Anybody know about the reported interest in anichebe?

1.) 11 Jul 2016 15:14:04
God please no.

2.) 11 Jul 2016 15:26:40
No, I'd rather James Wilson but I presume these signings are coming from the new takeover and not the present regime. If they are, this makes little sense.

3.) 11 Jul 2016 15:28:38
Are they advertising for new programme sellers?

Ruddy to start then! I doff my hat to those who said he would. But what of the rest of the team? Surely we all want this? This is our chance to take the greatest trophy in football. Please Nuno I have all trust in you. (Not so much ruddy)

1.) 16 Mar 2019 22:58:50
He did nothing wrong in the match though our defence was so good he didn't really need to do much anyway.

2.) 16 Mar 2019 23:35:28
Ruddy was really good tonight even had awareness to pull his hand out of the way when going for the save and having the awareness to see the ball is going to go wide.

10 Mar 2019 16:38:36
Had to happen didon't it.! Thought the entire club well represented today because you fans who went were fantastic. All played their frustrating roles to perfection and jota jiminez superb together for goal. Dendocker pushed before corner given for Chelsea goal. Bring on Man u and let's make our next London trip to Wembley. Proud to be wolves. Thank you Nuno.

1.) 10 Mar 2019 17:50:52
Well done Wolves and fans, frustrated the life out of a top 6 club with superstars. A great away point.

2.) 10 Mar 2019 22:31:27
I see Sarri is bleating about our tactics. I'm sorry Maurizio, we obviously didn't stick to the convention about teams rolling over and letting the big clubs walk all over us! Mind you, he should have known that after their defeat at Molineux! You're lucky to have got a point in the end!

Mind you, it says so much about where we are as a club now when we have come away from Arsenal, Chelsea and United with a point and feel disappointed that we hadn't won any if not all of those games!

Nuno and the boys are doing us proud and long may it continue.

3.) 11 Mar 2019 06:41:36
Sarri is a manager on borrowed time, he organises his team and if he can't adjust his tactics to pull out and break another's defence it's his problem. Hazards saved his job in injury time. The 'big' 6 have their excuses for losing. Hope ole going to solsummmat is preparing something for the line acres etc next Saturday.

4.) 11 Mar 2019 08:28:28
Credit to us Sarri sounded like a bad loser saying we weren't organised credit to BBC studio Shearer backing Nuno demonstrated we were completely organised and kept our shape and their computer showed it perfectly lol

Ok we lost a late goal but we've done that a few times ourselves so it happens. Nuno puts defending first against big teams especially the first 60 minutes to wear them down if managers think that's not organised then they aren't good managers

Well done Wolves.

Next two games could define our final standing in the premiership . On performance we should be expecting 6 points and cement 7th/ 8th, but Huddersfield away? Then Colins lot (who'll do literally anything to stop us) could trip us up and back down to midtable mediocrity. I hope the lads can win these with class showing. Yes I'm nervous about these games. What's the general feelings?

1.) 24 Feb 2019 15:48:54
Our performances are quite consistent at the moment (we have been bloody brilliant at times - WHU at home) but the results seem to be a bit hit and miss based on such consistency.
We are definitely in a good place but it is 'scrapping time' for those clubs at the bottom. If they can get points before Easter it puts them in a much better position for the run in.
Make no bones about it, THEY will target this game as a 'must win'.
At the same time, if we have European ambitions - how great it is to even think and say that phrase! - these are 'must wind's for us too.
I have a sneaky feeling that we will have learnt from our earlier season mistakes and we will take the game to them and (hopefully) put them away.

2.) 24 Feb 2019 19:43:56
We haven't been beaten for ages but this is Huddersfield and it's the kind of daft thing that happens to Wolves a club probably already relegated doing the double over us

We will stick to our game plan remember we played 3 up front last time we played them now we have 3 in the middle where teams like Huddersfield were overpowering us we have strikers on form too so this time I am more hopeful.

3.) 25 Feb 2019 15:35:37
Yea I have every confidence in Nuno but in the back of the minds is FA cup and Huddersfield and caerydd are needing it more, I hope we don't ease off.

18 Feb 2019 21:48:12
Home . anyway. and if we're going to win the cup we got to beat em at some point. Most probably get city in semis and have a stroll in the final. That's my dream tonight.

1.) 18 Feb 2019 22:10:16
We will make chances against Utd it's makin sure we take them👍 No tinkering Nuno full strength team including Patricio👍 One game from Wembley 🤞.

2.) 18 Feb 2019 22:11:34
Excited and very nervous drawing Utd. Let's hope it's a great game.

