Apparently we have agreed personal terms with Fer Lopez, just watched him on YouTube, he looks exciting and will get people up off their seats

Domenico Teti new Technial Director, what’s going to happen to Hobbs?

Man O War 4

Hobbs has gone mate.

Seen on the net Atletico may come calling to get Cunha back, starting bid £70 million

Man O War 4

1.) 19 Dec 2024 21:40:29
If anyone offers anything near 70 million I can assure you Cunha will be gone. No sentiment with Fosun its all about profit. Just hope they loosen the purse strings with the new coach, otherwise nothing will change.

2.) 20 Dec 2024 08:34:31
Take the money and reinvest for next season.

3.) 20 Dec 2024 12:22:37
I'm unsure Cunhas head is in the right place at the moment. He seemed to have a good working relationship with GON, that's obviously gone now. If Vitor can get more out of him great but if his valuation has peaked it may be best to sell. That said we aren't going to find a cheap creative player that no one else is aware of!

4.) 20 Dec 2024 12:37:08
Mikebayleaf : First 3 words, spot on, next 5 words, wishful thinking, might be a good time to invest in the Stadium while around 10, 000 will be taking a break next season, that won’t happen either.

When the transfer window opens it’s all speculation, Wolves never give anything away in terms of incoming players

Remember when Wolves wanted VAR scrapped as it is useless? Villa were one of the clubs who wanted to keep it. Now it has cost them it’s not fit for purpose

Man O War 4

1.) 26 May 2025 17:45:36
19-1 tough s#!t

2.) 26 May 2025 17:45:58
Near the end of the 2019-20 season Sheffield United scored a goal which clearly crossed the Villa goal line but the refs watch gizmo didn’t alert him due to a failure of the technology. The game finished 0-0 and Villa got an undeserved point. They then stayed up that season by one point with a worse goal difference than the team below them.
Apparently VAR couldn’t intervene because a goal hadn’t been given.
I don’t remember Villa complaining about that incident or suggesting that VAR wasn’t fit for purpose. Perhaps someone should remind them.
Anyway I’m off to A&E now to get my split sides stitched up.

3.) 26 May 2025 17:48:25
It wasn’t VAR though. It was the fact the ref blew his whistle before they scored and so it could not be reviewed by VAR

4.) 26 May 2025 19:50:10
It has absolutely nothing to do with VAR (sadly:), and the week before everyone bemoaned the ref for not blowing earlier in the Forest game, they are damned either way! Also it's one goal, the fact it's the last game 'should' be irrelevant! The league don't lie and they missed out on Champs League, unfortunate for them but that really is all there is to it! Legal action is frankly petulant and I suspect won't even get off the ground! ??

5.) 27 May 2025 06:25:49
Spit on bully's, also of course martinez getting himself sent off played no part in their defeat did it?.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair that was a reason to criticise VAR. The ball was going away from goal and there were defenders getting back, so should have been a yellow. But it was idiotic by that gimp Martinez, and I do enjoy seeing that prick get sent off. Apart from being ridiculously overrated, he is a thoroughly dislikeable player.}

6.) 27 May 2025 11:56:03
Martinez's vulgar and suggestive antics on the pitch after winning the World Cup in 2022 qualified him as a cringeworthy obscenity. And in Qatar of all places! Role model he's not. An embarrassment. If he was available to sign for Wolves there would rightly be uproar.

7.) 27 May 2025 21:43:16
He's already played for us, of course, Deep.

16 May 2025 07:33:01
Man Utd are close to an agreement with Cunha, how can this be the season hasn’t ended. And what if they refuse the the release fee and try to lower price?

Man O War 4

1.) 16 May 2025 13:39:18
They can agree terms with Cunha via his agent and the fee with the club but the deal can't be completed until the transfer window opens.

To be honest, I hope he signs a pre contract guaranteeing that he signs but Man Utd lose the Europa League Final and ends up joining a club going nowhere fast.

2.) 16 May 2025 14:59:31
I'm tired of the Cunha saga tbh, sooner he is gone the better.

3.) 16 May 2025 15:57:48
Hi WS, if your scenario was to come true. I wonder if he'd play against Brentford at home. I can hear it now. Champions league you're have a laugh repeated over and over.

4.) 16 May 2025 16:09:12
I agree, shame as a fantastic player, at times seems like he is just going through the motions and is elsewhere. Not sure it is worth playing him if he is not interested, give others a chance, of course if VP can get him motivated he may produce magic and win us the remaining 2 games, only Cunha and VP know. Be funny if Man U is agreed and Spuds beat them in the final, happy if his fee increases as well, was hoping other clubs submit offers.

5.) 16 May 2025 18:41:55
As long as the funds are used to bring in 2 players who want to be here and give us options, he can go. Thank you for your service but if you don't want to be here, just F off.

6.) 17 May 2025 07:50:22
Well bothe the spurs and man u results went form us last night league position wise. Both teams were less than impressive, maybe expectedly so, but the final on Tuesday will be interesting.
See Radcliffe as lost millions against his investment in utd, will they still risk the money on Cunha if they don't win?
As far as our matches I'd be tempted to leave him out, it's hard after the goals he's brought us but he'll not be a 'wolf' next season and others could be blooded in. A farewell cameo at the end v Brentford could be given, a last match appearance that was denied Raul. Then, if it was OK to be that disrespectful to jiminez why be any more generous for Cunha who behavior cost us and shaned us against Bournemouth

7.) 17 May 2025 07:54:05
I agree WS any player that does not want to be here should leave. Will be an interesting summer of transfers, if we trade well could be a fantastic season next year, be nice to climb the table with no dramas or chance of relegation.

8.) 17 May 2025 09:06:20
My concern Banksy is that it could all go very t*ts up, a lot of honesty and loyalty could be tested, not least with VP should a lucrative job become available just up the M6.

9.) 17 May 2025 12:43:07
Soon as I posted I started to think, it not Wolves to have no dramas, as you mentioned Abbeywolf, they may look at changing managers if they lose to Spuds. I hadn’t even thought that VP would be a candidate, surely Man U have loftier ambitions, they think they are very special always.

10.) 18 May 2025 01:53:25
Coaches do that to players all the time. So it's fair that the players can reciprocate.
Should be done a little more behind the scenes but I have no problem with a player leaving if the money is better. I don't like it as a fan of the team but.

I thought we bought Munetsi as a midfielder not a striker

Man O War 4

1.) 26 Feb 2025 07:31:15
He was but no fit strikers.

2.) 26 Feb 2025 09:12:24
He looked lost. Pity he wasn’t in the midfield area as no one else was! The amount of space Fulham had was shocking.

Apart from one trick, Ait Nouri was a lightweight and gave away so much.

The upfront changes made second half meant we were getting in each others way and Cunha (our best chance of a goal) became stifled ?

Obviously we didn’t have the ref as our 12th man at this game (according to Bournemouth fans!)

3.) 26 Feb 2025 12:42:50
The ref wasn't particularly 'kind' to us first half Bos, Diop should have been booked for his constant wrestling of cunha and that may of given cunha a freer movement for the rest of the game, instead he drifted left away from the target. I was abit baffled by VP's changes and leaving marshall on astonished me, he hadn't done a thing all night of use. Ah well, fa cup Saturday if we can be asked, and then we've got to really lift ourselves for the next 4 games. I wonder if they've got it in them?

I actually think we play at better without him, Cunha is a good player however he believes his own hype and that will ruin him

I agree BlackfordsWolf1, we always seem to buy midfielders and wingers. We need at least one top class centre back
