Welcome Daniel Podence. Hallelujah at last, I was getting sick of reading the on and off reports for the last few weeks.
Sounds like an excellent prospect, another speed machine on the opposite wing.
Looking forward to seeing him play soon.

1.) 30 Jan 2020 15:15:52
Excellent news, just hope we can get a defender over the line, Xmas come early then .

2.) 30 Jan 2020 15:20:59
Must make SQ (Silly Quotes?) feel a bit worse than silly given the drivel that has been spouting forth about it not happening.

3.) 30 Jan 2020 15:51:05
And don't forget the others who said it wasn't going to happen - 1 even said in capital letters that we were signing nobody.

4.) 30 Jan 2020 16:19:09
And the ones who mentioned about the fictitious 30m transfer fund.

5.) 30 Jan 2020 18:00:56
Fair play Nune ES. We didn't need VAR to spot your clear and obvious error, written in large capital letters to make your point! At least you admit it. Good lad. What interests me though is why you were so sure? Was it fake fans like SQ influencing you? The media were all over the place but journos like Tim Nash are more reliable guides.

6.) 30 Jan 2020 19:51:59
That's the number one ot the letter I Deep Throat, I was referring to a poster called the wolf or something like that who claimed it was not happening.

17 Jul 2017 06:56:40
Kenneth Omeruo not coming to Wolves according to his facebook page.

1.) 17 Jul 2017 10:39:54
Not to bothered about this news and I am sure that once the lads are back from tour there will be more comings and goings.

2.) 17 Jul 2017 13:02:49
No suprise to see Jack Price doing well in a passing side.

3.) 17 Jul 2017 13:45:08
Ike Ugbo has gone to Barnsley.

4.) 17 Jul 2017 13:47:47
Assombalonga has gone to Boro. Probably score the winner against Wolves on the opening day of the season.

5.) 17 Jul 2017 13:57:58
A Boro fan will likely say the same about Negrado.

6.) 17 Jul 2017 14:27:38
Just because we didn't sign him?! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ maybe we never wanted to sign him. maybe you're all took in by paper talk.
Do we say this for every player who scores against us? "We should have signed him"

We will obviously sign at least 1 striker.
Calm down.

03 Sep 2016 07:58:02
So Mike Williamson probably out until 2017! Good job we've now got plenty of cover.
Should get rid now and cut our losses. Not sure anyone will buy him though, retirement more likely. Sorry Mike.

1.) 03 Sep 2016 09:10:12
He would have been back this season had it been done sooner. It would be a nice story if he came back and propelled us to promotion, tho.

2.) 03 Sep 2016 09:15:55
Team for Burton. Ikeme Doc Baath Stearman Borthwick Jackson Tex Saiss Prince Costa Big Dadi Cavaleiro. Mighty Wolves 5 Burton 0๐Ÿ‘.

3.) 03 Sep 2016 09:37:29
He's out of contract end of the season so either way we would have to pay him up so might as well keep him just in case he actually does get fit.

4.) 03 Sep 2016 10:47:25
What a waste of 200.000 a lot of money in our world.

5.) 03 Sep 2016 11:04:44
We're paying Mike Williamson's wages till the end of the season anyway. Who knows, he might come back for a final promotion push in February/ March? There may be alternative scenarios, like, we could pay off his contract now but it must be in both party's interests to wait and see.

6.) 03 Sep 2016 11:27:47
Spearman is now looking more and more like a shrewd bit of business. What ere the 'footballing reasons' for shunting him to Fulham in the first place? Perhaps Moxey saying to Jackett that if he wanted to hold on to Afobe he had to recoup some money. Then Afobe goes in January and we get Williamson to shore up the defence which we needed because we couldn't score. Total mess but at least we haven't been left with a bomb squad.

7.) 03 Sep 2016 11:48:31
Paul that team has have me the shivers, God knows what burton are thinking!

8.) 03 Sep 2016 12:25:52
That team put out regularly will put an extra 5 k on the gate! And hopefully keep us in play offs at least! Forget Saville Evans coady and although I like him Price, and Edwards and Hause. Walt must be brave and go with that team! Remember it's Burton were playin not Bayern ๐Ÿ‘.

9.) 03 Sep 2016 12:54:10
We do have to be cautious of Burton they have had a couple of promising results and scrap for their lives. That being said if we can batter them I think this will send a message to the rest of the division.

10.) 03 Sep 2016 13:35:41
Look down that little lot and find a CH;

11.) 03 Sep 2016 15:55:04
Pauls team for Burton Albion would also be my team. Supported by substitutes that must include Coady, Mason and Iorfa. Coady and Mason have both played very well and don't deserve to be dropped but you can only play 11.This is a great problem to have and it begs the question about Dicko when he is ready.

12.) 03 Sep 2016 18:21:31
Coady and Mason why would you drop them they have been playing well it's Edwards, Saville, Iorfa and Price who played badly at Huddersfield and will be lucky to get to play next match in my opinion on that performance.
The midfield was non existent last game 1st half, second half was a lot better when Zenga sorted the midfield out and I think we were very unlucky to not come away with at least a point if not two, but to me the damage was done first half.

