So once again no credit to us from an opposing manager. Marco Silva said he would be first to hold his hands up if we were better team but then goes on to dismiss those comments and say nothing good about us at all! No class. Got to laugh haven't you? Thank god we never brought him in when we nearly did ( and i really wanted him! ) Every team he has managed has started well and then it's all gone a bit rubbish. Serves him right if he gets sacked in the morning. Everton fans are NOT happy!

To most commentators we are still the 'newly' promoted side excelling themselves, they haven't looked outside the premier 'club' year on year and can't accept the new kid in town. We are an exception to the norm re promoted teams admittedly, but surely they know how big a team we are and will can be. Managers are obviously going to blame their own players especially when their jobs are on the line.!

Has anyone else noticed how frequently teams play badly against us? Can none of these reporters see a pattern emerging that might just have another explanation?

I'm looking forward to Wolves gate-crashing the top six. Then all the pundits will say that the other 14 teams must have played badly. I don't care if we never get the credit just as long as we overachieve. Overachieving was a label thrown at Leicester when they won the league, but they still won the league, didn't they? Damned by faint praise? I couldn't give a damn. Bring it on. The top six mafia and their friends in the media want to keep it all to themselves, so all the juicy fixtures for TV are carved in stone year after year. Time for a change lads.

Would be amazing to get into top 6 we need to beat Arsenal and hope they lose to all the other top 6 clubs and we pick up points of course the papers will say Arsenal threw it away.

Perhaps I was dreaming it but I am sure I saw an interview after the match where Marco Silva said we were an excellent team who played very well, much better than them, did all the things he wanted his team to do and deserved to win.
