsea for Callum Wilson at £30mil plus?

4.) 05 Jan 2019 15:03:50
Bit early for not rating a recent U20 World Cup winner methinks.

5.) 05 Jan 2019 19:29:27
Methinks I don’t rate the new Bournemouth striker at £19mil. I might rate him at £5ml or something. They bought him for £3mil I think. I know the market is silly but they haven’t improved his value much.

Diogo Jota to be offered to Lazio.

TimmyTTTTT

1.) 01 Jun 2018 17:38:12
Hasn’t he just agreed a long term contract Timmy?

2.) 01 Jun 2018 17:42:55
Obviously Willy Boly and Afobe will now offered to Lazio because we offer all our new permanently signed players to them.

3.) 01 Jun 2018 17:46:18
What a load of rubbish.

4.) 01 Jun 2018 18:03:57
one crappy rag lol.

5.) 01 Jun 2018 18:33:55
Yeah also Costa and Cavalarioh offered to Roma too, geez get it into your head Jota is our player now everything is agreed instead ofg trying to troll and failing on a epic scale.

6.) 01 Jun 2018 19:12:26
Ronaldo is also 20/ 1 to join us and I can’t see that happening.

7.) 01 Jun 2018 19:28:57
Nuno is being loaned to Real at weekends to pick a team .

8.) 01 Jun 2018 20:25:45
DerbyWolf, fair play mate, that made me laugh.

9.) 02 Jun 2018 22:06:29
Guys. Chillax. I know it won't happen but it is a rumour.

06 May 2018 18:06:16
Reports that Wolves will pass up Afobe deal. (The Mirror)

TimmyTTTTT

1.) 06 May 2018 18:16:54
Why, he’s been our most inform striker! However in Nuno we trust!

2.) 06 May 2018 18:21:45
Good job, he is not PL quality.

3.) 06 May 2018 19:38:18
I agree not good enough Afobe or bonatini get 2 quality strikers also batth and Miranda both played ther last games for wolves.

4.) 06 May 2018 23:22:08
Yeah I think Batth playing today was more of a thankyou but see you later.

How about those Toffees?

TimmyTTTTT

1.) 10 Feb 2019 09:55:02
Gone a bit soft in the 'middle' timmy. Defining moment for us tomorrow, consolidate our position with a decent win or slip back towards Watford etc. Could be a chess game of a match, but should we get the first I see another 3-1 3-2 type of affair. Jots back in hope and Raul full of confidence. Media talk will be all about the Paraguayan who sounds like a hybrid Japanese car.

2.) 10 Feb 2019 12:56:32
We have to hope that we are in better shape than Newcastle and we are at home!
If we believe that we are a top 6/ 7/ 8 side in this division then these are the games we HAVE to win.
I've got us down for a 1-0 win.
Come on boys!

3.) 10 Feb 2019 18:01:43
Now that Newcastle are relegation fodder I am worried we will lose like we did with other teams down there we are much better against mid table teams

If we win we will be clear of the pack with only Watford looking like challenging for 7th who could have imagined that last season?

I'd be interested to know what ed025 thinks now about Wolves. I think it was him who was saying that Wolves didn't have Premier League experience and wouldn't be as good as his team, which I believe was Everton.

TimmyTTTTT

{Ed025's Note - i never actually said that timmy, i did say that you might find it harder than some of you thought at the start of the season though, its still very early days mate and you are doing very well i must admit, you wont finish higher than everton though because we always will be the superior team as form is temporary but class is forever.. :)

1.) 07 Oct 2018 13:40:27
Don't make me dig through the archives. :)

{Ed025's Note - dig all you want timmy mate...you might find when wolves last won something...lol..

2.) 07 Oct 2018 15:03:02
I think if you stand Wolves 1st eleven up against Everton's and scored each player out of 10 the class is definitely wearing the old gold my son!

