34.7M bid rejected for Andre Silva apparently and going back with another offer. Love it.

1.) 09 Jan 2018 17:09:48
Is someone going to wake me up and tell me its just a dream.
If this is true then I think Fosun mean buissness. 😀😀😀.

2.) 09 Jan 2018 17:48:48
Are you sure. Only English team linked with him are Everton. Arsenal were also linked a few months ago.

3.) 09 Jan 2018 17:55:38
I think they've only linked him to Wolves as his agent is none other than Jorge Mendes. A bid has been submitted by an undisclosed English team but it seems the press have put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5. The club in question is Everton.

4.) 09 Jan 2018 18:14:17
BOO, that's brought me back down to earth Jas😣😣😣.

5.) 09 Jan 2018 18:20:26
If I was sure I would earn a lot more money than I do right now. all I can say is that a lot of people are stating this is the case. Not just random Italian media but Ladbrokes, Coral. etc. I don't think Everton being linked for days then everyone mistaking it for a Wolves bid is very likely.

6.) 09 Jan 2018 18:26:04
They have said a bid has been submitted to the by a chinese owner so people are just going straight to wolves.

7.) 09 Jan 2018 18:31:24
It’s not Everton as they’ve just spent £24m on that Turkish striker no-one has ever heard of. The club in question IS Wolves. Some people seem to just love pouring cold water on everything just like some did on here before Neves signed. Remember them? “It’s not going to happen”, “it’s just media speculation”, “he’d never come to a Championships club”. Remember? OODCL.

8.) 09 Jan 2018 18:41:23
I don't think it will happen silva only signed for ac Milan 6 months ago then again every man has his price.

9.) 09 Jan 2018 18:43:34
He doesn’t look all that to be honest . Definitely not worth 40m by looking at his stats and video on you tube. No end product. Still, hoping to be proved wrong.

10.) 09 Jan 2018 18:44:42
Being reported in Portugal now, mmmm.

11.) 09 Jan 2018 18:49:48
If you google it, lots of sites reporting Wolves have offered 34.7 million for Silva and are going to make another offer. Silva hasn't settled well in Milan.

12.) 09 Jan 2018 19:32:55
Bloody exp shyted a bit harsh his stats at Porto are good and he looks a step up in skills from his videos on YouTube. The Milan fans still support him as they have saw flashes of brilliance. But Milan are in financial woes and look in a really bad state if they miss out on champion league nand cat season as they are 12 points off at the minute. The key thing here is he would be playing with his friends from Porto Neves, Jota and boly. And knows Neves and Jota are in and around Portugal squad before World Cup.

13.) 09 Jan 2018 19:33:22
Das, I'm not trying to be negative but this morning it was reported that Everton were readying a £40m bid for Silva and a piece by Allardyce saying he wanted another striker on top of the one they just bought. If we do sign him then I'll be over the moon.

14.) 09 Jan 2018 19:44:35
Would be stunning and love it to be true. There are two other angles to consider. This could well convince the likes of Boly to sign and could also deflect attention from our real target. Mendez is a shrewd operator.

15.) 09 Jan 2018 19:52:02
Lewis grabban or Andre silva 🤔.

16.) 09 Jan 2018 20:18:20
Milan r in financial trouble they may need to sell.

17.) 09 Jan 2018 20:41:25
Anewdawn, I’m willing to be proved wrong but wouldn’t want to lose out on Jota and Boly for him. Just didn’t wow me that’s all. Rafa Silva, now you’re talking!

18.) 09 Jan 2018 22:21:11
Understandable Shyted. I think deals like this may be needed for some players to commit. Not saying Andre is the be all or end all. But he does connect a lot of issues the team face going forward into the prem.

1) given his chance at Porto by Nuno
2) played with Neves, Jota and boly at Porto.
3) Next standard up in terms of overall game. His assists look high on his video. And he looks quick- which would be beneficial in prem.
4) scoring rate solid at Porto
5) still young has sell on value

But Rafa Silva is a good player as well. The issue I have is if we buy say two more forwards how are we going to keep squad happy. Or are we going for cup as well?!?!

