Welcome Daniel Podence. Hallelujah at last, I was getting sick of reading the on and off reports for the last few weeks.
Sounds like an excellent prospect, another speed machine on the opposite wing.
Looking forward to seeing him play soon.

1.) 30 Jan 2020 15:15:52
Excellent news, just hope we can get a defender over the line, Xmas come early then .

2.) 30 Jan 2020 15:20:59
Must make SQ (Silly Quotes?) feel a bit worse than silly given the drivel that has been spouting forth about it not happening.

3.) 30 Jan 2020 15:51:05
And don't forget the others who said it wasn't going to happen - 1 even said in capital letters that we were signing nobody.

4.) 30 Jan 2020 16:19:09
And the ones who mentioned about the fictitious 30m transfer fund.

5.) 30 Jan 2020 18:00:56
Fair play Nune ES. We didn't need VAR to spot your clear and obvious error, written in large capital letters to make your point! At least you admit it. Good lad. What interests me though is why you were so sure? Was it fake fans like SQ influencing you? The media were all over the place but journos like Tim Nash are more reliable guides.

6.) 30 Jan 2020 19:51:59
That's the number one ot the letter I Deep Throat, I was referring to a poster called the wolf or something like that who claimed it was not happening.

17 Jul 2017 06:56:40
Kenneth Omeruo not coming to Wolves according to his facebook page.

1.) 17 Jul 2017 10:39:54
Not to bothered about this news and I am sure that once the lads are back from tour there will be more comings and goings.

2.) 17 Jul 2017 13:02:49
No suprise to see Jack Price doing well in a passing side.

3.) 17 Jul 2017 13:45:08
Ike Ugbo has gone to Barnsley.

4.) 17 Jul 2017 13:47:47
Assombalonga has gone to Boro. Probably score the winner against Wolves on the opening day of the season.

5.) 17 Jul 2017 13:57:58
A Boro fan will likely say the same about Negrado.

6.) 17 Jul 2017 14:27:38
Just because we didn't sign him?! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ maybe we never wanted to sign him. maybe you're all took in by paper talk.
Do we say this for every player who scores against us? "We should have signed him"

We will obviously sign at least 1 striker.
Calm down.

03 Sep 2016 07:58:02
So Mike Williamson probably out until 2017! Good job we've now got plenty of cover.
Should get rid now and cut our losses. Not sure anyone will buy him though, retirement more likely. Sorry Mike.

goo.gl/0yve5n

1.) 03 Sep 2016 09:10:12
He would have been back this season had it been done sooner. It would be a nice story if he came back and propelled us to promotion, tho.

2.) 03 Sep 2016 09:15:55
Team for Burton. Ikeme Doc Baath Stearman Borthwick Jackson Tex Saiss Prince Costa Big Dadi Cavaleiro. Mighty Wolves 5 Burton 0πŸ‘.

3.) 03 Sep 2016 09:37:29
He's out of contract end of the season so either way we would have to pay him up so might as well keep him just in case he actually does get fit.

4.) 03 Sep 2016 10:47:25
What a waste of 200.000 a lot of money in our world.

5.) 03 Sep 2016 11:04:44
We're paying Mike Williamson's wages till the end of the season anyway. Who knows, he might come back for a final promotion push in February/ March? There may be alternative scenarios, like, we could pay off his contract now but it must be in both party's interests to wait and see.

6.) 03 Sep 2016 11:27:47
Spearman is now looking more and more like a shrewd bit of business. What ere the 'footballing reasons' for shunting him to Fulham in the first place? Perhaps Moxey saying to Jackett that if he wanted to hold on to Afobe he had to recoup some money. Then Afobe goes in January and we get Williamson to shore up the defence which we needed because we couldn't score. Total mess but at least we haven't been left with a bomb squad.

7.) 03 Sep 2016 11:48:31
Paul that team has have me the shivers, God knows what burton are thinking!

8.) 03 Sep 2016 12:25:52
That team put out regularly will put an extra 5 k on the gate! And hopefully keep us in play offs at least! Forget Saville Evans coady and although I like him Price, and Edwards and Hause. Walt must be brave and go with that team! Remember it's Burton were playin not Bayern πŸ‘.

9.) 03 Sep 2016 12:54:10
We do have to be cautious of Burton they have had a couple of promising results and scrap for their lives. That being said if we can batter them I think this will send a message to the rest of the division.

