Suggestions in Chinese press that the Ajax chief scout, Zardo, is to be appointed in place of Thelwell. Plus they are to appoint a new financial director.

Can we have a whip around to buy a leaving present for Moxey? I suggest a copy of the Dale Carnegie book "How to win friends and influence people".
2.) 09 Jul 2016 12:28:20
Moxey leaving is the best part of the takeover deal.
3.) 09 Jul 2016 12:49:18
lupinehowler, Ajax chief scout is hans van der zee.
4.) 09 Jul 2016 13:22:09
Only passing on what has been reported.

I read somewhere yesterday that the Ajax coach coming to Wolves was Patrick Ladru who will replace Therwell. I also read the the CEO will be Mr Zhang who is currently on the board of Baidu. Don't know how true this is but we'll wait and see.

Reported that KJ was watching Warsaw player Michal Zyro last weekend. Have heard him linked to the club before and now entering his last year of contract.
1.) 02 Jun 2015 19:14:05
I have said since january he will be our number 1 signing very simular to how we signed RVLP!

Tbh I think next seaso. Vlp is going to have loads of pressure on him now I know this is going to sound abit u know but I think I know why vlp played so often last season okay he was still getting used to the league and in our first 5 games we played teams that don't really close you down and and allow u to have a bit of the ball that's why he looked good but then we started playing teams that did and he got a bit exposed and he admitted he was just getting used it this season now he knows the pace, strength of the league and all that I will expect him to do a lot lot better next season and get quite a few goals because he has the pace and ability and quality to do it he has proved that in games now on to my theory of why he played so often
1. Because kj wanted to get used to the league knowing he was going to more than likely lose BS
2. Other than sako VLP is the only other winger with pace and skill to commit players
3. He must of always impressed in training
Tbh what I'm trying to say is that VLP is the only other dynamic winger we had other than sako and I think kj wanted some similar to sako (VLP) with pace and skill and ability to commit players to play down the right which VLP gives you
Know that's just my opinion I'm probably going to get people that agree and that don't but u know this is just my opinion and before people start I have a season ticket and have renewed for our promotion winning season next season ๐๐

Hi Matt I get where you are coming from. VLP is one of those exasperating players that you know he has the speed and ability but not the brain power to go with it and that is where he fails.
I agree KJ was giving him game time for that very reason like he gave Batth the captaincy now to allow him to grow into it, that's KJ's thinking.
But don't forget Matt Boukari hopefully will be fighting fit this season. I recall seeing him play before that moron from Wednesday stamped on his achilles to stop him. He was faster than VLP by a mile and he has a brain. So I for one am keeping my fingers crossed that he is fit
4.) 03 Jun 2015 14:40:42
I remember that game he was our best player antill he came of and that changed to game he's quick fairly strong can go sh and cross and will more than likley be like a new signing if he gets back to his best
5.) 03 Jun 2015 20:46:12
Goal scoring winger with Championship experience, out of contract and of interest to us in the past. Maybe a little old at just turned 29 but ticks all the other boxes. Jamie Ward, just released by Derby!

Itโs fascinating that a delay in announcing signings causes some on here to think that the club is imploding.
The loss of Thelwell has left a gap but we have a capable group of scouts, a backroom staff that is the envy of many, close connections to Jorge M. and of course Nuno himself so I donโt think that we struggle to identify suitable transfer targets the difficulty comes in securing their signature because if they are any good others will be chasing them as well.
Also worth noting that our present squad seems very tight knit so anyone joining has to buy into the squad ethic, if not the whole plan could be seriously set back.
Iโm fully expecting good players to come in โโ-but with no advance fanfare.

As long as we keep Dendoncker!

Poor Paul,
Got the timing all wrong unlike Leander.

Vinagre, Kilman, Gibbs-White all youngsters pushing for a place so perhaps the investment in youth does have a purpose.

two scouts and one of the medical team have flown to Uganda.
Target unknown.

Traore seems to be holding out for a better contract than has been offered. I would let him go, both Podence and Neto are far better options. He, s a one trick pony, can be exciting for a few minutes but he is generally sussed out by the other teams now. Take the money and run.

Good to see you come on board. Some good topics discussed most recently VAR!

Dendoncker at risk, doubt it, ticks all of Nunos boxes.
31 Aug 2020 10:47:08
What would I change? Not much really when you consider that our trajectory for the past four years has been upward.
Who would I sign? Anyone who gets Nunos approval.
Who would I move on? Probably Moutinho, he has done his job for us but we should be looking to a younger replacement with an attacking flair.
Would need to stay on the right side of financial constraints.

We also have funds from the sale of Cav and Helda.