Certainly better than hearing Grabban, Keane are close to signing. OODCL.

19.) 09 Jan 2018 22:42:53
Tim Spiers Twitter saying it ain't happening.

28 Dec 2017 09:21:18
Apparently we have been quoted £10.7M for Boly. Was expecting something closer to £5M.

Mutiny

1.) 28 Dec 2017 09:56:22
He's worth it pay it straight away.

2.) 28 Dec 2017 10:26:40
still worth it.

3.) 28 Dec 2017 11:05:40
Well worth the money van dijk gone for 75 million.
Boly in Premier League will hold is own, trust me.

4.) 28 Dec 2017 12:31:22
boly worth about 15mil easy imo best player we have bought in by far last years shaky defence now one of the best quality comes at a price and 10 mil nowadays is cheap!

5.) 28 Dec 2017 12:36:50
I thought that was pretty reasonable, he's brilliant!

6.) 28 Dec 2017 13:46:52
The price will be whatever was previously negotiated on the loan as it was originally with fee agreed. I also wouldn’t be surprised if that 10.7 is in Euros (not that it makes much difference mind) . Either way have to echo others…if he wants to come then just pay it because he’s a steal at that, also agree that for me he’s one of the best we’ve bought in. Comfortably a Prem class CB and you don’t get many of them willing to sign for Champ clubs or for less than £15m come to that!

7.) 28 Dec 2017 14:33:12
Agree Boly is definately a premier player sighn him up bargain for 10 million.

8.) 28 Dec 2017 14:53:32
Agree with all to buy, but I do feel like we are being taken for a ride. Porto paid around 5M for him then he had a season on the bench unable to break the first team and now they want double. His buyout deal on Football manager is £6M which I thought was realistic. Also have to remember we probably already paid 1/ 2M in loan fee.

9.) 28 Dec 2017 14:55:25
This is the full article: Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly been quoted a fee of around £10.7m for the permanent signing of Porto defender Willy Boly.

The 26-year-old has impressed for Wolves since joining on loan in the summer, his 16 appearances yielding 10 clean sheets for the Championship leaders.

Boly cost Porto €6.5m (£5.8m) from Braga in the summer of 2016, but has made just five appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese giants.

According to O Jogo, the defender's parent club has quoted Wolves €12m should the West Midlanders wish to recruit the Frenchman on a permanent basis.

10.) 28 Dec 2017 15:23:40
Worth every penny. Snap him up.

11.) 28 Dec 2017 16:19:50
My guess would be that it’s Boly not wanting to commit until prem football is guaranteed.

He was unwilling to at first and had to be persuaded by his parent club and Nuno to come and drop down.

I would think once we are guaranteed to go up then the player will agree to the terms and the sale will then go through.

12.) 28 Dec 2017 20:26:22
Any news on cav and holy lnjuries.

13.) 28 Dec 2017 22:47:48
Mutiny- interesting that you refer to FM because similarly I notice that on there we have an ‘agreed fee’ for Jota of £18m whilst his min release in his Spanish contract is in fact around £10m. Now they are hardly the gospel mind but equally they get there stats through Opta which suggests things like release fee’s would be pretty close. Problem when relying on FM (and clearly I spend more time on it than I should myself;) is that the game NEVER can take how real life works into account.
Take the Jota deal imagine his release fee is £10m so we say when first going for him that fee will be the fixed fee for the loan…. fine. But not really because in REAL life Athletico can just turn round and say well actually we were just about to give him a new contract which puts his release fee up to £18m. Well of course the player would sign it, as it means a pay rise…. so Athletico turn round to us and affectively say…. if you don’t agree the higher fee we go that way and then you are also stuck paying an extra £10k a week on the loan bill too boot…your call?! I love the game and its great as a rough guide but they will never get the nuisances down on the way the game REALLY works because computers just aren’t greedy enough or brazen enough!