10.) 03 Sep 2016 13:35:41
Look down that little lot and find a CH;

goo.gl/Yb2OHN

11.) 03 Sep 2016 15:55:04
Pauls team for Burton Albion would also be my team. Supported by substitutes that must include Coady, Mason and Iorfa. Coady and Mason have both played very well and don't deserve to be dropped but you can only play 11.This is a great problem to have and it begs the question about Dicko when he is ready.

12.) 03 Sep 2016 18:21:31
Coady and Mason why would you drop them they have been playing well it's Edwards, Saville, Iorfa and Price who played badly at Huddersfield and will be lucky to get to play next match in my opinion on that performance.
The midfield was non existent last game 1st half, second half was a lot better when Zenga sorted the midfield out and I think we were very unlucky to not come away with at least a point if not two, but to me the damage was done first half.

13.) 03 Sep 2016 19:41:06
We haven't even seen Silivio yet and he's supposed to be dynamite when he's fit.

14.) 03 Sep 2016 20:00:04
We have some good players but we haven't seen them play yet there will likely be one or two that really aren't as good as we hope and knowing our luck one or two will be injured most of the season I think we will start with about 50/ 50 old and new players.

15.) 03 Sep 2016 21:29:03
Team v Burton:

Ikeme
Doherty Batth Stearman Borthwick-Jackson
Oniangue Saiss Teixiera
Cavaleiro Bodvarsson John

Subs: Lonergan, Iorfa, Hause, Coady, Costa, Dicko, Gladon

Back-up; Silvio, Price, Wallace, Mason

Just my opinion obviously.

16.) 04 Sep 2016 01:11:28
My team v Burton:
Ikeme
Iorfa Batth Stearman Doherty/ bw-j
Costa Oniangue Saiss Cavilerio
Bodvarsson Mason/ Gladon
I personally think with the players we have 4-4-2 is the best formation.

17.) 04 Sep 2016 08:17:59
Lol at people naming as many new players as they can in one 11.

18.) 07 Sep 2016 11:08:39
yeah because there better than we've got let's get them gelled and nail this league.

Don't know if you've all talked about this already (forgive me if you have) but how do you all feel about keeping Rafa Mir at the end of his loan spell. Seems to me we have a ready made striker on our books who has thrived out on loan and grown into a much more reliable striker. I would suggest keeping Jose and Mir as good options behind Raul.

1.) 13 Mar 2021 18:48:09
Think Mir deserves a chance; can't be any worse than the two vying for that position now. Think we're stuck with Fabio because you'd never see a return on that outlay anytime soon-- if ever-& show Jose the door.

2.) 14 Mar 2021 13:21:21
Incidentally, I think one LΓ©o Bonatini is still a Wolves player and on loan from 2018!

3.) 14 Mar 2021 19:23:00
Agree Belfast. Mir may well have found his feet but he's not been great, to put it mildly, when in England. But yes, worth a try and show Jose the door.

4.) 14 Mar 2021 23:29:21
I've watched a few Huesca matches this season for lack of anything else to do and I think Mir deserves another go. He's more mobile than Jose holds the ball well, has a powerful shot and is a good headed of the ball. As a support striker from the bench he's better than what we have. Not that that is much of a recommendation tbh.

Amazing gesture by Nuno donating Β£250k to 'Feed our Pack'.
How lucky are we to have such a generous human being as manager of our beloved club?

1.) 29 Jan 2021 14:34:49
I wonder if Nuno could find a few quid to put a roof on the Graham Hughes stand to save fans sitting out in the pouring rain when fans are allowed back to stadiums.

2.) 29 Jan 2021 15:07:50
What a top man.

3.) 29 Jan 2021 15:10:30
NUNO what an inspiration, such generosity to reflect his appreciation of the people of Wolverhampton. Now let's see / hear about it main stream media.
To have this man as our manager is an honour and places all other 'personality' coaches in his shadow.

4.) 29 Jan 2021 19:06:07
Abbey all they care about is the big 6.
Nuno has shown his true colours and his love for everything that is Wolves and the city, I remember reading an interview about his upbringing, he is a man of his word, honest, humble, and most of all the leader of our pack.
He has and always will have my backing good and bad, what he had done for the City and Wolves is huge, you can thank Fosun also, but without the Nuno link pin it will never be as good.
Since moving home from Aus I have has the pleasure of a trip to Wembley, a sustained and deserved place in the best league in the world, a European trip, this is what we have dreamed of as kids growing up in the 80s in the old forth division, I hope we can get back to games in the near future and support the team and Nuno, its what they deserve, plus is good session on the boat and train for a matchπŸ˜€.

