13 Jul 2016 22:29:43
Just been thinking and what if this new owner comes in and don't spend the money that we hope he's going to spend but I hope he does spend the money on revamping the squad fingers crossed.

13 Jul 2016 22:06:24
Sick to death of people craving attention by putting fake rumours on here. Bore off! It will happen when it happens, I just hope it DOES happen and its NOT to late!
FWAW / _/ .

13 Jul 2016 20:41:38
I'm all rumoured let's face it moxey looked pretty chilled on that train can't see anything happening yet I think it will be end of month . then we will go transfer crazy if the truth be known there's probs players on a promise having made a gentlemans agreement.

13 Jul 2016 21:10:30
What on Earth did you want him to be doing? Cartwheeling up and down the aisle or sobbing uncontrollably into a pie?

13 Jul 2016 22:48:38
Sandwich board round his neck saying the end is nigh!

14 Jul 2016 00:31:51
The Virgin first class staff had probably told him. that, due to a hitch and staff shortage, there were no pies or crisps in the buffet.

13 Jul 2016 20:38:33
Can't stop laughing. people really believe a Β£21million pound player is coming to wolves and on top of that he's choosing wolves over Liverpool. wake up and smell the coffee. this bloke can actually play football!

13 Jul 2016 22:00:37
Who says anybody believes it Timtoo33 just reflecting a news item. You need to chill Tim you seem concerned that this might happen.

13 Jul 2016 22:07:55
What I find funny is what do people think we don't have to follow financial regulations? Lol isn't 21 million way over than we have accumulated!? Lmao.

13 Jul 2016 22:22:14
It is indeed but a few clubs with rich owners have ignored the ffp and spent way more than they had coming in Bournemouth a prime example they just got a fine that's all, plus I believe the rules have been relaxed a bit now and it's over a 3 year period.
Still I can't see a 21million player joining a championship club.

13 Jul 2016 22:48:50
Living in cloud cuckoo land victory v
Lmao.

13 Jul 2016 23:19:03
Times they are a changin
This is 50/ 50 Mendes is a major power and will make the call trust me.

14 Jul 2016 00:15:28
I think the reason for him possibly coming to us is because he won't cost Β£21m or whatever is quoted. The main reason he'll cost that much to someone in the premier league is because the size of the fee is something work permits are judged on and so, his price is inflated. In our case, I don't think we'd have to pay as much as that but, would still be a sizeable amount and a lot more than our normal transfer fees.

14 Jul 2016 00:34:43
It helps that your agent is apparently involved in the club you might be moving to, so, ridiculous rumour, yes, impossible, possibly not. Who knows what the near future may hold. Or not.

13 Jul 2016 20:29:53
Liverpool could lose out to Championship side Wolves in the battle for Β£21million-rated Benfica youngster Anderson Talisca - as it would be easier for the Brazilian to attain a work permit in the second flight. Wolves are set to be taken over by a Chinese billionaire who could fund the deal (S*n)

13 Jul 2016 20:42:39
I hear tomorrow is Black Country Day? I wonder if there's any significance in that?

13 Jul 2016 20:51:01
I like the word set.

13 Jul 2016 21:05:08
Well dave edwards this morning watching his interview again. Nows the deals done. But can't say. So looking forward tommorrow.

13 Jul 2016 20:23:40
Is anyone else getting a bit fed up of all this now.

13 Jul 2016 19:34:32
No response from Jim Boraston today eeekkkk.

13 Jul 2016 19:31:48
Wolves are being sold to nobody. you heard it here.

13 Jul 2016 19:42:29
I didn't realise his middle name was nobody? U learn something new everyday! πŸ˜‚ Its happening BELIEVE πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

13 Jul 2016 20:59:25
Timtoo another jealous boggie πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚βœŠπŸ»πŸ’¦.

13 Jul 2016 22:51:26
Been a season ticket holder over ten years in the south bank staffs.
Sorry to disappoint you. i'm only interested in wolves.

13 Jul 2016 18:47:29
I was thinking. I've mentioned him before balltelli? His dad lives in Wolverhampton. We can afford his wages yes he his daft. But still a good player. Weve had worse players.
He is after a club. Could be worth a punt.

