Gloomy lack of news ahead of the season starting

Bruno has identified target areas to improve and said players to invest in some rather expensive in my opinion

Awaiting an attacking minded midfielder and a second centre back to be recruited

Joao Felix has been considered the unique and ideal target with an Installment scheme over 3 years to be the only way to get around ffp Atleti rumoured with Bernardo Silva so there's potential .

No news on the defensive recruitment .

Fosun are reluctant to invest without sales which is worrying and should be for all fans regarding the direction of the club.

So you have Bruno's ear, then? Name the expensive players he's mentioned to you over a glass of Douro please.

2.) 09 Aug 2021 12:52:59
@ Old Wulf, your answer cracked me up!

3.) 09 Aug 2021 13:22:53
Nuno identified players he wanted, he’s bringing some of them to show us next week.

4.) 09 Aug 2021 14:19:34
Don’t understand the negative response that being said 60%+ of our fan base are fickle on best days

Palhinha rumours are confirmed and contact regarding coutinho also confirmed but changed for obvious reasons regarding departure of Messi.

5.) 09 Aug 2021 14:30:31
theonewolf-you are spot on-trouble is you can't share worrying analysis on this site without being criticised for being negative.

6.) 09 Aug 2021 15:09:18
No news is good news.

7.) 09 Aug 2021 16:37:40
Hang on a sec, there. What's fickle about my query? You mention rumours being confirmed. Just where exactly have they been confirmed please unless it's on a different planet to the one I live on. They are only confirmed if Jeff Shi states that Wolves are in discussions with a named player but, of course, that is never going to happen.

8.) 09 Aug 2021 18:46:56
I’m fickle, expected the investment company to carry on investing in the team and the stadium and give Nuno their full support.

Alvarez is not happening - Fallout between Fosun and Darymple is because of the deal falling through

Diego Costa is not happening - all hype started from a rumour that has been circling since last seasons January transfer window.

Morgan Gibbs-White is the midfielder in the plans to be used as starting XI rotation rather than investing in new midfielders.

An enquiry about the potential signing of Malcom has been made with the intent of stealing the transfer before Everton get in.

Says who? You?

2.) 14 Jul 2019 09:57:40
Amazing how everyone know this bull when Fosun/ Nuno and Wolves haven't released anything yet.
As I said, Stop making up bull, it's getting boring.!

3.) 14 Jul 2019 10:26:56
While I agree with all of you calling out the bull, I'm just going to take a moment and enjoy the thought of Malcom in a Wolves team.

4.) 14 Jul 2019 16:17:27
There will be NO signings. Relegation.

5.) 14 Jul 2019 17:52:33
LD had nothing to do with player signings or contracts as he was responsible for corporate side of club not playing. Let's get some basic facts right.

After previously worrying about the uncertainty of Nuno and the coaching staff I bring good news.

Nuno and co have agreed new terms with the club and will be announced most likely this friday.

Marketing campaign following it is to revolve around the motto NUNO2024.

Finally can sleep well knowing we have the fellas for 4 more years, they have been absolutely crucial to the club.

Massive cheers to Jeff Shi also for stepping up and putting the offer forward to Nuno. No exact figures for Nuno but hovering around the £5m annually.

That's fantastic news theonewolf.

Hope this is true it's massive that we keep him hear and hope Traore and Jimenez will follow in his footsteps we have a great friendly togetherness hear and a fantastic squad of player's and staff that have a great understanding with Nuno we are only improving and have developed into a top six team and why can't we be top four a champions league spot is in our grasp.
Always wolves🐺🧡🖤.

4.) 23 Jun 2020 16:18:38
That is fantastic news, if it's true of course. I cannot imagine anyone else being able to come into our club and continue the 'family' feel that Nuno has created. I think something will have gone desperately wrong for Nuno to leave the club at any time.
Long live Nuno and long live the family!

Good question SQ. Agree Paul Somerset wolf and Niknaklady.

I spent a lot of time thinking about the coaching staff including Nuno the other night.

The rumours flying around about players always happen and I don't take notice of them one bit, I remember when there was talk of Coady going to Arsenal in January. lol.

