Villa fans really do think their club is the biggest in the West Midlands. I heard a strange fact yesterday that is actually true: In the last 100 years, Wolves have won the top League more times than Villa, Baggies and Birmingham combined. Wolves have won 3, Villa 1, Baggies 1 and Blues 0.

I think Villa cling to the fact they have a larger ground and have won the European Cup, which to be fair was an excellent achievement. What they fail to look at is the potential we have with our owners to eclipse their whole history. I prefer to live in the present where they are half way down the second tier and we have pundits raving about us in the top league 😀.

I think you are missing the point. Shi has no money, so has to go cheap as his current manager is throwing his toys out the pram. A project is over years and he has spent £70 million already, knowing we spent £100 million in the summer.

In my opinion JLo has acted like a spoilt kid through all this. We all knew we were close to FFP before Jan's spend. He has been very unprofessional from the off. Take his side line antics during games. At least O'Neil would behave correctly and also have a point to prove. I still think the biggest issue we have is slow play. The opposition always have cover back by time we get into shooting positions.

We have to move players on before any come in because of the financial constraints governing us. We may already have incoming players but can't finalise until Collins and Coady deals are done. Always baffling when fans think its so easy to just buy a player.

What worries me is he didn't win a single header in the 45 mins he played against Southampton and looked really slow. I think we need a more mobile striker for the prem, as after a serious knee injury he is likely to be slower.

Would be great to see the ground developed, but if they put in an extra 20,000 seats it's only £17 million in extra ticket sales per year, based on £45 per game. Money is generated away from the gate receipts these days. We need better commercial managers to realise our potential for global growth.

I understand the sentiment for Mouts and Jimenez,but Lope may have had his eye on trying to finish higher than Palace and maybe Chelsea to get extra league payout for transfers. The players have plenty of time after the final whistle to say good bye.