{Ed025's Note - no dav i dont think so mate, you are doing very nicely i must admit but the likes of siggurdson, bernard, richarleson, pickford coleman, digne walk in the wolves team, not to mention yerry mina and gomes who have yet to play for us, class will out in the end and everton are steeped in it so nice try mate but you will go on a bad run thats for sure, good luck though and i think you will stay up this season which will be a fine effort..

3.) 07 Oct 2018 16:29:58
Last season Ed championship trophy :P.

{Ed025's Note - good answer RKO, we have never won that mate as we have never been relegated though.. :)

4.) 07 Oct 2018 17:10:59
Never say never ed - Everton were relegated for the second time in 1950–51 and did not earn promotion until 1953–54, when they finished as runners-up in their third season in the Second Division. The club have been a top-flight presence ever since.

Banter aside though I do like Everton and hope they do well too.

{Ed025's Note - long time ago that RKO so im saying it does,nt count :), its all good to have a bit of banter mate its what its all about, you have a very good manager there and play good football so i hope you do well and think you will..

5.) 07 Oct 2018 17:25:26
All you have to worry about is finishing above the Red section of Scousepool. I do believe that Everton are our direct rivals this year, both clubs ambitious to achieve. Let's see what happens but for me staying up is cool.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think there will be a lot between us SANES and believe that if you stay relatively injury free you will do a lot better than just avoid relegation mate, mid table will be a really good season..

6.) 07 Oct 2018 20:42:36
Ed your having a laugh if you think Pickford would walk into the wolves team how much have Everton spent in the last 2 windows I think we will be a lot closer to you than you give us credit for.

{Ed025's Note - i have said it will be close between us ste, my guess would be us finishing 8-10th and wolves 9-11th, i think our squad is slightly stronger but the first team fairly equal, if im right mate it it will be a great season for wolves and everton who we see as being in transition..

7.) 07 Oct 2018 23:16:03
Sorry ed but if you really believe all those Everton players would walk into our first team you are sadly deluded!

{Ed025's Note - its down to personal opinion of course TT but who out of them would you not put in the wolves team?..

8.) 08 Oct 2018 07:30:14
Thought the Ed was supposed to be impartial not use the Wolves site to promote his own team. I've thought for sometime this site was going downhill, now it seems to have hit rock bottom. You can do better than this Ed.

{Ed001's Note - if you are too much of a child to understand that this is a banter page, then go elsewhere. It is people like you that ruin sites like this, not the Ed having a bit of banter, like the page is intended for.}

9.) 08 Oct 2018 09:32:45
I will likely be accused of getting carried away but with almost a quarter of the season gone Wolves are 5 points off the top. A top four finish may be achievable - some strengthening in January might just do it : cover for Moutinho/ Neves, a proven striker ( Vardy? Why not? )

10.) 08 Oct 2018 17:16:20
I don't mind Ed025 sticking up for his Everton Team. Any fan would for his own team. My opinion of Everton is that they are pretty much level pegging with Wolves, now that we have caught up under Fosun ownership. I see Everton as immediate competitors now if we are to finish in the top 6 to 8.

11.) 08 Oct 2018 19:36:52
Ed I find the banter exactly as it should be. The likes of wallaby can't see any further than their stir it up mind set. We're up there with you and I agree our squad is a bit shallow in comparison, but we've got Nuno and he can get our team to play and that inspiration might just get us higher than the toffees.

12.) 08 Oct 2018 19:52:04
Ed, you realize Wolves have 6 player gone to senior national teams and one who is out because they are giving some younger players a try out.
What players do you think your players are going to supplant?
Patricio? Neves? Jimenez? Jonny? Doherty? Costa? Coady? Boly? Bennett?
Maybe you can argue that Costa can be replaced by someone who is more on form but he did get his first call up to the Portuguese senior team so he can't be playing that badly?
Who is Siggurdson going to replace? Moutinho or Neves? You see how silly you are? You think some Icelandic international is going to replace two Portuguese internationals, one with over 100 caps and one who is being touted as a top 4 team player.
Bernard has 0 goals. Heck, we have two wingers who have 0 goals, too.
I won't waste my time refuting the other names.

