Just been listening to talk sport and they're reporting that Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) is available for between £7-£10 million. Would take him all day long! A few stumbling blocks though for me

1- would he drop down to the championship for possibly 6 months?
2- would we pay his wages which are probably in the region of £100k-£140k per month?

If we could get over these issues there's no doubt he would bang a load of goals in for us, particularly having 2 of Jota, Cav or Costa supplying the ammunition. I for one would give my right arm to have Wolves snap him up!

1.) 11 Jan 2018 12:32:14
Not for me as lost his edge, like ulloa from Leicester as doesn't get a look in.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 14:57:00

I wouldn’t go as far to say that he’s lost it. Granted he hasn’t pulled up any trees in the 1st half if this season but I put that down to playing in a struggling team who play hoof football which doesn't suit him whatsoever. He was playing well last season scoring goals at leverkusen and all pundits thought that at £16 mill west ham had got a bargain. I’d put money on him being a total success down the mol.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 15:46:26
The pundits thought pep was mad getting rid of joe heart, that's why they are pundits and not football managers, don't get me wrong could be a success but I would not be putting any money on him.

4.) 11 Jan 2018 18:07:21
Heard he's trouble, best avoid.

5.) 11 Jan 2018 17:59:45
He is on 130k a week. He ain't worth the risk at that money IMO.

6.) 11 Jan 2018 19:23:24
We are better than his current team that he isn't wanted at. he also looks like he just wants to cash in his pay and go home these days, probs more suited to moving to MLS/ China.

7.) 11 Jan 2018 21:05:41
Why would we want yesterday's heroes
We want tomorrow hero's.

8.) 12 Jan 2018 07:29:04
Don't forget these owners are business men and will only purchase young and up and coming players who's value will only enhance!

9.) 12 Jan 2018 12:19:39
I believe that Hernandez is too old for the current outlook on players. His first season in the Bundesliga was a success with around 30 goals but the following season was poor. I'm sure the club have much better options lined up for the Summer.

Gutted to see a team like Fulham sign a player like Seri! He would have been perfect along side Neves. Guess we'll never know if we were ever even interested in him. can't help thinking that if we were he would have chose them over us due to location which frustrates the hell out of me. Just praying that we have a few trump cards of our own up our sleeves. We still need 2-3 top players in my opinion to really make a go in this league. UTW.

1.) 12 Jul 2018 11:52:25
What’s happened to us signing quintero? 😉⚽️👍.

2.) 12 Jul 2018 12:55:45
Have to say it's getting a bit worrying now!

3.) 12 Jul 2018 18:36:57
You worry, I'm more realistic.
Stay Calm, season is still 4-5 weeks away.

Saying in the S*n this morning that there's no buy-out clause in Ruben's new contract! Nice to hear that I got to say. Still recon there may be some sort of gentleman's agreement.

{Ed001's Note - buy-out clauses are not legally binding in the UK, so why would there be one in his contract?}

17 Jun 2018 19:21:14
How reliable is this Dave Jenkins on twitter? Hope he's very reliable if what he says about Jack Wilshere is true.

1.) 17 Jun 2018 20:21:40
He was spot on with Steve Coterill leaving Blues. Can be a bit hit and miss but his tweets are worth a read.

27 Apr 2018 20:46:36
Anyone else think that it might be a mistake Dalrymple claiming that Wolves will make a statement spending wise this summer? Can only imagine that teams will raise the price for players we are interested in. example being Mitrovic. Signed for £13 mill and has hardly had a look in at Newcastle regardless if his temperament. Now they want £20 mill because he's banged a few in in the champ. I realise its only a rumour (Mitrovic transfer) but can't help thinking that Dalarymple's comments won't help. Thoughts anyone? UTW.

1.) 27 Apr 2018 22:38:39
Reading that article, I don't think he categorically said we would, rather we could if the right players were open to a move.

2.) 27 Apr 2018 22:41:27
Good point Turu. Clubs will be rubbing their hands now with pound signs in their eyes. You know it, you don't broadcast it! Bit of an own goal from Dalrymple. I can only hope that We have so much money available that they ain't bothered. Stil very silly though.

