Didn't realise that Fosun invested heavily in Rio Ave FC over the last week. Maybe that's why we've been linked with some of there players.

03 Jun 2017 21:20:18
I read it as Mendes was involved in moving players from them over the last week but may be wrong . Fosun were named.

03 Jun 2017 21:55:29
Fosun were looking to buy the club in March 2017 but rather than buy, they've decided to invest €10m which was ratified on 1st June.

03 Jun 2017 22:19:14
Jas M I found another artical and Fosun do have a stake in Rio Ave FC.

03 Jun 2017 20:01:57
Can see iorfa being sold as he won't be needed next season.

03 Jun 2017 21:21:40
Linked to Derby but with smarter CD's coming in I think he could improve with us.

03 Jun 2017 22:31:43
My understanding is Fosun have invested 10 m euros in building works of the Rio Ave stadium, so they must have some level of interest in it to do that? How much I don't know. The current stadium only holds about 12,800 and there average crowd is around 4000 so not very big.

I might have the numbers askew a little, but that is what I think they are! πŸ‘πŸ˜‰βš½οΈ If we get Miranda he will play in a better stadium with much bigger crowds. Porto and benfica have 45,000 and 55,000 average crowds I think.

03 Jun 2017 22:40:53
Wasn't he valued at Β£9m last season but only Β£4m now. Should have sold him a year ago.

03 Jun 2017 19:39:28
If wolves can get o'shea good enough for the championship, miranda, krovanovic, ayeh, josh scowan for starters then we have a core squad who can improve what we already have. Also tie silvio up on a new contract. Still don't think our provlems ever been in attack when with a creative midfield they will score plenty.

03 Jun 2017 14:43:23
Wondering why we have'nt produced a striker from our Academy by now?

03 Jun 2017 16:56:39
Well we've Enobakahre, who I think will go on to a "bright" future in the game - fact is Lambert played him too deep so didn't get enough goals. Then there's Niall Ennis and Donovan Wilson who should both be knocking on the door next season - only a broken leg put a stop on Niall's rapid progress.

03 Jun 2017 17:09:53
Wondering if you go to games because I've seen 1 this season plus 2 more.

03 Jun 2017 17:34:09
Good point mate bet what about this Wilson lad and bright looks good 2.

03 Jun 2017 23:03:09
Out of the darkness, sorry mate I think your still in the dark! Our current crop of strikers couldn't strike a match between them. Only my view based on what I've seen. good strikers still score goals even when the rest of the team aren't on it! πŸ‘πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚.

04 Jun 2017 18:21:12
Wolves coast so you don't think dicko is capable of 15 goals next season then? If they sort the midfield out.
Who was the top scorer for middlesbro the season before when they went up and with how many goals?
My point is although 20 goals a season plus helps if the whole squad chip in with their fair share and clean sheets are kept WE GO UP.

03 Jun 2017 14:03:34
well just backfrom holidays and loads of news I think its about time daley went he was never fit himself so how did he get to be fitness coach? any way about the nuno effect I myself think it can only be a good thing he has time to assess and see what he needs he has experience with mendes and can bring players on onwards and upwards COYW!

03 Jun 2017 15:09:58
I would imagine Tony Daley went to university or college to get the necessary qualifications to become a fitness coach. It could have been that his own fitness problems inspired him to follow that career path, and in no way would his fitness as player impact his ability to be a fitness trainer.

03 Jun 2017 17:59:26
hi ya clive wolves I have said for many seasons the over training of our players has contributed massively to the amount of injured players we have this I can only put down to tony daleys lack of knowledge on how to keep a squad fit and healthy I cheered when I heard he was going hopefully he goes back to the vile!

03 Jun 2017 18:57:11
How many of our players were injured as a result of Daleys fitness regime? Zyro, Graham and Dicko all suffered their long term injuries during a match after tackles by opposition players. Williamson hurt himself at home. Who was injured as a direct result of Tony Daleys schedule?

04 Jun 2017 09:12:45
look deeper jas m at just how many players played little football for the club due to strains daley was never any good!

05 Jun 2017 00:20:23
Name some and then explain the part Daley played in their injury. As a fitness coach, it was Daleys job to ensure they had the right levels to play a football match. Injuries are the remit of the medical team. Nothing to do with the fitness coach.

03 Jun 2017 13:47:32
Hear Wolves linked to John O'shea from sunderland, never been impressed with him hope he goes somewhere else, one player I would love back is Kevin Macdonald who could be leaving fulham should never sold him great with Costa and cav, put a bid in Nuno.
God Bless all.

03 Jun 2017 16:25:14
A step backwards Davetcb, we need to be moving forward.

03 Jun 2017 13:32:44
I wonder who will be tasked with moving the players onto other clubs to make room for the inevitable new arrivals. We will need to sell as many as possible to stay within ffp guidelines but who would command decent fees. Edwards and coady maybe. Not much else!

03 Jun 2017 13:59:13
Bath, Iorfa, Price, Evans, Dicko, Glaydon, Hause, Docherty, saville, coady, Edwards, everyone else can stay.
GodBless.

03 Jun 2017 17:00:02
Batth is captain and future England player - not going anywhere. More prejudice from manic depressives. Get real - Batth is staying at Wolves!

03 Jun 2017 18:35:05
Really ENGLAND. lol😁😁😁😁

GodBless.

03 Jun 2017 19:50:13
As a Wolves fan and a Scotsman, my God, how I'd love to see Batth captain England.

Oh yes, come on Gareth pick up the phone. πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜Ž.

03 jun 2017 13:27:14
irish paper the times reporting we are one of 4 teams looking at signing john o'shea, past his best i fear.

03 Jun 2017 13:22:19
Maca was class. I think what your trying to say is he made price look better. for me price and Evans are league 1 players savielle is league 2.

03 Jun 2017 08:36:48
I see Brighton are lookin to buy k Mac? As I said when he was sold it was a big error, him and Price together were by far our best midfield set up. getting rid of K Mac and keepin Evans Savillle and Edwards! Laughable! Anyway new start now, let's hope this guy can spot a footballer!

03 Jun 2017 09:56:14
Agreed PT. We should have kept him. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘.

03 Jun 2017 10:29:35
He's been one of our better players in recent years and if we had kept him I reckon Costa would have been even better, running on to McDonald's threaded passes. We have missed him.

03 Jun 2017 11:20:56
Sure we should have kept him, but there were serious issues off the pitch.

03 Jun 2017 12:06:26
Evidence of serious issues?

03 Jun 2017 12:11:08
Yes the only issue that bothered me was on the pitch, and his biggest problem was he could spot a pass, so yes that was an issue as the other midfielders couldn't!

03 Jun 2017 17:54:33
Macdonald was a class above our other midfield players, I guess we need a Portuguese version. Not another sage and onions.

02 Jun 2017 23:09:00
Was hoping jackett would go to portsmouth as he was their number 1 choice. Now hope he comes in for some of our under 23 squad so they can gain valuable game time on loan. don't be suprised if he takes a few.

03 Jun 2017 11:21:28
& buys Saville.
