Just been listening to talk sport and they're reporting that Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) is available for between £7-£10 million. Would take him all day long! A few stumbling blocks though for me

1- would he drop down to the championship for possibly 6 months?
2- would we pay his wages which are probably in the region of £100k-£140k per month?

If we could get over these issues there's no doubt he would bang a load of goals in for us, particularly having 2 of Jota, Cav or Costa supplying the ammunition. I for one would give my right arm to have Wolves snap him up!

1.) 11 Jan 2018 12:32:14
Not for me as lost his edge, like ulloa from Leicester as doesn't get a look in.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 14:57:00

I wouldn’t go as far to say that he’s lost it. Granted he hasn’t pulled up any trees in the 1st half if this season but I put that down to playing in a struggling team who play hoof football which doesn't suit him whatsoever. He was playing well last season scoring goals at leverkusen and all pundits thought that at £16 mill west ham had got a bargain. I’d put money on him being a total success down the mol.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 15:46:26
The pundits thought pep was mad getting rid of joe heart, that's why they are pundits and not football managers, don't get me wrong could be a success but I would not be putting any money on him.

4.) 11 Jan 2018 18:07:21
Heard he's trouble, best avoid.

5.) 11 Jan 2018 17:59:45
He is on 130k a week. He ain't worth the risk at that money IMO.

6.) 11 Jan 2018 19:23:24
We are better than his current team that he isn't wanted at. he also looks like he just wants to cash in his pay and go home these days, probs more suited to moving to MLS/ China.

7.) 11 Jan 2018 21:05:41
Why would we want yesterday's heroes
We want tomorrow hero's.

8.) 12 Jan 2018 07:29:04
Don't forget these owners are business men and will only purchase young and up and coming players who's value will only enhance!

9.) 12 Jan 2018 12:19:39
I believe that Hernandez is too old for the current outlook on players. His first season in the Bundesliga was a success with around 30 goals but the following season was poor. I'm sure the club have much better options lined up for the Summer.

Anyone remember when we was in league 1?
Thinking of changing my name to Nuno Espirito Santo in honour of the great man. Do not wanna wake from this!

1.) 30 Dec 2017 22:34:58
We're Wolverhampton we're top of the league.

16 Nov 2017 06:43:26
Reports in the paper saying Dele Alli has spoke to Jorge Mendes about joining his stable. Come on uncle Jorge work your magic and get him down the Mol! Hahaha.

29 Sep 2017 21:20:03
Just watching the QPR v Fulham game and I know they say you should never look back but I can't help imagining what Kmac would have been like playing alongside Neves. Would have been the best CM pairing in the league by far in my opinion. Should never ever have sold him.

1.) 30 Sep 2017 00:59:17
For me KMac was one of the most overrated CM’s we’ve had since Guediorra! Yes he could pull the odd wonder pass out of the bag but it was rarely and sadly there’s very little else to his game. Can’t tackle, scared to head it, fairly lazy and made a habit of disappearing for entire months at a time! Also we sold him because he wanted to go, not worth keeping a player who’s had their head turned. Just answer me this though, if the only way to get him back would be to swap him for another a player (which would have been the case because of numbers) who would you swap him for? N’Diaye and Saiss are both FAR superior players as is Reuben. Only person who’s place he would be in is Prices and frankly I think although similar Price has a better all round game. Just my opinion of course and each his own and all that ;)

2.) 30 Sep 2017 08:26:16
Bullysboy i'm not sure how you can say he was overated he ran games alone when he was at wolves and in this system with nunos style of play he would flourish. As for saying saiss is far superior you got to be joking pal. Look in the dictionary and under the word inconsistent would be the name saiss! Other than a couple of raking passes every other game that's all you get from him. i'm sounding like Kmacs love child here but he's captain of a very good fulham team and playing well. Just thinking of what could have been.

3.) 30 Sep 2017 09:19:35
I watched that, how many touches did Kmac have? About 5!

4.) 30 Sep 2017 09:53:57
Kmac is shocking thank god you don't deal with transfers for wolves next you be telling me Fulham will be up there at the end of season.

5.) 30 Sep 2017 12:01:40
I agree with Bull train kmac was overated and he wanted to go anyway so pointless even thinking about it.

6.) 30 Sep 2017 12:33:30
I'd take Kmac over Saiss any day of the week.

7.) 30 Sep 2017 17:04:56
Kmac did well for us but I got the impression he was moody and unsettled he never really made the Scotland team even at the top of his game after we were promoted

Price did well next to Kmac but Saiss offers more in the current lineup but Price has shown he is worth keeping as a second CDM and for cup matches

We need to persevere with Saiss though because at the level Nunes wants to play a bit of inconsistency is OK so long as at the best they offer some classy football Saiss is Premier material, just, but not Price or Kmac even though Price seems to keep surprising us if we get promoted he will probably move to another Championship team.

8.) 01 Oct 2017 00:18:45
Saiss any day for me.
Kmac was good when he had time against inferior opposition but against better class opponents he was either found wanting or showed disinterest. A moody jock!
We got good £8m for Dicko, Bodvarsson, McDonald. That is good business for dare I say it, fringe players.