5.) 30 Jan 2021 05:37:30
As of same generation Sydney I concur,

6.) 30 Jan 2021 13:06:17
Marcus Rashford, quite rightly, has had accolades for his good work. However, not a peep from national media regarding Nunos' generosity! FWAW.

24 Jan 2021 12:45:42
Just wondering when Jose arrived in the UK. Because he would have to isolate for 10 days and I'm wondering what his first match could be. Seems Palace and Chelsea would be too soon.

1.) 24 Jan 2021 15:36:48
Yes looks most probably what you say Niknaklady.
All being well and going to plan jose debut for us will be well worth the wait.

2.) 25 Jan 2021 07:27:43
Just answering my own question - the Mirror is saying he's not in the country yet. Apparently he's waiting for a work permit and international clearance.
So - goodness knows when he will play his first match for us but sounds the real deal so let's wait.

3.) 25 Jan 2021 17:21:59
If you haven't already Niknak on rumours page the answer to your question. πŸ‘.

11 Dec 2020 07:17:24
Woke up to see lovely picture of Raul getting a hug from Nuno πŸ€—
Hopefully a huge fillip for the team seeing him at the training ground. Certainly warmed the cockles of my heart!
Just what the team needed before the match tomorrow.

1.) 11 Dec 2020 08:52:47
Yes I saw it too brilliant πŸ˜ƒ.

2.) 11 Dec 2020 10:13:23
Wonderful to see Raul looking so well. Hope the boys put in a performance tomorrow. FWAW.

3.) 11 Dec 2020 15:00:09
Also great to see jonny otto back in training
COYW.

4.) 11 Dec 2020 17:03:25
Yep fantastic to see raul back and smiling it can only be an uplift for the lads and after the shock of it all, hearing seeing and worry, then the constant questioning before, (and during), the Liverpool game I think the pack will be more on their game again tomorrow. The superb banner will also be the incentive to win for 'jim'. I can only foresee a wolves win and go 3-1. COYW and continued best wishes and speedy recovery to Raul.

5.) 11 Dec 2020 22:26:54
A bit of good news, a great incentive for the team.

26 Sep 2020 18:05:30
Dear Lord! You give Chelski one job and they let everyone down.

1.) 26 Sep 2020 18:20:04
Can't believe what I have seen this afternoon. crazy! Still no draws either.

2.) 26 Sep 2020 18:45:49
I think Lampard has left the ground to get to the airport to stop Rudiger flying away!

3.) 26 Sep 2020 19:36:57
THERE IS A GOD HA HA HA UTW.

4.) 26 Sep 2020 20:04:19
Well you got your draw Nigel! Handball doesn't count sometimes. The handball law/ rule/ car. Needs sorted it's become an embarrassing situation in every game.

5.) 26 Sep 2020 20:56:57
Pink strips handball rule what next in football?

6.) 26 Sep 2020 22:00:32
Always been impressed by Callum Robinson, could be useful for us off the bench! According to Sky, the boggies had a Β£20m budget for this window. SPENT. They've bought Ivanovic (aged 52), looking at Adebayor (48)? As far as we're concerned, Mario Gotze is a free agent, still only 28! Also, Jack Wilshire, same age, pay as you play? COYW .

7.) 27 Sep 2020 13:32:22
100 minute games?

8.) 27 Sep 2020 16:37:38
Yet another joke penalty! Have to start having pockets in players shorts and play with hands in. At least Hamilton's penalty didn't result in a win!

Yes I just read that in Nuno's interview.
I'm pleased for Cutrone, I was beginning to feel sorry for the lad - backwards and forwards like a fiddlers elbow.

There is a picture on Jota's Twitter page of his ankle. Very swollen and cut. Don't know what the medical verdict is but I would guess he'll be out for at least a couple of weeks.
Wishing him well, he's been a key player for us.

I'm pleased with this piece of business as it's a short term fix. Afobe's attitude when he left stunk. But hey maybe he's grown up a bit and can do a job for us. If it works out great, if not he goes back. Either way Nuno won't put up with a load of nonsense.

Great news Wolves intend making Jota permanent in the summer - however - has Jota himself agreed the move? I haven't read anywhere that he has agreed to making the move permanent. As I understand it Wolves have just stated their intention to make it permanent.
Really don't want to put a dampener on all this joy - I'm delighted Wolves want him.
Just would be nice to get a statement from Diogo himself to make it clear.