14.) 29 Dec 2017 15:05:03
Boly and Cav both available for tomorrow 😁.

15.) 29 Dec 2017 22:14:05
if vandyk is worth 70mil boly 15mil he is a bargain a better player just my opinion

Les Buxton Wolf.

07 Dec 2017 07:21:24
According to Tim Spiers we are signing Jota and Bonatini in Jan +20M made available for a striker and right wing back. Chris Martin mentioned as a target (surely can do better) . seems like a lot of info out of the blue, not sure how much I believe it but there you go.

Mutiny

1.) 09 Dec 2017 22:23:31
Chris Martin? If you got your Christmas presents at Harrods, purchased your Christmas dinner at Fortnum and Masons then why buy some cheap plonk from the corner shop to toast Her Majesty on Christmas Day?

2.) 10 Dec 2017 21:02:55
If we can, it has to be Jorgensen of Feyenoord. A class act and renowned scorer.
No Martin or Afobe please. we must not be taking backward steps.

10 Nov 2017 18:14:02
Latest link with Portugal;

"Joao Carvalho is on "stand by" to make the switch to Molineux, either on a temporary or permanent basis. "

Apparently one of Mendes's minions is in England to sort out the deal. Benfica B team player, 20.

Looks like he plays a Number 10 role for them but would be perfectly fine either side of the front three from the videos I saw, he cuts in a lot and seems to be as strong with both feet, has a lot of Costa about him or Graham. if Graham could find something to do after he skins everyone with his fancy footwork.

Mutiny

1.) 10 Nov 2017 19:53:42
Also linked with Tiquino Soures again hope this is true. 😁😁👍👍.

Bright, minus the finishing was incredible today. If he can get that final puzzle piece soon I think he might even outshine our big names in the first team right now. So proud of all the lads and Nuno.

I have 3 tickets to the Wolves v Ajax game (seats in a row) but I can't go anymore. Paid about £25, anyone want them for £10? Then at least I get the Wolves TV and a pack of beers! :)

Give me a shout if interested, the tickets are to collect so I can just send you the confirmation email.

If I was going to make some cheeky (yet pretty realistic) bids for players at English clubs this year this would be my shortlist.

GK Pope - Burnley

Heaton back fit, club captain, he won't sit on the bench and neither will Pope now he has had a taste for it. If we could fix his distribution out I think we would have the best English goal keeper around. At worst we ruffle some feathers in the opposition camp.

DCM Doucoure - Watford

Saiss with a good shot, better passing and just an upgrade over all. Endless determination and drive. Would make one hell of a partner for Neves.

ST Arnautovic - Westham

No nonsense, strong and passionate center forward. He would like our passing to feet and would give the hold up play we will need next year.

DCM Ronaldo Vieira - Leeds

Doesn't seem that valued by current Leeds staff but this kid is going places. 19 years old and a formidable defensive midfielder, he would be somewhat of a project for the future but I think Nuno could mold him into something special.

Are we not going to mention the fact Jota was punched in the face off the ball? Hope the QPR player gets a 6 game ban, it's not like the FA can ignore it, there's videos on YouTube clearly showing it happening.

Mutiny

1.) 11 Feb 2018 17:37:45
Totally agree we saw it and jota was flat on his back from a blatant punch. In fairness to the ref he was watching the ball as it had been cleared into our half and I think a chance came from it. We should have had penalty for it but they nearly scored. Thought I'd maybe seen something that wasn't there as no-one else mentioned it. We sit North bank end of the Billy Wright and saw it so what was linesman doing?

17 Jan 2018 21:52:26
I was hoping what I heard from Valencia fans wasn't true but looks that way. "He is very strong, good finish but slow as a brick and a first touch to match. ". As I said before I think Mir will be an option to bring something new (basically just height) but unless he sorts out his footwork I think Nuno might strangle him soon haha.