We are all sailing with Nuno. Go with the flow and don't rock the boat.
Then come May, let the party begin! COYW.

'Helder is back! Helder is back! '
Woh woh!

1.) 27 Sep 2017 20:23:43
Was for 15 mins got replaced by Saiss shortly after Coadys red card.

2.) 27 Sep 2017 20:31:40
Coady had to go. Down 1-0. Looks bleak to me. Clarke scoring, need I say more?

Calling out to all Wolves fans!

Lets get behind our boys from the off tomorrow afternoon.

If it doesn't click with 10-15 games gone we need to stick by them. Big, big changes have happened both on and off the pitch and it may take a while to implament. We now have the players and style of football we all craved for. As long as we're in touching distance of the playoffs come Christmas I'll be happy.

So let's make the mighty Molineux our fortress and be our 12 man! I have no doubt that if support our team like I know we can we will be there or there abouts.

Good time to be a Wolves fan!
Come on lads!

1.) 04 Aug 2017 11:25:58
Here here!, major transformation! Must be given time, a bonus if we do it this year but I would be happy with next year, let's get behind the boys the manager and the club, come on me babies.

2.) 04 Aug 2017 10:48:32
Well said turu calm definitely needed but on here mate. gave loads when we lost against Shrewsbury so I expect if we lose there be some people whining Saturday afternoon but the true wolves fans will have listened to nuno and brought in to his way of football we have acquired some decent talent and can't see many beating us this season ok we may win majority 1-0 with lack of out and out goal scorer but hey ill take 46 1-0 wins.

3.) 04 Aug 2017 11:34:28
Here here! , major transformation. Must be given time, It would be a bonus if we can do it this season but I will happy if it is next season! , it's time to get behind the players the club and the manager, COME ON ME BABIES!

4.) 04 Aug 2017 11:37:04
Top 6 minimum this season!

5.) 04 Aug 2017 12:48:59
Great post Turu, spot on that man! ;) Feeling such a weird mix of excitement and nerves! Thought it was interesting with the stat that Spiers relied off, in that during Nunos tenure both Valencia and Porto had the tightest defences in the league! Great news that cause it should mean we will be right in most games (even when we lose) . Also important because as we all bang on about strikers it does show how Nuno likes to work and why he started the reconstruction from the back. Don’t get me wrong goals are what get you out of this league BUT you need considerably less of those goals if you can keep a clean sheet! BRING ON BORO! UTW ;)

6.) 04 Aug 2017 13:05:38
here here if wolves do not reach top six at least this season
me and paul tamworth will dress up as the teletubbies it all up to you who are to be out of the teletubbies?

7.) 04 Aug 2017 13:14:50
I'm still frustrated by Thelwell, who I think was misled with regard to marketing and missions, by know it all but actually knew nothing Moxey, and I don't think he understands the nature of clubs identity and brand potential, he's inclined to bring in players that aren't a good fit. I'm nervous now about the final striker he's going to get.

8.) 04 Aug 2017 14:23:18
But yes you are right. I'm 100% behind Nuno and the team. I think Nuno is going to be a big success :-)

9.) 04 Aug 2017 16:24:53
If we win 2moz it send out a big message I no its the first one but borough will be up there at the end of the season come on lads.

10.) 04 Aug 2017 16:28:18
Oi oi ulf you get a lot more appreciation if you lay off branding rubbish mate joey Barton was bad branding do you think the club's gave a rubbish he played at the top level every were.

11.) 04 Aug 2017 17:18:03
Joey Barton would have been fine, I was disappointed we never tried to sign him.

I'm not bothered about things being squeaky clean, I'm bothered about them being class. Barton had class by never conforming, but still holding his own in the game. He was his own person, a bit like a poor mans Ince. Gray could turn into that, who knows, at 26 he's at a tipping point. My main issue was I just wanted someone a bit younger, who would become us. Afobe having already been here, still only 24 and still to make his name big getting a team promoted fitted the bill perfectly.

But at 23 Bonatini would work too if he clicks. If he scores I'm going to shout Utini, like shiny eyed Jawas.

Winstonwolf you better be right!
Vietto would clean up in this league. If it is true and Mendes had something to do with it then he should get he (mendes) should get the key to the city.

Where you been Bullysboy?

Was expecting a comment from you straight after the game to be honest hahahaha!

I had humble pie and mash for tea that night after the game!

Gotta say that I may have been blinded by the fact that he was a decent player in a very average team at that time. We are now 2,3,4 times the team that was. UTW.

Still stand by what I said bullysboy sorry.

Sais was awsome against the villa. there's no doubt that if he played anywhere near that each week he’d be dubbed one of the best mids outside the prem. my opinion was based on what I saw last season and the 4 games I've seen him this season. When he’s on it he’s hot, I just feel he loses his concentration way to much in games. i'm hoping this might be a turning point (in my view) to his wolves career and nuno has got his head (saiss) where it needs to be.

I felt a bit emotional watching that performance against the villa. Never seen a wolves come anywhere near a performance like that. Its just great to see a team that is so confident and comfortable on the ball. Getting gooses thinking about it now. Great time to be a wolves fan!
