August 2016 I had a dream. But inside 7 months the dream had disappeared and became a nightmare. 3 managers and a fourth one likely soon. Clueless and rudderless, this side has to go down as one of the worst 3 Wolves teams that I've witnessed in 56 years. Players played out of position, out of form, one striker up front, forever changing personnel. Enough is enough! Bye bye Lambert, Thelwell and Shi. And take the dross with you.
I wanted Silva back in the pre-Lambert days and still do. It's odds on Rowett will go to Derby. So where does that leave us? Oh, back to my dream. Now then, Senor Luis Enrique, your office is this way and the open cheque book is on the desk. Don't I f***** wish.

Wondering what are the worse teams than this one. Deano's team was pretty bad but surely the team that lost to Chorley must take the biscuit? (And I know it was the start of the Bully era)

Gee Wolf, you are a happy soul. Lose 3-0 eh.

Back at Molineux after a 1-1 draw

Hi guys, Let's hope that the points keep coming in starting with Boxing Day v Bristol City.
I won't be able to attend as my fiance flew in from Minsk yesterday and we're spending her first ever western Xmas at home here in Cheltenham. But we'll both be there for the QPR clash. I love my Wolves FC and Wigan Warriors BUT Tanya has to come first. Sorry lads. Hey, we both want to wish our fellow Wolfies A VERY MERRY XMAS AND THE BEST YEAR POSSIBLE IN 2017. Believe. 2017 will be our year. Get behind Paul, he will deliver! BELIEVE.

H A P P Y C H R I S T M A S!

So Kevin Thelwell has come out and said that Helder Costa is unlikely to stay beyond this season unless we are in the Premier League next year.
Try a little persuasion, KT. Don't let this lad go. We can afford him so money is not a problem. Suggest building a promotion winning team around him, bonuses' to get in the Premiership by May 2018. But whatever you do, this kid should not be allowed to walk away from Molineux.
This IS one player we must keep!

You'd do well to find any Wolves fan who would argue with that. Here's hoping!

2.) 22 Dec 2016 09:31:24
So keven Thelwell comes out with a load of crap that any Wolves fan already nows that Held a Costa won't stay unless we are in premier, well if he had done is job right and recruited the right players instead of all the rubbish he is part of sighning then who nows, we could of been challenging for promotion instead of relegation.
We are a long way off promotion in my opinion and we should start again in January to sort it out, when is it going to end.

Where there is a will there is a way!
It all depends on the player and his representatives.
If Mendes was involved in bringing him here then you would think there would be some leverage. If he was offered a deal with trigger clauses in it (if a Prem team comes in over £10m for instance, or if we are relegated, or if one of our strikers scores a hat-trick), then he would be secure in the knowledge that 1. he will be getting first team football, 2. he is actually valued, 3. he has opt-outs for the future.
Come on Wolves, do some negotiating!

Hey PT, that is a strike force I'd like to see. Costa, Abrahams, Assambalonga and Graham. With Hart in goal and JT commanding at the back, I'm rushing to my bookie now.

I agree Wolves011. We should not be going back for old players. Eyes forward for new blood. Please no more talk of Sako, Mancienne, Afobe etc.

No doubts. Lambert is the man to take us back up.
Give him a full summer with the lads. Remember, neither Zenga nor PL have had time with the players. PL knows who he wants to keep, let go and sign.
He'll see us ok til May. Give him the summer to implicate his ideas and then. only then, if it's not working by the January window say it's time for him to go. Trust in the guy. Better him than Brucie or Rowett.

Couldn't agree more. Old players like your old birds - you never go back, don't want any of them back - players or women. Fresh legs, I say 😎.

And please NO McCormack or Gestede. They are worse than what we already have.

If we fail to win either of our next two games my 14/ 1 slip will begin to look even more generous. After Rotherham, I can't see another winning opportunity.
