1.) 22 Oct 2016 18:20:20
Another waste of time! I said it at the start of the season, its the solbaken era all over again.

2.) 22 Oct 2016 19:35:18
Get Big Sam in now. Mendes out.

3.) 22 Oct 2016 22:28:11
Yes same as Solbakken lots of signings but declining results after a good start. Costa the new Sako we just have to hope we do better than Deano if we replace Zenga.

4.) 22 Oct 2016 22:45:36
I don't think mendes actually works for wolves. Its a case of the blind leading the blind. I can't see things changing soon. Let enjoy the bumpy ride! Or then again let's not.

06 Aug 2016 12:15:05
We are linked with Everton striker omar nassie? Twitter link, not sure how true.

1.) 06 Aug 2016 12:41:30
told we are signing Anderson this weekend.

2.) 06 Aug 2016 13:22:19
Take pic lol.

22 Jul 2016 22:01:23
My wife got a text from a friend who works at Molinuex. steve bruce to be announced Monday. hope they're wrong and we get guss hidink.

1.) 22 Jul 2016 22:54:30
Could well be Bruce as Sunderland fans are sayin were linked with Connor Wickham.

2.) 22 Jul 2016 23:32:39
Heard a rumour that mick mcarthy might be coming back.

3.) 23 Jul 2016 00:06:06

4.) 23 Jul 2016 00:41:51
Listen to me lads its glenn hoddle and gazza as assistant.

5.) 23 Jul 2016 01:09:47
OMG please do not let this happen.

6.) 23 Jul 2016 01:20:54
As things stand Fosun, who have links to 'super agent' Jorge Mendes (with him set to be key to Wolves' recruitment), are going to retain Kenny Jackett as Head Coach.

7.) 23 Jul 2016 01:51:23
according to vital wolves site.

8.) 23 Jul 2016 03:58:06
May as well of left morgan as owner. if that's how high they are aiming. steve bruce. laughable. thought these new owners had ambition.3 years they will sell.

9.) 23 Jul 2016 05:55:48
If Bruce comes wolves we going be going for unspectacular targets like Chris woods ( again) for starters I agree with others on here need few players that got idea what championship is about but we got be aiming higher standard than have been and just don't see us doing that with Bruce - yes he spent £ at hull but didn't exactly buy anyone who u could say made big impact or put bums on seats at hull also the guy had no charisma he like brown paper bag - boring- same as Martinez - we need set sights higher not saying a klopp or conte but someone that going excite not just team but fans aswell someone who's first thought is not let's play for a draw at best but let's win games and win games with bit of style
Not sure who this type manager is but please pls let's not settle for typical type manager we bound get linked too - Bruce Martinez ince cutbishley etc etc.

10.) 23 Jul 2016 08:15:54
Moyes going 2 sunderland.

11.) 23 Jul 2016 08:18:05
FFS You guys are hard to please.

With people like you as fans who needs rivals.

12.) 23 Jul 2016 08:41:12
I've heard that Mancini is going to be announced as manager by the end of next week. All being well, this will actually happen and no one will know that I just made it up!

13.) 23 Jul 2016 08:41:34
Don't mention Giggs for Wolves, he's odds on the next Wigan manager. Moyse is also in a Sunderland, basically leaving us old 'two cakes' Bruce.

I still think the new owners will go overseas, however, due to our link with Mendes. Martinez is the only available manager which would work in this instance.

14.) 23 Jul 2016 08:52:33
Do you not feel the manager we need to get us to the premier league may not be the manager we keep in the Premier league.

15.) 23 Jul 2016 08:55:21
I'm loving the people saying we need to aim higher then Bruce and Martinez etc. in the long run yeah but you seem to forget we are currently a championship team with a thread bare squad so I think your champions league aims for this season may well be too ambitious. Our first goal is to get out this league if we appoint someone to do that we aren't stuck with them forever you know. Look at Watford they went up and still sacked their manager. Think we need to walk before we can run.

16.) 23 Jul 2016 09:04:01
Before Everton, Martinez's record with Swansea and Wigan were second to none. In the championship I can see him doing an excellent job and, like I said, the fact he's European will help a lot with the new owners.

{Ed001's Note - Steve Bruce had Wigan consistently midtable, then Martinez came in and they were in a relegation battle every year. Not sure why he is so highly rated, he is not a good manager.}

17.) 23 Jul 2016 09:11:02
Well said Sbrek.

And Bruce has done it so many times.