One thing that does worry me slightly and it seems to vibe with everyone else. how long Fosun are leaving it before offering Nuno a contract.

That being said, does Nuno want to stay with the Wolves? He has revolutionised the squad and club overall with the ethic and mentalilty but I do wonder if he wants to stay himself? sure he could be getting paid a lot. but is he bored?

Also. if he moves. I can see a lot of the players moving too. He has nurtured the attitude at the club. any players that get too big for themselves get dropped and sold on, all of the first team are level headed and without Nuno I fear a lot of them would have already left.

Fingers crossed we keep the staff and Nuno.

I'm sure he'll sign a new contract. It could be that the club are waiting until they know if the qualify for Europe and if so, which competition.

2.) 09 Jun 2020 20:35:53
Not a good sign for restart losing to Forest 2-0.

3.) 09 Jun 2020 22:09:05
The team was made up of a mixture of 1st teamers and U23's. don't read too much into the result.

4.) 10 Jun 2020 05:38:46
Pretty sure nuno and fosun are sorting contract out at the end of the season.
I have no worries about nuno leaving us.
FWAW.

5.) 11 Jun 2020 16:46:47
Not sure if I'm right but I seem to remember a similar situation last time he was due to talk about a new contract. Didn't he say he wouldn't talk about it until the season was over? I'm sure it'll be the same this time. At Wolves he has exactly what he wanted to build, it's working great and he has the backing of the board with money to spend. He has no prima donna's and has them moulded into an amazing 'family' Can't see why he would want to go elsewhere.

6.) 11 Jun 2020 18:12:19
Hi all, havnt been on for a while, hope all are ok in this the virus episode. Firstly paultam you are so right in your entries re the racial on goings, forget colour or shade all lives matter. Re Nuno and contract, nuno has a dream and it's in the process of coming true. He's built a family and got the respect and I don't think a man of his convictions would walk away before the 'job' was done. he'd be betraying himself the staff and us the fans. However, he is in the employ of fosun and they should not betray the ambitions set, but the kudos of managing Real or Barcelona and if we're spittingly honest the mancs or red scousers then I'm sure nuno could be tempted. I think he loves the wolves he cares for his teams and will stay another year at least. My fingers are firmly crossed and silverware will be at molineux before he moves on. Take care everyone and keep safe.

7.) 11 Jun 2020 18:46:32
I concur with Niknaklady👌
Nice to see you back on here abbywolf and that you are ok. 👍
Good vibes to all wolf pack on here hopefully we will see nuno lift some silverware with us. 🤞
I've been watching wolves v sheffield united 89 when we clinched the old third division title 2-2 my bro and I were there in the mosh on the south bank didn't see Robbie Dennisons free kick go in the net through the surge in the mosh. great great memories. The next day on the news sport we saw the guy through the home dressing room open window arms round bully's neck come on me babbies. wonder where that wolves fan is today.
If you are on this site and reading this you are a legend mate a ****ING icon.
FWAW.

8.) 11 Jun 2020 21:14:16
Hey Phil I always thought the clip of the guy through the dressing room window was the night we beat Notts County to send us to Wembley for the Sherpa Van final?

9.) 12 Jun 2020 06:49:23
Hi SQ I was sure it was that night against sheff utd but I could be wrong most likely you are correct I was 15 years old in 89 it was a brilliant time back then.
All we had was a few minutes of wolves games on Central news and Midlands today.
FWAW.

10.) 12 Jun 2020 06:59:22
SQ in 88 when we won sherpa van my parents had paid for school holiday for me in Austria so I had to miss out going to Wembley my dad brother best older friends and their dad's all went to Wembley in a minibus I was gutted lol I spent loads phoning my mom from Austria for the score whilst on holiday. Also my brother went to the mercentile (sorry if spelling is wrong) credit centenary festival I was 14 and wasn't allowed to go. I remember the song on he southbank.
Tell me mom me mom to put the champagne on ice we're going to Wembley twice tell me mom me mom.

11.) 12 Jun 2020 09:56:14
