Just announced on wolves official site, Nuno signed new contract 👏🏻👏🏻.

1.) 13 Sep 2020 17:15:53
Will be the best piece of business we do this summer.

2.) 13 Sep 2020 17:54:01
Delighted to read this!

3.) 13 Sep 2020 18:48:07
Great news.

4.) 13 Sep 2020 21:10:33
Excellent news! Not that I ever thought he'd not sign. Let's go tomorrow. Bring it on. 😁.

5.) 14 Sep 2020 10:27:44
Great news guys about Nuno's new contract. Out best signing since Stan Cullis!

Unfortunately the 'Nuno Out' campaign (P Tamworth, founder and sole member) will be disappointed, but there you go.

Did anyone see Doherty's poor show yesterday? Sleep-walking in the second half and subbed by Jose on 74 minutes. Doc wasn't the only one, Spurs were very flat. Everton looked different class and must be challengers for Europe this season.

6.) 14 Sep 2020 10:56:37
Agree Deep, very happy that Nuno will get to continue his fantastic work. The Nuno out campaign was beyond childish, like some new appointment could come in with a magic wand to make ffp disappear?! 🤣
As for Docs I agree, I think what that game showed (and what many of us may have forgotten) is that Docs ain't suited to a flat back four! He's in for a shock as suddenly getting forward down the wing is the secondary part of his game. Does make me wonder ya know, when Nuno says 'a new cycle' but keeps his cards close to his chest maybe we are about to start trying 4-5-2 as a second option now and again? Maybe as we saw last night the reason he let Doc go is because he struggles with RB? Time will tell but I am BUSTING for tonight's game! Bring on the season, in Nuno we trust! COYW 👍🐺.

7.) 14 Sep 2020 11:15:29
Ps- 4-5-2! Nuno really is magic eh, playing without a keeper! 🤣
Obvs I meant 4-5-1 👍.

8.) 14 Sep 2020 12:43:22
BullysBoy II, can see that happening, Raul is well capable of playing up front on his own. We know he can hold play up and we've got the pace to get up to support. I suspect that's why they let Doc go as you say. As much as I enjoyed watching him, he is in my opinion a one trick pony. Bring it on, can't wait! COYW.

09 Sep 2020 22:11:58
Ferreira unveiled on the wolves official site 👍👍.

1.) 10 Sep 2020 05:54:56
Looks a decent little player. Technical and a bit more attacking than what we currently have. Could see him as cover for Moutinho, option price isn't too steep either if he does well.

2.) 10 Sep 2020 19:19:23
like the sound of this lad. attacking midfielder. bring it on.

05 Sep 2020 17:32:24
Silva officially unveiled by big Jeff on the wolves website 👍🏼👍🏼.

1.) 05 Sep 2020 17:41:12
Jeff well and truly stuck two fingers up to the naysayers.

When we feel the time is right we will not hesitate to make the investment.

Has the potential to be a generational talent.

2.) 05 Sep 2020 17:51:33
And yet again, the press knew nothing about it. Love the way this club does business.

3.) 05 Sep 2020 18:19:31
By reading Jeff Shi about getting the right quality for Nuno (his words) I'm thinking it confirms nuno is going nowhere and a possibility Nuno hasn't signed a new contract yet he is waiting till all the transfer business is sorted out to give the club and the project preference for new signings. Then he will sign his new contract.
Everything is looking great.

4.) 05 Sep 2020 18:53:10
Big congratulations to the positive clan. Your faith deserved this signing. Think I'm best in the negativity mode. Keeps me sane. It will be interesting to see how Fabio is used. Another signing before Sheffield would be good.

5.) 05 Sep 2020 19:04:07
Fair play SQ.

6.) 05 Sep 2020 19:05:02
Fair play SQ, I don't often agree with you but one thing I will give you credit for is your are pretty much the only one of the negative posters that actually stays and takes his lumps with a bit of humility! Most of the negative posters are quick to give it out but don't hang around when it comes back, I mean we all know PT will disappear now until there's another cloud on the horizon/ first loss of the season! 🤣.

7.) 05 Sep 2020 19:05:16
Be nice now to out all the petty squabbling aside? Yes, we were al concerned when Doc left. But better players have left bigger clubs. Yes we were all concerned about the lack of signings, and Nuno not signing an extension, even though he still has 10 months left on his current.
But the bottom line is- we are all on here, purely because we bleed old gold and black, we love this football club.
Let’s all look forward to a new season, hopefully we’ll be back in the Mol ourselves soon.
But let’s leave the arguing to our neighbours at Vile Park. We are wolves, we’re above that.

