Seems the moaners are out early, never ceases to amaze me, we're mid table team already! Give them a chance, I've finally got a season ticket this year and am looking forward to seeing some good matches, just let the team give it a go and back them, COYW.

Everyone backs the team, Wolfcall, and want them to do well, but quite legitimately, some criticise the owners for their policies and mismanagement that have impacted so badly on the club over the last 7 years or so.
If those policies are maintained, with the club still starved of any real ambition from Fosun, why would anyone find that acceptable or them immune from criticism?
Labelling people as 'moaners' because they want the best for their club is what I don't understand.

Agreed, Long. Let's see where we are in the next few weeks.
If Fosun have demonstrated a positive approach to sorting the squad out, any negativity would be inappropriate. If they haven't, then.......

Well said, Long and Rugeley. Me personally, Fosun have had enough chances to right the wrongs.

Baffles me how bad our owners are and they don't realise it. We got promoted a year before the vile. They are now Champions League again and signing Manzambi who has been brilliant in the World Cup. We are getting relegated and signing a Comoros winger who was ok in the Belgian league. Will they ever admit they are business men and not football?

6

13 Jul 2026 20:33:49
Mark, what Fosun have done is nothing short of criminal neglect, and to allow Vile to overtake us to the extent they have amounts to a dereliction of duty and promise.

Looks like Fosun are putting together a 'one season' team, more of a team to stay in the Championship while they decide what to do with the Club rather than a team to take the League by storm.

12 Jul 2026 12:48:34
Yeah. I mean, Trippier and Raul are your typical lower-league strugglers, ain't they, who are signed by teams fighting relegation year after year.

Typical Ron Moore attitude, always looking on the bright side. Don't know why they call themselves Wolves supporters with that attitude.

Always the positive, aren't you, Ron, mate.

I don’t think Fosun need to buy players to keep Wolves in the Chump while they organise a sale of the club.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to move unhappy/hopeless players out, get players in, get Wolves back into the PL, and then sell the club with it in a better financial/sellable position?

On a happier note, it made me laugh seeing Ki-Jana Hoever back for pre-season training.

Didn’t Wolves sign him when HMS Bounty was setting off to Tahiti? Hoever easily ranks as one of the worst signings Wolves have ever made.

Rest in peach Jayden Adams. Just played for South Africa weeks ago, passed away in his home town. Just 25, truly tragic.

I might be getting too optimistic but I am actually really happy that we signed Rafiki Said, cuz we need that type of player in our squad, somebody who is not afraid to take on defenders, isn't afraid to try to shoot the ball.
I know the fee is too much and there might be better players but this guy might just be special.

Apparently FosunOut fits the attacking style that Wolves now want to pursue, so I for one will applaud that. There's been speculation on here about how effective he might be in English football, but if he's prepared to take players on and can cross a ball then he'll do for me.

We've seen too much playing back and across the pitch in recent years, thank you very much.

Does anyone know what players are missing from the Portuguese trip other than Moller Wolfe obviously?

11 Jul 2026 14:58:13
I assume Raul + Jose Sa may be late back from the World Cup.

11 Jul 2026 16:09:15
I would have thought Bellegarde, Santi, Sa, Raul, Krejci and Sasa are still on holiday, having been at the World Cup, and Moller Wolfe will be given time off after England beat Norway tonight (hopefully).

Give it a rest, Moby. So long as people are respectful, they are entitled to their opinion. I realise I'm picking you up on your opinion, but you're contradicting yourself from one message to another. It's becoming tiresome.

11 Jul 2026 14:28:51
They're disrespectful, these fans.
Like someone said, any player looking to come to Wolves, if they see this site, will run a mile.
Don't put down a player until you have seen him play.
Or are you a whang fan.

We all have our favourite players, and we all have players that we would rather didn't get a starting position, but as Wolves fans, we should be supporting them as soon as they pull on the shirt, regardless of our opinion.

Every single player last season was dreadful, bar a few good displays here and there. Mane, for me, was very overrated. He had an excellent game against West Ham, then it seemed teams sussed him out. But, I think the big problem last season was the set up of the team. Vp had them playing backwards, and Rob continued the trend.

Mane looked good when allowed to roam across the front line, however, from memory, this was few and far between.

Hopefully the system Peixoto likes to play will suit the likes of Mane, Rodrigo, and Said, and we will see a more attacking team.

I doubt any professional footballer who's been offered tens of thousands a week to play gives a flying 'f' what a small cluster of fans on a forum think. 😂😂

That’s Rafiki in then. Despite a lot of negative comments on here, I think he will be a decent player. Scored at least 8 goals in all of the last 4 seasons, looks creative from highlights I’ve seen. As long as he can adapt quickly, which will be helped by him having a full preseason, I think he should do very well this year.

Also, the fact that Matt Jackson has said he’s on of Cesars priorites is good, as it shows we are signing players we actually want, and getting our business done early.

I firmly believe that potential incoming players always consider the status and credibility of the Manager (Peixoto) before committing themselves to a transfer. Then add to this the track record of the Owners (Fosun).
When taking this into consideration Wolves are hardly an awe inspiring proposition.
Sad but in my opinion, true.

5

11 Jul 2026 10:07:24
You're actually chatting sense, but also garbage at the same time.
Peixoto is the new club coach, he's not the manager, he has a say in players coming in, but he has no more than 50% in the choice; that's what the scouts and recruitment team do.
As for Fosun owning Wolverhampton Wanderers, get used to it; it's not going to change anytime soon.

11 Jul 2026 10:30:16
Please read again, sME... "In my opinion"... "incoming players perceptiveness"... Coach/Manager, same thing in the eyes of incoming players.
Your comment on Fosun I consider to be garbage, as it merely reinforces my opinion.

11 Jul 2026 18:47:31
You make perfect sense to me, Oxley. Wolves' reputation has gone downhill since Nuno left. Any credibility we could have gained was gone with Lopetegui going. Whose fault was that? Fosuns.
