Bloody hell some performance. don't think I have ever seen a more one sided game. This has to be the best football seen at the Mol for many a year. What a time to be a Wolves fan and the revolution is only in its infancy. COYW.

Totally dominated West Ham, now need a result at Goodison to put us top of the mid table. Need to buy Johnny and Raul thi summer and add another 3-4 quality players as next season will be tougher. What a great position to be in, as good as could have hoped for.

2.) 30 Jan 2019 11:22:09
9 goals in 3 games would suggest to me that Nuno will not be tempted to panic buy a striker before close of business tomorrow. I think he'll opt to loan a striker to look over between now and the end of the season but will also be identifying other targets to come in and improve us over the longer term. 1st team squad we have at present is excellent. We just need to add the right players to make the squad stronger for 3 main reasons:

1. Squad rotation so the likes of Coady, Moutinho and Jimenez don't get burnt out.
2: Competition for places therefore everyone's performance improves so that they won't be dropped.
3: Cover for injuries. If the likes of Neves, Moutinho, Jimenez or Coady get injured, we have quality to replace them.

3.) 31 Jan 2019 22:18:46
Truth is without actual backup can we really afford to drop jimenez and if we do the only thing we can do is go front 3 with jota as the striker cause cav, costa, traore can't play the striker role.

06 Aug 2018 16:47:36
What's happening with Traore he trained with Boro today.

Dougan74

1.) 06 Aug 2018 17:32:36
Just a picture of him sitting with some of his mates from the youth team by all accounts. He's in a Boro top. Wouldn't read too much into it. Still their player for now.

Said due for a medical in next 24-48 hours that was last night.

Should be done tomorrow i'd say.

2.) 06 Aug 2018 17:33:35
Just saying his goodbyes . medical tomorrow.

3.) 06 Aug 2018 17:34:46
Wolves turning their attentions to re-signing Leon Clarke.

4.) 06 Aug 2018 17:38:08
Probably failed his medical knowing our luck.

5.) 06 Aug 2018 19:16:01
Bbc and spiers reporting the 18 mil release has been met.

Bit confused thought the idea was pay around 20 mil but instalment so we meet FFP regs.

With that leaving us money for more signings.

6.) 06 Aug 2018 19:23:49
BBC and spiers say he will have his medical tomorrow.

7.) 07 Aug 2018 11:14:49
Leon Clarke? Why not Bodvarsson?

30 Jun 2018 18:07:58
Just seen on Twitter that Vinagre and omg Bonatini are to be made permanent!

Dougan74

1.) 30 Jun 2018 18:27:59
Fantastic news 2or3 quality players in now and I think we will do well maybe a big midfielder is going to sign fingers crossed.

2.) 30 Jun 2018 18:34:48
Bonatini signed is a farce he’s not even championship standard let alone Premier League a bit of a comedown to say the least. I have a nasty feeling we won’t sign any more strikers. 💊.

3.) 30 Jun 2018 18:35:49
This is great news even though Leo went cold after Christmas, he deserves a crack at the premier, his goals got us there and Vinagre has loads of potential.

4.) 30 Jun 2018 18:43:57
I really didn't see that one coming in respect of Bonatini! Not sure what to make of it unless we are going to re-sell like Afobe, but as we have given him a four year contract, that doesn't seem likely.

5.) 30 Jun 2018 18:51:18
Leo deserves a second chance imo he was on fire before xmas maybe the break will ignight that fire.

6.) 30 Jun 2018 18:55:00
Both good signings. Bonatini epitomises the wolves style. Vinagre great youngster with bags of potential.
I would say 4-5 in now real quality or something different to give us a plan b or c.

7.) 30 Jun 2018 19:05:00
Dougan74 not sure why you are so negative about Bonatini - I bet November last year you wanted him signed permanently, the lad deserves the opportunity.

8.) 30 Jun 2018 19:05:59
Listen fellas let's not forget Leo's contribution to our promotion.
His goals in the first half of the season really got us off and running to our eventual promotion.
I think with a full pre season from our coaching team Leo will be a lot sharper and I think the prem will suit him better.
He's deserved his contract and he obviously loves the club.
Good on ya Leo, Once a Wolf, always a Wolf.

9.) 30 Jun 2018 19:20:29
The guy has no pace and his first touch isn’t great no amount of pre season will change this. Won’t be many Premier League defenders having sleepless nights. Don’t understand why we didn’t go for Mitrovic as he offers a plan b and keep Afobe as cover.

10.) 30 Jun 2018 19:21:05
he never had a pre-season with us and first in county. the boy will fly . trust me.

11.) 30 Jun 2018 19:25:28
Let’s see, guessing no one in LWB or Striker is coming in now.

12.) 30 Jun 2018 19:31:44
I agree Dappa! He came straight from Middle East at the end of their season then into the Championship with no rest period. No wonder he looked tired towards the end of the season! I truly believe he will be the goal poacher type that we need in and around the 6 yard box once he's had a good rest.