Mutiny

1.) 18 Jan 2018 00:28:37
No disrespect to Leo and Mir but we definitely don't have the strikers to impact, or even survive, in Premiership. I'm sure Nuno and co will sort it.

15 Jan 2018 18:45:10
Guys I need a bit of advise. I'm coming down to watch the Sheffield game. Been a while since I have been to a home game (live in leeds now) . The only tickets available are in the stan cullis lower or upper, in the corner by the away fans. Which bit is best to get a seat in? Not too fussed about banter with away fans etc as I might be bringing my Grandad, just want a decent view!

Mutiny

1.) 15 Jan 2018 19:00:50
Mutiny,
100% the upper Stan Cullis. I have to move there from the best view at the ground (Stan Cullis upper directly behind the goals) when my Granddaughter comes up for a game.
The view is terrific and your nowhere neat the away fans.

Enjoy.

2.) 15 Jan 2018 19:07:08
upper tier is a good view but lots of steps up lower tier is also a good view.

3.) 15 Jan 2018 19:19:52
Cheers guys! I'll see if I can get a upper stand with a lowish down seat so my granddads knees don't give up!

4.) 15 Jan 2018 21:01:27
As you go through the turnstiles there is a lift, just ask the stewards, my missus has your Grandad’s knees and we use it when in there.

5.) 15 Jan 2018 22:05:35
Cheers Stu! Hopefully we can get a win. He is a Walsall fan but follows Wolves, we went to the pub to watch the Wolves v Villa game and he said we looked like Real Madrid, be nice if we can put out that sort of performance again.

6.) 16 Jan 2018 00:20:24
Mutiny there is a lift which your dad can use its the Waterloo Rd side of the Stan Cullis stand.
Just go down the side and you will see people being scanned in.

7.) 16 Jan 2018 10:11:00
Derby, that’s the one we use too, 👍 but there definitely is one at the Quadrant end as well.

8.) 16 Jan 2018 18:18:00
Yes its the one I use but didn't realise there was one at the other end.
Many thanks Stu.

In an interview Tim Nash said that Zinchenko wanted to see where he stood with city first, so Nuno told him to go back and have a think, if he wasn’t sure after that then not to bother coming back and we will move on. I like to think this is the truth of the matter.

Seen a lot of people saying "free from sporting", my view is the players can ask to leave for free but the club can just say "you signed a contract". I'd place money on none of the team leaving for free.

I’m sure we will be shot down Exeterwolf but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Costa went back to Benfica for 6M or there abouts. He was a shining star in a squad of garbage, he had so much heart and fire but not no more, he isn’t young and as much as I love him he isn’t a premier league player. He needs some fight and clinical finishing. Nuno will know we won’t get many chances next year and people would feel way more confident if they were falling to Cav or Jota. Codta is definitely one who is on the improve or be sold list. I would imagine Saiss and Ruddy are also on that list. Below that list I think Bright, Ronan, Miranda, Batth, Vinagre, Afobe, Marshall, Zyro, prince who?, Bonatini, Hause are all up for the chop. No rot, we are going for top 10. No time for sentiment, let’s hire 20 more Willy Boly’s!

Trying not to be negative but he just looks like an ok player doing ok in a rubbish league. If Nuno wants him then who am I to question but I hope it’s not a club buy an Nuno is being landed with him. Looks half the player Costa is and I have doubts about Costa’s contribution in the premier league. Nuno always says a new player has to bring something new and this kid is just a tricky winger, we have Cav and Costa who are better at that so it all seems odd.

Until you are in the prem you can't claim to be a master of it. Man City alone have more world class attackers than are in the entire championship. let's enjoy today but not get crazy! Coady, Boly, Neves, Jota are the only names I'd be willing to bet on even making it in the prem. let's strengthen and stay up a year before we start asking for england caps! :)

I don’t think Leo is the pick v Cardiff, him and Costa are the most vulnerable to Cardiff’s bully boy tactics by far. I’d go Jota, Afobe, Cav.