18.) 23 Jul 2016 09:12:24
whatever. Steve Bruce instead, then.

{Ed001's Note - I was just pointing out, everyone is so anti-Bruce, yet he is clearly a much better manager than Bobby Martinez. Neither are going to take the club to the top level though.}

19.) 23 Jul 2016 09:20:39
Will you stop calling him 'Bobby Martinez'? You make him sound like a Butlins DJ.

{Ed001's Note - he would probably be a better Butlins DJ, as his only real quality in management is being a nice guy.}

20.) 23 Jul 2016 09:25:39
(or somebody from Dallas)

21.) 23 Jul 2016 09:31:57
I thought editors were supposed not to have any views? . you would normally get sacked for some of your comments on here!

{Ed001's Note - you think? I wouldn't have known that if you hadn't said..... ;-)

22.) 23 Jul 2016 09:33:26
Lol thanks for adding the facts Ed001.

Hopefully that will help the deluded side of the wolves fans see more clearly.

23.) 23 Jul 2016 09:34:03
The earlier posters on here are right, by the way, Wolves are talking to both Martinez and Bruce this weekend.

24.) 23 Jul 2016 09:34:24
Give Steve Bruce a go. He is a promotion specialist. Horses for courses. He also has brownie points with Man U for loan players. Mendes resresents Mourinho, again brownie points with MU and also internationally.

We could hire a fancy Spanish coach but what would he know of the championship? Speedy Gonzales might come unstuck. Different in the PL. if Bruce takes us there, pay him off handsomely and then become more ambitious. Let's walk before we learn to run.

The new owners have talked well of our history, academy and community. They have a stake in Thomas Cook. What about Thomas Cook branding on our shirts? Don't just book it, Thomas Cook it.

25.) 23 Jul 2016 09:42:21
Our history is to appoint ex England managers a la Graham Taylor, Glenn Hoddle how about Roy Hodgson?

26.) 23 Jul 2016 10:01:39
Anyone read the report on sky talking to lopetegui and him not only admitting that it was Wolves he was coming to but also Robin Li is the main man behind the takeover with Fosun. Very interesting.

27.) 23 Jul 2016 10:06:36
Well the new spain coach says robin li is the main man behind the new owners of the wolves. interesting indeed.

28.) 23 Jul 2016 10:10:54
Demon I thought you said that Li bid £41 mil and Morgan chose the wrong owner in Fosun?

29.) 23 Jul 2016 10:24:23
So robin li is involved.

30.) 23 Jul 2016 10:30:02
I presume that Robin Li, Ding Lei and GG all know eachother (being of similar age/ wealth and establishments) and talked amongst themselves about taking Wolves over. So basically it doesn't matter one jot which one 'officially' owned us, as it's all just the same. This is my own conclusion, anyway.

Morgan didn't choose an owner, the Chinese sorted it out amongst themselves.

31.) 23 Jul 2016 10:35:49
But why would Li, a multi billionaire, effectively hide behind another consortium? Don't get it.

32.) 23 Jul 2016 10:59:24
I'm probably being thick here but can we make signings now or do we have to wait until the press conference has happened?

33.) 23 Jul 2016 11:46:00
Laudrup anyone?

34.) 23 Jul 2016 11:55:30
Just seen carlton Palmer leaving the molineux with a grin on his face like he just landed a job! He have us 2 divisions below the conference in no time!

35.) 23 Jul 2016 12:08:21
I just read that Baidu (Robin Li) and Fosum (G. G) have both been looking together for new business ventures within India and the U. K. They have been working very closely together as Fosum are try and get more into the Internet/ smart phones/ communications sector. Baidu are already a search engine group, like Google.

I have absolutely no evidence for this, but maybe the two are going to merge in the near future? Or, alternatively, Fosun will pass Wolves onto Baidu and Mr Li after the two year agreement? Like I said, it's guess work.

36.) 23 Jul 2016 12:11:57
Who said he's hiding. they are only a investment company. read sky sports interview and make ir own minds up.

37.) 23 Jul 2016 12:20:56
Oh darbo if robin li is the main man. Behind fosun then I am glad I called that wrong. but bloody bruce. so so funny. club has to have high ambitions. and he aint.

38.) 23 Jul 2016 12:42:01
Don't be surprised if Robin Li turned down the chance of owning WBA in favour for us. Wolves are seen as having a far bigger long term potential.

39.) 23 Jul 2016 17:26:28
What's going on looks like jackett is staying his got to go.

