Hi guys. I am a new poster but have been viewing this forum for a while. What appears blatantly obvious to me is that Wolves are doing a great job of being a community club - it is staggering the amount of folk on here who knows someone from the club, so I can only assume that the community officers redoing fine job!
Seriously though, if the rumours are true, let's hope that we keep investing in the academy that has served us well over the last couple of decades. I would hate to see us turn into a Chelsea where the graduates are farmed out and sold without a sniff of a chance of first team football and we try and buy our way to promotion. We have the nucleus of a good team already, we just need the right man to nurture it.
Is the prospective manager ready to and will the touted foreign stars be prepared to slog out a win on a wet, cold, windy night at Oakwell?
I want change and success as much as the next Wolves fan but let's not get carried away.

Well I hope so Paul T. Whilst I cannot stand how the club has been mismanaged at many levels over the past 6 or so years, I don't want to sell the club's soul to the highest bidder. Let's hope the new owners, whoever they turn out to be, do have the club's interests at heart.

I think if Moneyshop owner is looking to buy, then Moneyshop sponsorship is to get round FFP for Prem push warchest, so we'll know by end of this summers transfer dealings if that's what's going on. If we're Moneyshop Wolves but don't spend big this summer, then highly unlikely they're looking to buy, so this is just bad in every way and Moneyshop sponsorship (3yrs) is likely to put off other potential buyers and make us less saleable.
I personally think though Moneyshop owner is looking to buy, think it's why there was rumour that Moxey had flights and hotels to Arabland and China couple of weeks ago, one last look for a different buyer before agreeing with Moneyshop.
