Are next 3 matches all at home Portsmouth, Wrexham, Cardiff. Surely 9 points. If not something's wrong Wolves with the players they have should be top 2. Surely CP should be getting more from these players if not another Portuguese manager sacked. How many more will Wolves ever learn.
18 Oct 2026 18:00:32
9 points ?? Are we following the same team.
18 Oct 2026 21:27:30
Not a big job,, 9 points I predict
Kicks us off on a winning streak,
To the promised land
Let's be positive,, even I will try, 😉.

Tbf Cardiff were 2-0 up against boro at the weekend before drawing. There's no easy game or should wins in the championship and it feels a bit disrespectful when some claim we should easily win. Not that you said that Dmac just stating that it's never a walk in the park. Obviously I'm hopeful we can kick on after the lucky win against Burnley (incidentally they were one of the favourites for promotion before the season started) good to see other sides near the top dropping points but we need to rely on ourselves not others failings.
Let's hope the team is back to its best come Tuesday.

Many thought Bolton was a easy 3 points, it was but for them.
Never underestimate this league.
19 Oct 2026 08:07:41
I would say they are winnable games, Bolton was a winnable game too.
Nothing is certain in the championship and that's an area I reckon CP is struggling with, he dosnt know the league and he won't recognise haf the teams in it.
You can lay all the 'desiner' tactics on the table and be thwarted by the unexpected direct or closer opposition.
Work rate and desire, as I've mentioned before, are some of the key elements of success in this league, unity as a team and the collective will to win, and I'm not sure we're there yet.
Some players, understandably, think they're above this level, some are coming to the end of their tenure, and others are just starting out and finding their way, noticeably it's the younger guys and newcomer(s),who are showing the work and want that we need.
CP needs to find his feet and team preferences fosun need to show some honesty and backing.
I feel we can develop something strong and get a real threat to us, the next 3 games are going to be pivotal, can't see 9 points but 3 to start with tomorrow will be an essential boost to everyone.
19 Oct 2026 13:22:22
True about no easy games, this is probably the most competitive division of the top 4 tiers, currently no obvious runaway leaders from what I can see.
19 Oct 2026 14:32:06
Please please don't put Armstrong straight back in. Neave didn't let himself or the club down and deserves at least one more shot at starting, Armstrong can be available if required late on. Up the wolves.
19 Oct 2026 15:17:18
We need to average 2 points per game between now and the end of the season. Basically, win our home games and draw the away games. This should see us finish on 89 points.
I'm not going to give up on the team or manager just yet as we do have some favourable fixtures over the next dew weeks.
18 Oct 2026 15:14:27
We have many unhappy and frustrated fans some who blame the manager, some who blame the players, However the blame lies squarely at the feet of FOSUN who brought us cheap second rate managers and and cheap second rate players, until we have someone who has ambition passion and investment, we will continue calling ourselves a once great club, with Fosun at the helm the only way we'll go is sinking into deeper obscurity.
Hope we see the big changes we need at the Molineux soon.
18 Oct 2026 18:02:09
We will see more of the same until we run these Chinese overlords out our club.
20 Oct 2026 15:36:29
Trippier the reason in my humble opinion that he decided to go to Wolves, he would likely view Wolves as a stepping stone to his managerial ambitions, a club because of the constant turnover of managers, if the current manager gets sacked I could see them chancing there arm with Trippier.
18 Oct 2026 11:47:24
I think the next couple of weeks will tell us a lot, games we need to win to push us up the table, failure to do so will make the position of CP dodgy.
Failure to sign a striker to back up what we have was a terrible decision, we seem to make these decisions too often.
Hope Neave can continue to play, I think we have some decent players probably not good enough for top 2, however up to CP to get the best out of them and for a change, a manager that can achieve performances that reflect the qualities of the players.

The Wolves players are trying; that is clear to see. Lopez's goal celebration vs Burnley was incredible, and it shows how much the Wolves players want to succeed. You could see the anger in Lopez's eyes when celebrating his goal.
The fight is there; that is clear to see. The performance vs West Brom shows that. Wolves battered Albion. The Wolves players gave the Wolves fans exactly what they wanted. It was a 1-0 annihilation.
The quality is there; that is clear to see. Fer Lopez is at times phenomenal. It won't be long before he's playing at the highest level. Hopefully it will be with Wolves! Nonetheless, there isn't a better player in the Championship.
Rafiki Said is a quality player. He's exactly what Wolves need. He could finish the season as the Championship's top assist provider. Keep him fit and Wolves are a dangerous side.
The Wolves team is currently struggling. It seems that whatever can go wrong is going wrong. The team is conceding one Worldie after another. Decisions are going against them, easy chances aren't being buried, and players are picking up horrible injuries.
The only mistake Fosun and Wolves have made was not having a ready-made like-for-like replacement for a 35-year-old Raul Jimenez. A risk was taken and it's backfired. Hopefully Neave can step up until either Raul comes back or a new signing comes in.
There are positives, and Wolves can turn things around. Top two is going to be tough, but they can do it. As the saying goes, it's not how you start, it's how you finish.
18 Oct 2026 18:54:41
Nothing wrong with your comments 248 but the mistakes and risks taken in the transfer market have been repeated for years, with similar consequences. Of course it's down to funding, or the lack of, but you also have to question the decision making at club level as well.
18 Oct 2026 09:39:14
Well we won!
As for our manager saying we were the better side. what game was he watching the 1st half we were crap.
Loads of missed chances. nobody seems to know that the ball as to go between the posts into the net. why does nobody ever mark hardy left open several times. poor per.

