Whens that window open. so the rubbish can go . and the real players come in. let's just hope confused Lambert can find his best team by the 1st game of next season. i thought getting on the top half of the league was our aim. obviously not. let's just give up and us fans can keep paying to watch the next experiment.

I was reading an article on Peter knowles a couple of weeks ago and my memory took me back to the beginning of the 1969 season we had the doog Hugh curran jimmy mccalliog who we had signed in the summer and of course Peter knowles we won our first 4 games and then the fifth game was against Man Utd which we drew 0-0 in front of 50,000 at the mol the next game was against Notts forest that was knowles last game we were 3-0 up but let it slip and drew 3-3 he then joined Jehovah's Witness we fell away after that I can't remember where we finished in the league if knowles had stayed he would hav been selected for the 1970 World Cup squad does any of the older wol supporters remember that.
2.) 23 Apr 2017 10:56:58
I saw him in 1963 against Man. U.
A precocious talent. We won, but the highlight was him tormenting the
great Man. U, even finding the time to sit on the ball when in possession on one occasion!
Had the potential to be as big as Best, shame.

Harlowwolf I remember, he was my all time wolves heroe what a player, can remember when we played Coventry when Jimmy Hill took Coventry up to Division 1 then for first time, and it was at there place and Knowles sat on the ball waiting for the attack to catch him up, what a player sadly missed and I also think he would of played for England always money well spent just to see him play, what would he be worth today.
20 Apr 2017 22:33:35
Costa is not injured fact. I've sensed that since day 1. we're safe now. there's probs a big deal on place. and they don't want him to get injured. wolves have hardly gone into detail bout the injury.
1.) 21 Apr 2017 07:37:41
It's "fact" because you sensed it?
2.) 21 Apr 2017 11:23:26
Not another 'fact'. A fact you sensed that is probs true. If I invoked my inner Trump it sounds like totally, totally fake news.
3.) 21 Apr 2017 11:45:13
Oh my word a light bulb moment Wednesfield.
4.) 21 Apr 2017 11:47:03
The only thing I can sense is that he's got an injury lol.
5.) 22 Apr 2017 08:03:46
It is fun speculating, but Lambert working closely with Shi will keep their own Council for a little while yet.
I am optimistic we will see some exciting additions to the squad during the summer.
At risk of being shot down, I believe going forward, Mendes will be a real asset in bringing in Lambert-identified players.
Getting shot of the dross signed in the last 2/ 3 seasons will be the challenge, who is going to want most of them?!
6.) 22 Apr 2017 17:28:34
League 1 would b ideal for them.
08 Apr 2017 21:18:38
If we would of had afobe from the start of season along with a cm that season we would of gone up fact. we do not need wingers we have the best in the league. we need 2 out and out strikers 2 all round out and out midfielders a left back and a phil jagielka at cb and drop Ikeme.
1.) 08 Apr 2017 22:27:55
No point going on about Afobe. We didn't want to sell him, he wanted to leave.
2.) 08 Apr 2017 23:05:24
Wednesfield, drop Kemes, and play who in goal?
Lonergan is not up to the job in all fairness, Borgoyne is still a young lad who's learning his trade.
At the moment, Ikeme is the best, by far, goalie we have.
3.) 09 Apr 2017 09:03:02
Look at Fulham since they bought Kmac. Wolves would have been in that position had they kept Sako, Afobe and Kmac. I would quite happily have all three back.
4.) 09 Apr 2017 14:15:01
Disagree, would rather not have Sako, costa in my opinion is better. Afobe, was going to go anyway, what we need is the front partner for dicko.
5.) 09 Apr 2017 16:33:31
So you're basically saying you want Sako back then lol.
6.) 09 Apr 2017 16:36:44
On a different note, Wolves are back in for Talisca. If the Turks receive 21 euros, he can go. Wouldn't be surprised at this at all if he can't get a Premiership work permit again.
08 Apr 2017 12:26:51
Shi interview is positive. but I seem to remember a similar one in the summer. let's carry on doing the talking on the pitch. i'm sure lambert will bring in the quality needed. if costa gos he gos. re invest the 30m he is worth in new players. Remember raheem sterling cost 50m with no end product. ok premier league and the championship are different leagues but what costa has done he would have done to any player. if we sell for 20m we have been done over.
04 Apr 2017 23:24:26
Zyro and grahem to come yet. I'm like a kid ay xmas waiting for the window to open. can see lambert bringing in well known quality. a pre season got dicko well be up there.
1.) 05 Apr 2017 09:33:27
Compared to 12 months ago the future has been transformed. Fosun may have messed up in early season but they are on track now. They will expect promotion next season. The nucleus of a decent team is in place. We need to clear the deadwood and make a few shrewd signings. Lambert is up to the job.