{Ed001's Note - please take him. I will piggy back him down if it helps?}

13 Jul 2016 20:46:15
Oh yeah balotelli for first signing they will be a good start to life as a successful team. after he's had a scrap with his new team mates.

13 Jul 2016 17:46:41
In my opinion the AC Milan and Wolves Takeovers are intrinsically linked. The Telegraph said yesterday that our Takeover should be confirmed in about 3 weeks - The AC Milan Takeover was delayed by 2 weeks a few days ago.

Doe anyone else think we are to become a Feeder club to AC Milan?

I'm not complaining - to see us on MOTD every week would be fine by me.

We might not be the new Chelsea I had hoped though!

13 Jul 2016 18:47:52
Im not sure I would be keen on the "Feeder" tag, no matter how big Ac milan are, and that's a club I followed keenly when I was younger'who remembers football italia on c4?
We are a big club in our own rights'i doubt the new owner would want to stifle the growth the club could realise with investment.

13 Jul 2016 19:04:20
In my opinion the Milan and Wolves takeovers are quite separate. Milan is a Robin Li linked consortium. Wolves is Robin Li personally. One could go through without the other. Feeder club? It works both ways. I fully expect fringe Milan players to be loaned to Wolves to get first team experience. Don't rule out ambitions for us to be the new Chelsea, given time.

13 Jul 2016 20:00:21
I see your point Jimmy and Deep.

The Premier League generates mush more cash than Serie A.

But let's be honest - AC Milan are a Premier Marque. We could be a cash cow for Milan. And a testing ground for their players?

13 Jul 2016 17:42:52
I Anticipate The Takeover Will Be Completed And From Reports Ivan Cavaliero And Anderson Talisca . Exciting Times Ahead I Hope.

13 Jul 2016 17:34:43
Kenny jackett still fighting like custer did with the indians. well in this case chinese and tabloids.

13 Jul 2016 17:42:23
He will lose.

13 Jul 2016 18:16:19
Brown bread lol. Give him Sunderland lol.

13 Jul 2016 17:09:53
One thing that I wonder is do the clubs selling the '5 players' to Wolves have to also agree to a NDA too? Hence why no clubs have come forward with any news?

13 Jul 2016 17:09:16
At some point the takeover will be announced. Some supposed itk poster will claim they knew all along and drop lucky with the day or time. Until then we all wait to hear from the people who really know.

Looking forward to our new beginning but don't feel we should celebrate KJ's departure without remembering what state our club was in when he took the helm. He restored respect and belief and dragged us out of league one. He has always acted with dignity and held his head high. I for one thank him for that. Admittedly last season was not the season we had hoped for but hopefully that is in the past and we move onwards and upwards. Just don't expect results straight away - having money doesn't necessarily equal results. The team and management will need time to settle.

Mixed feelings about Moxey and whilst I don't like the man I recognise that he has kept us stable/ solvent and sellable. Guess we have to wait and see if it becomes Fatman and Robin! Let's drink to a bright new future and wait for the announcement.

13 Jul 2016 17:53:21
Why do you bother with ITK it is the the congregation of some of the dumbest people around, why true Wolves fans bother with it is beyond me all they do is practice one upmanship
Boring.

13 Jul 2016 18:18:20
That was my point.

13 Jul 2016 13:39:47
This takeover is one great big hoax. Heres what's happening Steve Morgan meets his friend Guillem Balague on holiday. Tells him to post a message saying there's a big takeover. Everone gets excited. He sells mcdonald, which fans won't moan about and players cannot be bought, because 'takeover is happening'. Now it says three weeks till completion. Season ticket sales increase. Then what happens- season about to start. Wolves make announcement that so called takeover has fallen through. 'Oh well says Morgan'.

13 Jul 2016 14:35:05
Season ticket sales were suspended 2 days ago!

13 Jul 2016 14:36:47
Ah you have let the cat out of the bag.
Typical of an WBA fan.

13 Jul 2016 15:40:21
wlvs82

Takeover is one big hoax? You are mate.

