Loris Karius on loan.

TimmyT

1.) 22 Apr 2020 15:16:03
John Ruddy is a better keeper in my opinion. Karius was up to his ol' "butterfingers" antics at Beşiktaş.

2.) 22 Apr 2020 23:03:11
If Ruddy does leave, surely Andreas Sondergard should be given a chance. Very highly rated.

3.) 23 Apr 2020 13:16:04
Have to be honest I find the time line on the Karius tie suspicious at best! So Ruddy is tied with a money making move to Besiktas then a day or so later we are tied with Karius?! Seems to me like both stories are just part of contract negotiations between the club and Ruddy to be honest. Not even sure why Karius would want to come to us if honest, he can sit on a bench at Pool cause that's all he'd do for us! 🙄.

4.) 24 Apr 2020 14:35:39
@ BullysBoy II Isn't Ruddy out of contract at the end of the season? surely he'd be available on a free to any club?

5.) 24 Apr 2020 17:13:24
Yeah Debs that's kinda the point because it makes it VERY likely that Ruddy and the club are looking at extension options, in which case a little story saying he has other options just helps his bargaining position. As does another article reminding him that the club also have options (Karius) . Just not sure why Karius would want to come and watch Particio play?!

The James Rodriguez rumour is starting again.
Never happen.

TimmyT

1.) 10 Mar 2020 20:04:07
I laughed when I read that this morning. The source said "national paper reporting" I hovered over the hyperlink, low and behold it was in The Express! hahahahaha.

Cutrone to Bologna. Apparently they have noticed that he is getting no playing time at Wolves.

TimmyT

1.) 11 Dec 2019 11:42:32
A load of Bologna.

2.) 11 Dec 2019 11:49:20
I've just seen the Easter bunny.

3.) 11 Dec 2019 15:43:58
Apparently Bologna "enquired" about Cutrone's availability and to Everton about Moise Kean's availability. While I don't think this story is untrue I think it's a non-story the media got a whiff of.

Suso from AC Milan in January.

Any news on how long Shabani is out for?

TimmyT

1.) 09 Oct 2019 15:53:23
Possibly for the rest of the season. If rehabilitation goes well, he could be back towards the end of April/ beginning of May.

2.) 09 Oct 2019 16:00:44
Shabani has ruptured his ACL which is the most serious type of knee injury. Same injury that Gazza, Van Nistelrooy and Shearer suffered.

3.) 10 Oct 2019 13:01:24
Poor kid! Hope he makes a full recovery!

Wolves may not be playing in front of home fans for a long time.
Is now the time to redevelop Molineux completely to take advantage of this situation?

TimmyT

1.) 15 Apr 2020 16:16:51
That maybe the case. However was reported on an unreliable rumour site.

2.) 15 Apr 2020 18:25:11
The EPL are meeting on Friday. I personally can't see crowds returning until a vaccine is available so hopefully Fosun will look to at least start the ball rolling.

3.) 15 Apr 2020 20:47:10
It would be classed as none essential work and not permitted.

4.) 16 Apr 2020 09:58:34
Building work is being allowed.

5.) 16 Apr 2020 12:05:47
I understand times are difficult but can't believe that tomorrow the authorities may vote for no relegation and Leeds and Albion to be promoted.

6.) 16 Apr 2020 20:50:31
Think they are just going to fill the corner in between Steve Bull stand and the South Bank, Jas M.

14 Mar 2020 14:28:33
Too bad Wolves couldn't start early on the redevelopment of Molineux.

TimmyT

1.) 14 Mar 2020 21:33:21
I like your thinking Timmy T. Over to you Fosun.

2.) 15 Mar 2020 15:44:37
All the builders will be self-isolating in a few weeks.

He's awful. Not sure how he can play for the #1 ranked national team.
Oh yeah, he's good enough to play for Belgium. Maybe I'm wrong.

You should look at the numbers. The British/ Irish players get paid the least. Why is that? If Connor is good enough to play on the England team, why is he one of the lowest paid players?

He has to provide for his family. If someone offered me 2 or 3 times as much as I am currently making I might consider it.

£10,000 per week. Is Jonny worth 3.6 times more (£36,673)?

He should if they pay him more. He is underpaid at Wolves.

They will award places in Europe by balls in a lottery cage.
Playing the season after contracts expire at neutral sites is just as illegitimate as abandoning the season and playing next year with 23 teams in the Premier League and all of the leagues below get three from the league immediately below it.
How the Championship decides which 3 is up to them.
Rock, Paper, Scissors, perhaps.

I don't get the whole neutral ground thing. Why can't the games be played at the scheduled home ground with no fans.
If you don't have confidence that this can be done without the spreading of the disease, then it is too early to play the games anywhere.
Some teams will benefit, to some degree, playing at their home grounds even without the fans so I think that every effort should be made to keep the conditions as balanced as possible.
One home game and one away game. Not one home game and one neutral site game.

They are getting upset over the virus because if you get it, you are 10 or 20 times more likely to die.
And it is just getting started. More and more people are contracting it so in a week or two, your whole country could be locked down.

The fans should walk out at the 97th minute mark to show their displeasure.