40.) 23 Jul 2016 19:30:59
Wavidsmith - your line 'Morgan didn't sell the club, the Chinese sorted it out amongst themselves' is highly perceptive. Whereas in the West big corporations are reluctant to partner, the China growth model is much more collaborative, happier to partner. We can't get our heads around the partnership because it's not the norm, but that's how these boys operate.

We are hugely privileged to have both companies backing this.

17 Jul 2016 00:49:30
Mirror claim Robin li is not the wolves buyer. interesting development.

1.) 17 Jul 2016 00:57:47
AC Milan takeover is still not completed. Basically, no one knows nothing so rather than speculate let's all try an live a normal life and wait for the club to make an announcement when they're ready.

2.) 17 Jul 2016 01:37:18
There's no reason to believe that, it's from a source close to Wolves not necessarily in, that Spanish agent who started most of the rumours said it was Robin Li.

Imo it's people guessing what the delay is, when it's probably Brexit causing them to have to get a UK Visa as EU Visa suddenly no longer good enough considering long term investment plan that must go with purchase (more than 2 years and so past Brexit being implemented when EU Visa would be no good) .

Considering that Spanish agent said it was Robin Li and then E&S named him and put a photo up, if it wasn't him I think Wolves would have felt obliged to at least say that, he might not want the unwarranted attention, especially considering his group are negotiating with AC Milan too.

{Ed001's Note - Brexit has not changed anything, so that is crap. There is no change in visa requirements due to Brexit at all.}

3.) 17 Jul 2016 08:03:38
The ac milan deal is done was announced couple of days ago.

4.) 17 Jul 2016 10:03:48
If it wasn't Li do you really think he would have sat there and let the rumour about him buying the club go on like this.

Just chill.

5.) 17 Jul 2016 10:16:15
There has been no confirmation from the AC Milan that the takeover is complete just from one Chinese news channel.

6.) 17 Jul 2016 12:06:01
Re Ed, I realise Brexit hasn't changed anything with Visa's right now, but the Govt plan is they will implement Article 50 end of this year, then 2 years later we will be out of EU, so beginning of 2019.

If Robin Li buys the club he'll still need resident status in UK once we are out of EU, and EU resident status he's currently getting from his EU Visa will no longer necessarily suffice, so I guessed the UK Govt would want to approve his citizenship / right to reside / invest etc on UK terms not EU ones, as that will be he's inevitably in from 2019.

And it may be possible, the Govt haven't even been able to give any guarantees about Euro's right to reside in UK after 2019, let alone non EU foreign Nationals on EU Visa's. The Govt apparently avoided guaranteeing those things, because they reckon they need to form part of the Article 50 negotiations. I guess it 'might' be a hitch in our deal, and if so it would have come out of the blue and caught them out / delayed them.

{Ed001's Note - you are wrong, the visa requirements have not changed, nor the approvals.}

7.) 17 Jul 2016 13:51:39
But the exchange rate has! Anybody saying there is no relevance to this transaction or any other potential purchase of a British club are incorrect.

{Ed001's Note - the exchange rate changes all the time, but any company or person who is looking to buy will have been setting this up long beforehand and would have set up a pound account deliberately to guard against fluctuations in currency values.}

8.) 17 Jul 2016 14:23:12
You refer to hedging Mr Ed but the transaction may not have been sufficiently advanced to commit to currency purchases. Also you slate the views of posters who believe we may have a marketable brand. I'm no expert on this but your posters are entitled to their views. In the 1990s I was working for a shirt brand that was a famous niche name in the 1960s. The brand was re-born and all kinds of products can be found under that brand today in some of the largest department stores in the country. Why can't one of the earliest European soccer success stories become the biggest name in World football again? Let's dream and let's hope!

{Ed001's Note - I never said you do not have a marketable brand, I said you don't have one to match the biggest names, nor even close until you win things.

As for hedging, if they do any business over here, they will have a pound account.}

9.) 17 Jul 2016 14:30:13
NES the exchange rate has been up and down like it always has, the reason it was higher before the vote was because of speculation, the same speculation that is making some of you look like proper tools.

Speculation, HYPE or whatever you "millenials" want to call it, we used to call it Bull but nowadays everyone wants a big spoonful just to complain afterward anyway!

