See we're being linked with Anderson Talisca again, Β£20m once we are promotedπŸ™.
We will be favs for him ahead of Liverpool because of Uncle Jorge who's his agent.
Just checked his stats since his been playing in Turkey and they are really impressive.
Really exciting if we pull this one off. These will be the type of players needed to compete in the Prem.

In Nuno We Trust. πŸ˜€πŸΊπŸ™.

1.) 23 Feb 2018 20:02:51
Him, Andre Silva, Boly and Telles in the summer please!

2.) 23 Feb 2018 20:22:39
I'm always cynical of big 'names' to promoted teams, let's face it they have nothing to lose (except for a few million pounds wages) .
I'd be much happier with a few Jota, Neves, Cav types. Players that have huge talent, come to prove themselves, do not have the big 'I am' attitude, and have a proper team ethic.
We will see.
One thing is for sure, we are now an attractive proposition.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

3.) 23 Feb 2018 23:41:06
Exeter - I agree with your premise here BUT before dropping down to the Champ I would argue that Jota, Neves and Cav were as big names (if not bigger) than Tallisca! Neves is still the youngest player to wear the Capts armband in the Champs League with Jota and Cav being bought by Athletico and Monaco as 'the next big things'! Tallisca on the other hand was touted round Europe and had only Turkish clubs come in for him! Don't get me wrong I don't doubt he's class and would love us to get him BUT we have already signed 'big' names! we've all just got SO used to it that we (myself included) already take those 'big names' for granted! Just shows how quickly things have changed, happy days! COYW ;)

You know what thought I'd have calmed down now, we're witnessing the best football in my 55 yrs, top of the league by 13 pts, 30,000 gates, best manager since the 50's, on the brink of the Premiership.
So cause people can't find nothing else to find a fault with, I know let's make Afobe a scapegoat who's had two 20 min. appearances.
At the end of the day Afobe knows the score he must start finding the net or he won't be signed.
So for people who hope he fails I really hope Afobe rams it down your throats, and I'll come on here and remind you doubters. 😟😟😟😟😟.

1.) 11 Feb 2018 02:05:00
Totally agree with above post, get behind them all for last 15 games.

2.) 11 Feb 2018 08:10:56
think most folk are realistic when a striker on a reported 80 thousand a week comes on the pitch people expect them to better or at least as good as what we already have he really needs to knuckle down while the other subs started warming up afobe carried on signing autographs in his hat gloves snood and track suit bottoms if he wants to impress nuno and many doubters he needs to get fit and put the ball in the net I am as always fully behind the squad but don't want to see it weakened!

3.) 11 Feb 2018 10:57:22
Afobe needs game time. It's not like flicking a light switch. Everything is a lot faster on the pitch than it appears to the spectator. He has shown that he has the ability but it will take some game time to get him back there.

4.) 11 Feb 2018 14:22:50
Yesterday was the weakness of Nuno philosophy shown in front of a packed Molineux.

First half they started first 10 minutes slow. Then they scored a goal from a cracking ball into the box. Then we played great football and scored another.

The issue was from the start though the two wing backs were pressed by the qpr extra man in midfield or perch for qpr at rwb or Robinson at LWB. Perch was run ragged by Jota and Caveleiro. Which meant he was replaced before half time.

After the break Holloway played a similar formation to wolves. Pressing the wing backs, N’diaye And boly who had caused chaos in the 1st half. This allowed them to win the ball in the wolves half and have more possession in dangerous areas. I think we did the right thing bringing Afobe and Gibbs white on when we did. But maybe we should have changed our formation after the goal was conceded. To 4-5-1 not for the rest of the game but to restore stability and structure in our play. The expansive game is fun until your on the wrong side of the result. UTW.

5.) 11 Feb 2018 15:48:52
But we won so it doesn't matter now. Nuno sends his team out to play the same way every week. It's the opposition that adapts to us not the other way round.

