Agreed a deal for Zinchenko. £16 million. Depends now if he wants to come.

1.) 08 Aug 2018 19:58:42
Done a month ago, he's nothing but decisive, I'd favour pulling out.

2.) 08 Aug 2018 20:04:07
He is due at Compton tomorrow morning for a medical and to discuss personal terms.

3.) 08 Aug 2018 20:21:22
Good job you ain’t running the club then wollaby.

4.) 08 Aug 2018 20:27:21
Don’t you mean divisive?

5.) 08 Aug 2018 20:31:24
If it was ‘done’ a month ago, why was it on S*y sport.

6.) 08 Aug 2018 21:09:27
Because he wanted to see if he could make it work at city being as he played all the pre season games. Never made the squad for the charity shield tho so has to make his mind up if he wants regular football.

7.) 08 Aug 2018 21:50:44
I know Zinchenko is a good player, but I am the only one who is kind of hesitant to bring him into Wolves if he clearly doesn't want to move and be a part of the team?

Considering this transfer was apparently agreed with City several weeks ago it has been Zinchenko holding it up, even the best players are crap when they aren't motivated or invested in the club.

8.) 08 Aug 2018 22:23:18
I agree Neil. Prob a great signing but he's made it clear he doesn't want to come to Wolverhampton. that's a big worry.

9.) 08 Aug 2018 22:28:56
Wollabby, can’t blsme the lad for thinking of over, one of best teams in Europe and in champions league and possible top coach in Europe, or wolves, I’m hoping he chooses wolves to get more playing time.

10.) 08 Aug 2018 22:48:12
Get your point Neil and I would normally agree however I don't think this is a case of him not wanting us, more a case of him not wanting to leave Peps City team! As in I don't think he's been waiting on other bids more waiting on Peps decisions most likely. I suppose he must know it will probs be one of the best teams he will have a crack at in a while, can't blame a man for not wanting any regrets. Besides it does show that he's ambitious and confident in his own ability both traits that will make him perfect for Fosun era Wolves! COYW ;)

11.) 09 Aug 2018 07:01:38
Zinchenko said himself that life in the U. K. didn't suit him. With that attitude IMO he's bad news. Lowwolf, you obviously haven't been keeping up to date, the fee was reportedly agreed a month ago and Zinchenko has not committed himself. We only want players committed to the cause thank you, not those who wait for a better option and then decide in our favour when doesn't come along.

12.) 09 Aug 2018 09:01:54
It was on sky last night mate, headlines, when I posted it on here.
If I’m sluggish, so are their reporters.

14 Jun 2018 09:03:04
Everton at home to kick it all off.

1.) 14 Jun 2018 09:28:27
Indeed low wolf. Foxs away then man City. Give it to um. COYW now the excitement starts. Sod the world cup except jiminez.

2.) 14 Jun 2018 15:01:04
You don't like Saiss then? Lol.

14 Mar 2018 10:34:08
Has anyone heard anything on Jota? Any news on his injury? .

1.) 14 Mar 2018 11:28:23
There is a picture on Jota's Twitter page of his ankle. Very swollen and cut. Don't know what the medical verdict is but I would guess he'll be out for at least a couple of weeks.
Wishing him well, he's been a key player for us.

2.) 14 Mar 2018 13:47:12
That's what I think if it's just a ankle sprain, couple of weeks after burton we have a two week layoff anyway
Afobe can fill in anyway so could be a blessing in disguise.

3.) 19 Mar 2018 16:03:52
i hear 3 weeks probably.

08 Mar 2018 17:15:48
Statement issued by the EFL, on bbc and Sky websites.
Looks like it’s all done with. A meeting with the club to reiterate what the league expects from its clubs.

1.) 08 Mar 2018 19:31:33
I wouldn't worry about it mate. Since when did ruddy, Bennett, Stevenson, saiss, n diaye, Norris, boly, Douglas, rafa mir, bonatani, afobe all become mendes clients. Clubs wern't complaining last year when we were mid table. It's a joke.

We have signed to many players who don't belong to Mendes. Clubs saying it's not fair because we have connections with Mendes and he gets us quality players. Should we complain because John Terry signed for villa because he plays golf with Bruce? Or the fact they spent 90m last year?