13 Jul 2016 15:46:58
Wlvs82 you seamed stressed think positive those days of Morgan will be over soon, we ought to thank him realy for selling the club to a Billionaire and honouring sir. Jacks wishes of doing the best for the club that the new owner can take the club forward
This when it's signed and sealed, which it will be in my opinion will be the best thing that's happened to this FOOTBALL CLUB and to think that we had 2 Billionaires fighting to get our club according to news reports tells me that Wolves F. C. must be very special and of interest world wide, so let's all enjoy the ride,
Just thought I would chear you up Wolves fans, come on me babbies we are nearly there.

13 Jul 2016 16:24:52
We definitely have one of the best 'potential' brands in the World, a potential super-brand. Through our towns heritage, our identity can be presented in a totally real way as the epitome of grass roots enterprise, we have no true historical class divides but can be glam and classy due to our artisan heritage, our birthing of the Industrial Revolution makes us a perfect place for a rich IT person to make their name regenerating us, tying history and future, them and us together naturally.

And in recent times, I'd like to think in the end we made a great success of multi-culturalism and are a united people, but without losing our identity for it, rather it just complimented us and made us even more. And the club itself has a heritage of being top of the game, with longest serving England captain, planting roots of Euro tournaments, heroes with integrity and loyalty like Bully etc. You really couldn't get a more 'potentially' inclusive supportable club with as much potential National and Global appeal and reach as us.

Can't blame Morgan for not seeing it as I think his view of the World is overly affected by his urban Liverpool bubble, so him aside, the only really surprising thing for me is Moxey, who reckons to have a marketing background but apparently never saw any of this, he reckoned we were a seed to be like Everton, when in reality we are a seed to be another Man U.

I'm sure though Robin Li or his advisers have vision and have seen some of this and that's why they're interested, it's fantastic that someone did and Moxey wasn't too much in the way of it.

13 Jul 2016 17:01:57
Lots of positives around our club and aspects of our city. There are still some very negative stereotypes out there that we are going to have to work hard to dispel, and some of those relate to a small lunatic fringe of so called supporters. Club can do a lot more than it does at present to rid us of these once and for all. Ties with the World's fastest growing economy can only be a positive for investment in the city and premier league status does have a knock on effect to the general "feel good" factor for all concerned. Looks like the proverbial "golden" opportunity, let's hope it materialises and then let's hope we learn how to maximise the benefits it could bring, on and off the field.

13 Jul 2016 17:13:19
Ulf, I admire your optimism but I'm sure you've been smoking some funny stuff.

13 Jul 2016 18:18:26
Not saying I do but Queen Victoria smoked funny stuff and she had the biggest Empire the World has ever seen :-)

It could take a decade or two to develop Wolves, but it is there to do it with, it's about ingredients and we have the best set going, in terms of potential. Obviously ultimately down to the chef though. I'm sure SJH could feel it but so immersed in it, it was subjective and he couldn't verbalise it as anything other than sentimental. I think SMorgan could feel it too but didn't necessarily understand why, I don't think Moxey has any feel at all though, which shouldn't matter, as CEO he should have delegated it, but in his world everything revolves around him so I guess he never saw the need, assumed he was right and he got away with that because everything was on the cheap. The new owners money and professionalism should mean we'll be buying marketing / brand input and that will have vision, so we should be on our way down a long, but I reckon increasingly brighter and ultimately stellar road.

13 Jul 2016 13:27:18
Whatever happens I hope it gets done soon as my data allowance is going down like the titanic!

13 Jul 2016 13:23:47
According to wolves blog, suggesting announcement imminent possibly tomorrow .

13 Jul 2016 11:37:39
new here and like a lot of people I have been checking various sites every 30 seconds, lots of rubbish about! I really would like to ask you all something as there seems to be a mutual hatred of mr moxey does anyone have a valid reason for this or do you all just want someone to hate? as like most of you I don't really know what his job does in fine detail other than do what he's told from the owner, also if I remember correctly he got silly amounts of money for jarvis and fletcher which surely made a lot of money for the club when they were clearly not woth this amount, there for he's paid his own wages hasn't he? only my oppinion. what's yours?