8.) 05 Sep 2020 19:25:04
Respect to you SQ.

9.) 05 Sep 2020 19:33:32
Good post Lowwolf I will go along with that.
Coady didn't get on today on the plus Coady has said how great an experience it is to train with the national squad.
All better for us as Coady surely is going to better for us from the experience.
Loving the good feel factor proud to be a wolves fan👊👊.

10.) 05 Sep 2020 19:34:52
SQ, another deal has been agreed but not yet announced, another to be completed within the next couple of days. Jeff was busy while I was on holiday.

11.) 05 Sep 2020 19:47:04
Respect SQ. If you weren't so negative we'd have nothing to comment on! Every credit for holding your hands up mate! 😂😂😂.

12.) 05 Sep 2020 19:52:44
Fair play SQ!

I can see how a section of fans from any club can be negative, and Wolves have been through the proverbial. I think that attitude may have been carried on from the Batthi Brothers regime and to a degree, the Morgan / Mox (l) ey era wasn't one that will be hailed as a success (barring promotion to the PL) and successive relegations. I left Twitter because I was sick "fans" calling other fans "happy clappers" if they celebrated something positive (say a 1-0 victory) .

Under Fosun things feel different (for me) I cannot remember a better time to be a Wolves fan and the future seems to be a good one. Fosun are getting things right in and off the pitch. Just look at Wigan or Bolton - both in dire shape. We've a lot to cebebrate and to look forward to. Just my two penneth.

13.) 05 Sep 2020 19:53:16
Amazing what good news does. Well played SQ. Clouds are lifting over the Mol.

14.) 05 Sep 2020 20:10:43
Excellent post Lowwolf!

15.) 05 Sep 2020 20:38:56
PT must be on holiday with Spiers.

16.) 05 Sep 2020 20:45:34
One signing, although superb for future, isn't really enough to take us forward. , hope there's more 🤔
I'm sure there will be 👍.

17.) 05 Sep 2020 20:49:30
Shout out for Jas would love to read your views.
You have been on here from the first time I came on this site and lol correct me with great humour when I get it wrong.
Kept posting everyday in the lock down when very few was posting.
Thinking of ya Jas. 👍.

18.) 05 Sep 2020 21:13:04
No problem guys!

19.) 05 Sep 2020 21:24:28
Debbie you are pretty much on the money with your comment! After over 50 years following our wonderful Wolves this is a great time to be sort of involved. The late 60's into the late 70's were great for me home and away. Can't go anymore or very rarely, so this is my only way of following the dream. Fosun have been a breath of fresh air. They are doing what they said they would do. Fair play to them and long may it continue. Wolves for ever!

20.) 05 Sep 2020 22:09:15
SQ, first game we are allowed back into. Your first pint is on me mate 🍺😉.

21.) 05 Sep 2020 22:10:38
Good post Debbie you was same as Jas on here when I first came on this site and have been all the time since. 👍
Rated too 👍
Paul Tam as well👍but not much lately☹️
When bhatti brothers nearly sent us bust I was in middle school and remember me and my best pal saying we would support Walsall if we went out of existence. Too young to fully understand but wolves were in our blood.

22.) 05 Sep 2020 22:20:48
Phil. Walsall! ’ Wash your mouth out and don’t darken this site again. You’re barred 😂😂.

23.) 05 Sep 2020 22:24:10
Nice one LowWolf!

24.) 05 Sep 2020 22:58:40
Ha ha my dad used to take us to fellows Park every other week when we weren't at wolves when wolves was playing away.
Please may I be excused😂.

25.) 05 Sep 2020 23:59:53
Phil. :: NO. You over stepped the mark. 😂😂.

26.) 06 Sep 2020 06:38:00
The biggest positive from this deal moving onto our next signings is what massive statement of intent this is.

The commitment to youth has been impressive, I think we can all agree 35 million is a staggering amount for an 18yrold. In some ways frightening

But Wolves are looking at the picture 5 years down the road when he could be World Class. Then you look at the others in our squad who could be on the way to being World Class also.

The Phrase project is truly that, we are aiming right for the top, and maybe like many before us we fall short. I'd rather that than just aiming to survive or settling for mid table mediocrity. Let the Newcastles/ West Broms/ Villas of the world battle it out for the Callum Wilsons who in 5 years will probably be playing championship football again.

We are going for it!

27.) 06 Sep 2020 09:39:10
It is a lot of money Tom and a big gamble but even with modest development the price would probably be double that in 2 years time if we had waited. If its correct Liverpool and Real Madrid were looking at him then it looks like the Portugese connection may have swung the deal in our favour with the chance to learn the role he wantd to play with Raul.

