Paul T, football is a game full of opinions and u are entitled to yours. Just as I and many others are entitled to disagree with you. If PL ends up staying I will be delighted. Yes at times last season the football was boring but at other times we showed great potential. Problem is getting that consistency which I am convinced PL will achieve if left alone to build his own team. The two players he managed to get in in Jan were two of our best performers. Whether u like him or not, YOU obviously don't care about the club if u want us to have owners who change the manager every 6 months - we'll end up like Forest or Leeds or Blues - time to show some patience and togetherness and give the guy a chance. All managers no matter who they are need at least 3 transfer windows to shape there own team.

At times the football was boring! Your standards must be low . Most of the time the football was boring at best I actually remember the Cardiff game and the best entertainment came from the blow up sheep .

It is all about opinions Razorwolf, and I disagree with yours. Especially the part about not carin about the club. 😡! IMO the debate for and against Lambert is now hypothetical as I 100% believe he won't be at our club much longer and definitely won't be here for the start of the season.

I don't think we can say both the players he brought in have been our best performers. Marshall has looked decent after an underwhelming start but weimman hasn't been that good really, yet another forward player who can run but not score.
I'm sure the fans who want lambert to go care just as much about the club as them who want him to stay, I personally think the next appointment is critical as we can't be here again in 6 months time doing the same thing but lambert is not the best man for this job.
When lambert talks about having a great rapport with the fans, do we ever sing his name? Even zenga had a song!

Razor. unfair of you to claim PT does not care. We are all on here exactly because we do care what happens to this lovely club of ours. We all have different ideas of what should be done, that is our freedom of expression based on a desire for a better outcome. That should not be questioned.

That's it Ed - I'm about done with visiting this site. Moan, moan, gloom and doom. That's all you read on here. Whenever there's a signing that doesn't come off then we should sack someone (probably Thelwell) but when we get one that does come off, he gets no credit for it. Whenever someone gets injured we should sack Tony Daley (as if footballers never get injured at other clubs) . If we sell Costa it shows we have no ambition- FFP means we have to balance the books folks and if we made £7mill profit on him it would allow us to go out and spend a lot more. - seems like a smart move to me. Seriously some of u need to give your heads a wobble.

Can't agree Pompey - both Saville and Evans put in solid performances just as they did at Stoke they were not awful and for me they have earned further chances. And for the record I haven't slagged off either of them (or shagged em as you so eloquently put) .

Evans and Saville were excellent - disciplined, tackled hard and gave Liverpool no time on the ball. They were just as good at Stoke. Cannot believe Pompey Wolf can't see that - wonder if you ever played the game?

New to this site but had to comment on Costa's position. He has never lined up on the left for Wolves - despite him being predominantly left-footed. Jordon Graham is mainly right- footed but usually plays on the left - it's modern-day football innit?

Wolves Coast why do u keep asking for another left back? In Douglas and Vinagre we must have the best 2 left backs in the division. Why do we need another one - I don’t get it,

Thought we'd already signed a left back?

Well we've Enobakahre, who I think will go on to a "bright" future in the game - fact is Lambert played him too deep so didn't get enough goals. Then there's Niall Ennis and Donovan Wilson who should both be knocking on the door next season - only a broken leg put a stop on Niall's rapid progress.

So Santo has 6 months to prove you guys were right to demand Lambert's head? That's all Lambert was afforded so in my eyes that's all you can allow Santo right? He'd better hit the ground running then because if results are not there then he will also have to go. At least he will get a pre-season to bring in his players and work with them, which was more than PL was allowed. I guess you all agree that it is the right way to build a team - swapping the coach every six months? By the way, if Mendes is the guy choosing the squad, surely he should then be the one held responsible if they don't work out? Can't keep blaming Thelwell if Mendez is calling the shots.