10.) 17 Jul 2016 14:53:01
The dollar exchange rate in the low 1.30s is abnormal not a case of slightly up or down. As regards Chinese companies having pound accounts you are quite correct Mr Ed though the transaction will still be converted and valued in renminbi (or whatever it is) at the transaction date and it will still work out cheaper in the purchaser's books because of the rapid depreciation of the pound pursuant to Brexit. I do believe that Brexit is a catalyst for such projects that may still be gathering dust on the drawing boards right now.

{Ed001's Note - there were multiple Chinese companies, investment groups and individuals trying to buy English clubs anyway. This is nothing to do with Brexit and everything to do with governmental support and backing.}

11.) 17 Jul 2016 15:17:39
So if you were investing your own money you wouldn't fancy paying 10 - 15% less (think of your saving if mad enough to buy baggies for £150 million! )

{Ed001's Note - again they are not investing their own money, they are being subsidised by the govt.}

12.) 17 Jul 2016 15:19:37
And commercial investment deals involve umpteen criteria including in a globalised world, exchange rates.

13.) 17 Jul 2016 17:04:38
It's re-assuring to know that you are aware of all investing parties and their financing vehicles, Mr Ed. The rest of us will wait and hope that whoever takes the reins commits to our wonderful club. Btw I love a good conspiracy theory same as the next man!

{Ed001's Note - thanks.}

04 Jul 2016 15:27:20
Been on sky sports news that wolves want Leicester city coach to link up with new Lopetegui, so looking like wheels in motion.

1.) 04 Jul 2016 15:51:41
if they're saying Ranieri is going to link up with Lopetegui you really are having a laugh!

2.) 04 Jul 2016 16:01:41
Probably Idiakez who used to play for Derby.

3.) 04 Jul 2016 16:17:27
Julen Lopetegui wants the Leicester City Academy Manager as his number 2.

4.) 04 Jul 2016 16:21:59
Inigo Idiakez.

5.) 04 Jul 2016 16:22:09
Its idiakez (spelling)

6.) 04 Jul 2016 16:36:38
Mike Stowell all going well.

7.) 04 Jul 2016 16:54:38
Idiakez yea. But where have Sky got this from? It must be becoming accepted knowledge now. Looks like its genuine alright. Get the deal done and give us the hope and reinvigorate the belief in our club.

PL is only a very small of a massive problem. The players have got numorous managers sacked but are still played and in some cases given Long contracts. a huge turnaround in playing staff is required in summer. Because as some are our own. Doesn't mean there good enough and throwing players in to justify our great academy isn't right. Give PL money and time in summer. He has already said we need 4+ players. FWAW.

1.) 08 Mar 2017 09:06:28
Would you trust Lambert with money Weighman looks terrible, no way would I sighn him, Marshall jury's still out as needs game time, what do you think Wolves fans.

12 Dec 2016 12:18:12
think we should make a move for Everton cd phil jagielka.

1.) 12 Dec 2016 12:41:12
Think his wages would be a massive obstacle.

2.) 12 Dec 2016 17:43:26
Although it was an entertaining game against Fulham, let's not forget were they are in table 10th, and they outplayed us for long periods of the game the stats don't lie, but all credit to wolves for there come back, but the match only shows that we have defensive faults, midfield faults and also a proven striker which we don't have, although we scored 4 goals, wish we could of held out seams like a defeat, and with Cardiff coming up let's hope we don't regret dropping 2 points against Fulham.
What's baffling is McDonald ran the midfield for Fulham and we sold him for £1.25 million and replaced him with Coady who cost £2million who as not got the skill McDonald as in my opinion, I NOW McDonald as weaknesses, but Wolves fans I ask you does that make sense bringing an average midfield player like Coady for that amount of money, because it does not to me, that seams a very.
backward move and as not improved the centre of our midfield as we play 2 similar players there with Edwards as well, but with Edwards he ways in with goals, so to me he would be the preferred player of the two, so what I am saying is I would not play the two of them together in there as there is not much creativity, which in my opinion we are badly lacking in fact with Iorfa performances at full back so far I would give Coady a start at full back.

{Ed001's Note - surely the issue you should be asking questions about is why Coady looks so average for Wolves, when he was excellent the year before at Huddersfield?}

3.) 12 Dec 2016 18:10:52
Well eddy, it's obvious that he as not progressed, just average player to me at the moment, as he scored a goal for we or look like scoring a goal for £2million pound, I expect better from him, it must be because he cannot take the pressure at Wolves being a bigger club and the home crowd demanding more than when he played for Huddersfield, they could buy him back for me for the £2million we payed and we can get a player in midfield what we are crying out for who can create and score goals with proven championship quality, Fosun have the money so let's spend some in January.