13 Jul 2016 13:34:08
I agree moxey as to work within budgets Morgan as laid down.

13 Jul 2016 13:41:39
Some fans need to give Moxey credit for the club being in the position to be bought by Mr Li, the blame for wolves failure rest with one person Morgan, everyone else was being told what to do. I believe Jacket was told to just keep us in the championship because Morgan was not prepared to spend money on the fist team to enable promotion. I have supported Wolves for 54 years and seen a lot of bad times, it is now time to forget the past and look forward to the future and the good times. COME ON ME BABBIES.

13 Jul 2016 14:13:55
Moxey isn't suited to be being Wolves CEO, because however great he might be with numbers, he can't see Wolves brand potential because he doesn't understand the value in its (or the regions) identity and heritage.

He's just a money man and dealer, pretending to be much more, and he's selfish and destructive for it. I was something special with marketing and identity, got offered the chance to be educated and fast tracked into senior CEO type management, or to specialise more in marketing. Even though it was less power, status, security, and money for me, I chose marketing because that's where I could contribute best. While Moxey does whatever is best for Moxey, assumes responsibilities and specialisations even if in truth he hasn't got a clue, because he's power mad and conceited.

Moxey likening Wolves repeatedly to Everton (an urban working class club and equivalent in our region to Baggies, while in truth we are equivalent in their region to Liverpool) , and most of all, him imposing down market urban grubby Moneyshop on us, proves he's incompetent in marketing. Someone shouldn't be CEO of a brand they don't understand.

13 Jul 2016 16:31:26
ULf I see things differently, Like him or loathe him he has overseen self sufficiency, the growth of the retail and corporates. On the football front, whilst we have had some serious lows - div 1 and great highs cardiff and (2 of) the 3 years in the prem and he has represented the club and the league in football matters at a national level.

Yes he's been well rewarded but totally disagree with your view he is one dimensional. If that were the case many of the people he has worked for and alongside would not have kept him on or (as may be the case with the takeover) be looking to him to be the continuity in a very different regime going forwards. Not claiming to be right or wrong just a different viewpoint.

13 Jul 2016 19:48:53
Agree lindseyb. Moxey is an easy target and most fans have no idea what his key responsibilities are. He works to an agenda given to him by his boss. Sure, in his senior position he will have influence on club strategy and direction, but not the final decision. I bet Moxey is highly rated within the footballing admin fraternity.

13 Jul 2016 12:24:00
Jim if your about reassure the doubters please, there's that much pant wettin on here! Do u all sit down to pee? ITS HAPPENING πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

13 Jul 2016 13:36:50
Paul tell them.

There is a reason the realist has been gagged, but you and I haven't.

People, believe this guy and stop fretting.

New Prime Mistress today.
New Owner at Wolves hours away, not feckin weeks.

13 Jul 2016 14:42:00
Yeah but why should people believe this as all we have been fed so far is bull.

13 Jul 2016 15:25:29
Nobodies gagged the realist he's just not in the know as people on here think same as most of the supposed ITK posters.

13 Jul 2016 16:05:21
He's not been wrong many times on this site. Check back and I think you may well have to eat your words.

13 Jul 2016 17:48:34
Realist has always said his contact has been a business associate of Morgan's, no one linked to Wolves, he doesn't bull s--t! And he certainly isn't a pant wetter like a lot on here. StuWolf we will all be celebrating very soon mate πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

13 Jul 2016 18:27:24
Paul,
That we shall buddy.

I get my information from a friend and then I immediately check this site for the realist.
If the two lots match I know it's gospel.

To date it's been 100%.

I believe the realist has been told to say nothing due to the gravity of it all for his source, gag is probably a strong word but last week or the week before I spotted his comment tucked away as a reply to a question where normally he posts a new headline.

13 Jul 2016 11:39:35
And Normal service resumes!

Wolves set to miss out on Nick Powell.

13 Jul 2016 12:17:03
Who cares he's a crock!

13 Jul 2016 12:33:15
Good seond rate and injury prone.

13 Jul 2016 13:39:46
No Doubt! Just seems to be the way at the Wolves they throw you a bone with plenty of meat on only to replace it with the wish bone!