28.) 06 Sep 2020 09:43:03
I send my respects to those who didn't lose faith in Nuno and Jeff, unlike myself who was unreasonably worried about the lack of activity at Mol. At my age, I should have trusted in them both. I will not make the same mistake again.

29.) 06 Sep 2020 10:30:48
Have it on good authority that Diogo Leite and Tomás Esteves will be next to sign for Wolves. The defenders will be replacements for Bennett (soon to leave) and Doherty respectively.

30.) 06 Sep 2020 12:08:54
Hope so, don't know anything about Leite but I have only heard good things about Esteves. Supposed to a be a very technically sound cb 👍.

31.) 06 Sep 2020 21:02:42
Esteves is a full / wing back. And brilliant. Leite CB.

09 Jan 2020 17:02:48
According to Skysport, Cutrone has this afternoon agreed a deal to join Fiorentina.

1.) 09 Jan 2020 17:41:38
Looks like Cutrone wanted to leave don't think he ever wanted to leave ITALY and with the lack of appearances for wolves you can't blame him really.
I'm sure he will be a great player for his new team and country so I wish him all the best think we may have missed out on top player here.
But has Nuno got a replacement coming in I hope so.
In Nuno we trust. Always wolves🐺🧡🖤.

2.) 09 Jan 2020 17:56:42
Good, we need better. Works hard no end product, we need better.

3.) 09 Jan 2020 18:50:10
Then we should get rid of Diogo and Pedro, too.

4.) 09 Jan 2020 20:26:06
Get rid of Doherty too! Imagine wanting hardworking players in a starting eleven? ewwwww.

5.) 09 Jan 2020 20:37:53
I believe Cutrone was fantastic under the circumstances:
• Forced out of his boyhood club.
• Speaks very little English
• Only the cleaner speaks Italian at the club
• Didn’t have a pre-season under Nuno
• Never given a run of games
• 9 starts 3 goals 2 assist
• Most starts were in a formation that didn’t suit him or they weren’t the first team players around him
• Worked his bollocks off
• Showed an astounding amount of passion.

6.) 09 Jan 2020 21:04:31
If Wolves want to take the next step they need better than Cutrone! Mediocre at best! And eventually a lot of the present team, especially back 3 will need upgrading but that will come in time. At the moment we need 3 quality players down the spine so injuries suspensions and tiredness don’t affect us. No sentiment in football if u want to achieve more.

7.) 09 Jan 2020 21:33:22
I’d have been tempted to drop him back a bit- as an attacking midfielder. Which most of us think we need. His hold up play and passing may have suited him in that role.
I know he’s normally an out and out striker. But he wouldn’t be the first player that Nuno changed position with, to the teams and players benefit.

8.) 09 Jan 2020 20:53:22
Blimey Bridgo, are you his agent. Spanish and Portuguese are very similar to Italian so the lingo would have been no problem whatsoever. The big problem is that he just isn't good enough.

9.) 09 Jan 2020 22:19:13
Completely agree with Bridgo. And he will prove he is good enough. Nuno has messed up big time with this one I think. Especially as there is no sign of us replacing a 23 million quid striker with anyone at all!

10.) 09 Jan 2020 22:32:12
They are different languages. That’s like someone saying to the someone English “you share some words with the French, you must understand the language. ”.

11.) 09 Jan 2020 23:24:19
The only commonality Portuguese / Spanish / Italian have is that they're all derived from Latin. That's like going to Barcelona and saying "ado' pal, alroight am ya? " and expecting a reply.

12.) 10 Jan 2020 00:00:52
Personally, I think Cutrone was unhappy to leave AC Milan and didn't want to play for a rival club in Italy. The move to Wolves was more or less forced upon him due to Milans need to sell in order to comply with FFP which had already resulted in them forfeiting their Europa League spot.

Cutrone tried to make it work but alas, he missed his family back home in Italy. Nuno has picked up on this and knows that an unhappy player was never likely to succeed but couldn't offload him whilst the transfer window was closed. Cutrone clearly does have the talent to be a success unfortunately circumstances took him in a different direction.

The fact that he was used sparingly was because he was unsettled. I wish him all the best and hope in the future, if the circumstances are right, he may return.

13.) 10 Jan 2020 06:43:44
How many people were saying last season that Traore wasn't good enough?!

14.) 10 Jan 2020 07:02:48

15.) 10 Jan 2020 08:40:32
I was laughing at Debbie McGee's post not Jas M and StattoWolf's

16.) 10 Jan 2020 10:24:40
Jas, I think you've hit the nail right on the head there. It's a shame as he will be a world-beater at some point, but his confidence was destroyed and he's unhappy. Life's short and a football career is shorter. I wish him all the best and can't blame anyone in this situation (except maybe Milan) .