It's not fair for other clubs in the league when clubs coming down from the premier league being able to spend that sort of money. How do the likes of burton and clubs like that ever compete. Doctor xia can do one. Giving it the big en taking pictures on Twitter of champagne saying villa are spending big again and fans will be happy.

A year on and your still struggling to get up, So instead of realising your a complete Muppet and have blew 90m and you have no more money to spend, you pick on the wolves just because we are walking the league. When we get cleared of doing nothing wrong, doctor Xia can pick his toys back up.

2.) 08 Mar 2018 19:40:20
When the all clear comes from the EFL I hope fosun sue Leeds derby and vile for slander.

3.) 08 Mar 2018 20:05:31
Excellent post DTM. 👍👍.

4.) 08 Mar 2018 21:52:16
The Leeds owner could be on the receiving end of legal action for claiming our ties with Mendes are "not legal". That'll be less money for the Leeds transfer budget!

5.) 08 Mar 2018 22:53:52
Spot on DTM!

6.) 08 Mar 2018 23:58:51
I don’t think they will or should sue. The biggest slap in the face for all these teams is for it not to effect us. We’ve worked within the regulations and we continue to play our game and win the league. That will piss them off more than suing them. Knowing we didn’t give a rat’s dart about their bitching and moaning and made them look a bunch of what they are. LOSERS!
Come on me babies!
Last push and also show Villa for what they are on Saturday!

7.) 09 Mar 2018 10:41:42
It's not just us who could sue under defamation laws - Jorge Mendes could.

16 Aug 2017 16:55:29
Big game on Saturday. But confidence must be sky high in the squad. Three cracking (league) results. Let's make the Mol a cauldron of noise on Saturday. Be the 12, 13, 14, 15th man,

Plus we owe 'Colin' one for his comments about us last season. Bring it on Warnock.

1.) 16 Aug 2017 19:27:03
I'm not 100 per cent sure
But watch Ruben v Hull
Just think we may have the best midfielder on the planet.

2.) 16 Aug 2017 19:40:36
Nelson oliveira back in Norwich line up for tonight's game.

3.) 16 Aug 2017 19:47:41
How about usain bolt as striker from what I've seen of him he's got sudden burst of speed very tall good with the head very strong should brush defenders aside and should have a good eye for goal.

4.) 16 Aug 2017 20:16:49
Can see them sitting and been very disciplined in terms of shape.
10 at the back zohore up front waiting. Warnock will get them wound up to make sure it isn't comfortable and look to nick it either by set piece (standard warnock) or counter attack.
However I feel we have enough quality and a more thorough shape than Cardiff.
Do you go for Jota or Cav? As jota has played continuously. Personally if Jota is fit and got enough for an hour then he plays.
I can either see an ugly draw or wolves been mesmerising and scoring 3-0. The defence won't be happy after last night. 🐺🐺🐺.

5.) 16 Aug 2017 22:13:12
ugly draw for me, warnock will have em wound up'i hope we get through it injury free.!

6.) 16 Aug 2017 23:25:22
Would love to beat their ugly football with some class moves failing that some bruises from Boly!

7.) 17 Aug 2017 08:39:03
We will out football them, not like in the past when we couldn't break teams down, we've quality now and will def do this bunch of sheep shaggers! 👍.

8.) 17 Aug 2017 10:13:53
We've got to get the chant going.,
"Colin colin give us a wave"
Warnock hates it.

9.) 17 Aug 2017 16:00:05
Realist, I came on this site and spotted your contribution, I liked what I read.

But Neves, "best Midfielder on the Planet"
Youm avin a Giraffe mate!

He's the "best Midfielder in the Universe" (out of this World) see what I did there?

I have'nt done "Hero worship" since Waggy finished, but this kid Neves is something else.
Keep an eye on Vinagre too, 17 years old.

10.) 17 Aug 2017 17:34:55
Steady on Stu. Neves is very good yes but remember he wasn't even a regular for Porto. If you're saying he's better than Modric, Iniesta, Verratti etc then with respect you're pulling our collective Willy Bolys!

11.) 17 Aug 2017 18:13:59
Yes Old Wulf
Was a tad over the top,
Just avin a laugh like tne rest you guys.

But he is bloody good.

Whether you’re travelling down, up or across tomorrow to join up with the pack. Have a safe journey people.
Let’s rock Wembley like it’s never heard before. Let’s show the FA and the millions watching, that we aren’t on our way back, not anymore. We are Wolves, we ARE back 🐺🐺.