13.) 30 Jun 2018 19:46:19
Dougan Dougan Dougan. Bonitini isn’t a traditional “goal scorer” BUT what he does do is give attacking freedom and a link up from Neves Jota Costa Cav, players like these need somebody to hold the ball up and wait for them to get into the dangerous positions. And let’s be honest, the early part of last season Bonitini was getting on the end of a lot of crosses and converting them.

14.) 30 Jun 2018 19:54:49
Shocked with the Bonatini signing. Way too slow for Premiership. What the hell is Nuno thinking?

15.) 30 Jun 2018 19:57:33
Tell ya what Dougan74, don't turn up and watch him if ya hate him that much. as long as they wear a Wolves shirt you support every player mate.

16.) 30 Jun 2018 19:59:56
Stucorbett is on the wave length.
Bonatini did a job against middlesborough, Cardiff and blues at home near the end of the season.
Leo is a wolf. Leo! Leo! Leo! 🐺🐺🐺.

17.) 30 Jun 2018 20:04:24
We might do the same with bonatini as we did with Afobe buy him and send him out on loan I am disappointed that we’ve bought him but maybe something in it.

18.) 30 Jun 2018 20:08:57
I will support every player that wears the shirt and I don’t hate the guy he’s just not good enough it’s just my opinion as I was expecting a proven goalscorer. StuuCorbett surely then Mitrovic would have been a better option as he can hold the ball up and score as well.

19.) 30 Jun 2018 20:10:47
I'm more shocked that Vinagre has signed permanently. Not played for us since January and Monaco were reluctant to let him leave as they saw him as one for the future.

20.) 30 Jun 2018 20:31:41
It’s a squad game, you can’t have a squad full of world beaters. Bonatini I’m sure won’t be first choice. He will be used as a sub or as a cup player. I however would trust Nuno’s judgement much more than I do Dougan74’s.

21.) 30 Jun 2018 20:37:27
William Carvalho please. Totally complement Neves.

22.) 30 Jun 2018 20:41:20
I will take the pair of them Leo was unfortunate after Xmas if I'm right I'm sure he was 5 mill for him but I don't no what vinagre was, both squad players pleased about Leo he is used to nunos way, we still need another forward in though.

23.) 30 Jun 2018 20:43:50
Mixed feelings about the Leo signing, but I guess that is because I was awaiting the 'marque' signing we have been expecting for a few months.
However, I guess if someone had put forward a 24 year old Brazilian striker that scored 12 goals (and upteen assists) in 42 appearances last season, we would have seen that as a decent return on 'stats'.
What we do know, is that he complements our game plan very well - you don't get that from 'stats'.

Like all signings, we have to wait and see and ope they fulfil our requirements.
Money and 'name' mean nothing if you do not perform - ask Mr Silva at Milan!

UTW.

24.) 30 Jun 2018 20:49:19
I’m also a little shocked with the signing of Bonatini, but if Nuno sees something in him then that’s good enough for me. Now give him your support don’t knock the lad, he’s in the pack, and a wolf pack protects their own. 🐺.

25.) 30 Jun 2018 21:16:48
Zulecho are you a wolves fan you told me bonatini had gone.

26.) 30 Jun 2018 21:25:12
Bonatini signed? Only a bench warmer. New CF will be arriving - likely Silva now Portugal out of WC.

27.) 30 Jun 2018 21:37:06
I really don’t get the Bonatini signing - unless we are going to do an Afobe and sell him on next week for a profit. To me he is nowhere near the standard we will require next season. In Nuno we trust however. Hopefully though we will now sign a first choice quality striker.

IMO we need a centre back, cover for Doc at RWB, a CDM (William Carvalho would be my choice) a top striker and a wide attacker.

Vinagre is a great signing mind.

OODCL.

28.) 30 Jun 2018 22:00:40
Ok so people, however you want to put it, are hating on the bonatini signing, well shame on you all, that lad got our season going yes he had a poor second half but end the end of the day it was his first season in the league without a proper pre season, same old sh** different day from some of you lot, give the lad a chance before he even kicks a ball in the prem, yes there may be better but he wants to be at the club and wants to do his best for us. UTW AND IN NUNO I F****** TRUST!

29.) 30 Jun 2018 22:16:12
Timtoo, he had gone. but obviously wolves had something in the pipeline. TBH, No one saw this coming did they.?

30.) 30 Jun 2018 22:17:53
We'll said Dearniwolf.

31.) 30 Jun 2018 23:38:36
Where have all the #ITK gone? Not one of their sources mentioned Leo.

32.) 30 Jun 2018 23:39:55
Bonatini is a great signing, £5million, a full pre-season, amazing work rate and the ability to score. Andre Silva on the other hand has been so ineffective at the world cup and the money they are asking would be a horrendous purchase. Hopefully one more striker to come as I think we need 3. Personally I would love it to be Vincent Aboubakar although it probably won't be. Wolves ay we.

33.) 30 Jun 2018 23:51:58
Danny Ings and Jack Wilshere will do.

34.) 01 Jul 2018 00:45:43
Personally think vinagre might go out on loan or we could end up with LWBs like we could end up with 3 RWBs doc Phil and someone else might not be the worse thing like to have 3 strikers as well and also have the chance of using jota, Cav, costa as 3 false 9.

