Bigus Dickus.

2.) 06 Jan 2019 16:41:10
Heh heh - he could be the new Messiah.

3.) 08 Jan 2019 08:27:25
No he's just a naughty boy - sorry couldn't help myself.

Remember when Nuno took over if you had said to me that the only three regular home grown players the following season would be a midfielder on his way out, a free transfer from Norwich and a wing back who can't get into the Irish team I would have called you crazy.

But Coady, Bennett and Doc have shown that under Nuno you don't have to be a big name you just have to work hard and not make mistakes while sticking to his plan. If you can't keep up like Batth then you don't get to play.

1.) 01 Jan 2019 09:47:29
Proves what a great coach he really is.

2.) 01 Jan 2019 17:48:22
Yes Nuno knows what he wants and it works.

24 Sep 2018 21:51:06
I have been looking at relegation odds Wolves are 40/1 which might sound mean but actually that puts us 7th with only the top 6 usual suspects longer odds Everton Leicester Newcastle Palace all shorter the clever money thinks we're staying up.

WindowWolf

1.) 25 Sep 2018 13:59:25
We are equal 7th (with Watford) to win the league. But it's 500/ 1 so don't get too carried away. Bookies giving short odds on us beating Leicester tonight. Let's hope they're right.

Still coming across bits of rumour about Vida and Dendonker either will do both apparently in the UK so expect they will join someone

Rose also in the market Spurs think he's peaked and a good chance to sell but he will be expensive

Guedes leaving PSV but price too high for Wolves.

What do the emerging top players all have.
Pace and dribbling skills
I’m talking about MBappe, Rashford, Sane etc

Pace is the one thing you can’t defend against. Traore will be one of Wolves best signings.

2.) 07 Aug 2018 14:32:13
Last thing heard on Vida was that Wolves were the only team to of tabled an offer albeit below Besiktas's asking price of £20mil, player likely to holding out on Arsenal but they need to offload either Welbeck or Mustafi first to free up a fee.

3.) 07 Aug 2018 17:05:21
If we make a bid for Vida I hope it includes a clause that requires him to have a hair cut!
That Rodney-tail does not shout out 'nasty uncompromising hard tackling defender' to me!

4.) 07 Aug 2018 18:07:23
1877 - would generally agree with your comment about the importance of pace, but having said that Mo Camara was probably the fastest player I've seen at the Mol!

11 Jun 2018 09:24:44
Local papers saying we want Paddy McNair from Sunderland and Baily Peackock-Farrel from Leeds McNair plays central defender and midfield so maybe cover for Coady the Leeds player is a goalie these might be because of the home grown players rule or the reports are tosh.

WindowWolf

1.) 11 Jun 2018 11:27:51
we don't shop in div 1 no more buddy.

2.) 11 Jun 2018 12:22:55
I cannot see why we would want McNair. Kortney Hause is equally as good as a back up centre half. And frankly the link with the Leeds keeper baffles me - Will Norris anyone?!

3.) 11 Jun 2018 12:38:05
Can’t see the point of us going for either of them. Already have our own young players who should get a shot first, most likely just agent talk. Hope we announce some players before the World Cup starts.

4.) 11 Jun 2018 18:16:59
Hause is left sided defensive centre back, position currently filled by Boly. I see McNair as back up/ completion for Coady, who was brilliant last year but lacks pace. Positional sense is probably a better asset in that spare man role but Prem strike force usually has a fleet footed centre forward or number 10, who likes to run at last defended. Didn’t have to face that threat often last year!

5.) 11 Jun 2018 19:43:36
Danny Batth leaving?

6.) 11 Jun 2018 20:30:24
I hope he's leaving.

7.) 12 Jun 2018 16:33:39
Dappa,
I'm not worried about buying a league one player, as long as he's good enough. Sunderland have only just gone down and were a PL side until May 2017. Some Spurs fans quibbled when they bought Dele Alli from MK Dons for £5mil. They're not quibbling now!

Dare we dream of Champions League football?

WindowWolf

1.) 01 Mar 2020 18:02:00
Chelsea on the last day could become a winner takes all game. Bring it on.

2.) 01 Mar 2020 20:21:04
The last 3 years as a wolves fan has been unbelievable never did I think in my wildest dreams I would of travelled to Barcelona to support them in the europa league let alone they’ve now got us thinking of champions league football absolutely delighted with everyone at the club long may it continue no matter what happens this season again we’ve had surreal experiences and some fantastic results.

{Ed047's Note - you’ve been brilliant mate and a pleasure to watch and I for one would love it if you made the Champions League.