13 Jul 2016 10:39:23
Am I the only one starting to think it's going to be the same old story like the last few seasons. All fancy talk then just disappointed. Nothing will ever be great in our clubs while Bob the builder and Fatman have anything to do with us. Still got my fingers crossed but.

13 Jul 2016 10:54:22
No your not the only one.

13 Jul 2016 11:15:16
Stop panicking wolves fans, common sense tells you that when it's official the players are already to come in with the new manager/ coach whatever, Robin Lei will have had it all in place he as not paid millions of pounds to kick off season in just over 3 weeks time with the squad we have now everybody in there right mind nows that at this present time the squad is wafer thin and would face a relegation battle, my opinion is he will want to get to premier as quickly as possible and that my friends cost money which he as a lot of.
So hang on to your hats and enjoy the ride Wolves fans we have never done nothing the easy way.

13 Jul 2016 11:25:44
Even if there is a takeover now, we are still going to struggle with the league starting in 3 weeks, going to have to be a massive effort just to keep our heads above relegation no matter who comes in, needs to be done quick or it's another season of struggle.

13 Jul 2016 13:04:51
money will get you a team but my friends the manager will make you a team so we hope our new manager will be strong and have the love for our club as we do and not like some managers we have had.

13 Jul 2016 13:23:26
Oh for gawds sake plastic give it a rest and watch your blood pressure!
Talking yourself into hysteria.

13 Jul 2016 13:48:15
Ulf may I say I very much enjoy your posts Ulf is a very old Swedish name are you Swedish by any chance in football money talks but managers make teams for after all its a team game so many teams with lots of money but poor managers please let us have the correct manager.

13 Jul 2016 10:23:34
I think it will be a week Friday they won't rush it through just to give us piece of mind . they will want to get every detail correct and not miss nothing out . but all depends when talks started.

13 Jul 2016 11:37:23
Might be a week Monday at 8:36am then?

13 Jul 2016 11:46:30
Key word in the above, 'THINK'.!

13 Jul 2016 13:26:36
These guys are not stupid who are taking over they will take us to a different level of football we have never seen at the molineux, Since the fifties unless they make it a feeder club for A. C. MILAN even that I'm afraid is better than shopping at poundland and watching paint dry like last year, even our attacking with this wafer thin squad would still be as good if not better than we watched last year which was horrible.

13 Jul 2016 10:17:14
David edwards on sky couch. Will they ask him.

13 Jul 2016 10:08:12
The press are a tad quiet on twitter or anywhere?

13 Jul 2016 09:33:16
Just ask someone at e and s. They get notified in the morning for conferences. And then we can assess lol.

13 Jul 2016 09:19:17
Been reading about this Li apparently he's had no interest in sport in the past, because all the Chinese are buying up clubs it a case of keeping up with the Jones's.

13 Jul 2016 09:29:53
It must be keeping up with the Chin's.

Mind you, Moxey's got more chins than the Chinese telephone directory.

13 Jul 2016 09:54:19
I guess after seeing Abramovich buy Chelsea which was good for normalising Russian image in UK and strengthening / detoxifying ties, for helping make Russia respected in football (Chelsea won Champions League, Russia got awarded World Cup competition etc) and for driving business interests (was good for promoting Samsung and making that brand mainstream and quality) - the Chinese Prime Minister told Chinese business leaders they should get into World football, because they want to grow cultural links with the rest of the World and be included in it, and because Euro football clubs offer an opportunity for the Chinese to land Chinese brands in Europe and make them mainstream (like at Chelsea with Samsung) .

So them buying clubs is them building cultural bridges to help bring our different populations closer together, to promote China and maybe help it win a World Cup tournament like Russia has (particularly after they had such a good experience hosting Olympics) , and as vehicles for their commercial interests.

Wolves identity is a fantastic fit for them, because China's progression out of Communism and towards enterprise and competition is symbolised in China by the wolf (an animal that is enterprising, competes and wins, but in a team and for community, like a merging of communism and capitalism) . So it's reasonable Chinese would want to buy us and make a big deal of us.

13 Jul 2016 11:43:04
You mean, Li is a front for his government and is blindly buying into us for our position inside the EU for access to the single market? Cripes, I hope he and his PM don't hear about Cameron's EU referendum result before the deal is completed. I suspect John Le CarryOn is writing a book about it as we speak.