{Ed001's Note - is it him not progressing or are Wolves just not using him correctly? Huddersfield play fast, flowing football whenever I have seen them, whereas I have not seen Wolves do the same. From what I have seen there is little to no movement for him to pass to and a lack of opportunities for him to get forward and hit one. Be no point replacing him with another player who will have the exact same problems.}

4.) 12 Dec 2016 22:18:22
McDonald is comfortable on the ball and last season didn't have anyone at wolves on the same wave Length, him Cairney and Johanson murdered us first half. Second half we either hoofed it over the top or down the wings. I'd swap them tomorrow for Coady, Edwards and Saiss.

5.) 12 Dec 2016 23:06:07
Yes Eddie, Huddersfield played fast flowing football and done what, how they beat we 1-0 at there place when they were top of league and we are still sorting our side out at the moment because Lambert nows they are not good enough hope he sorts Wolves out in time for when we play Huddersfield at home.

6.) 13 Dec 2016 08:15:46
bigwolf get a grip man Coady is not the same type of player as McD. He did nit replace him. You talk abiut bug vkubs well Coady came from Liverpool is that big enough to be accepted. by you?
He has hardly ever played to his potential since being here because guys in charge have not been goid enough.

7.) 13 Dec 2016 12:07:50
Derbywolf, I now Coady is not McDonald everybody nows that who nows is football, and I am not saying McDonald is the answer to our problems because we sold him.
As we seen last year when Coady and McDonald played together with whoever else in midfield there was still a problem there and there still is this season that's what I am saying.
So to cut it short I would not miss Coady if we sold him and have not missed McDonald who to me is a cart horse.
Now LANSBURY of Nottm. Forest would be a good sighning if we could get him then I could get a grip of myself Derbywolf.

8.) 15 Dec 2016 17:24:56
Lol touche bigwolf a decent call.

12 Aug 2016 17:12:12
With all the uncertainty at Hull at the moment. should we try a cheeky bid for curtis davis, by far the best cd in this division last season?

1.) 12 Aug 2016 18:20:00
Oh yessssss please.
Curtis Davis without doubt best defender in Chumpionship. Would be nailed on my 1st name on the teamsheet. Captain material. Yes Feckin please.

Well said StPaul.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 19:54:22
Cheers StuWolf. ill ask Father Christmas and me mom. fingers crossed lol.

3.) 12 Aug 2016 20:29:32
Knowing our luck will be Phil babb.

4.) 12 Aug 2016 20:56:17
Would be a great shout. Plus, he'd surely be the first guy to play for us, Birmingham, Villa and the Baggies! But seriously would be a tremendous signing.

09 Aug 2016 16:01:56
Anderson Talisca . been on talkSPORT that he isn't wanted by BENFICA and is being pushed out. he wants premier football and were paying well over the odds. will he show comment if comes?

1.) 09 Aug 2016 16:40:50
Yep, just heard the report on Talks port that the Talisca deal is still on and he's heading for us and not Liverpool.

2.) 09 Aug 2016 17:23:21
Guys, Let's get real and deal with the facts so far. since the takeover, we have invested zero in transfer market as the acquisition of Bodvarsson was funded by KMac transfer to Fulham and we still have £1m surplus.
Having said that Bod seems like a good acquisition for the following reasons:
He wants to play for Wolves
He wants to play in the Championship
He wants to play for the fans. he is one of us.
Do we really want to invest in a prim Donna who wants to play for the following reason so:
He wants to play for Liverpool
He wants to play in the Premiership
He wants to line his own pockets. he is out for himself
Message for Mr Shi and Fosun:
Spend £20m on 5 players who want to play for Wolves, invest in attitude and the right aspiration rather than self interest.
5 Bully's are worth more than one Talisca!
Finally for heavens sake act now before its to late the clock is ticking, give WZ and his staff half a chance.

3.) 09 Aug 2016 17:36:27
Same sh*t, different day.

4.) 09 Aug 2016 18:03:52
Couldn't agree more Jas.

5.) 09 Aug 2016 18:21:11
Totally agree.

6.) 09 Aug 2016 19:14:32
Surely one Bully is worth more than 5 Talisca's.

7.) 10 Aug 2016 06:25:26
More negative crap, give the owners and manager a chance as not been 2 weeks yet!

21 Jul 2016 14:08:00
