Jez Moxey is in London presenting the buisness plan as proof of funding. Telegraph carrying story in on wolvesnews now.

1.) 12 Jul 2016 18:21:07
But they also say:
"Wolves expect a deal to go through within the next three weeks, though it could be completed sooner if negotiations go smoothly. "

2.) 12 Jul 2016 18:24:31
Yes saw this about 30 minutes ago. Interesting read and confirmed only one buyer, onthe down side Moxey and Therwell look like they stay.

3.) 12 Jul 2016 18:26:07
Yeh I've seen the telegraph website it says it going to take 3 weeks till takeover complete and seen pictures of moxey on a train on express and star website.

4.) 12 Jul 2016 18:28:33
Funny they was saying the deal was completed yesterday at 4pm Mail online says another 3 weeks before confirmation, think i'll wait till I see it in black and white rather than getting carried away with all these rumours, seems most of em are just a waste of time.

5.) 12 Jul 2016 18:30:58
Just read the article Stu. Also makes out that fat Moxey is definitely staying 😒 and it will be completed within 3 weeks! . I'll go insane having to wait 3 more weeks lol.

6.) 12 Jul 2016 18:36:47
The Telegraph also says that Moxey is to remain as CEO if the takeover goes ahead. Further stating that his position would have been under grave threat if the rival bidders had been successful.

Can you believe it Moxey has done it again, he is the master of self preservation.

Jackett to loose his job. Jackett is a decent dignified guy who has done well for Wolves. The first two seasons he built a good team out of nothing and they played attractive football. Last year was different. Yes he made mistakes, but he was operating under many restrictions and the injury list had a huge affect. In my view the fans should thank him and wish him well if he does go.

7.) 12 Jul 2016 18:41:43
The press r guessin a time scale, probably end up bein this week. Hopefully anyway.

8.) 12 Jul 2016 18:48:14
I can't wait no more, I've got a headache, my eyes are burning and I'm moody as hell, I can't even speak to the wife. Right now I don't even care about Poxey-Moxey as long as the deal is done this week and announced.

Not too bothered about Powell - might have been good now and again, bit of a crock and there's no space for another one in the medical room.

9.) 12 Jul 2016 19:08:52
Listen to Paul Tamworth, the realist will confirm this when he comes on. Forget 3 weeks.

10.) 12 Jul 2016 19:19:07
It said may take up to 3 weeks.
May is as they don't no. Only the club.

11.) 12 Jul 2016 19:21:05
Quite clear from the Telegraph Interesting.

12.) 12 Jul 2016 19:26:26
Quite clear in Telegraph that the Deal is well advanced. Interesting there was a bidding war. the Scouse Scally does it again!
Can't believe Thelwell advising on players. and staying!
I think we are closer than 3 weeks to the details being announced.
Let's hope what we hear is exciting!

13.) 12 Jul 2016 20:17:24
lol, maybe this is what those mysterious extreme sale conditions of Steve Morgans were that we kept hearing rumours about? The buyers had to say they believed and agreed with Steve Morgan when he said.

- both Moxey and Thelwell are the best in the business and should stay.
- that the clubs executive pie (or in the case of Chinese buyers) dumplings budget was sacred and couldn't be cut.
- that the Preston carpark incident really happened.

It sounds like there were 2 potential buyers, maybe the others agreed to believe Steve Morgan about almost everything, but just couldn't keep a straight face over Moxey so they got booted? Maybe it was Bill Gates?

The FA has reportedly given the greenlight to Chinese billionaire Robin Li's takeover of Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to reports on social media, paperwork on the deal - which will see Li buy out current owner Steve Morgan for a figure believed to be between £40m and £60m - was completed on Monday afternoon.

The club is said to be planning to formally announce the takeover on Tuesday, ten months after Morgan decided to put the side up for sale.

Li's estimated fortune of £10.6 billion would make Wolves the English side with the second wealthiest full owner, behind only Premier League heavyweights Manchester City.