13 Jul 2016 13:18:30
They probably wouldn't even be buying if we hadn't voted Brexit, as it was that that crashed the value of Β£Sterling and made Brit clubs suddenly more affordable to buy with foreign money. I bet the guy who bought Villa is now annoyed he bought earlier at such a higher exchange rate in May :-)

I don't doubt that Robin Li is part of the Chinese Establishment and this benefits the Chinese State's agenda and Chinese business opportunities, but that's how the whole World works. I'd rather have us promoting Baidu than Moneyshop, instead of us being stuck in the gutter going nowhere with Moneyshop while some other club is bought and invested in to promote Baidu anyway.

And as an aside, there's no way we will leave the single market, it loses everyone (including Euro's and their paymasters) too much money. More likely the EU will be reformed to accommodate us, which is apparently what Merkel is now pushing for (wanting Junckers replaced) , trying to stop Le Penn winning Frances General Election next year and causing whole thing to collapse. And I'm sure the Chinese Govt know this, which is why it's so good for them to buy now while Β£Sterling low because it will get fixed eventually and be back up again.

{Ed001's Note - I thought you knew better than that Ulf, this is nothing to do with Brexit. The Chinese have been looking to invest in English sports teams for a while, long before Brexit happened. There are still at least two more groups interested from China in buying football clubs here.}

13 Jul 2016 07:27:02
Small article in the s*n paper this morning.

13 Jul 2016 06:11:34
Fed up with all the BS. Club mugging us off again. A statement saying negotiations are on going would suffice, wouldn't break any confidentiality agreements.

13 Jul 2016 07:31:45
Agreed that's all it takes.

13 Jul 2016 08:48:40
This how Morgan n moxey operate never communicate with those that matter most - the fans - it's not shock moxey stays on he going have either take orders from new management or stays while the look for new CEO did hear a mr zhang from robin li company meant be coming in as new CEO but got no proof j.

13 Jul 2016 05:40:44
Why all the negative posts regarding lost transfer targets. The new manager and new owners will have their own transfer targets and agenda. I, d rather wait for THEIR players probably from oversees to come in and breath some fresh life and entertainment into a stale boring football side we currently are. You moan about Jacket and Thewell then moan when one of their targets slips the net! You either trust their judgement or you don't!

Typical negative fickle fans your moaning already! Chill your beans and show a little patience. I'd rather wait for some class to arrive.

13 Jul 2016 07:33:04
Ah a sensible voice in the wilderness, at last.

13 Jul 2016 08:56:36
Derby, Lots of jumpy people on here lol

Reading all the comments above about money and Morgan - they will be gone soon so don't see what the issue is, we all know their knobs but they won't be here much longer.

I reckon money may stay for a while through a transition period but his decision making remit will be seriously reduced. Whilst new guys or gals get to grip with things .

Like I say chill guys, go eat some brownies.

13 Jul 2016 09:16:36
Can't see why people are whinging about an acknowledged injury-prone freebee not signing for us, IF this takeover is going ahead. If it isn't we've got far far far more important issues to deal with, like the riots in the streets, the newly installed season ticket holders demanding refunds, and working out how we get through to January with one forward who the manager doesn't think of as a number 9 anyway. And if it DOES go ahead, surely we are right to presume that we will be looking a bit above the level of a guy who just chose to head to Wigan.
This may not be our season, but hopefully it will be one of positive transition rather than the negative transition of the past 18 months.
Pity the negativity of Jez Moxey might not be vanquished, quel surprise.

13 Jul 2016 00:28:05
Well it's official we've lost out on Nick Powell 😞.

13 Jul 2016 06:21:08
Not exactly world class and did have rep for getting injured prob chose Wigan cause less commute we just move on sure more than one target in sights Powell going Wigan bigger blow to Bruce at hull than it is too us.

13 Jul 2016 07:36:51
What is all the fuss about Powell?
They probably said no, nothing to shout home about for gawd sake.
Ask yourself why he went to WIGAN? .
Forget it just try and chill out guys.
