I still think Nuno is a good manager. However, can’t see Rob going anywhere; it seems he is in place for next season regardless of awful performances.
We have to hope, with different players and opposition, performances and playing style will be much improved.

Not convinced at all, but it looks as though we will find out.
Is it wrong to already ask, how many games should Rob get to prove himself in the Championship?

It'll be as long as it takes, Banksy. I'd prefer to start the season with hope and anticipation, but I've lost the confidence in RE.
Of course, we don't know what squad we'll have, we don't know how preseason will go, so I'll be behind whoever, but if it is RE, on the showing of late, it can't be too long, or our season will have been lost before we started.

New players, as well as new coaches, are needed.

Rob just needs to find solutions.

can people please stop banging the Nuno drum. He left wolves years ago and he's a one-trick pony who's about to get West Ham relegated. do we really want to go back to sit back counter attacking football with traore crossing the ball into the Coventry canal?

great when it works, dreadful when it falls apart.

Move on for the love of God.

Pairing up front next season.
Mane - Jimenez.

Nuno saved Forest from relegation, and took them to a whisker of the Champions League in spite of a difficult owner. Not bad for a one-trick pony!

West Ham aren't going down because of Nuno. They're going down because of where they were when Potter was sacked. That was after they replaced Moyes with JLO, expecting better football...

I don't think he should come back, as it may damage his legacy, but he is a good manager.

Wolves had a little momentum going prior to the international break. Since then, two points, two goals. Perhaps mentally some players never returned from the break. Anyone at the Fulham game would have thought Wolves were the away team, just 31% possession. Wolves may have beaten the worst points accumulated in the league, but are the worst team in the league performance-wise.

Rob Edwards, is he in cloud cuckoo land, going on about building a platform from Sunday's game? Does he realise we looked good, but we were against a very poor Fulham side who ain't firing on all cylinders. I know Rob loves our club, but if he loves us so much, do the right thing and leave.

I don't think he will do any good in the Championship, we need a good clearout from top to bottom.
I think if West Ham are relegated, I don't think Nuno will be there. Wouldn't it be nice if he returns and the likes of Neves, Saiss and Jimenez return.

Nuno will probably be sacked. I would welcome him back at Wolves, not just for sentiment, but because he is a fine coach and a great human being. He gave about a quarter of a million quid to a local Midlands' charity, I believe, when at Wolves.

If Nathan Shi is serious, the obvious thing to do is to restart that famous project of a decade ago, which was totally botched by Jeff. Next month is the tenth anniversary of the Fosun takeover. Nathan could make it a happy one for us.

Just a thought, Kieran Trippier, player/manager, vast experience, still nimble at 35, born leader! FWAW.

17 May 2026 20:42:57
I'd have him as a player.

But player/manager, no, as he hasn't done any coaching badges.

Stop with the fantasy managers. We need an experienced manager who will take no nonsense from players.

How did we not score more than 1 Mosquera header Armstrong post nearly men ay we?

17 May 2026 19:08:02
Raul Jimenez coming back to Wolves?! Romain Saiss coming back to Wolves?!

Let the good times roll!

Nathan Shi is on his way to greatness!

If, and it's a big if, we resign Raul, what a statement of intent that will be. Straight away it gets everyone onside again. Don't expect he'd lead the line all season, but what a squad addition he would be.

Yerson is garbage in front of goal with headers.... Saiss & Jiminez are past it... for the Championship... really. 🫣 🫣 🫣.... Armstrong is a goal every 10 games anyway..... We're in a mess.. keep RE we're doomed... keep the players who we cant sell we're doomed.....

We have 1game.... 1game..... win at Burnley and get off bottom..... (presuming they lose at Arsenal).... if RE cant getem up for this game away win.... he should be sacked and left to walk home...... if hes in charge after not doing so..... im done.

I know some are going to slate me for this but I'm gonna write it anyway as this is what I feel having seen today's performance.

Yes, I admit that it was a better display, well until we scored anyway.

After that, Fulham dominated the game but for once, our defence held firm thanks in no part to the experience of Krejci and Santi. Had Toti have been on the pitch, we would have lost but the one thing I noticed (and the reason why some will slaters me) is Hwang's performance.

Yes, he got the assist and nearly got a 2nd but other than that, he offered nothing. Now I sit in the North Bank so saw Wolves attacking that goal.

In the first half. Mane, Rodrigo and Armstrong were all getting at the Fulham defence and trying to create some space which could be attacked. Hwang, on the other hand, didn't. Just before he got the assist, he had the ball, misplaced it and then fell over. It was thanks to the fall that he happened to be in the right area when the ball returned off a deflection for him to pass it to Mane who scored.

Hwang casually walks into the area whenever Wolves were attacking.

In the 2nd half, Fulham brought on Raul. From the get go, he was winning or at least challenging for everything and then sprinting into the box to offer an outlet.

Hwang hasn't been good enough for years. Ran and Cunha briefly made him look half decent. Wolves have only been playing him for commercial reasons. That's not Hwang's fault.

I hope he finds a new club and does well. I don't agree with Wolves fans cheering when he's substituted.

What a sad state of affairs. Players, who've played their last game at home for Wolves, hurriedly waving goodbye to 2, 500 fans who are singing "Si Senor"!

There has to be a complete clear out, and that includes the coaching staff.

6

17 May 2026 18:14:08.
B O Bill, from what I saw, the players all walked around and applauded the fans. As you say, a complete clear-out, everybody knows that Wolves start from now. Sell and build a team to get straight back, as Nathan Shi said, that's the aim.

Will it happen? Don't know, but Shi wasn't shy on his comments about how the club was run before. Hopefully, this Shi will turn things round and get Wolves back in the PL, if he says what's true.

17 May 2026 16:01:01
For me, we should keep Krejci, Mane, R. Gomes, maybe Santi, and then everyone else needs to be replaced.

2

17 May 2026 17:35:50
Agreed.

You must have forgotten Hugo? Player of the season by a country mile.

17 May 2026 15:54:54
Thought I had seen Armstrong and Hwang were starting. Must have got it wrong, not seen them yet.
Good goal Mane, as others have said he is only reason we have got as many points as we have.

2

17 May 2026 17:50:16
Armstrong gives 100% but he's not a Premier League player. Painfully out of his depth.

I'm genuinely starting to worry about next season. I don't think Rob is capable of turning things around.

(As much as Wolves fans need to stop harping on about the good old days), Nuno had an arrogance about him that he could carry off. He talked the talk and walked the walk. Rob is all talk.

17 May 2026 18:29:12
Armstrong and Tolu can do one for me.
Along with Lima, Doc, Toti, Johnstone, Bentley, plus anyone else who doesn't want to be here.

5

17 May 2026 18:58:20
B O Bill, if that was Armstrong giving 100% God help us when he plays under par.