6.) 11 Feb 2018 19:26:43
Fair enough Jaz we got the three points which is all that matters. However we did make 3 goal line clearances it could have easily been a draw or worse. I wasn’t moaning at Nuno philosophy either it is exciting to watch but in the big games coming up it may be worth a thought of how we regain control of possession. As with possession and in shape we are unstoppable. 1 touch passes and goals are the product of this. As highlighted with goals v Sheffield Utd, Leeds, Brentford etc. It was a comment of thought of how we can regain control and possible score more by having the ball. Rather than playing expansive do or die football that nearly cost us points. And as I stated in the previous post we conceded in 51st minute if we had regained control for 10 minutes the game could have been ours in a more reassuring manner. UTW.

7.) 11 Feb 2018 20:49:33
If you know so much in your world of wisdom anewdawn why don't you apply for the job.

8.) 11 Feb 2018 22:34:55
That was uncalled for Wtid - had a bad day?

Anewdawn - good, logical, informed and insightful post IMHO.

9.) 11 Feb 2018 22:51:55
Newcastle lost 10 games last year chill out. its wolves year. he's been here 5 mins when you look at it. its not the wolves of old. right down to the tea lady.

10.) 12 Feb 2018 15:58:40
That is a very valid point anew and one which had dawned on me, simply put we won't be given the kind of room that our expansive game has enjoyed next year! A high press is all the rage these days and when you watch Huddersfield this wkend pressing Bournemouth into submission it doesn't take a genius to see that we are going to need a plan B. In fact when you look at it historically most teams that have played quality expansive footy in the Champ have often come undone when taking that to the Prem and no one here wants that to be us! I'm not sure what the answer is if honest although I trust Nuno to work it out. Maybe some kind of 4-5-1 for away/ big matches which allows us to flood the midfield?! Time will tell COYW :)

11.) 12 Feb 2018 17:29:55
Think peeps do need to calm down a little, at what point did having an opinion on a player constitute wanting them to fail or not backing the team for that matter?! Like many on here I back my team most weeks when I make a long round trip and spend good money to watch them play, will always support any player that's wearing the colours provided they are giving there all for the team!
Yes its great to be winning hell its a great time to be a Wolves fan! But if just cause we are winning people can't have opinions on players then this forum will get awful quiet for the next few months! For what its worth I thought Ruddy had a poor game at the weekend as well, doesn't mean I want him to fail simply means the guy himself has set higher standards that's all! Relax people, we don't all have to agree that's what makes this fun! COYW ;)

31 Jan 2018 23:03:15
Its now 10.59pm, SkySports saying Afobe to Wolves to be confirmed but could go to the wireπŸ˜€πŸ€žπŸ™.

Happy days welcome back benik - it’s magic you know!
Just the push we needed to see us over the line πŸ‘.

11.) 01 Feb 2018 02:33:35
Well Ben 10 is back in the pack as it says.
This now at least gives us striking options, a plan B and gives Leo support up front as well as the young kids.
Afobe will give us the extra firepower needed to get us well over the line, and I for one will support him 100%. he’s in the Wolves family now.
Good bit of business to take us to the Premier
BTW bye bye BoggiesπŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹.

12.) 01 Feb 2018 02:42:07

13.) 01 Feb 2018 08:07:03
I'm pleased we got him back end of the day he is a goalscorer and that's what we need a t the moment it's win win for us if he puts it in scores goals he might get a contract for longer he has a bit of making up to do which he will a couple on Saturday if picked will be a start
Welcome back to the pack.

31 Jan 2018 19:38:27
If you go to Afobes instagram page he's put a message just sayin "Lord Knows"interestly though in Gold and Black. HmmmmmmmπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ™.

1.) 31 Jan 2018 19:55:13
We should message Bendtner then.

2.) 31 Jan 2018 21:12:33

3.) 31 Jan 2018 21:21:08
Oh yes it was!

4.) 31 Jan 2018 21:29:06
I hope no striker and no Doherty cover won't bite us in the arse.

5.) 31 Jan 2018 22:24:06
That young Portuguese kid who’s Just signed for us looks well happy in the photo to have signed for us. Reminiscent of the Aaron Lennon signing for Everton photo. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

27 Jan 2018 14:29:50
Mikey Burrows saying Nuno and Thellwell trying desperately to get players in before end of deadline. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ™.

