AMN deal dead in the water.

Tedski

1.) 30 Aug 2020 16:15:37
Apparently so, Arsenal are offering him a Contract extension and now value him at £25m which Wolves have saud they won't pay.
We're After an Antwerp player now Apparently.

2.) 30 Aug 2020 16:27:30
Course we are.?
Getting to a point where I think we're being told a load of porkys.

3.) 30 Aug 2020 16:33:57
23 year old Aurelio Buta.

4.) 30 Aug 2020 17:07:29
Yeah seems like it apparently if we don’t have a right back by our first game. Who would you play?

5.) 30 Aug 2020 17:53:42
Burr, Traore, Sanderson although not sure if the latter 2 will be upto Premiership just yet.

6.) 30 Aug 2020 18:39:18
To be fair, I'd doubt Aurelio Buta isn't just a name picked out of a hat. I'd say he's been heavily scouted, and look at the gems Wolves have uncovered in the recent seasons.

7.) 30 Aug 2020 18:48:18
If we don't buy anyone I'd give Traore a go behind Podence maybe.

8.) 30 Aug 2020 19:07:39
Buta looks a classic Wolves signing. 23 Portugese, started with Benfica, one year on contract and a regular last season.

08 Aug 2019 18:13:13
Loader deal fell through, typical.

Tedski

1.) 08 Aug 2019 20:28:32
Typical? Reading were demanding too much.

2.) 08 Aug 2019 21:07:36
Having looked at his stats I think we have dodged a bullet there!

3.) 08 Aug 2019 21:17:59
Debbie the deal was agreed they just didn't sign the paperwork to get the deal through. We had ageeed a fee and personal terms with Reading and the player.

4.) 08 Aug 2019 21:19:07
A fee had been agreed, medical done, personal terms sorted, Reading just pulled the plug on the deal.

5.) 08 Aug 2019 21:37:48
And they are going to have a pretty unhappy young man on their books so it could have been counter productive them pulling the plug.

6.) 08 Aug 2019 21:39:36
Reading moved the goalposts by demanding more money for the player. So it's Reading's issue, not Wolves. The old' increase the fee at the last minute trick.

7.) 08 Aug 2019 22:29:02
He was a loader rubbish anyway :P i'll get my coat lol.

8.) 08 Aug 2019 23:13:41
Spiers beat you to it "Reading wanted a Loader more money for the player"

02 May 2019 09:23:54
Seems we are linked to every transfer rumours now, I've a funny feeling some will go first, costa, cav, I think he'll give traore another season, can't wait for business to begin . COYW.

Tedski

1.) 02 May 2019 13:27:24
Time to admit Traore was a mistake, quite happy sitting on the bench, squad players should be trying to force their way into Nuno’s team. if he’s here next season make him buy a season ticket.

2.) 02 May 2019 17:16:00
Wouldn’t of thought he’s happy not playing but if you watch Nuno with him and the way he talks about him he’s probably told him he will work with him over the summer I’m expecting big things from him he can get past players with ease just final product needs working.

3.) 03 May 2019 11:27:17
I'd give him another season see how he gets on.

4.) 03 May 2019 16:14:13
Barcelona don’t make many mistakes when it comes to letting players go, think the only work Nuno does with him will be to help him find another Club.

5.) 03 May 2019 19:20:14
He’s had a full season to be fair, he can beat a man or two but his final ball or decision making just hasn’t improved (in my opinion)

6.) 04 May 2019 08:03:19
Look at Conner coast two seasons ago people were saying get rid
Just give him one more season.

7.) 04 May 2019 13:36:58
The guy couldn't hit a barn door from the penalty spot, reminds me of Atkinbiyi, useless.

8.) 04 May 2019 20:40:43
The same Akinbiyi that scored 16 goals in 37 games for us?

9.) 05 May 2019 08:13:06
Akinbyi?
You are joking of course, a goal every 2 games if I remember right.

10.) 05 May 2019 08:56:35
Although Traore hasn’t set the world alight this year, he still got the winner at West Ham and a couple of crucial assists I remember, without them we wouldn’t be talking about 7th and Europe, so give him another season with Nuno and full pre season.

11.) 05 May 2019 09:18:56
Akinbiyi is the only player I have seen dribble the ball out of play with no one on him. Not once but twice 😀. That boy could hit a ball though, just not dribble. Pity we can't morph him and Traore together.

12.) 05 May 2019 11:55:06
So I guess Traore is this years scapegoat then? Some of you so called fans just can't help yourselves can you? You always need to find a scapegoat regardless of us having a fantastic season.

13.) 05 May 2019 12:25:00
Totally agree give him a chance, I do think Nuno can get a decent player out of him.

14.) 05 May 2019 12:55:56
Traore is not a premier league quality player, all he has is pace and strength he gets into good positions but doesn't then have a final ball or football brain to deliver anything productive, prefer to keep Cav at least he has a goal in him.