1.) 07 Apr 2019 08:38:04
Nice one Lowwolf, I would just like to echo your sentiments and add this, we are Wolves, we are back but let’s show the FA and the viewing public around the world that we also know how to behave wether at Wembley or in the pub like I will be, and I can’t wait COME ON YOU WOLVES. 👍🤞🏼😀🍺.

2.) 07 Apr 2019 10:16:58
Everyone going to Wembley today, have a good trip, have a safe trip and let's show everyone that we are the Wolf Pack and roar the boys on to glory.

We know Nuno had a dream, but Stattowolfs' dream last night included a Moutinho 20 yard special and a Watford red card.

3.) 07 Apr 2019 10:54:55
And to all you lucky buggers going, a big thanks from this armchair wolf too old to be there. Hearing you all on the box makes me proud to know the lads have got the 12th man. So excited now. Hope you all have a great day, and safe journies to one and all. COYW LOUD AND PROUD.

4.) 07 Apr 2019 12:30:22
Setting off from the Mol car Park earlier. Coaches headed down Waterloo road, Stafford Road, down to M54. What a sight- seeing people on doorsteps, corners, and along the pavements, wearing wolves tops, waving flags and scarves- what a send off. Just shows the potential of this glorious club, shows how much the local community is behind the team.

20 Mar 2019 19:13:49
So, the only way to buy a semi final ticket, is online or phone!
No over the counter sales!

1.) 21 Mar 2019 15:55:13
Yeah, used to enjoy queueing at the back of the old South Bank, down the allley, along the Waterloo Road and up Molineux Street, plenty of fans always camped out overnite, those were the days my friend (that was a new song in those days)

2.) 21 Mar 2019 18:14:58
Happy days Oxley, before this inter-web thing took over.

3.) 22 Mar 2019 14:23:42
I remember standing in a queue that snaked from the South Bank turnstiles, down Molineux Alley, round the Waterloo Rd, past the North Bank and back up Molineux Street. You would buy your ticket at the South Bank turnstiles and then pass through the empty ground (was’nt called a stadium back then) . You felt a sense of pride and commitment. You’re a supporter number now. You queue in the comfort of your home.

4.) 22 Mar 2019 18:46:55
I remember the Sherpa Van ticket queue. Miles of happy relaxed fans for days on end!

17 Mar 2019 11:50:53
Like so many of you on here, I was in the Holte End, Vile Park against Arsenal, those years ago. And we all shared that disappointment.

Now, THIS time, we go to the home of football. We fear no one now. Respect, but not fear. We outplayed a top top European team last night, made them look poor.

At half time I said to the fans by me in the South ‘this is our night tonight’
I think I’ll chsnge that to ‘ this is our year’
What a time to be a wolves fan, it’s the stuff of dreams. 🐺🐺.

1.) 17 Mar 2019 14:02:21
Fantastic win, fantastic team performance, fantastic Manager - Nuno of course.! Stunning performance by João Moutinho. Brilliant, just Brilliant. ⚽️😉👍.

2.) 17 Mar 2019 14:17:22
Too true! We outplayed and outthought a team of expensive individuals. What a team we are, and thanks to all at Wolves for a brilliant season. I thought I had seen the best of this club some years ago. Wow!

3.) 17 Mar 2019 21:32:52
For all their passing around our area our back 5 hardly gave them a shot on target meantime our CMs especially Moutinho pushed them hard and how good were our strikers?

10 Mar 2019 18:50:52
Love or hate Lurpack Jack and the Vile. You can’t condone idiots getting on to the playing surface and attacking players. It can’t go on for the sake of the game we all love.
We are fence free in this country, thankfully. These idiots and their actions are ammunition for the do gooders to start thinking about things like fencing. Every decent football fan, that included fans of the Blouse, wants this kind of behaviour stopped, now, before it escalates. Fine him heavily? Jail him? Either or both, and definitely a life time ban from ALL football.

1.) 10 Mar 2019 19:38:38
Agree totally lowwolf, but I will admit to a guilty little chuckle seeing greasy head on the receiving end. That said I hope the prat who ran on is identified and suitably made a laughing stock by the press, hit in the pocket and banned from every ground in the country.

