Big game on Saturday. But confidence must be sky high in the squad. Three cracking (league) results. Let's make the Mol a cauldron of noise on Saturday. Be the 12, 13, 14, 15th man,

Plus we owe 'Colin' one for his comments about us last season. Bring it on Warnock.

1.) 16 Aug 2017 19:27:03
I'm not 100 per cent sure
But watch Ruben v Hull
Just think we may have the best midfielder on the planet.

2.) 16 Aug 2017 19:40:36
Nelson oliveira back in Norwich line up for tonight's game.

3.) 16 Aug 2017 19:47:41
How about usain bolt as striker from what I've seen of him he's got sudden burst of speed very tall good with the head very strong should brush defenders aside and should have a good eye for goal.

4.) 16 Aug 2017 20:16:49
Can see them sitting and been very disciplined in terms of shape.
10 at the back zohore up front waiting. Warnock will get them wound up to make sure it isn't comfortable and look to nick it either by set piece (standard warnock) or counter attack.
However I feel we have enough quality and a more thorough shape than Cardiff.
Do you go for Jota or Cav? As jota has played continuously. Personally if Jota is fit and got enough for an hour then he plays.
I can either see an ugly draw or wolves been mesmerising and scoring 3-0. The defence won't be happy after last night. ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ.

5.) 16 Aug 2017 22:13:12
ugly draw for me, warnock will have em wound up'i hope we get through it injury free.!

6.) 16 Aug 2017 23:25:22
Would love to beat their ugly football with some class moves failing that some bruises from Boly!

7.) 17 Aug 2017 08:39:03
We will out football them, not like in the past when we couldn't break teams down, we've quality now and will def do this bunch of sheep shaggers! ๐Ÿ‘.

8.) 17 Aug 2017 10:13:53
We've got to get the chant going.,
"Colin colin give us a wave"
Warnock hates it.

9.) 17 Aug 2017 16:00:05
Realist, I came on this site and spotted your contribution, I liked what I read.

But Neves, "best Midfielder on the Planet"
Youm avin a Giraffe mate!

He's the "best Midfielder in the Universe" (out of this World) see what I did there?

I have'nt done "Hero worship" since Waggy finished, but this kid Neves is something else.
Keep an eye on Vinagre too, 17 years old.

10.) 17 Aug 2017 17:34:55
Steady on Stu. Neves is very good yes but remember he wasn't even a regular for Porto. If you're saying he's better than Modric, Iniesta, Verratti etc then with respect you're pulling our collective Willy Bolys!

11.) 17 Aug 2017 18:13:59
Yes Old Wulf
Was a tad over the top,
Just avin a laugh like tne rest you guys.

But he is bloody good.

23 Jul 2017 08:56:50
Has anyone got any news on the Neves injury? What's he done? How bad? How long is he out for?

1.) 23 Jul 2017 10:47:18
Neves was in the mount pub after the game and he says it's only bruising not to worry:) ) ) )

2.) 23 Jul 2017 12:03:46
And has anybody got any word on why Jordan Graham isn't getting any game time?

02 Jul 2017 17:21:32
Have heard Willy Boly has signed on loan.

Does this mean the new song at the Mol will be Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs- singing Willy Boly. (wooly Bully) . ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

1.) 02 Jul 2017 17:47:19
showing your age now, n1, lol.

2.) 02 Jul 2017 17:53:55
Combine the two in one song.

3.) 02 Jul 2017 18:02:43
There is now talk of Vincent Aboubaker from porto coming to us. Good goal scoring record.

4.) 02 Jul 2017 18:10:08
does it mean we got to do the bull dance from happy gilmore.

5.) 02 Jul 2017 20:49:41
Still rather have Afobe! Proven and knows the set up.

6.) 03 Jul 2017 09:54:35
Wow unbelievable pal afobe over aboubaker he would destroy this league big strong quick scores goals.

12 May 2017 13:44:03
The main problem we're looking at, is a possible repeat of nearly a year ago.
A massive influx of players from the Mendes stable. Who either can't play together, or aren't good enough for the championship.
Then the club appoints a head coach, again a Mendes boy, with no experience of this league or this country.

1.) 12 May 2017 14:56:38
Not saying I agree with what's happening as still undecided about Mendes, Lambert and Fosun. But I don't think we can judge Mendes' ability to provide us with good quality signings based on what was a rushed job last summer.

He just had to get volume in last year. Think would be an improved offering this summer with time to choose quality and not just quantity.

Whatever happens, it will be an interesting summer again!

2.) 12 May 2017 15:05:19
Thing is people need to stop comparing what's going on now to last summer.

Facts from last summer
Takeover delayed, delay caused us to lose the manager theyd got prepared to take over in Lopetegui to the spain job, delay also most likely caused us to lose out on targets fosun had earmarked. We had 34 days before the close of the transfer window and a threadbare squad. People talk about Mendes's influence etc but without his influence last summer we would have been in a far worse situation in terms of having a squad with even less quality and a lot less players. We panicked because of how little time we had to work with. Saying Fosun haven't learned because of what's going on now would be naive. The championship hasn't even concluded for this season yet still the play-offs to play. Transfer window doesn't open till july and pre season is nowhere near upon us, i'd say if they have doubts on Lambert now is the perfect time to get rid with plenty of time to get the right man at the helm for the start of the window and pre season.