15.) 05 May 2019 18:45:53
Pace and strength are a massive thing to have especially in premier league sterling never had a football brain till peps worked with him and look how that’s worked out I believe Nuno will make him a lot better next season.

16.) 05 May 2019 21:48:22
Danny Welbeck is being released by Arsenal. Still only 28, same age as Jimenez. Undoubted skill but injury prone. Could Doctor Nuno work his magic in him. Will be a free transfer.

17.) 06 May 2019 12:50:29
State of the vile fan trolling. It’s going to be funny when Vile make *another* hash of it in the playoff final.

Loved Moutinho reaction to jota goal, his face was a picture, clearly upset, wish rest of team had the same passion and reaction, superb player, best five million ever spent . COYW.

Tedski

1.) 17 Mar 2021 13:04:05
Moutinho was on fire. Amazing.

14 Feb 2021 12:58:17
Another pitiful first half performance, no effort, easy for southampton.
Totally lacking in ideas.

Tedski

1.) 14 Feb 2021 13:55:45
Second half, that's better, when we play as a pack we play better, more bite, need to close down quicker, show some teeth and bite, work in progress . COYW.

11 Feb 2021 19:26:20
Pitiful display.

Tedski

1.) 11 Feb 2021 19:41:22
Have to say that's as bad as I have seen this season.
No desire at all, bit the worst thing for me is the diving around, Nuno needs to sort it out and fast, some players are just not up for it, hence the lying around like they have been shot, it proper winds me up.
That game has me angered as much as the Albion one for some reason.

2.) 11 Feb 2021 22:00:40
So where are you standing on Nuno then Sydney-because these performances are not acceptable? . The run we are on, taking everything into account, is relegation form. Every time we play I seem to be watching the same sterile, putrid game after game after game.

30 Jan 2021 17:50:26
Two days to find a solution, attacking midfielders needed . A general to run the game . Coady been great servant but far too slow .

Tedski

1.) 30 Jan 2021 20:41:32
Agree Tedski. We need a Grealish in the engine room. Our speedy counter attacks have evaporated this season. We were masters of this tactic previously. Even Traore should be charging straight into the penalty area to get some inevitable penalties with his strength and speed. So how about Traore and Jose up front?

24 Jan 2021 11:40:36
Will w sign anyone else?
I would like to see a central defender and a midfield general .

Tedski

1.) 24 Jan 2021 12:11:04
Good afternoon all.
Just a rumour I heard, and going around the Cheshire area, on the Qt, Liverpool thinking of Nuno as next manager, if klopp goes at any point, mmmm. Hope Nuno stays with us and builds what he wants us to be,

2.) 24 Jan 2021 12:25:40
No chance.

3.) 24 Jan 2021 13:58:04
Jesse lingard can go out of n loan?

4.) 24 Jan 2021 15:06:20
Grey- that's hilarious mate! Why would this rumour surface now, when Klopp stocks at his highest and Nunos the opposite?! Not so much fake news no this is more nonsense news! 🤣🤣🤣.

5.) 24 Jan 2021 15:42:24
Afternoon greyleg and all,
I see you say it's a rumour greyleg but think same as bullysboy.

I'm not keen on lingard but if we sign him I will back him like every other wolves player.

As no one knows until deals agreed its 50/ 50 with me if we sign anymore this window.
Bearing in mind though the type of players that will better us are not easy to get.

6.) 24 Jan 2021 16:12:23
Hi Phil. I would take lingard on loan. There's worse out there to be honest.
As for the rumour. Time will tell
I'm behind the team, and staff
Forever take care
Coyw.

7.) 24 Jan 2021 16:32:45
Hi greyleg I understand you,
You are my legend on here,
Some of your posts make my day,
I not looking forward to the drive to brum tomorrow the snow came down bad earlier today, its the drive back home after work that's the worst you know this country when it snows most drivers don't drive properly and cause unnecessary hold ups.
Lol sorry for my driving in the snow rant.

Back to lingard if we do sign him like I said he will do a job for us as like you I back nuno the staff and the team.
Take care me mon. 😀👍.

8.) 24 Jan 2021 17:01:42
I don't think Lingard is a bad shout to be honest. Forward thinking midfielder who can play out wide (versatility is something that Nuno likes), he can give us some impetus along with Podence when he is back from injury and as his Utd career seems to be over, he would be out to prove his worth.

9.) 24 Jan 2021 17:02:40
Gerrard the next Liverpool manager. Thought everyone knew that already.

10.) 24 Jan 2021 20:58:32
Thanx ken. Your post are superb also mate, I'm driving to Telford in morn. You be careful on roads,
Look forward to further posts 👍.

By playing these new signings Nuno is showing the board that they are not good enough and they need to spend on better quality players to reach expectations, just my thoughts as to why he's sticking to his current selections.
I'd like to see traore more central so he can run straight towards goal instead of getting down the wing and crossing to nobody. enough moaning, COYW.
