Gonçalo Guedes has been left out of the PSG team and Pepe and Quaresma have been left out of the Besiktas team for matches this week. Any thoughts?

Still a never ending story

1.) 24 Jul 2018 18:31:45
I think we have a really good mix of youth and experience just need 2 strikers in my view and one of those being able to fire in the premier league.

2.) 24 Jul 2018 19:13:19
Can’t see any of them signing to be honest. I think we’ll sign four more players: Jonny, Traore, midfielder, striker.

3.) 25 Jul 2018 10:48:21
Will we sign a striker? We now have 3 CFs on first team books (Leo, Jiminez, Mir) plus Cav, Costa and Jota, who make a formidable front line themselves. Add Oskar, Ronan, MGW and if we're really rolling back the clock, Mason and Zyro and that's a lot of strikers.

4.) 25 Jul 2018 15:28:26
Euroman Mir has gone out on loan. Oskar, Ronan, MGW are not strikers. And if you think Mason and Zyro will get a sniff you are on the sniff yourself, crazy guy.

Mark my words we will 100% but a quality striker, we only have Leo and Jiminez at current who can play in that position. I'd be wary about playing Jota in the central up top position in the Prem. Need a proper target man who can hold up the ball, Jota is too weak for that and it's not his game. Maybe against lesser teams we can play this way.

5.) 26 Jul 2018 21:01:04
Here’s the starting XI:
v. Everton

Ruddy
Iorfa Batth Boly Coady Hause
Neves Moutinho Gibbs-White
Jimenez Ennis
Subs.
Patricio, Docherty, Silva, Cavaleiro, Costa.

Tim Nash has confirmed the signing of Jonny Otto.

Still a never ending story

1.) 24 Jul 2018 06:52:55
it's jonny castro.

2.) 24 Jul 2018 08:44:43
Jonny Castro otto.

22 Jul 2018 21:47:42
I believe we are signing Danilo Pereira tomorrow. Allows Saiss to play in defence. A bit of a guess based on what I've read today but this is really starting to stack up.

Still a never ending story

1.) 22 Jul 2018 22:10:42
Pretty sure he is currently out with a Cruciate injury or similar which is why he missed the World Cup.

2.) 22 Jul 2018 22:21:55
It's Moutinho 👍.

3.) 22 Jul 2018 22:33:09
Good point, I got it wrong. Moutinho per Tim Nash.

4.) 22 Jul 2018 22:50:10
Apparently strong developments in the Traore transfer according to Mr Nash.

5.) 22 Jul 2018 23:17:29
moutinho 31? I think not.

6.) 23 Jul 2018 05:54:45
5 mil for a player of his quality is a great piece of business. I don't care that he is 31. Both him and Neves spray balls better than most of I've seen. Baller and in fairness even at his age looks incredibly mobile and quick on the ball.

Closest comparison is probably Wilshere in terms of style. Just my opinion having watched him. (On a good Wilshere day)

Tasty looking midfield. And some added experience at top level.

7.) 23 Jul 2018 09:57:04
age pmsl think some one just went for 100mill plus in 30s🤔.

8.) 23 Jul 2018 09:58:52
Moutinho is an incredible signing people. OK, he's 31, and only 5'7" tall, but how tall was Paul Scholes? Height has little to do with it sometimes. Age brings experience, and he has bags of top level experience. For a smallish, compact midfielder we can hope for a good few years more in him.

9.) 23 Jul 2018 11:05:37
He's still quite quick as well but more importantly his speed of thought still transfers to his feet - excellent signing.

10.) 23 Jul 2018 11:12:33
This page gets worse. Dismissing Moutinho because he’s 31. Pure comedy gold.

11.) 23 Jul 2018 11:29:46
Ronaldo is how old?

Messi is how short?

People make me laugh.

12.) 23 Jul 2018 12:27:40
Moutinho, top, top signing. £5m is a years min wages for prem players nowadays

Missing jigsaw pieces now being slotted in.

Linked with Andre Gomes.

Only HTC mate, don’t listen to them they are full of bs.

2.) 10 Jan 2018 20:42:32
Yawn. another Jorge Mendes client therefore he must be coming to Wolves. Ronaldo has asked Real Madrid to lower his release fee so it looks like he's coming to Molineux too as is James Rodriguez who is out of Zidanes plans. Looks like Mourinho will quit Man Utd at end if the season which means he's definitely coming to Wolves.

3.) 10 Jan 2018 21:03:19
At least it's better than the worse and ones for the future.

4.) 10 Jan 2018 21:15:52
Dave Jenkins on Twitter is backing this story.

5.) 11 Jan 2018 08:30:12
Dave Jenkins also known as Agent Dave is fake news.

Kortney Hause to Watford or Huddersfield for £2.5m. I wouldn't sell him full stop and I wouldn't sell him for twice that!

1.) 01 Jan 2018 23:12:18
Will they take Batth instead please.

2.) 02 Jan 2018 07:17:17

We activated a 1 year extension clause to Jordan Graham's contract. So what's the point in sending him out on loan for a season unless there's some obligation to buy or are we making profit in the loan agreement versus his salary?

Let's not give Mr Bobblies too much notoriety but if you take the first initials of his name (Wobbly Bobblies = WB), then you get the initials of our friends down at West Brom. Clearly he's having a harmless laugh so let's just ignore him.

All you have to worry about is finishing above the Red section of Scousepool. I do believe that Everton are our direct rivals this year, both clubs ambitious to achieve. Let's see what happens but for me staying up is cool.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think there will be a lot between us SANES and believe that if you stay relatively injury free you will do a lot better than just avoid relegation mate, mid table will be a really good season..

On Honeymoon in Italy at the minute but if you've had no luck in the next week please get back to me as my dad has a copy which I could probably wrestle from him.

Cut the sniping Tottenham Toad and have some respect for fellow posters. We're all here because we have a passion for WWFC but we all have different opinions, none right and none wrong. Enjoy the rest of the transfer window and enjoy this experience that our club / owners are giving us. In Nuno and Fosun we trust.

Generally a fair point TT due to the franchise nature of US sports. However for example if you tried to take Boston Red Sox away from Fenway Park you could perhaps have riots on your hands. Come on every sports fan loves history and tradition. We still have the 1950s to reminisce about and we have a city-centre stadium. That's good but let's look forwards and support our forward-looking owners in their endeavours.
