Oh dear, megastore now open, away kit revealed but no new signings announced.
A fair few on here were convinced this would be the occasion to reveal our new super signings, what next?

1.) 15 Jul 2019 10:08:06
Really like the away kit for next season. Just read an interesting article from Nuno stating the club desperately need to add players for next season but so far nothing in the pipeline. He wants a small squad to keep everybody involved but says our current squad is now too small.

2.) 15 Jul 2019 11:20:57
Bet you couldn't wait to type that out could you Sdav? Signings will be revealled this week I think.

3.) 15 Jul 2019 11:33:22
The reality is contracts and leave etc mean that player availability is limited; especially if you up the quality of players who have been playing in national competitions. last year was the unusual one for us. I would anticipate activity in the last 3 weeks of the window.

4.) 15 Jul 2019 11:50:02
It’s all conjecture RKO with some pretty wild guessing going on. At the end of the day no one on here knows eff all, I sincerely hope we do sign at least 2 new established
Players before the season starts, by which time we will have a much better idea of just how committed Fosun are because this squad great quality as it is just ain’t big enough.
We got away with it last season I. e. no major injuries but you can bet your life it won’t happen 2 seasons on the bounce.

5.) 15 Jul 2019 13:08:15
The “marquee signings being announced in China” was always a lame duck. Wolves really do need reinforcements though.

6.) 15 Jul 2019 17:04:11
Chinese don't want to spend the bling that tells me they not backing the manager. And we all know how that ends.

7.) 15 Jul 2019 17:38:56
sdav78 - if you were a Wolves fan you’d know that we haven’t had any serious injuries for the past TWO seasons since Nuno and his back room staff arrived. It’s not luck pal.

8.) 15 Jul 2019 19:28:20
I’ve been a Wolves fan for 55 years 1st game at molineaux in 1964 lost to Man Utd and got relegated that season.
Nuno undoubtedly has amazing back room staff but injuries will come along at some point, I don’t think anyone can argue the fact that we need cover even the man himself has said we need new signings.

9.) 16 Jul 2019 02:57:41
Bored baggie klaxon 🚨 @sdav79 (Yes this means yow)

10.) 16 Jul 2019 11:31:59
Who the f**k is @sdav79, got it wrong again debs but eh nothing new there.

20 May 2019 11:31:58
Cavaleiro to go and we're keeping Traore
whilst I trust in Nono generally WTF!

1.) 20 May 2019 12:34:42
Traore has a lot more to offer. Cavaleiro is not good enough for prem he’s proved that this season I know Traore not been great difference is you can see the potential, I’ve said all season give Nuno preseason with him and I think he will have a massive season for us next time.

2.) 20 May 2019 13:05:00
Cavaleiro has not been given enough game time in the prem to judge if he is good enough or not. He has only had 6 starts and 17 sub appearance and scored 3 goals. I think his impact would have exceeded Costa and Traore had he been given the same run of games Costa was given at the start of the season.
Cavaleiro has power, balance and skill and will be a loss if sold.

3.) 20 May 2019 13:12:33
What you mean the same Cavalerio who scored on his first touch in the premier league?
I personally prefer cav over traore but the end of the day I trust Nunos judgement he knows the players better than any of us.

4.) 20 May 2019 14:37:32
Traore is a wide player of a front 3 who’s played out of position all season when he did play there he was best player on pitch he tore Tottenham apart on his own away before coming off injured name a game where Cavaleiro did that we wouldn’t of got passed Shrewsbury without his assist wouldn’t of took a massive 3 points at west ham without his goal which was the kickstart of our season after Man City draw.

5.) 20 May 2019 14:39:07
And saying Cavaleiro has power what Traore doesn’t the lads an animal just needs some work and who’s better to sort it than Nuno.

6.) 20 May 2019 15:13:30
It is a difficult one if you had to choose, I'd keep both we are going to need them. 😉.

7.) 20 May 2019 16:17:01
I’d keep both and sell Costa. Both them on the wing and Rondon upfront would be decent.

8.) 20 May 2019 17:38:16
Nuno only wants a small squad so, if we are to progress, like it or not both Cav and Costa will have to go to make way for superior players. Both have had enough chances in terms of showing what they can do on the pitch and also in training where full scale games are a regular occurrence.

9.) 20 May 2019 19:40:10
As soon as we went down to two up front, Costa and Cav looked surplus to requirements. I believe they are both Premier standard players, whatever some might think. Just not top 6 Premier standard, which is hopefully where we're looking.

10.) 20 May 2019 19:42:18
Cavaleiro scored at a 15 goal per season clip. That's not bad.

11.) 20 May 2019 20:38:33
Nunos army, no one said Traore wasn't a beast. I was just making a point that given a proper run in the team Cav would have done more than the other 2. I did'nt say the other 2 were crap, but obviously it touched a nerve.

12.) 20 May 2019 23:53:46

Just thought I'd throw that in as I have to keep pinching myself!

Look, as we are in Europe and pre-season will start early, I can't see much 'outward bound' transfer activity happening until the end of the window.
The bulk of the current squad will play in Europe with a handful of fringe players - including Traore, Cav, and possibly Costa, together with the u23's.
Any new players will not be 'bedded in' until the start of the Prem.

That's my assessment.
If we were to offload anyone, for me it would be Costa.

13.) 21 May 2019 14:05:04
Camo. Not touched a nerve at all just cracks me up all season people been on Traore’s back when he’s not been given a regular run in a position he’s strong at because of our system. He’s shown in patches he could be a world beater with a few touches which I think we’ve got the best manager to do it.

14.) 21 May 2019 20:19:53
No end product you, can’t coach class!