Rumours have suggested that Li's first act as owner will be to replace manager Kenny Jackett with former Porto boss Julen Lopetegui.

1.) 12 Jul 2016 08:12:42
Someone just said moxey going to London today so doubt there will be an announcement.

2.) 12 Jul 2016 08:21:12
Does Moxey need to be there, didn't Morgan put someone else in the job of brokering the deal.

3.) 12 Jul 2016 08:37:33
Dantheman is right, he even took photos of Moxey on the train haha. Although it doesn't need Moxey to announce the takeover. Surely it would be Morgan and Li?

4.) 12 Jul 2016 09:12:46
Thought QPR were second richest club there owner worth $14 billion.

5.) 12 Jul 2016 10:05:49
Supernoodle Mittal of qpr is only a part owner I believe 33% which is why would make us 2nd richest in terms of full ownership.

6.) 12 Jul 2016 10:19:30
Hednesford, that was St Paul who said that not me :)

7.) 12 Jul 2016 10:21:16
Poxey off to London to be interviewed for vacant England Managers job.

The @FA has all the documentation from the potential @OfficialWolves buyers. Early next week they should get permission to reach nex.

1.) 08 Jul 2016 11:56:16
I just read it too, the only thing is it takes us nearer to the start of the new season and basically we are stuck in limbo re new players being bought in unless there is going to be like 6 new signings in one day which I doubt very much, it looks like it's going to be a very droll first half of the season until the January transfer window opens when maybe we can get some players in to make a push for the play offs.

2.) 08 Jul 2016 11:56:19
Fantastic bring it on.

3.) 08 Jul 2016 11:57:48

Yes yes yes - bring it on 😃.

7.) 08 Jul 2016 12:04:41
Longest wait will be for David Clarke and all the other ITK cuckoo's nest supporters to say they got it wrong,

8.) 08 Jul 2016 12:07:59
Thank you Mr balague always on the money with news. happy days are coming. Wolves forever.

9.) 08 Jul 2016 12:10:42

21.) 08 Jul 2016 12:47:05
mo-LI-neux, saved from the darkness.

22.) 08 Jul 2016 12:48:58
This is just ace, as Mr. I. T. Robin Li is the perfect buyer to capitalise on our brand identity, heritage, and potential, it could be so good for the town and region, not just the club :-) He could make us massive but real and with credibility, properly heroic and supportable, with massive reach.

And who cares when it's done, as long as it is, because it will be a long term project, growing steady for something real and permanent (maybe like Man City did, took a while before they were sorted and properly on the up) . And we may not need the transfer market much, we may get loan players off AC Milan to get round FFP. This season just relief and stuff to look forward to, settling in, reckon season after will be the flyer.

23.) 08 Jul 2016 12:49:01
what is the next level told beetroot face was asking 50 million.

24.) 08 Jul 2016 12:50:54

Do you think he will be kept on to assist with
We are going to be late entering the transfer market so we need to act fast.
unless we are buying all foreign players I think we need somebody who can make moves within the UK market at least until the new regime adapts.

Looking forward to us competing with the so called big CHampiknship clubs for players😀.

35.) 08 Jul 2016 14:18:37

I seriously hope he is one of the first to be shown the exit door.

41.) 08 Jul 2016 14:40:07
That's great news for every wolves fan and for all those having a dig it was information passed by an agent. He said the deal was agreed but moxey was trying to get a counte deal in place. Never likely. I think that the Chinese investment will be huge and we will be heading to the premier league with 2 seasons at most.

Come on you wolves.

42.) 08 Jul 2016 14:42:26

55.) 09 Jul 2016 10:18:03
KARLIS - That was the comment underneath mine, you MORON! I commented about Sako.

05 Jun 2016 08:48:10
This looks quite worrying when the player's family are saying these sorts of things. This is what happened with Afobe, his mum and dad were telling us Months before he went that he would be leaving.