17.) 10 Jan 2020 12:46:17
Wolves are looking at Gabriel Barbosa on loan with option to buy. Can play ST and RW. Cover for Raul and Traore with eye for goal.

18.) 10 Jan 2020 14:10:15
Wolves linked with Matheus Cunha from RB Leipzig according to Sky Sports the deal would be around 17m. Replacement for Cutrone.

19.) 10 Jan 2020 14:49:44
Brigo is you think Cutrone works his b's off then we've been watching different players! Yes he works but not in the same league of work rate as Raul. whos's 5 years older! He also had a habit of working around the ball but doing little to create chances off it (again see Rauls natural game, they guy does NOT stop sprinting;)
Also don't give it the 'forced out of his boyhood club' and doesn't speak English nonsense. I mean cry me a river! Fairly sure the club would have offered language lessons for free and NO one forced him to take what was almost certainly a decent pay rise! I actually think he is a good player and one day will be fairly prolific. but I also think some players just can't handle moving abroad (how many English player manage it? ) . fair enough his life. But that doesn't necessarily mean anyone's to blame, sometimes these thing don't work out and you just have to cut your losses and move forward, just the way life can be sometimes. Good luck to him either way ;)

20.) 10 Jan 2020 17:33:39
He was forced out of Milan, he didn’t want to leave but they needed to raise funds. And yes I’m sure he was learning English but he’s been there less than 5 months, it would be weird if he did learn it so quick. It’s also he can’t speak his younger, pretty much every player shares a language with someone:
Portugal- Rui, Vinagre, Neves, Joao, Jordao, Neto, Jota, Raul.
French- Boly, Dendonker, Saiss.
English- Ruddy, Kilman, Bennet, Coady, MGW.
Spanish- Adama, Jonny, Vallejo
Italian- Cutrone, the cleaner
We can’t even judge if he suits English football, he was hardly given the chance. Every time he came on he constantly pressed the defence, not sure what game you’ve been watching.

21.) 10 Jan 2020 18:16:11
Clearly been watching the same games as Nuno which is why we have played Neto and Jota as strikers over the Xmas period when resting Raul. even then he didn't rate Cutrone enough to start him! I love that you think 5 months is not long enough to get the basics of the most commonly spoken language in the world. I have several Eastern European friends who didn't have the luxury of lessons or a tutor that would disagree, essentially it comes down to how much you want to learn something! He didn't leave cause of a language barrier he left cause he missed home. Which is fine by the way, just not the clubs fault is all ;)

22.) 10 Jan 2020 18:12:26
The big difference is that Traore always had the talent but it's taken Nuno and team to properly focus that talent. They must have decided that they couldn't do a similar job to Cutr6. By the way my dad spoke Italian, and was able to converse with Spaniards on holiday, a bit like I can just about converse with the Scots.

08 Aug 2018 19:40:52
Agreed a deal for Zinchenko. £16 million. Depends now if he wants to come.

1.) 08 Aug 2018 19:58:42
Done a month ago, he's nothing but decisive, I'd favour pulling out.

2.) 08 Aug 2018 20:04:07
He is due at Compton tomorrow morning for a medical and to discuss personal terms.

3.) 08 Aug 2018 20:21:22
Good job you ain’t running the club then wollaby.

4.) 08 Aug 2018 20:27:21
Don’t you mean divisive?

5.) 08 Aug 2018 20:31:24
If it was ‘done’ a month ago, why was it on S*y sport.

6.) 08 Aug 2018 21:09:27
Because he wanted to see if he could make it work at city being as he played all the pre season games. Never made the squad for the charity shield tho so has to make his mind up if he wants regular football.

7.) 08 Aug 2018 21:50:44
I know Zinchenko is a good player, but I am the only one who is kind of hesitant to bring him into Wolves if he clearly doesn't want to move and be a part of the team?

Considering this transfer was apparently agreed with City several weeks ago it has been Zinchenko holding it up, even the best players are crap when they aren't motivated or invested in the club.

8.) 08 Aug 2018 22:23:18
I agree Neil. Prob a great signing but he's made it clear he doesn't want to come to Wolverhampton. that's a big worry.

9.) 08 Aug 2018 22:28:56
Wollabby, can’t blsme the lad for thinking of over, one of best teams in Europe and in champions league and possible top coach in Europe, or wolves, I’m hoping he chooses wolves to get more playing time.

