Fosun have already sold the family silver.

In the summer, they'll sell the fixtures and fittings too and spout some tripe to us fans in the hope that we're gullible enough to buy into their bull.

Sa, Hugo, Santi, Wolfe, Krejci, Andre, Mane, Joao and Jackson will all leave for about £175m.

They won't invest. They'll say, Johnstone, Doc, Lima, Djiga, Toti, Rodrigo, Munetsi, Bellegarde, Tolu, Armstrong, Sasa and Hwang are a good base. Add to this the returning Doyle and Traore, all we need is minimal investment and players like Chirewa, Fraser, Pond and Chiwome to step up.

Mark my words. Fosun will demand that Edwards works with what he's already got and any profit will not be reinvested into either the playing squad or the stadium.

I think Wolves will try to make a real effort next season. However, for it to work, many players have to go. There are too many bad players at the club. Years of selling and bringing in cheap replacements have been a disaster. There are players at Wolves I wouldn't even want in the Championship. The club should already be in the process of rebuilding the team, as relegation is a certainty and Wolves get themselves ahead of the teams who are still fighting for survival.

If Fosun don't show ambition and prepare a decent team who can get promotion from the Championship, they should be prepared for 13, 000 gates and constant protests.

They won't back Rob Edwards. It will be a case of 'work with what you've got'. That's what they told Lage, Lopetegui and Gary O'Neil, so why would they change their ways now?

bull for one Doc is out of contract god some people talk some rubbish on this site. If i'm proved wrong i will apoligise but don't think so wolves will sell but will buy to get back in the PL.

Oh, so Doc is definitely going, and there is no chance of him staying?

He's going to be 34, he's out of contract, yes, he's leaving imo.

22 Feb 2026 18:27:00
OK. So its in your opinion.

In my opinion, he'll sign a new contract as it'll be on reduced terms and he has experience.

And also in my opinion, Fosun will not spend massive amounts for the reasons I've already said. Or is this still 'bull' and am I talking 'rubbish' as you posted earlier?

Hope they don't re-sign him, to be honest. He's well past his best and too slow for even the Champ. I'd sooner we give Pedro Lima a chance, to be honest. I think the actual version will be between the two. I think Wolves will sell and intend to reinvest in Champ-ready players (eg Armstrong). However, there are two problems with that.

Firstly, by the time you get back to the Prem, you just have a Champ-standard squad, which is a very real issue. Secondly, as we've all seen before, Fosun's take-on flipping players and reinvesting hasn't worked for over five years. Get the next transfer window wrong and we might not get back up for a decade! No pressure, then. 🤣 👍

Ref was a joke sends of Krejic rightly so although i don't think Krejic heard the whistle tbf, but Hughes never got a second yellow in first half when he should've, Whatbuton should've seen straight red.
Starting to question Edwards man management too tbh, why take off Armstrong and leave Tolu on?
Armstrong was having a better game overall, i'm not going to knock Tolu for that missed pen even though it was poor that was down to confidence.

Summer a huge rebuild is needed build the team around Mane if he stays and Armstrong.

I see Tossard was so badly injured he has to play today, what a joke he is.

Thoughts and prayers for Tossard. Maybe a vigil at the hospital!

We have these moments in games (Arsenal 2nd half for example) where you see some fight. Some guile. Some passion. Then nothing. It's the hope that kills you. Rob Edwards is not the right guy. To take us forward. I can't see him building a team to compete in the championship. Most of the first team today won't be here next season so we'll be left with players that aren't good enough and buy on the cheap in the hope they come good.

Why oh why is Tolu taking a pen? Surely Armstrong would have been the better choice. Such a pathetic pen. Referee was a joke and inconsistent with his decisions. Unbelievable. So frustrated.

Terrible penalty, deserved a draw, but never mind, move on to the next game. Who would replace re, as I am afraid I agree. He's not up to it. If we can't keep players, I fear a double drop. We certainly can't afford a start in champ like we had in prem.

Robbie Keane as manager with Conor Coady as player/coach. John Mousinho.