1.) 06 Jun 2016 11:12:01
Stu if we get 7+M for him take it he may not be the finished artical yet but he isn't going to be our saviour either. Very ordinary player in my opinion.

I want start a petition for the new owners.

Get Bastian Schweinsteiger in, he's the man to play alongside Price, and Teixira.

My number one target.

I dare to dream.

{Ed033's Note - Well, A Schweinsteiger voting poll has been created on this site to see whether Wolves fans want to pay for him at any price.

1.) 07 Aug 2016 17:08:33
Price is a headless chicken my mate.

2.) 07 Aug 2016 17:44:46
I'm voting YES in support of Stu and some German grit.

I wonder how Siggy would have turned out if he'd been coached by Zenga rather than all of Kenny's cold treatment? Glad we still have a Viking though, they like wolves, Germans do too, and Italians (Romans) .

We should only be buying wolves for our pack, people with fire like Zenga who refuse to lose :-)

3.) 07 Aug 2016 18:05:09
All-day, but we can dream I suppose.

23 Jul 2016 12:48:57
Stuart Alves I feel a right Smug bathplug after reading this above. I was a poster that stated Wolves were being bought and the announcement was to have been made on the Thursday. As it transpired it wasn't the Thursday stated by me and so I came on the site and ate humble pie. This piece by the Spanish guy nails down everything I said was true, Robin Li is involved. A board clearout was to take place, Moron and Poxey were being replaced, a war chest would be made available, The Spanish guy was involved and the only thing I need to see are the players being announced on Monday. But, I am truly not on here to gloat. Only to say, my contact told me the reason it did not take place last Thursday was Morgan was not releasing the Compton training facility and was haggling, he wanted to lease it out thus still having an income from it. The Spanish coach states above Red tape fecked up his appointment. Steve Morgan your legacy is rubbish mate. Shut the feckin door when you leave you douchebag. Well rid.

1.) 23 Jul 2016 12:57:52
You called it spot on mate and thank you for the heads up.

2.) 23 Jul 2016 13:02:53
Stu anything off your source who new boss will be? Pellegrini name has come up today?

3.) 23 Jul 2016 13:07:25
Well said Stu, you could guarantee he would try something back handed he just has to.
He did the same when trying to buy Liverpool, at the very last minute he tried to half the price down and they called his bluff and he was told in no uncertain terms to go do one.
Good riddance.

4.) 23 Jul 2016 13:13:01
There’s been so much said one here I haven’t got a clue who said what. All I know is that Ulf must be confused what to do now if Robin Li is involved along with Fosun. Does he continue to support Wolves or not?

5.) 23 Jul 2016 13:34:05
No offence but the facts as we know them are, Li not involves, Lopetigui not the manager, no multi million players waiting in the wings. Everything else is just conjecture.
Then we get 'heard Pellegrini mentioned'. By who? Somebody else on here with a wish list, then others join in with the bs.
Lets see what monday brings or somebody come up with facts.

6.) 23 Jul 2016 14:17:00
Nice to speculate Poz! Stop bein a miserable F---er and don't read this board till mon afternoon then! Simples.

7.) 23 Jul 2016 15:24:51
P. T, i'm waiting mate and I enjoy the speculation but for christ sake folks stating, 'theres 3 groups, 1 chinese, 1 english and the other i'm not sure about' thus covering every possible base and as s result being put up as in the know, just amuses me. Speculate, but don't pretend the fact you know someone in the club shop puts you itk. Looking forward to a bit of excitement next week. (my source says that monday will probably come after sunday but definitely before tuesday)

8.) 23 Jul 2016 18:09:59
The next cat past molineux will be black, white or another colour according to my source.
See I was right.,

9.) 23 Jul 2016 18:14:14

Well said matey.

20 Jul 2016 21:12:12
Taken from the Standard Hong Kong 2 minutes ago

Wolverhampton Wanderers is set to become another English football club sold to a Chinese company.
Fosun International, a conglomerate with investments around the world including in Thomas Cook, is reportedly close to completing the takeover of the Championship club known as Wolves for 45 million (HK$459 million), according to The Telegraph in London.