See old potatoeheads at it again today.
Sayin "Wolves ain't over the line yet and can still be caught".
God hope they lose today, we win and stuff em at their place.

GodBless AllπŸ˜€πŸΊπŸ™.

23 Feb 2018 22:10:37
Sheff Utd have really imploded, can't believe a matter of weeks ago their fans were saying we're comin for you WolvesπŸ˜€.
Got to say in fairness their manager was very gracious in defeat at the Mol. the other week.
Wouldn't of minded them winning tonight to put pressure on the Vile.
Still suppose Hull winning puts pressure on the Bluenoses.

Up The Wolves. πŸ˜€πŸΊπŸ™.

1.) 24 Feb 2018 07:31:23
Think if the blues lose at home today agaisnt fellow strugglers barnsley they will be in serious danger of relegation. main reason for me to prefer villa to get promotion along with us is that we will have a local derby and 4me 6points in the prem off the villa as we have the upper hand over them, their fans are 60/ 70% glory hunters and have minium passion compared to us wolves fans who are full of passion.

22 Feb 2018 07:40:38
Think we need another week in Spain because that was awful 2nd half last night.
Agree about Ruddy not good enough.

1.) 22 Feb 2018 15:22:15
I was thinking the same. We came back fresh for a couple of games, and enjoyed that Neves goal, but we look jaded again. Just like I feel a few days back after a holiday.

21 Feb 2018 17:20:16
Have you heard,
The Cab four were called into Alan Pardews office, and told that due to their misconduct they have been sacked and released from their contracts and will never play for albion again.
Five minutes later there was a knock at the door, it was eight other players admitting they had been in the back seat of the taxi. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

GodBless COYW. πŸ˜€πŸ™.

1.) 21 Feb 2018 18:57:30
Nice one Dave!

2.) 21 Feb 2018 19:37:57
Haha I didn't see that coming.

16 Feb 2018 18:49:57
Now Pardew (Micheal Gove) has just said in interview he fears for his jobπŸ˜€.
Now don't forget all those going to Preston tomorrow what to sing.

Boggies Boggies fallin apart again πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

1.) 16 Feb 2018 20:51:40
With their senior professionals nicking taxis what chance do they have. Relegation beckons, Pardew was a disasterous appointment as I said at the time. Second best news I have heard in some time. Best of course is 12 point lead with 15 games to go. Come on let's see Preston off!

2.) 17 Feb 2018 13:02:23
Pardew is doing an absolutely sterling job'top notch, long may it continueπŸ‘ UTW.

3.) 17 Feb 2018 13:27:28
Poor old Pardew, seems to make enemies wherever he goes, even managed to get Dover Athletic supporters backs up after 3rd round tie with Palace.

Well said Wolvessay, I came out the ground dispondant last night, but let's all step back and look what this great club has achieved this season, let's remember most of our players ain't used to playing 46 games plus cup games.
The club need us now more than ever, no doubt there will be further losses, but no way will Nuno let this slip now, forget 2nd we're 13 pts clear of 3rd.

GodBless πŸ˜€πŸΊπŸ™.

Have faith Perton got a sneaky feeling we'll get something at Fulham.
Our home games,
Reading 3pts.
Burton 3pts.
Blues 3pts.
Derby 3 pts.
Sheff Wed 3pts.
Sure there is one I've missed, but the home games alone should nearly be enough.
In hindsight that point last night wasn't too bad, Norwich are no mugs.

Was man of the match for me even though he only played 30mins.
Deserves a start saturday.
Sorry think Ruddy needs dropping too many errors, distribution awful.
We've seen Will Norris in the cup games and looks class.

Billy looks like I've got to eat my words. Afobe looks a shadow of the player he was.
As for Ruddy he needs dropping, I've got no confidence in him, shouldn't have been beat for equalizer, also his distribution is awful.
Time for Will Norris.

Congrats to Rochdale.