13.) 08 Oct 2018 22:01:27
Is Siggurdson going to replace the third most capped player in Portuguese football history or a guy that all of the top teams seem to want to sign as their midfield player of the future?

14.) 08 Oct 2018 19:39:21
Hey Ed. Do you actually watch Wolves play or are you like those pundits who admit 5 games into the season that they never watched Wolves and were just commenting based on what they assumed a newly promoted team would play like?

15.) 09 Oct 2018 11:07:27
100% Siggurdson gets in your team, bernard walkin onto your wing coleman strolls into the team, mina, gomes, i can go on. just because he has 100 odd caps for portugal doesn't mean a thing mate, rooney is England's all time top scorer and has 100 od caps would u take him right now? no you wouldn't caps mean nothing.

16.) 09 Oct 2018 16:09:04
He has 100 caps and played for Portugal this summer and played for Monaco last season. He is not a has been, like Rooney.
Read the reviews of his play.

17.) 09 Oct 2018 16:10:16
Sigurdsson is a great player albeit displacing Moutinho and Neves at present would be a stretch, and I would agree that on current form Richarlison and Bernard could get in ahead of Costa and Jota but I disagree that anyone else would WALK into the Wolves team. I wouldn't swap Patricio or any of our defence for Everton's. Ĺook at the current defensive records. We have conceded half the number of goals as Everton.
Doherty has just won the PFA Player of the Month so he definitely gets in ahead of Coleman. Bennett and Coady have been revelations at the back and there are very few central defenders as classy as Boly.

Of course everyone should stick up for their team and this is all about opinions and we are all partizan but on current form, the statements don't hold up.

18.) 10 Oct 2018 08:49:15
is that the same portugal who drew with iran and struggled against morroco then went out to without a fight in the last 16, and playing for monoco is nothing special mate look at falco whatever his name is, world beater in france flop in england.

27 Sep 2018 14:22:46
Looks like Pogba may be available in January.

TimmyTTTTT

1.) 27 Sep 2018 16:02:35
He wouldn’t get in the team! I’ll take him if he’s happy to sit on our bench and admire Mr Neves/ Moutinho.

2.) 27 Sep 2018 17:06:55
Would anyone take Ramsey on a free next season?

3.) 27 Sep 2018 20:52:35
Probably not we have better players.

4.) 27 Sep 2018 21:53:48
Wouldn't touch their egos with a barge pole.

"Wolves have been linked with one of the hottest prospects in Italian football - and prepared to smash their transfer record to land them.

That is according to reports in Italy, who claim Wolves were prepared to pay £36 million - double the record transfer fee expected to be forked out on Adama Traore - for Franck Kessie.

Ivorian Kessie is a key part of the AC Milan midfield, despite being only 21. He has been a regular feature in Italy since the age of 18, turning out for Atlanta, Cesena and Milan.

Now a report in Calciomercato has claimed Wolves were prepared to pay 40 million euros - £36 million - for his services. "

I'm curious. If Andre Silva is the striker for the Portuguese national team, why are more teams not interested in him?
You would think teams would be beating down the door to get him if he was that good and they heard that he was being forced out of AC Milan.

I read we would sign him but he wouldn't come to Wolves until the summer. That dovetails nicely with the "not being able to play for Wolves this season" side of things.

If the defender who Jota beat was even with Jimenez when he had the ball and passed it, then he would have also been even with Jota. He shouldn't have let Jimenez get that far in front of him.
He should have been back helping the guy watching Jimenez.

Did they complain about the red card to Boly as well?
If the fullback was letting Jota get that far behind him, it's his fault. I guess that is one of the problems with zonal coverage.

It's a statement to the club that they can't just charge whatever they want.
Good for the fans to put a shot of reality back into Fosun's plans.

Someone suggested that he could be signed but not come to Wolves until the summer, if there are issues like that.