10.) 08 Aug 2018 22:48:12
Get your point Neil and I would normally agree however I don't think this is a case of him not wanting us, more a case of him not wanting to leave Peps City team! As in I don't think he's been waiting on other bids more waiting on Peps decisions most likely. I suppose he must know it will probs be one of the best teams he will have a crack at in a while, can't blame a man for not wanting any regrets. Besides it does show that he's ambitious and confident in his own ability both traits that will make him perfect for Fosun era Wolves! COYW ;)

11.) 09 Aug 2018 07:01:38
Zinchenko said himself that life in the U. K. didn't suit him. With that attitude IMO he's bad news. Lowwolf, you obviously haven't been keeping up to date, the fee was reportedly agreed a month ago and Zinchenko has not committed himself. We only want players committed to the cause thank you, not those who wait for a better option and then decide in our favour when doesn't come along.

12.) 09 Aug 2018 09:01:54
It was on sky last night mate, headlines, when I posted it on here.
If I’m sluggish, so are their reporters.

Just read that David Moyes and a couple of West Ham players have tested positive for the virus. Will our game be called off on Sunday?

1.) 22 Sep 2020 20:57:44
I just read that too my first thought was not that Lowwolf but will it go in our favour or not.
West ham may play better without moyes on the training ground. As I don't rate moyes.
But your point maybe of concern for our match Sunday to be on or off.
Was it Leyton orient spurs cancelled tonight due to something with the virus? And is Leyton orient near West ham ground?
It's scarey this virus was driving with boss at work today through Birmingham the amount of people not wearing masks and self distancing was in the hundreds maybe more. As Birmingham is the second city what I witnessed today doesn't give much hope for London.
Fingers crossed wolverhampton folk and the ed's are all remain safe and healthy. Another lock down the implications not just for us wolves but the whole country could be massive.

2.) 22 Sep 2020 20:58:49
Stands a real chance Lowwolf.

3.) 22 Sep 2020 21:00:50
I just seen West ham are playing Hull at home winning 3-1 so far so good for our match to be on Sunday.

4.) 22 Sep 2020 21:12:00
Leyton Orient v Spurs had to be postponed as a number of Orient players have contracted the virus. As a result, they cannot submit the minimum squad of 14 players therefore the game was postponed. With regards to our game v West Ham, as long as both teams can name at least 14 players each, then the game will go ahead as the players are tested twice per week to minimise the risk to others.

5.) 22 Sep 2020 21:49:53
Nice1 Jas.
We should be OK then most likely.

6.) 23 Sep 2020 06:59:35
Ha ha I was right about moyes (or probably just coincidence)
West ham won 5-1 without moyes there.

19 Sep 2020 06:36:28
What did Jeff Shi say when we signed Silva- all transfers are done to help Nuno build the team HE wants. Obviously Nuno can see the inconsistency in Jota. We have players ready to step straight in to replace him, Netto, Podence. And come on, over £30 profit! That’s decent business, if that 30mill buys us the RWB we all know we need, it’s an even better deal. This is why Nuno picks the players and team, and we all go back to our offices, factories, building sites, vans and lorries. Let’s just see what Sir Nuno has lined up before we start arguing and criticising.

1.) 19 Sep 2020 08:55:29
No criticism from me it was just last week someone was saying why do we need six strikers well now we know

Jota was never consistently in the starting 11 anyway only Raul and the FBs can claim that I just hope Neves doesn't follow Jota out of the door he's a completely different kind of player and will do well in an organised team like Bayern or Real or Barcelona possibly Man City.

15 Sep 2020 23:13:25
Interview with Raul on the wolves official site, after the win at Sheffield. Including the quote “we are a small squad, we have injured players, and players coming in the next weeks”. Misquoted? Said wrong in his Mexican/ English? Or does he know something?

1.) 16 Sep 2020 08:13:38
I picked up on that. hope so.

14 Sep 2020 21:00:30
Mike Dean in charge and we win! Is this a first?

13 Sep 2020 20:51:39
If you log on to the Wolves channel on YouYube, an interview with Sir Nuno was put on around 2-3 hours ago.
Well worth a watch.

Madman, I tend to agree about his agent or his club playing. But you say you think he’s worth 22?. In today’s market would you not outlay that extra 3? For the potential he has? .
But, yet again, we are speculating. Do we really know for sure that Nuno wants him.

11 Sep 2020 19:55:46
From what I’ve seen of AMN, I’d ask Arsenal how much they want, then pay them. In today’s market, £20 or £25 million, would be a bargain. He really does look that good, and look how Sir Nuno could develop him even more. Plus, he’s homegrown, English.