3.) 27 Apr 2018 23:21:45
Turu, I get your point fella and for the most part agree that its better operating in the shadows. However the reality is every man and his dog already knows that Fosun are minted and they've also not been quiet about meaning business! So whilst I agree with the premise I think the reality is peeps would have driven up prices either way as its the nature of the beast. I mean we've just spent £50m getting out of the Champ, that ain't the signs of a club on a budget so I suppose what I'm saying is that what he said won't be news to anyone in the game!
Also let's not forget our ace here, Uncle Jorge won't let us pay over the odds unless the whole management team think the players truly worth it and well if they all think that then happy days as they haven't got one wrong yet when spending big! COYW ;)

4.) 27 Apr 2018 23:34:14
That didn't work too well for Bournemouth when they tried to outnegotiate Wolves for Afobe loan. Not going to happen. Wolves are not desperate for any individual player and will make enquiries about many players and take the best or most reasonable deal.

5.) 27 Apr 2018 23:42:16
Ps- For me I really hope we don't sign Mitrovic, he's always struggled for consistency in the Prem not to mention the guys a nut case and not sure we need that ;)

6.) 28 Apr 2018 10:27:41
I'd rather Mitrovic than Leo 100%. But I think we will get better🤞 Buy Silva, loan Rashford? 👍.

7.) 28 Apr 2018 11:58:00
I think people are in dream land a little bit when it comes to signings this season. For me as long as we sign Boly, Afobe and N’diaye. Plus another centre back, right back and striker and I think we could finish in mid-table.

8.) 28 Apr 2018 23:44:21
Paul think your second parts spot on, I mean we are hardly limited to a choice of just Leo or Mitrovic now are we?! That said I think the talk of a Rashford loan is pie in the sky! The guys got to be one of the most exciting young prospects in the country (if not the world) right now so not entirely sure why peeps have decided that United are in a rush to shift him?!

Wolves11- Have to agree because some of the names seen on here have been frankly hilarious! That said mind, had you read me this seasons team sheet two seasons ago well I'd have said that was dream land! going to be an exciting summer either way me thinks! COYW ;)

9.) 29 Apr 2018 08:51:19
Rashford not a chance but Martial is available apparently and is a Nuno type of player wages a big problem I expect and he will want European football

We will sign players from outside the UK they are usually cheaper.

25 Apr 2018 16:28:13
Cant get my head around some fans saying that they wouldn't take Jack Wilshere! Also saying that we could do better. This kid is in my opinion Englands most technically and most creative midfield player. i'd give my right nacker to have Wolves sign him. ON A FREE TRANSFER! The games he's played this season he's been Arsenals best player. As for his injury record like I said it would cost nothing to buy him so its sort of a free hit really, even if we could get 20-25 games out of him it would prove very good value. I got to admit that i'm one of his biggest fans so may be looking at it through rose tinted specs. I believe he will end up at Chelsea or maybe Liverpool. Really looking forward to next season! UTW! Also can't wait to get Fifa 19 as the mighty Molineux will be on it hahahaha big kid at heart!

1.) 25 Apr 2018 16:48:24
I'd love it if we signed him too. Just imagine Neves and Wilshire running the midfield. Dream team.

2.) 25 Apr 2018 21:13:14
Totally agree Turu. Saw him play a few times this season, he was the Dogs Bs. Not saying he’s as good as Rúben but a slightly different player, bloody good though, excellent! Go get!

3.) 25 Apr 2018 21:39:02
Wilshire would be good in my opinion for us, right age and got the premier experience at top level.
Won't be easy to get but we do have the ambition to attract these players and the funds to back it up so every possibility.
I think some of us fans are expecting a little much with some of the comments I'm reading on sites, let's keep our feet on the ground (Ronaldo) (messi) isn't going to happen but I do believe we can expect a couple of big money named sighnings this summer but let's also remember we do already have a great squad so we don't need to be out there bringing in 20 new players.

Wonder what his release clause amounts to? Hopefully around £50 - £60 mill.

Agree that we’re being linked with an awful lot of GK’s. Primary positions we should be looking at 1st should be CF x 2 CB x 2 and also cover/ starter for Doc. I do think we need an upgrade on Ruddy but these should be the primary positions to fill first in my opinion. can't wait for next season!

I honestly believe he is in the top 3 central midfielders in the country and find it hard to believe that Tottenham want to sell him or that he wants to leave. Saying that i'd give my right arm for him to be strutting his stuff down the mol alongside our Ruben!