18 Oct 2026 13:03:21
Tfiog3 i agree with most of your player rating but Toti a 6 no way. He gave the ball away for them to score he is useless. And your team got to play Krejkci in his place.
18 Oct 2026 13:36:04
Plus forgot to say why is James not playing hes a better football player than Munetsi. But for some reason CP wont play him i just dont understand what CP sees. Plus i would drop Sa and play Virginia he cant be any worse and Sa is making to many mistakes.
18 Oct 2026 19:50:03
Dmac I have been a massive critic of Toti for a while now and do not dispute - as I state - that he is not a good footballer. However he is a decent athlete and tries hard and I didn't think he was "useless" this week.
Not sure the goal was his fault.
The move started from Burnley's own penalty box where Bellegarde left his man unmarked allowing an easy exit.
It allowed the Burnley LB to be play an unopposed ball into midfield- again an unmarked player - who then slipped the ball in behind Djiga to an on running Vardy who then knocked it across Sa - who prob should have done better.
Toti was the other side of Vardy and might have got across but that would have been stellar defending and not sure he can be blamed?
Also although I believe Krejci is a far better player he too has been massively criticised on SM for errors and a poor attitude.
But in the side I pick from what is available I acknowledge that I am shocked Toti is included.
However options are v v limited.
It is pointless picking 2 wingers when Wolves don't have any of the required standard who are fit - the love for Said based on one or two impressive moments in an otherwise average at best performance is hard to understand.
Consequently i have gone for a narrow 4,3,2,1 - which means you have to play Krejci in the midfield 3- (or Munetsi or Bellegarde both of whom are far worse/limited than Toti) so he can't play at the back so i have to pick Toti.
The limitations of the squad are indeed shocking!
When everyone is fit I drop Krejci back into the back 4 switch to 4,2,3,1 bringing Gomes in to both provide some width and protect Trippier who can't be expected to cope with quick wingers one on one at his age.
If only we could blend Jackson's athleticism with Trippier's football skills!

18 Oct 2026 08:12:37
Even the most blinkered Wolves fan must have been deeply concerned about how we played Moby in the 1st half.
A class finish from our one quality player, saved us and allowed to grind out the win in the second half against a team in the relegation zone.
17 Oct 2026 15:29:50
Dare I say it Same old wolves.
Toti is not good enough to start never mind be captain.
Munetsi tries but has no quality.
The service into the box is pretty poor.
Why can't Tchatchua go past defenders and put in a decent cross.
The passing is shocking.
To often runners from midfield seem to surprise our defence.
Sa is very poor with ball at his feet but a good shot stopper.
Said and Neave caught the eye and should get a run in the team.
James needs to start.
Fer look frustrated at times.
Mane is not a starter but an impact player with 20 mins to go.
Kryci needs to sort his head out.
17 Oct 2026 18:13:18
you forgot that the finishing is s****
18 Oct 2026 10:09:32
Let's face it, there's no finishing!
17 Oct 2026 11:09:43
tchatchoua im probably your biggest fan. but mate. how can you be so quick yet be so reluctant to run with the ball?
you could be an elite player if you work on your ball carrying and driving into space.
rafiki said. this guy is pure flair! he's left footed and he's whipping balls in with the outside of his right. and he should have 2 assists this week minimum for doyle and armstrong.
17 Oct 2026 14:02:50
I'm guessing a lack of confidence with Tchatchoua unless he's not fully fit. His speed could be a great asset for us when utilised.
It was well worth waiting for Said to be fit. Fans might have thought we had signed a dud but he looked awesome at times last night. Armstrong and Doyle missed sitters from him.
17 Oct 2026 15:59:34
He has to play the way the coach instructs him to.

Not sure Mane did that much tbh, other than the fairly easy pass to set up the second goal. I might have got him mistaken but it seemed twice when we had the ball in the corner near the end of the game he tried to do something fancy and lost the ball easily instead of just keeping it in the corner.
There were a few questionable decisions as always, I don't get why when we had a throw in at their end Jackson decides to throw it all the way back to our defence, just seems like a waste and takes the pressure off Burnley's defence.
17 Oct 2026 15:57:13
Agree there goatmark, I had forgotten about him coming on and was asking me son if he knew where he was playing, but,and we all see things differently, I thought he was quite clever in those corner moments.
Jackson is a puzzle, he's got the speed, he gets to the spot and then wastes the opportunity, either delivering a poor ball or more often than not stopping pulling the ball back and letting the opposition regain the space he'd created.
Let's hope they up things on Tuesday.