13.) 03 Sep 2016 19:41:06
We haven't even seen Silivio yet and he's supposed to be dynamite when he's fit.

14.) 03 Sep 2016 20:00:04
We have some good players but we haven't seen them play yet there will likely be one or two that really aren't as good as we hope and knowing our luck one or two will be injured most of the season I think we will start with about 50/ 50 old and new players.

15.) 03 Sep 2016 21:29:03
Team v Burton:

Ikeme
Doherty Batth Stearman Borthwick-Jackson
Oniangue Saiss Teixiera
Cavaleiro Bodvarsson John

Subs: Lonergan, Iorfa, Hause, Coady, Costa, Dicko, Gladon

Back-up; Silvio, Price, Wallace, Mason

Just my opinion obviously.

16.) 04 Sep 2016 01:11:28
My team v Burton:
Ikeme
Iorfa Batth Stearman Doherty/ bw-j
Costa Oniangue Saiss Cavilerio
Bodvarsson Mason/ Gladon
I personally think with the players we have 4-4-2 is the best formation.

17.) 04 Sep 2016 08:17:59
Lol at people naming as many new players as they can in one 11.

18.) 07 Sep 2016 11:08:39
yeah because there better than we've got let's get them gelled and nail this league.

I've renewed my season ticket, yaaaay.

1.) 06 Jul 2021 13:09:48
Wouldโ€™ve waited a couple of weeks in case Boris changes his mind.

12 Jun 2021 10:52:42
Congratulations to Geoff Thomas on being awarded an MBE. What a sound player he was and has been an amazing ambassador for Wolves since. So much work for charity whilst overcoming cancer. A real gentleman.

1.) 12 Jun 2021 11:34:18
That's brill,
I was thinking of Geoff Thomas the other day when it was posted happy birthday to Carl Ikeme.

Geoff Thomas was playing fantastic for us a top top quality player until he got chopped down think it was Sunderland or Middlesbrough and ended up ending his career.

He has overcome big devastating hurdles in his life and I agree he fully merits his MBE.
Well done Geoff.

2.) 12 Jun 2021 14:34:27
Lee Howey of Sunderland did for Geoff Thomas at Roker and then John de Wolf at Molineux.

3.) 12 Jun 2021 14:57:12
Nice one statto.

25 May 2021 14:15:40
So many โ€˜well informedโ€™, โ€˜a source saidโ€™, I understand that โ€ฆ. โ€™ people in the know around the club, itโ€™s a wonder how they all missed Nuno leaving. (Twitter comment - very true) ๐Ÿ™„.

25 May 2021 13:58:51
Congratulations Conor Coady being named in the provisional squad.
Funny old game this is.

1.) 25 May 2021 16:13:10
Conor is a tad lucky to be named purely for footballing reasons, but he brings very vocal leadership on the field. Years ago Mike Brearley was a very successful cricket captain for England, but he wasn't worth his place as a batsman.

2.) 25 May 2021 17:32:03
Lucky ha, it gives Gareth another system to play him in. Better having two systems, so can use either, depending on opposition.

3.) 25 May 2021 18:35:13
However Coady is as a footballer he is flying the Wolverhampton flag for us.
Something positive after the shock of nuno leaving.
Coady played a blinder agaisnt Tottenham with southgate watching in the stand can only do his hopes of making the squad proper.

07 May 2021 08:42:39
Can anyone tell me what the name of the trumpet fanfare is which is played when the players emerge from the tunnel at Molineux?
I've been looking for a new ringtone.
Thankyou all.

1.) 07 May 2021 11:23:20
I think its fanfare for the common man Emerson Lake and Palmer.

2.) 07 May 2021 11:31:37
Oh you are a star! Thanks so much Arddunby.

3.) 07 May 2021 12:37:49
It is indeed Arddunby and can be found on that popular video site that starts with y.

4.) 07 May 2021 13:56:32
Thank you both, duly found, downloaded and installed as my new ringtone ๐Ÿ˜€.

5.) 07 May 2021 15:00:29

Fingers crossed you're right giants, but I tend now to avoid the opinion, ITK, and would be great. Of course they are all clickbait and I know it's taken me a while but I've got there in the end. I only take notice when the reports come from someone sitting in a tree outside Compton!

Yes I just read that in Nuno's interview.
I'm pleased for Cutrone, I was beginning to feel sorry for the lad - backwards and forwards like a fiddlers elbow.

There is a picture on Jota's Twitter page of his ankle. Very swollen and cut. Don't know what the medical verdict is but I would guess he'll be out for at least a couple of weeks.
Wishing him well, he's been a key player for us.

Fantastic news about Eriksson! I must admit I thought it was all over when I saw the CPR but they did it. Amazing because the odds of CPR actually working are surprisingly low.
I'm delighted for him, his family and teammates ๐Ÿ™.

I also support all of the home countries Phil but for the life of me I cannot understand the antagonism of the Scots against the English. I know about the battle 300 years ago but- really?