3.) 02 Mar 2020 10:43:57
Nice one Ed 👍.

{Ed047's Note - mate you’ve been great and it would be well deserved.

4.) 02 Mar 2020 14:43:06
Nice comment Ed047. Thank you. I know you're not just being polite. I've heard from a lot of non-Wolves supporters that we are now their second team. Makes a change from the days when non-Wolves supporters just rolled their eyes at the mention of Wolves, or expressed sympathy. Not to mention the kicking we would get from supporters of rival Midlands clubs. We can now hold our heads up proudly.

{Ed047's Note - you’re welcome mate, watched you on and off since the days of Derek Dougan and loved Bully when he was with you.

You’ve got a great manager too.

Oh dear dear Spurs ManU we are still sixth

Only Liverpool lost fewer games than us.

WindowWolf

1.) 23 Dec 2019 11:50:09
Lets stay humble and not get cocky, still a long way to go but we are in an incredible position right now only 5 points of 4th too.

2.) 23 Dec 2019 13:08:07
Bring on Man City!

3.) 23 Dec 2019 15:16:40
Yes I'm getting a bit of vertigo looking at the table. A bit of good fortune for us that 3 of the top 6 are underperforming. But in reality we expect them all plus Leicester to finish above us, leaving us a respectable but useless 8th.

On the other hand Chelsea are in our sights and 4th isn't out of the question.

Sheffield Utd? The surprise package this season.

4.) 23 Dec 2019 15:44:43
Top 20 and I'm happy.

5.) 23 Dec 2019 15:54:46
In theory the revival of Leicester and the emergence of Sheffield U have made even a repeat of last season's seventh place more difficult for us. Both of these teams are above us currently. I don't think Sheffield will stay the present course, but will finish top ten.

I'd love it if Wolves win the Europa League and thus qualify for the Champion's League at the expense of the fourth placed PL team at the end of the season. I think Leicester could be the unlucky 4th placed team.

6.) 23 Dec 2019 16:30:39
Were doing alright to be fair'a bit hit and miss at times but on the whole were there or there about.
We play spurs off the park for large parts of the game and come away with nothing, then fail to turn up for over an hour at Norwich and get the lot'work that one out.
Talk of top 4 is premature'and it looks like others are being discounted already'Wilder has the blades firing on all cylinders and they're a credit to the league'as we've been, so credit where it's due folks'there's a lot of football still to be played Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to everyone. UTW.

7.) 23 Dec 2019 18:25:10
Top 10 I actually meant!

8.) 23 Dec 2019 22:34:46
Yes I thought 20 was a bit unambitious.

I would love to win Europa too. But it's probably easier and more likely to finish top 6 in the PL.

9.) 24 Dec 2019 06:55:03
Can't believe you have just said that but quite right. may have to settle for top 6!

10.) 24 Dec 2019 22:59:23
Either will do!

21 Dec 2019 18:00:13
I have stopped being worried when Wolves go a goal down teams must hate us lol.

WindowWolf

1.) 21 Dec 2019 19:32:16
Would sincerely hope Liverpool aren't too fatigued for our game next week. 😜.

2.) 23 Dec 2019 15:18:21
Yes wouldn't it be great to beat the best team in the world! Nobody has done that yet this season. (No, Villa fans, that doesn't count) .

03 Dec 2019 08:17:48
So it's ManU at home in the cup

It's a tough draw for us but even more for ManU and could cost Ole his job if we win.

WindowWolf

1.) 03 Dec 2019 11:28:57
Man utd will be gutted to have been drawn away to us.
FWAW.

2.) 03 Dec 2019 14:54:18
Ole won't be at Man U by then.

3.) 03 Dec 2019 15:33:48
Either way Man Utd will not be happy being drawn away to a top 6 club ;-)

Cantwell will sign for a bigger team when Norwich go down which is probable and he is one we could loom at as for McGinn I like him and he was good at Hibs but my gut says he has peaked and will be rattling around relegation clubs or Celtic for the next few years.

He was excellent at Arsenal and I don't think other teams would like to play against him so that's a great idea.

Very funny deep throat we don't normally like var although it was good yesterday

I don't care about how true rumours are because nobody knows anyway and this site would be dead if we didn't speculate.

I am sure a full first team would have won last night but as that doesn't matter there is no point having a discussion about it

Olimpiakos will be harder unbeaten in their league which ok isn't Liverpool but they know how to win good we avoided Sevilla Roma Leverkusen etc though but Rangers or Copenhagen would be better.