35.) 01 Jul 2018 04:50:47
Who says bonatini is not good enough need to pull their necks in. Without his goals wolves would be having another season in the championship while watching neves strut his stuff at man u. So shut up you clueless morons.

36.) 02 Jul 2018 02:17:33
People seem to think signing 20 goal strikers is easy. It isn't. We are the new boys on the block again and how many clubs AREN'T chasing a 20 goal striker? IF such players are available, they have to be sold on a project to come to us and that sort of player is usually looking for an established top league club and a big pay cheque. There are limits to how much money can be spent after all! People also seem to forget that Bonatini was playing with a shoulder issue last season, which would not have helped his performances. Signing him at a relatively cheap price makes a lot of sense, especially with him being familiar with the club, the system and the players around him. A full preseason will also help.

At least he is better than nothing whilst the club continues to search for and sign another striker. At best Bonatini will be a back up to Raul Jimenez anyway.

Besides, I think the coaching staff and scouting staff have a much better idea about players than all of us combined.

37.) 01 Jul 2018 22:40:33
Leo did well for us and I am pleased he is joining his skill is his position play which means he poaches goals as well as gets on the end of crosses

If Jiminez is any good he will keep Leo out of the team and we have Mir plus Neves, Costa, Cav that's a great selection well if Mir is any good it is.

Just a quick shout out to any fans with a spare ticket for the Brighton game as I can't get one for my mate. This is my first game of the season, finances aren't great, and my mate is sick of me going on about the atmosphere at a packed Mol. We are traveling from Ireland and I can't wait. Would be so grateful if anyone could help me out and best of luck to the team and fans on Sun. COYW.

On this day in 1967 we signed Doog hopefully he can bring us some luck today. I'm going for 1-0 with Adama springing from the bench to win it. COYW.

Well to done to the boys today. Wouldn't it be nice to cap off this season if Liverpool needed to beat us on the final day of the season. What a game that could be. COYW.

1.) 02 Mar 2019 20:34:49
Sublime play for both goals. Oops ruddy again! MGW out of this world for his age. Adama's shooting (? ) Could have whacked em, that and their keeper. See Colin moaning that Bennett should've gone but no mention of his players actions on jota. He really p***s me off. Good to bounce back after Huddersfield. Thought vinagre shone too.

2.) 03 Mar 2019 01:05:41
I couldn't get to the match but watched it on nbc sports gold, the one commentator did raise a smile regarding traore getting some instructions of Nuno the commentator said "he's telling Traore keep doing that but try hitting the target. " after what i'd been through the team did me proud today.

02 Feb 2019 20:36:16
You cannot be serious, waiting to see highlights of the game on Sky Sports game of the day and what do they show Chelsea v Huddersfield. Is this a bloody joke!

Dougan74

{Ed025's Note - everton games are always at the bottom of the list dougan, and they deserve to be usually mate..

1.) 02 Feb 2019 21:11:44
I think the Spurs match being on 2nd is more ridicolous to be honest!

2.) 03 Feb 2019 20:45:20
If you go on match choice you can select what game you want to watch first.

27 Jan 2019 10:41:54
Whatever about needing a striker " which we do" the absence of Boly and the lack of cover at center half is even more concerning. 5 goals conceded while he has been out in just two games. Saiss just isn't good enough at the back. According to E&S the club are relaxed about signings for the back line which is a worry, why wait until the summer to get players in and make a push we have the opportunity now to get into Europe. The second year is usually tougher for promoted teams as teams know what to expect. We need to take our opportunity now!

Dougan74

1.) 27 Jan 2019 11:58:12
interesting to hear you say saiss ain't good enough / I agree but far and away above that you have to look at our captain . playing in the easiest position ever invented (sweeper) I could lay the blame to at least 9 goals this season squarely at his feet I think we have a waisted position there and would benefit from a bigger more experienced player yes of course we miss bolly but we are a squad and as such should be able to compete without the odd player missing onwards and upwards COYW.

2.) 27 Jan 2019 12:40:11
January is also the trickiest window to deal in.
Invariably you either sign 'up and comers', or 'decent but not getting a game' or overpriced mediocre.
Overpricing is the worst of these two and is usually the domain of the relegation battle teams.

3.) 27 Jan 2019 22:51:30
Coady is key to Nuno's system and does he ever have a bad match? Not really plus he has scooped a couple of goal bound balls off the line too.

Fulham are going to have a good squad and don't seem bothered about FFP. Wish we could get a signing or two over the line. Nuno says its difficult because we have high quality already so we can't find anyone better than Bath, Bennett, Bonatini, Mir?

Bit too slow for my liking no cover for Doherty, Boly or Neves we all saw what happened when any of these were missing last season. Also no proven goal scorer and a spend of 35 million is similar to the likes of Brighton and Huddersfield when they got promoted. A reality check I think.

Yep feel the same and I think 2 or 3 more signings at most and due to the fact that Neves new contract will earn him 50k a week I the wage limit is set so signings like Wilshere or Cancelo were never going to happen.