3.) 18 Feb 2019 22:35:27
Great draw. Molineux will be rocking. City v Wolves final all along.

4.) 19 Feb 2019 08:32:14
Hardly likely to drop Ruddy, facets of his game are better than Patricio and to keep a player of ruddys quality at the club when he is not first choice will prove impossible if he gets dropped from fa cup team, yes he made an absolute clanger against Shrewsbury but so did Patricio recently.
For me ruddy stays .

5.) 19 Feb 2019 09:56:48
We don't have to fear united

They won't be happy with the draw only City away would be worse for them just like I was dreading Watford or Brighton away but this will be a great match.

6.) 19 Feb 2019 10:16:49
Erm? Wolverhampton are a club. A team a squad, a pack. Players are bought selected and positioned to the benefit of the club at the direction of the coach. Sentiment is an emotional barrier but a good strong respected manager (Nuno) will handle and surmount that. Rui has to be selected over Ruddy on merit. This is the quarter final of the biggest cup in the world, we have the best opportunity in years. Nuno has to play his strongest perceived line up or sentiment could let the entire club squad and us the fans down. We want that Wembley appearance, we want that cup. We must be hungry as the wolf.

7.) 19 Feb 2019 10:32:53
Agree 100% abbywolf 👍If the first eleven isn't selected and we lose then like it or not Nuno has let us fans down. Biggest game of the season so far let's not fail! 👊.

8.) 19 Feb 2019 12:02:15
We shall see!

9.) 19 Feb 2019 21:13:04
Well come on sdav78 what do you want from team? The chance of fa cup glory or a 'they deserve a game' weakened attempt. We've nothing to really play for but pride in prem now so give em a game when we play man u in that fixture if you feel sentimental. The quarter final is surely our aim to win out of the two.

04 Feb 2019 12:57:49
A couple of snippets from the times today Neves the 1st player in English football to score a goal in the minute that is his name backwards, and Helda Costa came on shortly after the cat. Heldas name being an anagram of "old cats here". Made me chuckle anyway.

1.) 04 Feb 2019 14:11:42
Brilliant Abbywolf, but where you from to be reading posh papers?

2.) 04 Feb 2019 21:52:14
Oxford. They're free reading in our coffee houses don't you know.!

3.) 04 Feb 2019 23:15:08
If you call them coffee houses then you are definitely posh.

4.) 05 Feb 2019 07:13:54
That's brilliant abbywolf seems like every match these days has a record broken.

5.) 05 Feb 2019 09:46:06
So our recent wins against Leicester, Everton and West Ham are only due to them playing badly, let's hope Newcastle continue the trend.
Three records up for grabs in this game, Most points in a Premier league season (42), most games won in a season (12) and longest winning run (4 games)

6.) 05 Feb 2019 11:08:02
OGW I was taking 'P*** out my self. Am from Oxfordshire not academic and definately not posh.
Wolves young guns (? ) To lead us another step to Wembley tonight by doing the shrews 4-1. Quite excited as to who Nuno will play. COYW.

To most commentators we are still the 'newly' promoted side excelling themselves, they haven't looked outside the premier 'club' year on year and can't accept the new kid in town. We are an exception to the norm re promoted teams admittedly, but surely they know how big a team we are and will can be. Managers are obviously going to blame their own players especially when their jobs are on the line.!

Interesting piece in the times today, whilst not condoning wolves it asks the question would these moaners be complaining if we were 6 points above relegation with some comparisons to Doncaster and black burns activity with agents in the past with no questions asked. Shut up put up they are simply jealous. Mendes masks to the fore.

Is it right to be excited at 57? I've got a good few years on you billy and I'm like a kid waiting for Xmas. I'll be paying BT a few quid to watch on box though, but I too was there to see Emlyn lift the league cup and remember cloughie applauding us wolves fans, and there when we did city. Great days.

No where near straight forward avoiding man City, it's going to be a right old battle and we'll have to be really on form. It's going to be a dream let's hope it's not a nightmare, not being pessimistic but we have to be realistic and approach it the same as if it was city. I'm sure Nuno wI'll but we must too.

I bow to you sdav78. Good job ruddy wasn't troubled tho.! what a fantastic night everyone a winner in the team jiminez and moutinho stand out. I maintain my dislike of VAR and I think the shambolic episode last night proves. 'The ref can't be trusted' the atmosphere quietened our impetus stunted and silly delay giving linedarse more to talk about instead of how convincing wolves victory was. Bring on Wembley WE ARE WOLVES.

Gee! You're back! Hope your OK, you've been missed. Great to see your prophecies before our biggest game since the last one. Filled with confidence now 3-0 to Nuno's old gold and black. (Subject to team selection) .
