1.) 06 Mar 2017 19:19:22
Must have sat incorrectly on the bench on Saturday!

2.) 06 Mar 2017 19:52:39
Bright 21 appearances 1 goal the future is Bright.

23 feb 2017 10:13:12
e/ s reporting ronan will not play again this season due to back stress fracture, way back for sassis then,

swansea1

1.) 23 Feb 2017 11:52:43
Ouch!

Just as he was breaking into the team. Feel for him. Fortunately we have other options even with Cav out of the squad and Oniangue away on loan. Move Edwards to the wing and play Saiss and Price in the middle, should help get the ball to 2 forwards, Bod and one other.

2.) 23 Feb 2017 14:25:26
tony daley for fitness coach of the year?

3.) 23 Feb 2017 15:22:22
I don't know what others think about this, but what about making Bodvarsson a box to box central midfielder? He has all the attributes for this role. Tell me what you think please?

4.) 23 Feb 2017 16:04:20
How about as a goalkeeper because he is very tall?

5.) 23 Feb 2017 16:08:08
Certainly can't win the ball in the air where it matters, in front of goal, Mick would 'av had him at "left-back " by now!

6.) 23 Feb 2017 17:46:50
If we still had MM, there's only 1 guy that would still be our left back.

7.) 23 Feb 2017 22:55:57
you know what i mean.

15 Feb 2017 19:39:00
Rio ave defender rodrick mirinanda was a target in jan, but now looks like a summer buy according to portugeuse press.

swansea1

1.) 15 Feb 2017 22:46:48
There's a shock spent 10 years at Benfica before moving to Rio Ave got to be one of Mendes'

2.) 15 Feb 2017 23:35:59
There's going to be a big conflict of interests between Mendes, who wants to bring in more Portuguese players, and Lambert, who steadfastly wants British. Basically we are looking at an exciting foreigner coming in, only to be replaced by Richard Stearman after one game, who will be given a new 4 year contract, lol.

3.) 17 Feb 2017 18:22:39
If Stearman is sign permanently come June I will be absolutely fuming! No wonder we are in so much trouble, as the squad is man up of players of the same standard as Stearman;NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP! Stearman should have been sent back to Fulham in January! Nice lad but, I detest watching him play!

4.) 17 Feb 2017 18:39:31
We are really regressing under Lambert. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee the side he is playing is crap. Where's Saiss, Bodvarson needs to start over Dicko, the only good players we have at the mo is Costa and Ronan. Iorfa is only good when he's on good form. Just need a better lot of players, I'd like to see Ronan starting over mason who I've never rated in the first place. Have Edwards keep captain and Evans sent to league 2 where he belongs. Join Saville and Lonergan too. Loan out Iorfa to a prem side to get experience, and buy buy buy and get promoted simple as.

5.) 18 Feb 2017 08:12:48
Buy buy buy! Get promoted simple! We have the 3rd biggest spend this year at 28 million. Its not about throwing money at it and getting a quick fix. Villa have spent 65 million this year, have had countless players coming and going and almost as many managers. It clearly doesn't work. We need maybe 2 or 3 seasons of progression under Lambert. Support him, let him do his job and get some stability back at wolves. There is no quick fix.

6.) 18 Feb 2017 11:08:16
Pity we can't send Batth back to Fulham and keep Stears. When fully fit, Stears is definitely the better of the two.

7.) 18 Feb 2017 11:28:05
Well you might laugh at these suggestions but, I did say give Edwards a go up front or just behind front man and it seams everyone seams to like the idea now with our striker situation, because he is not a skillful player and does not create much, but gives is best we have nothing to lose, you could put Saiss back in middle then, to be quite honest it's seams strange to me, how he cannot get in team with players we have, perhaps Lambert don't like him.
The other suggestion I said at the time was that we could do no worse than get Warnock in to manage us before Lambert on short term contract to get we sorted out, he nows what is needed in this division look what he done at Rotherham and what he is doing at Cardiff now with average players, horses for courses I say.

8.) 18 Feb 2017 17:53:35
Warnock, no thanks. Gary Rowett or Brucie (after sacking from Villa), yes please.

9.) 18 Feb 2017 20:53:16
Stick with Lambert we need to stop chopping and changing get a core to the team. Thought they were amazing today just can't score. Desperately need new strikers.

10.) 19 Feb 2017 11:08:18
What if we get Rowett or Brucie and they go on a 4 match loosing streak? Then who's next on the list?

11.) 19 Feb 2017 17:45:42
I agree, keeping Lambo might be a better idea until Christmas, then review again afterwards.

30 jan 2017 19:28:42
birmingham mail suggesting we have bid twice for left back, ryan haynes. deal maybe done tuesday.

swansea1

1.) 30 Jan 2017 20:11:14
If we sign him, his hair will match his shirt!

2.) 30 Jan 2017 20:24:17
I hope we get him he's a very good young left quick and got a decent delivery on him, could mean doc moves back to right back so we don't have to go spend massive on a RB this makes sense for me

3.) 30 Jan 2017 21:05:30
I disagree, Docherty is a left back now - this kid will just be his back up. Makes you wonder what will happen with Deslandes, though.

4.) 30 Jan 2017 21:22:22
@wavidsmith . fair point about Deslandes .

5.) 30 Jan 2017 22:13:32
I agree wavidsmith but I just think because he right footed and is full back already here I just think that's what will happen I'm not saying he won't play lb still I just think Lambo will move him back to right back as well if this gets done

6.) 30 Jan 2017 22:38:57
Mr lambert can u now go and get that wigan player wildschut he is class azwell and can play upfront. we love u costa we do oh costa we love UTW

7.) 30 Jan 2017 23:06:27
Looks like no bid will be accepted for Hanley at this stage, so it's just Marshall.

8.) 30 Jan 2017 23:37:38
We already have Coady, Iorfa and Marshall (? ) to play right back, why would PL put Doc back there? Logically, the only reason for this new left back is for cover, only.

He's also been calling Doc 'the new Denis Irwin', singing his praises all week about him in that position. Even if the plan is to play Marshall in left midfield, I doubt very much Doc will ever return to right back ever again under Lambert.

9.) 31 Jan 2017 06:36:40
Derek parkin made the most appearance for wolves and he was a right footer playing left back apparently he was brilliant according to some people and another one was dennis irwin but he was like naturally left footed same with naturally right

ola john set for a med on friday in spain, announced by spanish press, one off the wage bill then,

RIP G T,

swansea1

1.) 13 Jan 2017 13:34:35
how much do we reckon off wage bill? its a start whatever.

2.) 13 Jan 2017 16:10:56
As a percentage not much he was on loan and my guess is that young players in Portugal don't earn much so probably 1 percent of the wage bill!

Can you pick a player that as excited you out of this lot and that you will think of in next 10 years as a Wolves heroe.
I cannot think of one that stands out, so that tells me why we are down the bottom of championship, and giving 3 year contracts to these average players realy is confuseing, as is Lambert saying we played well again, when we fans now it is terrible football to watch very negative and Fosun saying they want to be in premier realy confuses me.
They Fosun if we survive relegation need to get there act together next season and change a lot of the backroom staff for starters, they seam the only people who don't take any of the blame, recruitment is crap, under 18s did they win a match, injuries all the time, they seam to spend more time in treatment room, what's that telling you, and the coaching, same mistakes week in and year out, we never learn, when will it end.

oliver mcburnie of swansea would be a good choice for a striker played well against us last week scoring 2, not getting game time down here at the moment,