2.) 05 Apr 2017 10:40:31
A win on Saturday and we can really just think about next Season!
Probably just about there anyway, but great to have a sizable period of time to sort out the 1st team squad.
Apart from Lambert upping the quality in the Squad, I really hope Fosun have a plan to transform the rest of the Footballing Structure.
To lead that, we need someone who can create a Premiership strategy and just as importantly, deliver it to support Lambert!
22 Apr 2017 17:19:58
First time I've said it but Lambert needs to go.
1.) 22 Apr 2017 17:55:56
Wednesfield, I agree with you. If Lambert is still manager at the start of next season (as I believe he will be I'm afraid) then the end result will simply be yet another wasted season. Fosun/ Jeff PLEASE get us a manager who will give us a team that excites us! Wolves fans: when could we honestly last say that the football at Molineux is regularly good to watch and that we have a group of players that can attack and scare other teams? John Barnwell's time (for a while anyway)?
2.) 22 Apr 2017 17:58:42
Nothing been said either way yet. But today was piss poor, it's been a dire season and Lambert has been there long enough to shoulder a lot of the blame. You know my opinion on Lambert so I won't bore you with going over it again.
3.) 22 Apr 2017 20:07:04
I had more fun counting the lights in the South Bank.
4.) 23 Apr 2017 00:38:44
Paul Lambert averages 1.48 points per game. Over a 46 game season thus would give us 68 points. This would not be good enough to reach the play offs but would be a too half finish. Instead of getting rid of Lambert, he has already stated that the team needs strengthening so let's give him the summer window to get the players who will improve the team. As Fosun said, this will not be a quick fix.
17 Apr 2017 18:48:11
You don't have to play fifa for fans to point out players that we need to make our a club a top 3 club. sako being a realistic target. along with Abraham. some fans still live in the moxey era. players like Sako are below the types of players we can actually afford. or do we still want the Freddy Eastwoods from the lower leagues?
06 Apr 2017 11:12:30
judge lambert after the next window.
19 Mar 2017 11:51:07
What do fans think of tammy Abraham, charlie austin, jagielka, george freind as signings?
1.) 19 Mar 2017 13:14:14
Tammy Abraham everything for me.
2.) 19 Mar 2017 17:28:08
Tammy scores lots of goals I am sure he won't be at Bristol City next season.
3.) 19 Mar 2017 17:10:37
Austin - dream on i think tbh
But the rest yes.
4.) 19 Mar 2017 23:31:30
Don't Chelsea own Abraham? Might be able get him on loan for season.
5.) 20 Mar 2017 10:07:20
Chelsea has something like 40 players out on loan so it would be no surprise.
17 Mar 2017 17:31:42
Surely lambert knows his best team now Ikeme, iorfa, Williamson, hause ,doherty Edwards, Evans, cavaleiro, costa, marshall, bodvarsson.
1.) 17 Mar 2017 18:35:12
That's a good line up but Marshall is doubtful for tomorrow.
2.) 17 Mar 2017 18:52:37
Where did you see that Billy?
3.) 17 Mar 2017 18:58:16
Found it Billy.
4.) 18 Mar 2017 15:56:28
Weimann to e second name on the team sheet after Costa but before Cav and then Marshall. Best forward line since the magic trio. But better cover with Dicko and Bod.
03 Apr 2017 22:56:11
Who said the papers doubt we would go through all that to make 7m.
29 Jan 2017 15:13:10
And me batth is a standard championship defender we need a top defender for next season. Edwards must be captain. Hanley reminds me of paul butler lol
15 Jan 2017 18:06:30
Wheres that come from?
12 Jan 2017 19:59:51
Huh he wasn't good enough or wolves staff made a mistake? he's scoring goals for fun. you can't be to proud mate when your struggling at the bottom half of the league.
12 Jan 2017 19:52:02
No doubt he will carry on scoring. to slow once again unless he not good enough. but with our budget would of been a good signing as he does what he's paid to do.
30 Mar 2017 13:40:34
Kyle lafferty lol he's worse than gladon.
28 Mar 2017 10:59:35
How many of them clubs are more rich . money talks. and money buys better players.
14 Mar 2017 17:52:58
Dicko and bod time? don't you think they have had enough? bod scored once we don't the clap he ain't scored since and that was 1st game of season. bored of my own thinking the same rubbish different season.
11 Mar 2017 18:04:54
Which out and out striker? didn't think we had one. oh sorry you mean the two who have 3 goals in 100 games.
19 Feb 2017 18:14:42
Sorry but the story of coady is win the ball and pass it straight back to the other side. or jack price plays a 50 yard beautiful pass and miss control it. nice lad but he is league 1.