Rob Edwards 7 wins in 55 Premier League games for Luton and Wolves. Worst record of any Premier League manager!

22 Feb 2026 16:29:04
As bad as they were, even Dean Saunders' and Terry Connor's teams had a clear way of playing. Rob Edwards seems to set the teams up on an ad hoc basis.

Well Tolu and Krejci, that defeat lies firmly at your door. Oh well I guess you help right the wrongs next season won't you? No you won't. You'll both leave as you think you're better than you actually are.

Tolu is proving to be nothing but a useless lump.

So annoyed by that games. Palace didn't win tha game, Wolves lost it.

Appalling penalty by Tolu - a blind man would have saved it - and a stupid moment by Krejči kicking the ball away after the whistle. He knew full well what he was doing and you could straight away the ref was going to send him off.

3

22 Feb 2026 16:19:56
Well, that felt and looked like a nothing-to-play-for end-of-season game. Krecji's sending off was harsh, considering what's gone on in the league this year, led by Arsenal's dark arts. Onwards and downwards.

Just heard a commentator say that Wolves were unlucky again today.

No we weren't.

Tolu took a weak ass penalty and Krejci got himself needlessly sent off.

We got exactly what we deserved. f all.

Lets not try and dress this up any other way. We were useless yet again.

The guy who we sold for 5 million, and let that paltry figure sink in. Well, he's scoring, and has never missed one in the Premier League. Discipline, organisation, tactics are all well below what's expected. That Tolu geezer is bigger than that alien that Arnie fought, and gets knocked over. I've played against better than him on Sunday mornings.

Long time reader. First time poster. Edwards has got to go. Get someone in to get used to the team and take in us to the championship. He's tactically inept. Jackson is useless. But he still plays him. It's just dull football. Zero consistency. 1 win all season is not good enough.

On this evidence I can't see us returning to the prem at the first attempt. I had hope he would be better as I do like him. But it's not worked out. Jet Raul back on a free in the summer and there might be hope. COME ON ME BABBIES!

22 Feb 2026 16:03:08
Sorry, Sheff, but you're miles off. A dreadful penalty and a stupid decision by Krejci cost Wolves that game. That penalty was one of the worst I've ever seen. Krejci, already on a yellow, was an absolute muppet for booting that ball away. He knew what he was doing.

22 Feb 2026 16:20:28
Tolu and Armstrong offer nothing. The one runs around like a headless chicken 🐔. The other one couldn't hit a barn door and falls over too easily. Go on, tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I could mark them myself, and I'm 74 years old.

1

22 Feb 2026 16:20:56
How can I be miles off when it's been like this almost every game, irrespective of whether Tolu misses a penalty or Krejci gets sent off? With 11 vs 11, we'd still not score in open play today. Palace didn't win it today.

We lost it. There is a pattern here. Giving the ball away cheaply in good areas, up and down the pitch, all season will show in one or two highlights here and there. It's why we're bottom with 1 win.

Total truth, B hill wolf. No getting away from it. Both dross, and that's being kind. Both not worthy of our beloved shirt.

I will be glad when this season finishes miss a pen then player sent of for kicking the ball away. You honestly could not make it up unbloody believable should have been at least 1 or 2 goals up at half time.

2

22 Feb 2026 16:24:38
I don't think Krejci deliberately kicked the ball away. I thought he was either putting it back where it went out, or even thought it was still in play. Maybe he called the linesman something rude? Doesn't change things. We were dismal again. We should have been at least 2 up at the break, but we haven't got a true striker. Mane is becoming a puzzle; has his natural flair been trained out of him? The lads' passing is either too short or too long, he's not tracking players when he should, and he's going over the same way too often.

Tolu, for all his 'presence', can't head a ball or control for himself. His soft penalty was as pathetic as it was weak. Henderson did save it; it simply rolled into him. Andrews may do a lot of running, but he's absent when it comes to a number 9 shirt. Dire game, boring game, but Fosun must be quids in on the win bonuses they haven't paid out. So is it Vile Scousers Scousers next 3? Something to look forward to after that, (not).