15.) 22 May 2019 19:26:03
sdav78 Try Sterling mate before pep worked with him. of course you can teach the final cross, ball in to striker or final finish that's what makes a manager better than another the way you can improve your players.

16.) 23 May 2019 08:06:35
Systems suit some players better than others we play a tight system and players know exactly what they have to do compare that with City who rely on individual skill more

Traore doesn't seem to fit the team but he has skills and can be developed into a decent player like Mahrez at City or even Salah if he can shoot and score better.

04 Jan 2019 13:11:56
The Express are reporting that wolves are second in the race to sign Ballotelli be hind Newcastle PLEASE GOD HE SIGNS FOR NEWCASTLE!,

1.) 04 Jan 2019 14:24:50
The Express are well known for fantasy so I wouldn't read too much into it.

2.) 04 Jan 2019 14:49:51
I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but I'd certainly take him. PL winner, Italy international, good goalscoring record at the highest level (except Liverpool) . No longer getting in trouble. Rather have him over Tammy Abraham, but each to his own I suppose.

3.) 04 Jan 2019 16:27:02
No chance lazy selfish player trouble maker Abraham any day over him.

4.) 04 Jan 2019 17:25:10
So Seagullwolf, you'd rather have an unproven player than a proven international who hasn't been in trouble in the last 5 years?

5.) 04 Jan 2019 17:45:31
This just lazy journalism rehash of a bs story from the summer.

Message to Gareth Southgate, watch yesterday's game and then explain why Tyrone Mings gets picked in front of Connor Coady. And no bull***t about back 3 or 4 players adapt to whatever system is used!

1.) 11 Nov 2019 12:34:42
Simple answer Southgate hates Wolves he is ex Villa.

2.) 11 Nov 2019 20:30:27
What I found brilliant was how Mings walked off laughing after chopping down Traore because he thought he'd left his mark on him. A few seconds later Moutinho roles the ball to Neves to place it in the back of the net. Bet Mings weren't laughing about the foul then.

3.) 12 Nov 2019 09:46:02
Yeah noticed that, quality.

4.) 12 Nov 2019 11:46:36
Here we go again TALKsport radio-the only time they ever bother talking about Wolves is when they start touting for Nuno to go to …. wait for it. West Ham.

5.) 12 Nov 2019 13:43:11
Crazy why on earth would Nuno want to go to West ham not exactly a big club are they Adrian durrum talks a load of crap keep dreaming Nuno knows where he's better off and is well supported wolves are going places end of! UTW.

04 Oct 2019 09:10:05
Strikers finish from a fantastic center half
BUT! what a pass from Neves, this is what he can deliver and we need to see more of, guy is absolute class when he is on it.

1.) 04 Oct 2019 14:14:31
Yes fully agree with Neves though he had a quiet game he should aventure forward more that's where he's most dangerous with his shooting and great ability to pick a pass which he did last night with the Boly goal and didn't he take it well great job and a great win.
Just to say I just read the article on Dean Saunders escaping a prison sentence well all I can say if that was one of us we would be in jail the laws corrupt! sorry just my view
Co. e on you wolves get in🐺.

2.) 05 Oct 2019 14:49:55
A great goal but not sure how Boly moved to the CF position we know what Neves can do and Nuno plays him as a defensive MF so he can get those passes in he's not going to dribble the ball into the box why would he?

30 Aug 2019 21:48:22
Pochettino says he would love to have kicked Paul Merson I have to say you ain't on your own mate!

10 Aug 2019 19:23:46
Just watched the vile loosing and I'm just so glad it was "girlish" who screwed up.
Welcome to the premier league!

06 Aug 2019 06:12:19
Harry Maguire £80 million, what price Willy Boly or Connor Coady?

1.) 06 Aug 2019 11:55:59
Heard his forehead alone cost £75million.

2.) 06 Aug 2019 13:06:37

3.) 06 Aug 2019 13:30:40
Yeah the valued his price on his head size and weight£££££.

4.) 06 Aug 2019 14:35:45
Maguire makes the Boly deal look the bargain of the century.

5.) 06 Aug 2019 21:22:44
I'm sure Maguire almost came to us a few years back when he left Sheffield Utd.

6.) 06 Aug 2019 21:32:53
I remember he was rumoured about 5 years ago but loads of players were

I think he's a class defender but so is Boly how much would it cost us to replace him with a proven Premier standard player? That's what he's worth.

7.) 07 Aug 2019 00:35:33
He went to Hull as they offered him Premier League football and we'd just been promoted from League 1.

8.) 07 Aug 2019 08:40:09
I'd take Boly everytime over Maguire. What a bargain he was for 10m.

Jesus was rubbish but Traore might as well have stayed in the dressing room. Great performance at City but normal service was certainly resumed on Saturday this guy is absolutely clueless he has no ability to read the game, he didn’t even make many of his clumsy no end product runs.

Premier league survival is priority one, these players look knackered and don’t have the energy to play the usual high tempo, Dendoncker might as well have stayed in the dressing room same against Chelsea.
I agree, play the kids in all the cup competitions from today and let the 1st eleven get back to where they were last season, beating not getting thrashed by Chelsea.

Dendonckers best game of the season by a mile and Traore was off the scale.
If there is one game in the whole season that matters to me it’s this one. Absolute pleasure to be there to witness a 2-1 thrashing, we should have been out of sight after the first 1/ 2 hour.
I’ve never been a fan of Traore but if he keeps improving at this rate and cuts out the odd glaring mistake he is going to be some threat “ UP THE VILLA”💩 😂😂😂.

Been found wanting, Nuno needs a plan B and better players, look at the first eleven compared to when Fosun took over, massive improvements but we need to see the same commitment from them again.
No room for sentiments, upgrade and move on!