2.) 10 Mar 2019 20:41:34
Personally, I would have abandoned the game and made that idiot compensate all the fans, then ban him for life.

3.) 10 Mar 2019 21:28:31
Agree completely, it happened at Gunners match too fan ran on and pushed smalling.

4.) 10 Mar 2019 22:23:19
Totally agree guys, we cannot have this sort of thing happening and sullying our sport.

5.) 11 Mar 2019 07:11:35
Trouble is how many hundreds of thousand people went to see football at the weekend? And are we to let two idiotic mindless (for whatever reason, alcohol drugs or other, they're not excuses) ruin it? By all means step up security but deal with the prats. Ww don't close the high streets after all the stabbings or punish the shopkeeper station park keepers. Get real and leave the game alone.

6.) 11 Mar 2019 09:01:37
That’s a very good point Abbywolf.
The only difference I can think of, is football could maybe be an easier target?

7.) 11 Mar 2019 09:37:35
Let's no over shadow tht performance against Chelsea I was gutted we got a draw but should we be going to places like tht and nearly winning not really but this team and I mean from the bottom to the top we are finaly bk were we belong so so proud UTW.

8.) 11 Mar 2019 09:40:15
Massive applauds to the fans who went I could hear you from start to Finnish love you all and least we don't have idiot's like some fans.

9.) 11 Mar 2019 09:57:11
There are tv cameras all over football. We see the idiots at work. Sadly people relate more to a football club than an unknown victim and sell papers and fill tv news time. How many incidents occurred in pubs and clubs this weekend that don't get a mention. A idiot runs on the pitch, how many others applauded it in the stand? I admit I chuckled at greaselish getting it. And also grealish ran and jumped into the crowd upon scoring, yellow card, big deal, but wasn't that an act of incitement? Players actions must be scrutinised too. All I'm saying is there is a bit of over reaction in all, and football shouldn't be wholly blamed for what in comparison was a minor kerfuffle.

10.) 11 Mar 2019 11:30:26
I take your point abbywolf but football has had its problems with fan behaviour in the past and the media will blow it out of proportion. There needs to be strong action to show that the sport won't allow us to slip back to the bad old days.

It didn't happen to Grealish or Smalling but the invaders could have had a weapon. Just look at what happened to Monica Seles in tennis a few years ago when she was stabbed on court. It is a serious issue which could have serious consequences.

11.) 11 Mar 2019 12:42:27
Seeing Jack Grealish attacked on the pitch yesterday reminded me of The Doog being set on by an irate Millwall fan on April Fool’s day 1967. this is totally unacceptable and should be stamped on now with firm penalties put in place. However one thing yesterday that confused me was why Grealish was not rolling over in agony as he would have been if a player had accidentally touched his face with one of their fingers. I'm not trying to belittle the incident in any way shape or form but why the different actions?

12.) 11 Mar 2019 12:51:38
Wasn't much of a punch, my mother used to hit me harder than that for not washing behind my ears.

13.) 11 Mar 2019 13:21:08
Mickyboy my son said the same.

30 Jan 2019 10:38:30
Morning all, hope all wolves fans and the Ed’s are keeping well.
Not been on here for a while. Just wondered if it’s time to wake up yet? Can’t believe what I’m watching every game from my seat in the South. Is this the same club so many of us have had so many lows watching? Long may our success continue. We have waited far too long for this.

I went on line to the ticket site, half an hour after they went on sale to ST holders. Waited in the queue for around 8 minutes, then sorted my ticket within 2-3 minutes. By the time I’d put my card in my wallet, my ticket email had arrived in my ‘in box’, I don’t think that’s too bad a service at all.

Didn’t the police originally want the Steve Bull upper closed? After the shrews fans started trouble at their place.
They didn’t want the risk of objects being thrown down.

There’s a piece in the Birmingham mail online about Neves and the Manchester clubs.
He says how happy he is here, how settled, how he feels cherished by the fans. He goes on to say he doesn’t even consider making a move.

We all know he may go in the future, but at least now he’s spoken out himself to say he’s happy to remain a Wolf.

Same here mate, lovely welcome home after a poor day at work. Think a special word for the club too? The way the online ticket sales were handled. Absolutely no problems, not much of a wait either, and now delivered really quickly.
This club is so well organised and managed now.