Also people say about managers with no experience of this league? Zerngas problem wasn't this leagues experience it was his managerial pedigree full stop. Talk about experience, look at the top 6 apart from Hughton at Brighton not much championship experience there!

Before this season

Rafa- None
Stam- None
Carvalho- less then a full season at sheffield
Wagner- Few months back end of the prior season
Jokanovic- 1 season with Watford (which he got promoted)

Exeperience isn't always neccesary if the managers good enough.

3.) 12 May 2017 15:40:52
How has it come to this?
Whatever is going on, it has been handled badly.
The darkness is closing in on us again.

4.) 12 May 2017 17:03:02
Well said.
Anyone worried about next season should stop worrying.

5.) 12 May 2017 17:28:23
Sbrek, yes, let's look at his influence last year.
He brought in, or advised on bringing in, 13 players.
Of the thirteen, Eleven were pretty much rubbish.

Think about it. That's an ENTIRE TEAM of players who were no good.

6.) 12 May 2017 18:19:26
Sbrek has it spot on, I don't think the players brought in last summer were as bad as people make out. A lot of them were just threw into the championship and hadn't got a pre season together.
Costa - Brilliant
Cavaliero - When fit, very good and could be as good as Costa
Saiss - shows promise. Should be better next season
Oniangue - looked decent, better than Saville and Evans, could be a good championship player
Bodvarrsson - not had the luck, can't fault effort, probably not quite good enough
Stearman - not a bad back up
Borthwick Jackson - looked very good for united, bad attitude at wolves, don't think you can judge that before signing him.

7.) 12 May 2017 18:19:43
Lowwolf, I'm interested to know who your 13 players your referring to are? As not all were Mendes influenced or advised?

Mendes players advised in:
Ola John

Thelwell and other scouting resource influenced

Not all of our signings were Mendes influenced and in fact the majority of the players he had an influence in were loan deals?

8.) 12 May 2017 18:41:35
Loan or signing, the majority were very poor.

9.) 12 May 2017 18:45:11
SO, you're more than happy to let an agent fill our club with HIS players? Irrespective of whether the head coach wants them? Even if they don't fit into his plans or tactics.

10.) 12 May 2017 19:16:11
Lowwolf I think your missing the point of what my actual paragraph was about, it was purely we shouldn't panic at getting rid of Lambert and that although how bad this season was things could have been a hell of a lot worse then how it ended up giving the proceedings of how things happened last summer with how late the takeover was! I was also just stating that as much as people don't want to look at the facts without Mendes's input last season we would pretty much have been surefire candidates for league one in the 17/ 18 season. The two who I'm assuming out of last seasons signings you class as non being rubbish cavaliero and costa were both Mendes players and were petty much our saving grace. Also as StuCorbett has rightly pointed out our signings weren't as bad as they're being made out. Players like Saville and batth etc who were problems in our season last season were very much already part of the club. As regards your question about Mendes I think we would be silly not to utilise his contacts and power in the game but also I would like to point out he hasn't filled out clubs by all means! Out of the 6 players he influenced in bringing to the club only 2 will actually be contracted to the club come next season due to the others being loans or Silvios case a years contact, incidentally the 2 players left will be the only 2 players you class as being good enough for our team?

31 Jan 2017 22:20:23
Deslandes gone to Bury on loan. Till the end of th season

1.) 31 Jan 2017 22:33:02

It's ok Billy, they'll all be able to catch up in the winter. When our sun loving foreign players struggle to perform.

4.) 02 Jan 2018 10:08:52
Donโ€™t thank Bruce thank Nuno for softening up Bristol for vile n thank Johnson for keeping same team that gave everything against wolves only 48hrs b4 would been diff result had Bristol had more rest but that was Johnson call but most work was done on sat by wolves.

31 Dec 2017 10:32:04

23 Dec 2017 19:31:52
A very VERY merry Christmas to all Wolves fans, and to all the Editors in here. Wishing you a brilliant Christmas and a happy, peaceful, joyful New Year.

{Ed007's Note - Merry Christmas to all of you too mate.}

1.) 24 Dec 2017 08:20:44
Wolves runaway leaders of the Championship at Christmas - what a present for us all!
In 50 years we've never had players like these ( with respect to the great players in the early seventies) .
Mick's promotion side were at the limit of their abilities when we were last promoted. Mick deserves full credit for that, but the current team IMO are different, young and getting better and the basis of a team that can stay in the top flight. Top half finish next year! Top 4 the year after!

29 Oct 2017 08:31:40
So now we have a Workd cup Winner, and final scoring player.
Well done Morgan Gibbs-White, and congratulations to the U17 squad.

So many positives in and around the Mol at the moment.

1.) 29 Oct 2017 17:14:56
Do you remember Ron Flowers.

2.) 30 Oct 2017 13:25:00
Wolf I remember my dads story's of him and when a kid in the 80's he had a wolves shop in town by the coach station.

3.) 30 Oct 2017 15:58:47
What a player Ron Flowers was in the 1966 England world cup winning squad.
Seen him play great player, my favourite Wolves player was Peter Knowles what a player, had everything and gave it up to be jeovahs witness, sad day that was for all the Wolves fans who idolised him.

Why would he even half consider going to the poorthawns? He doesnโ€™t want to play in the Championship.

Heโ€™s captain of probably the best team this division has ever seen, why would he want to lower himself.