Jorge Mendes, a so-called "super agent" with clients including fellow Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, a star player with Real Madrid, and new Manchester United Jose Mourinho, is thought to be involved in the takeover.

Aston Villa, another famous club from the English Midlands and relegated at the end of last season from the Premier League to the Championship, was sold earlier this week to another Chinese conglomerate, Recon Group, for 76.5 million.

1.) 20 Jul 2016 22:11:28
Just a word for word copy of The Telegraph article. Nothing new here. I'm still hoping they're putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, just researching Mendes links rather than any real information. I still hope it R Li buying us, but like others have said we desperately need investment, so i'm not going to despair if its the Forsan group. Clinging to the fact that the Spanish journo who started all this appears to be right about 2 out of three (manager, players/ agent) so why are we doubting the third, Li?

2.) 20 Jul 2016 22:26:25
But stuwolf, at the end of the day the Kong Kong article is just reporting on the telegraph article. Two weeks ago all the news and subsequent fever was baded upon del Marco and balange or whatever. The telegraph is probably based upon the Portugal story. There's only one story, the one where an announcement is actually made.

3.) 20 Jul 2016 22:44:12
Yes guys I agree it is just repeated info We already have.

I put the significance in the report going out in China, it excites me, no more.

Too many kicks in the botox of late, I'll get excited when I see it from Wolves.

12 Jul 2016 16:57:36
Expect an announcement from the realist very soon.

1.) 12 Jul 2016 17:55:55
Moxey is safe, deal 2/ 3 weeks away.
Moxey is safe, can you believe it.

RIP Muhammad Ali the Greatest boxer and Athlete ever. You were my hero and will always be a legend.

1.) 04 Jun 2016 10:58:09
He was good, but no better than Cassius Clay.

2.) 04 Jun 2016 12:32:43
Wonderful boxer but I wouldn't say the greatest. RIP.

3.) 04 Jun 2016 13:23:41
Ali was good but not better than Marciano who had a 100% win rate (49/ 49) with 46 knockouts.

4.) 04 Jun 2016 17:00:48
Ali was the greatest heavyweight boxer of his era just as Marciano was. But most experts agree that this was the greatest era ever of heavyweight boxers. More importantly he was a great man and like Stu he was a hero to me.

5.) 04 Jun 2016 17:41:25
Irrespective of generations or what was to follow, Muhammad Ali was and always will be "The Greatest". For was it not for Muhammad Ali, chances are none of the succeeded heavyweight champions would've considered taking up the sport. Ali put boxing on the map on an international scale as well as made it socially respectable. Ali broadcast prejudice, racism and the flaws of warfare to an international audience. He is an inspiration for the generations that followed him, who - in my opinion - will still never reach the scale of brilliance he did. Ali was more than a fighter in the ring - he was a fighter of justice; truly the peoples' champion. Another reason he'll always be "The Greatest" is because of his character. Quite simply unmatched for his humour and wit plus his ability to irritate the media and opponents without ever losing his own credibility. To see the performances choreographed by shameless corporations today in boxing is embarrassing in contrast to Ali's raw spirit and emotion. R. I. P

I love Wolves fans, 2000 travel to Huddersfield with me, 400 in the bar, before, during, and after the game WTF that makes it an expesive feckin piss up.
Then you come on here and read Wolves have no ambition. when was the last time we saw 9 players brought it during a transfer period (and it's not shut yet) .
There are a few wind up merchants on here that are spoiling a potentially good site.
You know who you are,
You know who you are,
Your'e talking such bollox,
You know who you are. 👍😎👍
Get behind the feckin team, we didn't get beat yesterday we allowed ourselves to get beat. RVLP was crap End of. He got a silly rebound off the post, our's off the post rebounded and trickled out for a throw in, Some days just don't go right.
Message to the old team.
The king is dead.
Long live the king.
